The next chapter is up! Enjoy :)

The pain was unbearable. All around her, she heard screaming. It took her a moment to realize it was her that was screaming. Doctors in lab coats surrounded her and for a moment, that was all she could see. Christina couldn't make out any faces though, due to the large light overhead shining down on them all and her.

She grit her teeth and sat up. Her eyes darted around as she looked for Frieza.

"Where is he? Where's Frieza!?" She yelled.

None of them answered her at first. Until one familiar voice spoke up.

"He was no longer needed anymore. He served his purpose."

It was Doctor Finn, the man responsible for all of her and Frieza's horrors.

Christina's eyes widened and she shook her head back and forth while chanting; 'No', over and over.

"No! I don't believe you! Where is he!?" She screamed.

His trademark creepy grin lit up his face as he gestured over his shoulder. Christina looked behind him, only to let out a wail of anguish. Frieza, lying face down on the floor in a pool of his own blood. He wasn't moving and he didn't appear to be breathing.

She began sobbing uncontrollably. A couple moments later, her sobs turned into screams of pain once more. Christina looked down and noticed her pregnant belly on display and her legs spread wide open. A doctor was standing at the ready between her legs.

"This isn't real! I'm not really here! We're all safe at home!" She shouted, through a contraction.

Doctor Finn chuckled, "No, that was a dream. This is you're reality. The sooner you realize it, the better. Now, be a good girl, and push."

Christina refused to believe his words. But the pain she was feeling in her abdomen was very real and she can smell the rubbing alcohol in the sterilized Medical Room. She arched her back and dug the back of her head into the small pillow. She didn't want to push! She didn't want these monsters to get her baby! But it's not like she can hold it in either.

The pain as each wave of contraction that wrought her body, made her vision blur. Christina screamed at the top of her lungs as the baby started pushing through her opening. Her body was working apart from her mind on it's own accord, in pushing the baby out with each contraction. She shook her head from side to side.

"NO! NOOOOO!" She shrieked.

More and more of the child came through. Then the pain subsided. A wail that was not her own filled up the room. Christina picked up her head which felt like a lead weight at this point. She saw the doctor hold up a small bloodied infant. The baby continued to cry as he held her up for all to see, like a trophy.

"Success! We've finally accomplished it! Here's our first hybridized warrior! Let the Gods tremble before her power!" Doctor Finn said, with triumph.

Tears streamed down Christina's face as she weakly held her arms out towards her newborn daughter.

"No! My baby! Give her to me!" She weakly sobbed.

The doctor shook his head and he turned and started walking away with the child, who was still wailing her head off. Christina was too drained and exhausted to move. But that didn't stop her from trying to get to her.

"Kira!" She wailed.

Hands were upon her trying to force her back down. One of them came over with a mask and was trying to slip it over her head. Christina panicked and struggled against the hands restraining her. Then through a fog, she thought she heard someone shouting her name.

"CHRISTINA, WAKE UP!" Frieza yelled, as he tried to hold onto the flailing woman in his grip. He had flipped the nightstand lamp on when he heard her start whimpering prior to her outburst.

She was twisting and turning so much, he had to grab ahold of her before she rolled off of the bed. Tears were pouring down her cheeks as she went back and forth from sobbing to screaming. He never had this much trouble waking her before from a nightmare. But this time was different. Her dream was so vivid and real to her, that she was thrashing against her captors in the dream.

Anubis jumped up onto the end of the bed and started whining. He looked to Christina, before turning to Frieza, as if asking the former tyrant to do something! Unfortunately, Frieza could only think of one thing to try, and he hated that he had to do so.

"I'm so sorry, Love." He said.

Then he pulled back slightly and slapped her across the face. Christina yelped in surprise as her eyes flew open. She was huffing and puffing, her eyes shooting all around the room in bewilderment. Until her eyes finally landed on Frieza, who was still holding her. He cupped her tender cheek and brushed some damp strands of hair off her sweaty face.

