"I know our midwife told us to wait until the twelfth week, but I would like to tell our parents soon," Rose said from the bed. She watched Scorpius as he got ready for work.

Scorpius looked at Rose with a smile. "Sure, anything to make you happy," Scorpius grabbed his coat. He went over and gave Rose a kiss. "I have to leave next week for a week in New York, but sometime after that would work."

Rose nodded and let the sheet fall a little. She watched as Scorpius' eyes went down. He ran a finger along the side of her breast. He looked up in her eyes. "I wish I could, but I have meetings all day," He gave her one more kiss before heading the door.

Rose frowned. She watched him leave before getting up. She went to take shower because she had to be at the manor by eleven. It was the first meeting she was going to for the St. Mungo's charity. She wondered what it will be about. She took out a simple dress to wear. She didn't think that it was a place for jeans and jumpers. The dress was a little tight and Rose took a breath, her baby was in there. It just made it seem more real.

Rose made her to way to the manor in good time. She found her mother-in-law in good time. Astoria smiled. "Thanks for coming early. You can help me greet the guests," Rose nodded and followed Astoria to front hall.

The first guest showed up ten minutes later, Rose smiled at them as Astoria introduced her. Many looked her up and down to see how she was taking to being the new Mrs. Malfoy. Rose gritted her teeth when they would say something. She felt Astoria give her hand a squeeze in resurrection. Rose took a breath before greeting the next lady.

Rose watched the last lady entered the drawing room when Astoria gave her hand a squeeze to have her turn around. Rose turned around to see her aunt. "Aunt Ginny," She hugged her aunt. "I didn't know that you would be here," She gave her mother-in-law a look.

Astoria laughed. "I thought that it would be a nice surprised."

"It is a nice surprised. I didn't know you were a part of this," Rose couldn't keep her smile from growing.

Ginny rolled her eyes. "Yeah, your uncle and I wanted to be part of something when we married. This came up and where I met Astoria." Ginny smiled at Astoria like they were teenagers again. Rose had to wonder what they have been up too.

"Come on, your aunt is the last to get here and we can't keep the ladies waiting," Astoria laced her arm through Rose.

They entered the drawing room to see that all the ladies were sitting down, waiting for their hostess to come in. Rose sat at the table with her aunt and mother-in-law. There were two other ladies at the table, they smiled at them. The ladies were about Ginny's and Astoria's age. Rose didn't see anyone younger than them. The house-elves came in and brought tea to everyone.

"Rose, this Cleo Martin and Mary Winters," Astoria introduced the other two ladies at the table. Cleo was blond hair and blue eyes, but there was a look in her eyes that told anyone she was smarter than she looked. Mary Winters brown hair was pulled back, but there was intelligent behind her green eyes.

Rose glanced around the room to an older lady holding court at the center table. She kept glancing at their table, like she was the real hostess of this group. Rose glanced at another table to see that they were talking about something that had nothing to do with the hospital. At another table they were showing pictures of their grandchildren. Rose frowned. She glanced at her aunt and mother-in-law; they were talking about the hospital.

"Head Healer Taylor was talking to me about adding another wing to the hospital," Cleo said.

"How much are they looking to raise for the new wing?" Ginny asked.

"Maybe two million galleons," Cleo said.

All four women looked at the woman at the head table. "Do you think we can get her on board for it?" Ginny asked.

"You know she turned down the children's wing, saying that they didn't need it and St. Mungo's should be happy with what they get from us." Mary said.

Rose's eyes went with them. She leaned in closer. "Who is she?" She asked. "I've noticed that she is holding court and that she runs these meetings."

Ginny and Astoria smiled. "That is Helen Montgomery, and she is the president of the charity."

"Oh." Rose said. "Why doesn't she want to help the hospital?" Rose didn't like the anger that was raising in her.

"Oh, she does but, on her terms," Ginny glared at her. "She thinks that the hospital can use the same amount every year. The hospital has different needs every year."

