"Are you feeling better?" Nick asked.
"I shouldn't have brought you there, it wasn't a safe place."
"It's not your fault Nick." Judy replied.
"You were freaking out and I had to do something about it, that sicko could've dragged you away and have you killed."
"I promise, I won't take you anywhere that makes you feel uncomfortable anymore."
"I'm sorry Carrots, next time I'll ask you if you're okay with it."
"You're fine Nick. I shouldn't have been freaking out that time, I'm just not used to being in shady areas. As a police officer, I patrol around and give out tickets." Judy said.
"I will not leave you behind." Nick responded. "It hurts me to see you suffer like this."
"Nick relax, its okay." Judy said, putting her finger on his lips as a way to hush him.
"Like you said to me, everything will be fine."
"I love you." Judy said as she kissed the fox on the lips.
Nick smiled and kissed her back.
"You matter to me the most, ever since I met you." Nick said, staring into her violet, glistening eyes.
As it turned completely dark, they head back to Nick's apartment for the night.
In there, Nick still had the lights on, they were up a lot longer. Watching a movie, a horror movie. Nick is a big fan of horror related stuff but Judy isn't.
After the movie ended, they both head upstairs to Nick's bedroom.
"Nick this is so thoughtful of you for letting me stay here with you." Judy complemented. Nick chuckled and kissed her on the lips, "My pleasure, I'll do whatever it takes to make you feel safe." He replied, his phone started ringing.
"Hello?"
"Its Bogo, I need you to come over to the station right now."
"Ok what for?" Nick asked.
"We need to have a small talk."
"Carrots, I'll be right back, are you okay being here?" Nick asked.
"I'm fine." Judy replied.
Nick gives her a kiss before he walks out of the door.
