Chapter 27 Wave of Darkness

Eraqus' POV

Bragi, Baldr and I had arrived in a new world, and despite never being here before...we immediately knew where we were.

"No way", I started in shock. "Are we in..."

"The Realm of Darkness", Baldr finished for me.

"That can't be", Bragi stated. "How? How did we get in here? Why did we come in here?!"

"More importantly", Baldr started. "Why did Xehanort come in here?"

"That doesn't matter right now", I stated. "If Xehanort is in here, then he could be in trouble!"

"Eraqus is right", Baldr agreed with me. "We'd better find Xehanort."

"And quick", Bragi added.

"Then what are we waiting for", I asked. "Let's go!"

With that, my friends and I were about to move, but before we could...something appeared.

It was...a tornado of Shadow Heartless!

"What in the worlds is that", I asked in shock.

"A tornado of Shadow Heartless", Bragi replied matter of factly.

"Whatever it is", Baldr started. "It's coming in fast!"

With that, the Heartless tornado thing tried to hit us, but just as it was about to...Bragi shielded us with Reflecta. Baldr and I did the same to keep the barrier up longer.

"Thanks Bragi", I said.

"Don't thank me just yet", Bragi said. "This isn't going to hold it off for long."

"What do we do then", Baldr asked.

"We fight", I replied.

"That thing", Bragi asked referring to the Heartless tornado thing. "Are you crazy Eraqus?! We can't fight that thing!"

"Bragi's right", Baldr agreed. "We need to make a break for it!"

"How", I asked. "I doubt that we'll get far if we try to run for it."

"We need a distraction", Bragi suggested.

"Good idea", I agreed. "I'll do it."

"You sure Eraqus", Baldr asked in concern.

"Are you forgetting who you're talking to", I asked. "I'm the king of distraction."

"More like the king of getting distracted", Bragi stated.

"Exactly", I stated. "It takes one to know one."

"Eraqus", Baldr snapped. "Bragi! Focus please!"

"Right", I said. "Here's the plan. On three, we lower the barrier. I'll try to hold it off while you guys try to make a break for it."

"Or you sure that this is going to work", Baldr asked in concern.

"Probably not", I replied. "But it's better than being sitting ducks."

"Okay then", Baldr said. "Be careful Eraqus."

"You guys too", I said.

"On three", Bragi started. "One. Two. Three!"

With that, we lowered the the shield...and I pierced through the Heartless tornado with my Keyblade!

"Go now", I yelled to Bragi and Baldr.

They then did as told and started running off in different directions.

I looked back at the Heartless tornado thing, and to my horror...it split in two and started going after my friends!

"Bragi", I yelled. "Baldr! Look out!"

But before I could see if my friends were going to be okay...the tornado of Heartless surrounded me, and I was consumed by it.