"Having a wing just for children would be great for the children, so they don't feel so alone in their treatment. Roxanne wants to be a healer but for children. If she wants to do that, she has to leave the country to that. I'm sure there are other healers would like to work with children. If we want children's healers to stay in Britain, we need them to stay," Rose hissed. All the other women nodded. They agreed with her. "We need to move forward and not stay behind. We will lose more than gain in the future."

"We agree," Astoria smiled. "We've tried to talk to her, but she likes to think of these meetings for gossip and everyone just agreeing with what she decides for the hospital."

"Why is she president?" Rose asked. "Has anyone tried to take away from her?"

"Oh, we all tried, but you see her husband is extraordinarily rich and has the power of his name. She has been president for fifty years."

Rose shook her head. "What do you mean that you tried? You probably have more money than she does," Rose pointed to Astoria. Astoria nodded. "You probably have more power than she does with your husband as Harry Potter," Rose looked at her aunt. Ginny smiled.

"And you just hit it on the mark," Cleo said.

"How?" Rose was a little confused.

"Yes, I have the money, but my husband's name was disgraced after the war. They let me join just because of the money," Astoria smiled.

Rose turned to her aunt. Ginny let out a laugh. "Yes, Harry's name can make some change and they were glad that Harry saved the world, but they thought that he married beneath him. They only let me in because it would look bad if they didn't."

"But you and Uncle Harry have money?" Rose said.

"Yes, but Helen has more, but not as much as the Malfoys," Ginny gave a weak smile.

Rose looked at each of the ladies. "That's crazy. I want to make a difference for the hospital and that is what they need."

"Oh, we agree. We think," Astoria made a circle with her finger pointing to everyone at the table. "That you could do it.

"Me," Rose slowly said. They all nodded. "Why me?" She asked.

"You have more money than she does, and you come from a powerful family. You have what we don't. Both." Ginny said.

Rose was lost for words. She never thought about how much power and money she had. Yes, she was daughter of Ron and Hermione Weasley, but she never thought that they were powerful. She knew that Scorpius' family was rich, but that didn't matter to her. She loved both of her families.

"Wow, that is something I will have to think about," Rose said. They all nodded.

"Can you let us know by December?" Astoria asked. "The election for the new president is in February and we need to put your name in." Rose nodded.

After the meeting, where talk about what needed for the hospital never happened. Rose left her mother-in-law after the last guest left. Rose knew that she had some thinking to do. She had four older women looking at her to make a change that they couldn't. Rose was nervous she didn't think that she could do it. Maybe in a few years, but not now. She was getting used to being married. She was still trying to figure that out. She wished that she could talk to someone about this, and she wanted to talk to Scorpius about this and get his thoughts about. She might have to talk to him when he got home from work.

Rose never got the chance to talk to him because he didn't come home until it was too late to talk. Rose just thought that she would talk to him the next day, but he didn't come home until midnight. Rose didn't see her husband for the rest of the week. She knew that he was getting ready for New York, but she thought that she would see him just once. She figured that she would see him during the weekend, and it was the weekend that they were to go to her grandparents for Sunday dinner. He was always home for that, but he wasn't there for that either. Rose wondered if she should send a letter, asking him to come home.

When Rose got home from her grandparents, where everyone was asking where her husband was. She didn't know what to tell them. She was ready to make herself an extraordinarily rich widow. Rose came home to lights on in the house and she knew that Scorpius was home.

Rose ran in the house to find her husband. She found him in their bedroom. Scorpius was packing for his trip. "Scorpius," She wanted to make her way over to him and pull him in her arms. There was something stopping her.

He looked up from his bag and smiled. "Hello, love. Did you have fun at your grandparents?" He asked.

"Yeah," She said. She wanted to make up a lie because she had a feeling that he wasn't listening to her.

"Good," Scorpius put a suit in his bag.

"Scorpius, there is something I would like to talk to you about," Rose watched as he closed his bag.

"Later, when I get back from New York," He made his way over to her and kissed her on the cheek.

Rose nodded. She wanted to scream at him to make him listen to her. "Remember the Saturday when you get home, we are having our parents over to tell them about the baby."

Scorpius only nodded before heading out. Rose made her way to the window and watched him disappear from her.
