Caledonia Chapter 28

Edward POV

As we enter the summer, I invested in renting tables, chairs, and sun umbrellas so that our customers would be able to sit outside. Wee Caledonia is now not just fully booked inside but also on the outside patio area as well. There are even times where we had to take a few of the tables from Caledonia just to fit everyone in.

Jessica is now helping Bella baking the cakes. This helps Jessica to further her skills, and also helps to keep up with the increased demand that we, so far have been able to stay on top of.

Both places are slowly joining the lists of top places for people to visit in Seattle. Just last week, we were approached by a movie studio asking if they could shoot inside both places for an upcoming film. After talking to everyone, and reading what would be required of us, we have agreed knowing this will be a great promotion for both restaurants. The only thing we have made sure of is that all food shown in the film will be cooked by the staff.

Tonight, is our night off and we are relaxing at home. Bella is twirling her engagement ring on her finger, as she hugs me while we watch a movie. The doorbell rings, making me frown a little.

"I'll get it," I say with a sigh, pausing the movie and hating that our alone time is being interrupted.

I open my door, and am even more surprised to see a worried Rose standing there.

"Can I come in for a few minutes?" she asks casually.

Knowing her, I can tell that this is important. I give her a nod opening my front door fully to give her room to walk in.

We walk back to the living room. "Coffee or tea?" I ask but she shakes her head.

I motion to the chair and she takes a seat as I sit down next to Bella.

The minutes pass with Rose just looking at Bella and me making me chuckle just a little.

"Is there something I can help you with or did you just come to observe what we do with our night off?" I ask a little too hastily as Bella hits my arm, giving me a displeased look.

"I know that you two have only been engaged a couple of months now, and have only been dating a few more than that, but ..." she trails off and lets out a breath. "I was wondering how you felt about getting married this December on the twenty-sixth?"

"Has something happened between you and Emmett?" I ask right way, looking at her more closely. I don't see her as being upset. But, she does look a little paler than her usually fair tone, and she has a warm glow on her face.

"No, nothing like that," she says with a wave of her hand. "I'm pregnant," she states smiling broadly as her hand goes to her tummy.

"Oh, my, God!" Bella yells. "Congratulations," she carries on as she leaps up hugging Rose.

"Congratulations, Rose," I tell her, hugging her as soon as Bella has let her go. "But I thought the baby would make you want to get married more than ever?"

"Oh, we are getting married, but I am due on the thirty-first of December, and I don't want to be that stressed when I am that far along. There is also the fact I keep eating Bella's cakes, and will need a wheel barrel by that time in my pregnancy to even get around."

"You'll be beautiful, no matter what size you are," Bella tells her, and I nod at my sister in agreement.

"No doubt, but that situation is not something I want to even try. I don't want to chance having the baby early and ruining the day, being sick, or anything. Since I have already paid for the catered meal, and venue; everything for the day is set. The venue and caterer are neither overly willing to give the money back, and you know how I feel about losing money like that."

I give her a sharp nod hating that myself.

"So, I thought instead of cancelling anything I could ask you two first if you had interest in using that day for yourselves."

My eyes move to Bella's looking at her. "What do you think about getting married this December?" I ask with a hopeful sound to my voice.

"Sounds good to me," Bella smiles.

I grin hugging Bella to me.

"Fine, Rose, we will do it, but I'm paying for yours, and any differences that we want to the day in December."

Rose rolls her eyes but nods.

"When is your new date?" Bella asks. "I assume I am still doing your cake, right?"

"Ah, yeah, was there ever any doubt?" Rose grins. "The new date is July the thirteenth."

I just look at her as if she is crazy. That is only eight weeks away.

"I can do that," Bella says.

"Are you sure, I know it's kind of short notice?" Rose asks.

"I am sure, you will have your cake, no worries."

"Do mom and dad know?" I ask.

Rose again looks at me with a worried smile. "I'm telling them next," she says. "I am hoping with it being a week day and the day before their own anniversary they'll take the news fairly well."

"Are you really doing it like this?" I ask after I chuckle. Rose has always planned things down to a tee, and this is the first time she's ever done anything important on such short notice.

"Hell, yeah, this baby is more important than anything else. I don't care if I have everything, I've ever dreamed of, as long as he or she is healthy. This is what both Emmett and I want."

"Rose, why don't you let me organize this for you? Just give me the names of people to invite, and what you have done so far and Vicky, Alice, Jessica, and I will handle the rest," Bella states.