She broke down again and pressed her face into his chest. Frieza carded his fingers through her long hair in a soothing motion as he gently kissed the top of her head.

"You were dead! They took her away!" She said, between sobs.

"It's alright now. It was a dream, they're gone and can never hurt us again. We're home and we're safe." He assured her.

"It felt so real though. Like I was really there. I could feel the excruciating pain of the delivery and smell the cleanliness of the sterile Medical Room. I saw you...I saw you lying on the floor only a few feet away. There was so much blood." Christina sobbed.

"I'm here. It didn't happen. I promise you; it's over, and we are safe." He repeated, trying to calm her down.

Frieza told Christina to take a few deep breaths. As she did, she felt an odd sensation, and...did she just piss herself?

She furrowed her brows and looked down. A growing wet spot was forming between her legs on the sheets.

"Frieza, I think something happened." She said.

He looked at her and saw her looking down at something. His eyes widened, when he saw the fairly large wet spot between her legs. Frieza reached down to touch it. He pulled his hand back and rubbed it between his fingers. It was clear. So it wasn't blood. This only meant one thing.

"I think my water just broke." She gasped.

"What? No, it's too early, isn't it!? You still have at least a few weeks left!" He said, slightly panicked.

Christina leaned her head back against his shoulder.

"Try telling our daughter that. Seems like she's choosing now to come." She said.

A contraction hit her, making her wince. Frieza placed his hand over her swollen belly. He couldn't sense any distress coming from the child. Perhaps, she really is just choosing this very night to come. He needed to get Christina ready then, and take her to the hospital.

"Alright, let's get you ready, and take you to the hospital. You can bring you're phone and call the others from there. I'll grab the 'To Go' Bag. Just wait here." He told her.

Christina had to hold back a chuckle, as Frieza tried to scramble from the bed as quick as he could. Only to face plant onto the carpet, because he didn't realize his legs were still tangled in the twisted sheets. He cursed, as he pushed himself up, and turned to pull his legs out.

"You having some trouble there?" She teased.

"Just focus on you're breathing." He said, trying to hide his obvious embarrassment.

She rolled her eyes while shaking her head. Then let out a slight hiss of pain and put a hand on her stomach as another contraction came. Anubis gently placed his head on her lap, his way of trying to keep her calm. Christina ran her hand over the thick black fur on his head and neck. As she watched Frieza shove a hand beneath the bed and fish out the bag. He pulled it out and placed it on top of the bed.

"Do you need help putting you're shoes on?" He asked, as he approached her side of the bed.

Christina scooted up and turned to put her legs over the side.

"I'll just get my slip on sneakers." She said, and made to get up.

He gently placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't strain yourself. I'll get them, wait here." He said.

She sighs, "Frieza, remember what we talked about a couple weeks ago? I'm not an invalid at this point. And you said you wouldn't treat me as such. Please, let me get up and get the shoes. I really feel the need to get up and walk right now."

He remembered the little speech that she spoke of. He just couldn't help it. It's just so easy to worry about someone you deeply care about. But she is right, and Frieza had a feeling Christina would only get pissed if he kept insisting on treating her like a fragile china doll.

"Alright, just please be careful." He said.

She smirks, "It's a mere ten feet to the closet. I think I'll survive."

Christina pushed herself up and waddled to the closet. Once she entered the walk-in closet, Frieza turned to Anubis, who was still lying on the bed.

"I swear, you're Master is going to give me ulcers with how much she makes me worry." He said, to the canine.

"I heard that." Christina said, as she was about to exit the closet.

She gasped again and clutched the side of her belly. While gripping the door frame with her other hand. Frieza was up in an instant and headed for her. Christina held up a hand as he drew closer.

"I'm fine." She said.

He walked beside her as she waddled back to the bed and sat down. She dropped the sneakers to the floor and pushed her feet into them. Christina stood back up and told him she was ready. They headed for the second floor balcony and slid open the glass door. She didn't need a coat. Not in early July. The air was warm and humid.

