Day 8 of 30 - Favorite toy as a child
Sirius' favorite toy as a child was his toy broomstick. This should not be much of a surprise because he grew up loving flying and quidditch. But James did not see it coming when Sirius bought Harry his first broomstick. The moment Lily told him she was pregnant, Sirius made it his mission to find a toy broomstick and even though it took almost two years, he found one. He even made sure it had Harry's name on it in gold lettering. Sadly it would be twelve years before he saw Harry fly and twelve years before he bought Harry his next broomstick, yet this one was not a toy.