"Are you sure?"

Bella just nods at her. "You already planned so much of the December day, and I owe you. Besides, if I have your wedding to plan then it takes that stress away from you, so this is only fair."

"Okay, deal," Rose says clearly happy. "I best get to mom and dad's," she says, sounding as if she doesn't want to go.

"They'll be happy there's a baby on the way," I tell her.

"I know, just feel like a teenager who's going to tell her parents that her boyfriend knocked her up," she stops and laughs loudly. "Sorry, I just had an image of you going to tell Vicky that Bella was pregnant."

I look at her as she goes back to laughing. "Just wait until you're married and you should be fine."

"Hey wait, why is Emmett not going with you to tell them?"

"He is, but he's working this afternoon, and I said I'd talk to you two without him first."

I give her a nod. "Let me know how it goes, and email me all of the costs, so I can sort them out."

"It's fine and already paid for," she sticks her tongue out at me in a childish way.

"Well, I'm paying you back anyway. If nothing else, you can put it in the bank for this little one," I say placing my hand on her tummy. I stop and frown. "You've got a bump already," I say surprised.

"Her cakes," she says, pointing at Bella. "Talk to you both later, enjoy the rest of your day off."

I walk Rose out then head back to Bella. "Are you sure about this?" I ask and Bella nods her head.

"Hell yeah, this will beat last year's Christmas' arse!"

I chuckle as I pull her to me.

"I was thinking of asking Rose, Alice, and Jessica to be bridesmaids and Sasha to be the flower girl."

"She'll make a lovely flower girl," I say, thinking it's a great gesture to include Steven's daughter. Not just for Steven but for James too.

"That is a great idea but who will be the ringbearer?" I ask.

"Ringbearer? Do you mean pageboy?"

"I think it is the same thing, but yes."

"Not sure," Bella says.

"Okay, we can figure it out, I know I want to ask Jasper, James, Emmett and Jake to stand up for me, and maybe we can have one of them take that role even though they are not a boy."

Bella frowns at little. "Would you wear a kilt?"

"Would you like me to wear a kilt?" I respond.

"Hell yeah, I love a man in a kilt."

"Then I will wear a kilt," I grin before I start to kiss her soft lips.

"I think I need to have a talk with Vicky and Jimmy," Bella says, stopping my kissing her.

"About?"

"Calling them mum and dad!" she says and this time I pull back knowing this needs my attention.

"I think they will love that. I know Jimmy will be jumping to walk you down the aisle."

"I know he will, but ..." She stops and looks down at my chest and starts to play with the buttons on my shirt showing me she is nervous. "Esme has already said that she would be happy when we get married if I called her mom, but likewise she would be happy if I called her by her name, and that I can choose whatever I am happy with. It got me thinking that if I were to call her and your dad, mum and dad, then I would first call Vicky and Jimmy that. They are who raised me, helped shape and make me who I am today."

I kiss her head softly. "I will be by your side or wait patiently if you want to tell them on your own."

"Thank you," she says and I kiss her lips again.

"No need to thank me, we are in this together."

~Caledonia~

Bella decided that she would make it a little bit more special when she asked Vicky and Jimmy if she could call them mum and dad. She with my help has put on a special early dinner for them, and we are all upstairs.

"Relax, Sweetheart," I whisper against her ear when I can see that she's starting to become more anxious.

"Oh, Bella, Edward, yer food smells lovely," Jimmy says as he takes a seat at the table.

"Da ye need any help Baby?" Vicky asks as she walks in.

"No, we've got this, take a seat," I quickly answer as I rub Bella's back hoping that I can calm her down a little.

I help Bella serve Vicky and Jimmy their dinner, and then join them at the table. "I love the fact I have two boys and a girl that are so good at cooking," Vicky hums. "Even the healthy food tastes good," she carries on.

"Bella did most of the cooking today," I say proudly as Bella blushes avoiding my eyes.

"I know, and it's great. Bella, you're really coming along with you cooking skills nicely," Vicky says sounding equally proud of her.

Bella takes a few deep breaths. "There is a reason that I wanted to do this for you both. I wanted to thank you for all of your help, over the years; more so these last few months. I can't tell you how grateful I am."

"Baby, we wanted ta do dis, ye are a part of oor family, and dat's what family does fer each other," Jimmy tells her.

"I know, that's sort of why ..." Bella stops. "I wanted to ask you both ... how you would feel about my calling you mum and dad?" Bella pauses as Vicky and Jimmy simply look at her. "It's just with Edward asking me to marry him, and Esme saying I am welcome to call her mum; it got me to think more about what you two are to me."

Vicky doesn't let Bella carry on as she gets up hugging Bella. "I would love that, you'll always be our daughter, and have been from the second you walked into our home."

Jimmy stands up hugging Bella too. "I love ye," he says looking her right in the eye.

"I love you, both, too, so I take it you are okay with giving me away?"

Jimmy shakes his head at her. "I am naw givin ye away ta anyone, but I will gladly walk ye to Edward."

"We've set a date, the twenty-sixth of December."

"That is Rose's date?" Vicky says.

"She had to change her plans and have her wedding earlier, and we're taking her date," I tell them.

"Told ye Rose was preggers," Jimmy says only looking at Vicky.

Vicky seems to look at me as if she looking for confirmation in my face, which she seems to get as she smiles. "Oh, a wee baby, cannae wait."

We all sit back down at our places.

"We don't have much time to organize this wedding," Vicky says.

"Well, it's just flowers, cake, clothing, and a band. Rose already did everything else," Bella says. "And I said we'll help with hers as well."

Vicky eyes widen a little. "So even less time. You need to get ye Kilt off ta the dry cleaners," she says to Jimmy. "Are we having a Ceilidh?"

"Would love one," Bella states.

"Ceilidh?" I ask

"You'll love it, it's great fun," Bella says looking happier and excited.

"I'm sure I will, but you need to give me the heads up, so I know what I am doing." My eyes shift to Vicky. "Do you think you could help me get a kilt?"

"Ye wearing a kilt are ye?" Jimmy says grinning happy as I nod at him.

"Are gonna be a true Scotsman?"

I just raise my eyebrow unsure what he means.

"They don't wear anything under the Kilt, so they go commando."

"Eh, it will be winter," I say.

"And? dinnae stop me," Jimmy says as he just looks at me.

"We'll see," I say chuckling as I shake my head.

"What about granny Mary?" Bella looks at me. "She likes to look up the kilts of the men at weddings."

I just look at the side of Bella's head. "What?" I ask feeling as if I didn't understand what she said.

"Mary, she's in her eighties. I love the woman, but she likes to try and take photos up the men's kilts." Bella smiles a little. "She finds it funny, and she does not take a photo. she just jokes that she is." Bella looks at Vicky. "I hope she can come."

"I'm sure she will," Vicky says patting Bella's hand.

"Tell her that I'll pay for her ticket and I am sure we can find a place for her to stay with one of my family if needed."

Vicky just looks at me. "She's got more than enough to get her own ticket." She rolls her eyes. "And she'd stay here with us, but thank you for the offer," Vicky says as Jimmy chuckles.

"There will be few people that are coming from Scotland that you wouldn't want to offer that to. As for Mary, she's got about forty thousand hiding around her house," Vicky states.

"What, why?" I ask.

"She doesn't trust the banks. She thinks that if her money is in the bank when she dies the government will keep it since she's not got any family, blood family, that is that are still alive."

"But she has it in her home, what if someone broke in?" I ask.

"Her three dogs would take care of them," Bella tells me with a smile.

Jimmy laughs "Yeah, dey all ex police dogs, beside she has de money in places, people wooldn't think ta look. I have also installed a security system in her home."

I just nod at them, still thinking it's strange not to have that kind of money in a bank.

Vicky suddenly claps her hands. "I get to go wedding dress shopping with my baby girl."

I snort, "I think James would want to go with you too."

Vicky rolls her eyes. "Just because he is gay doesn't mean he likes shopping," Vicky says in a matter-of-fact tone. I open but close my mouth unsure what to reply to that.

"He is naw dat fond of shoppin, but dis time he will be dere," Jimmy says as he rolls his eyes "He does like dat kind of shoppin'."

"Car shopping is his favorite, and then wedding dresses. He loves weddings ... that and shopping for food, so that he can cook," Bella tells me with a small roll of her eyes.

"We can get a date to suit the three ..." Vicky cuts herself off. "I think Esme, Alice, and Rose would all want to come dress shopping too, so we need to get a date that suits all of us and shop for your dress." She barely finishes talking before she walks away with her cell to her ear.

"I assume that your mother will already know this news?" Vicky turns back and asks.

I nod my head at little. "She knows Rose is pregnant, and I am sure Rose has said she was offering us her old date. You are free to tell that we have."

Vicky gives me a thumbs up, as she turns back and walks away. I am sure she's going to talk to my mom.

~Caledonia~

Bella and the girls; including James, are looking for Bella's and the bridesmaids' dresses as well as making the finishing touches for our wedding along with helping Rose with her arrangements; which I am pleased to say is coming along nicely. I don't know all the finer details, but I have made sure Bella has my full support and I am with her on anything she wants. The only thing that I am doing solely is booking our honeymoon. I have planned a three-week vacation for us. Starting off in Glasgow Scotland, we'll spend around a week there and then head to Paris for the remainder of our honeymoon. I am happy we are getting married in the beginning of the year as most places are quieter during the weeks of the festive seasons.

I have traveled all around America, but I have never travelled abroad, so I am rather looking forward to seeing another country as well as the city where Bella grew up.

Jimmy has helped Emmett, Jasper, my father, and me, by measuring us so that we could send away for our own kilts. He also talked us into getting our own Kilt instead of renting, and we know that they should arrive within the next few months. He is in talks with the person that makes them in Glasgow, who said he will find someone here in the Seattle area who can make the adjustments, and help with the finishing touches for us. All of the male wedding party will be in the same tartan. Emmett, Jasper, and James are all going to wear Jimmy's family tartan, which looks quite a lot like Bella's.

"Large order," Jake says almost huffing as he hands me the ticket." I just look at him.

"Your girl is here with the whole group, and some extra to have dinner." I look at the ticket seeing that it is a total of fifteen covers.

"Okay, so what's got your fanny in a pinch?" I ask having picked up more and more slang from Bella, Jimmy, Jake, Vicky and Jimmy.

"I'm working," he states and I chuckle shaking my head.

"Sorry, Jake, but I need you."

"I ken, but James isnea getting ta go ta stag do, he cannea da the bridal shopping day, hens do, in then get ta come to te stag do, Steven can come instead."

I just nod my head so he knows I have heard him, as I call out the starters for the order.

I know everything is running smoothly so I slip out looking at Bella's table. I see her, Vicky, James, my parents, Rose, Emmett, Jimmy, Steven, Steven's ex-wife Kelly, and her current husband Brian. Sasha, Steven and Kelly's daughter, Jessica, Jasper, and Alice are also with them.

I only watch for a few minutes knowing that Bella is happy and had a good day. She seems to be glowing with happiness. I also know nearly everyone except Jimmy, Emmett, my father, and Brian who were with Bella, and the girls as they picked out their dresses. I suppose after all that they decide to grab food, so they came here to have dinner.

I head back into the kitchen and when I have Bella's table's order ready, I call it and then help by taking Bella's plate out myself.

"Hey, Sweetheart," I say as I place it in front of her kissing her check. "You look as if you had a good time."

"I did," she says, keeping her eyes on my own. "We got everything taken care of."

I give her a small nod before again kissing her cheek.

"Enjoy your meal, and I'll see you later," I say knowing I need to get back to the kitchen.

Bella catches my hand pulling me back as she stands up.

"Love you," she says before she kisses my lips. "Wished you could've joined us."

"I know honey, but this is your day. I love you," I say with a wink kissing her one last time before heading to the kitchen.

~Caledonia~

It's not overly late when Bella and I head home. I have been watching her from the corner of my eye, as she sits beside me in the vehicle biting her lip.

"My dress ..." she says and stops.

I just hum, knowing she is worried about something.

"Vicky was worried by the size and weight of it, she talked me into getting another for the Ceilidh."

I grin widely. "So, I get to see you in two beautiful dresses?"

Bella blushes more. "Hope you don't mind."

"Of course not," I pause for a few seconds. "We should start to practice these Ceilidh dances," I say I feeling only a little worried about them.

"That's a little hard to do with just two, we need more people," she says with a smile. "Don't worry you'll get the hang of it quickly."

I just look at her. "Hey, I only know a few and that's because we had to do them as part of our athletics in school."

I just look at her puzzled. "We did the same three dances at our Christmas parties, so we were made to learn the three dances the weeks leading up to Christmas, it was rather fun, I enjoyed it."

"What grades did they start teaching them in?" I ask with a smile.

"All the way through, we all huff about it, but it was fun and everyone was made to join." Bella swallows. "There were a few boys and girls that got picked on," she looks at me with her brow drawn in. "They were bullied. It was never easy for them during those classes. I always picked one of the boys, he was nice, and just shy and his home life wasn't the best. I did feel sorry for them with some of my other classmates complaining that they smelled bad and they did not know why they had to be partnered with them." Bella rolls her eyes. "None of them were as bad as the dick heads and bitches were making them out to be," Bella sighs a little at the end. "I hate people being mean, even if they feel they have a reason."

I place my hand in hers, and give it a little squeeze.

"I can understand what you mean, my school was the same. We didn't do much dancing in gym classes, but when we played sports there were times when people were just outright cruel and hurtful to others."

"Were you?" she asks.

I shake my head as I answer her. "No, I respected my parents too much, and knew they wouldn't tolerate bullying. It just wasn't how I was raised. Even Rose, if she didn't like someone she was paired up with, she just got on with it and did her work," I pause for a few seconds. "You can still show me."

"Fine, but we really do need more people for it."

"Then get James, Jake, Vicky and Jimmy to join in with us. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to make sure the others all know the basic steps too."

Bella rolls her eyes but nods her head.

Before heading to bed, Bella lets me watch some videos that she saved on a USB for the Ceilidh, which did nothing to ease my nerves about learning all the steps. Even with Bella telling me that you are merely repeating the same block of moves, I could see it ending badly if I did not learn it beforehand.

~Caledonia~

I am dressed in a well fitted suit, for Rose and Emmett's wedding. Even with the small amount of time that we had to get this day organized we have managed it fairly well.

"I think I am going to be sick," Emmett says looking a little pale.

"Just take deep breaths, ye be fine," Jimmy tells him.

Emmett takes a few deep breaths but doesn't look any better making me chuckle.

"Just wait until it's your turn," he says to me with a glare.

"I'm looking forward to being married to Bella, and would do it today if I could," I answer back.

"I am looking forward to marrying Rose, I'm just getting nervous that's all," he says harshly before taking another deep breath. "And then there is the baby ... I'm gonna be a dad ... me?" as he says each word, he's gets paler.

"Ye be fine," Jimmy says hitting Emmett on his back.

"You're looking a bit pale, Emmett," Bella says joining us.

My eyes scan her, seeing her in her dress for the first time.

"You look amazing," I say as my eyes just keep taking her in.

She smiles a little as a blush crosses her face. "Rose is ready now, if you could head in."

Emmett takes a breath in as he nods his head. "Okay," he says with a smile.

"I'll watch him, until you make it in."

"You're looking very dashing, but I still think you'll rock the kilt," Bella tells me, making me grin. I place my hands on the side of her face, kissing her softly.

"Seeing you here, looking like you do just makes me more excited for our own wedding." I frown a little. "I never thought I could or would feel the way that I do. I love you."

"Why don't you let go of my sister," Jasper says with a huff making me grin.

"She'll be my wife soon," I remind him.

"Yeah, but your sister is walking down the aisle soon, so all eyes on her." As he says the words, Bella pulls away from me, making me glare at him.

My eyes shift away from him to Rose, who looks amazing and beautiful in her dress.

"You look beautiful," I tell her, and place my hand on her bump. Bending down I lightly kiss her bump. "Now you behave today, and let your mommy enjoy this, it's her wedding day."

I feel her shake and I stand looking at her. "Most people don't know about the baby but they will as soon as they see me."

I shrug. "You'll be fine, who cares what anyone thinks or says. Besides, no one in their right mind messes with Rose Cullen," I say snapping my fingers the way Rose did when we were teenagers.

The music starts and Alice and Bella give Rose the finishing touches as Jake walks my mother down the aisle. Bella and Jasper are the next to follow, as Rose wanted to split up the couples.

"Thank you so much for including my girl," I whisper to Rose knowing she had a few friends that she could've chosen instead.

"Friends come and go, family is for life," she says as James guides Emmett's sister, Sarah down the aisle.

James and Jake weren't a part of the wedding party, but Rose was stressed about who would walk the mothers' to their seats. Alice, Bella, and me were standing for her and Emmett had only asked his sister and Jasper to stand for him, so she was a male short. James quickly offered his service, saying that he'd gladly escort Emmett's sister if she wanted and then he would sit with Emmett's and her parents. Rose quickly agreed, knowing that would look better than the girl walking down alone. As James takes his seat, I wish Rose luck kissing her cheek before offering Alice my arm.

"You look beautiful, too," I tell her, making her blush just a little as we walk to join the rest.

I wink at her and let her stand next to Bella, I watch my father as he guides Rose down.

As the service goes on, my eyes seem to stay on Bella. I don't think she fully understands just how much she has changed my life. She replaced a gap in my life that I wasn't aware was as big as it was, until after it was filled.

I was happy on my own, but I am happier now that I have someone to share it with. Someone that I know makes me a better person, and who I know I can share my dreams with.

"You may kiss the bride," the pastor says and my eyes go back to Rose, and a much calmer looking Emmett. I join in clapping as they kiss.

Bella and I escape from the photographer after he takes the photos we had to be in, and head to the kitchen. When we get there Jessica, and Vicky are ready and waiting for us.

"I hope she likes this," Bella says, sounding worried.

"She loves your cakes," I remind her. "The only problem we may face is her snot wanting to share."

"Yeah, but ..." I look at the cake and feel my mouth open, "fuck me you are good at this."

Rose's wedding cake is so beautiful, whatever frosting Bella has used is making the cake look as if it is sparkling, it's like she iced it with millions of tiny crystals. The cake design matches Rose's dress, even some of the small details are exactly like those in her dress.

"This is what I am worried about." Bella shows me the bride and groom that she has made which I know is edible. My eyes are on the groom, which has an uncanny resemblance to Emmett as she places it on the top of the cake. Bella then picks up the bride, and right away I chuckle and smile seeing that she made it look like Rose, and she is obviously pregnant.

"She'll love it."

The four of us push the cake carefully out, to the hall. We set it up as Emmett and Rose make their way to us.

"Holy shit," Rose says. "This is truly amazing," she says hugging Bella.

"Yeah, Bell's you really outdid yourself this time. Wait ... is that me?" Emmett says like a kid. "Look Rosie it's us, and you're pregnant too," he says pointing the bride and groom out and Rose's smile gets bigger.

"That's really perfect, I mean the baby is a part of today after all."

Bella tells them that the bride and groom are edible, and that she has taken a bunch of photos of them. We stand aside allowing Rose and Emmett to cut the cake, getting the last of the photos taken.

The rest of the night goes by with the meal and various speeches. During this time, I watch many people go to the cake taking photos of it, before it is taken back to the kitchen to be cut.

Bella and I are dancing around the room, when Jake and Jessica dance up to us.

"Just to let you know, seven people posted the cake on Facebook, and it has been shared over a thousand times already. Everyone is saying not only does the cake look amazing but the likenesses of the bride and groom are very accurate. I'd bet we are going to get a few more bookings after this."

I nod my head and smile at Jessica. "Keep an eye on it but remember you are off duty." Jessica nods as she rolls her eyes dancing away from us.

"I think we should make up a new job; a media liaison person and give it to Jessica," Bella snorts as I nod at her. The one thing I have found out about Jessica, is that she's always the first person to know when Caledonia and Wee Caledonia are being talked about. It doesn't matter if it is a food critic, a Twitter post, a Facebook mention or a photo being shared, she hardly misses a thing, which is good for us.

"I agree, we'll talk to Vicky and see what we can come up with, but I think she enjoys helping you make the cakes too."

"I know she does, and she is coming along great. She doesn't mind that I am younger than her. You know she doesn't treat me as if I am a teenager at all."

"No one should mistreat you, teenager or not," I say looking at her.

"I know but, I mean ... I am teaching her, she listens, making me feel if I could do it more, you know like Granny Liz used to teach others."

I nod my head as I look into her eyes. "If that's something you would like to do, we can look into it, but don't take too much on, you are only one person."

"I want to learn too, I kind of miss you teaching me," she says looking up at me.

"Oh, that is something we can start again, anytime you want," I tell her. "I do miss you in my kitchen." I kiss her lips pulling her closer to me. "Rose and Emmett are leaving at nine, so I say we follow them out, and then have a night to ourselves," I say wiggling my brow at her. "There are a few things I can take you home and teach you to cook."

"Sounds like a great plan," she smiles. "Now let's enjoy this wedding reception, huh?"

I kiss her again, pulling back I cannot help but to smile and feel happy knowing that the next time we are at something like this it will be our wedding day and she will be my wife.

A/N: So Rose and Emmett have tied the knot, so tell us, how excited are you to read about Edward and Bella getting married?