Frieza shouldered the bag and picked Christina up. He slowly ascended into the air and started heading in the direction of the hospital. They were a bit of a ways out, because they lived on the outskirts of the city, where it was less crowded, and there were houses rather than buildings. The spot they picked to put their capsule home was not far from the beach. Not surprising, since Christina grew up by the sea, and loved the water.

He flew at a steady speed, careful not to go too fast, and they arrived at the hospital in ten minutes. Frieza landed just outside. It was currently 2:30am, not many people were out at this time of night, so it was pretty quiet. As he approached the sliding doors, someone from inside behind the reception desk spotted them coming in. The secretary spoke to one of the orderlies next to the desk and motioned at the entrance.

He saw them and rushed to get one of the wheelchairs by the doors. Then he walked out with it and brought it over to them.

"Hello, what happened?" He asked, in concern.

"Her water broke, and she's in labor." Frieza replied.

"Ok, let's get her in the wheelchair, and then we will bring her up to Maternity." He instructed.

Frieza gently sat her down in the wheelchair. The orderly turned her around and started wheeling her to the entrance. Frieza walked beside Christina, and held her hand.

"Can you tell me exactly how long ago did her water break?" The orderly asked, as they walked through the halls.

"About fifteen minutes ago." Frieza replied.

"And when did contractions start and how far apart are they?" He asked.

"I've only had a few contractions between now and then." Christina said.

"Alright, we'll have you set up in you're own bed soon. And we will have one of the doctors come in and look at you." The orderly explained.

On the elevator ride up, another contraction hit. Christina winced and gripped Frieza's hand. He gently ran his thumb over her knuckles. The elevator doors opened, revealing the Maternity Floor. He wheeled her pass the front desk and down to a room on the right.

"Well, here we are. And you get this whole room to yourself. Because it's very slow tonight, hardly many patients are here at the moment." The orderly said.

"Thanks." Christina said, as Frieza and the orderly helped her sit down.

"Do you have a Primary Doctor you want us to call in for delivery?" He asks.

Christina nodded. Bulma had her set up with a doctor for appointments not long after she returned back to Earth.

"Yes, Dr. Paige Ryland. She's down at Wushu St. OBGYN." She said.

"Yep, we know them. We'll make the call for you. In the meantime, there's a gown laid out near the foot of the bed. You're Husband here can help you put it on. The bathroom is that door on the left." He said, gesturing to a door a few feet away from her bed.

"Thank you." Christina said.

"You're welcome, Miss. One of the nurses will be in here soon to hook you up to an I.V. Drip and to one of the heart monitors. Just sit tight." He said, before leaving.

Christina chuckled, and Frieza gave her a questioning look.

"What's so funny?" He asks.

"We didn't bother to correct him on the 'Husband' part." She replied.

It's something they haven't been thinking about. Mainly because they had so much going on for them right now, especially with the arrival of their child. Though, it didn't mean they like to think of it as a possibility.

He smirks at her, "Well, you kind of do already infuriate me as someone's Wife would. So, he's not that far off in his assumption."

"Do you...do you maybe see that as a possibility for us in the future?" She asks.

Frieza leaned in a kissed her forehead, "I don't see why not, Love."

She smiles, but winces again when another contraction hits her.

"Let's close this curtain for a moment and get you into the gown though." He said.

Christina stood up, as he pulled the curtain around the bed for some privacy. Then she started pulling her knee length nightgown over her head. She had a hard time bending down, so Frieza had to pull off her undies for her. Then he helped her into the gown. Christina sat back down on the bed and kicked her sneakers off. Before turning and lifting her legs onto the bed. He helped her pull the light covers up to her lap.

She then asked him to pull the curtain back. He did, then sat beside her on the bed, and waited for the nurse to come. Frieza shrugged off the 'To Go' Bag and placed it near her. Christina went into the side pocket and pulled out her iphone and the charger. She wanted to give Bulma a call and tell her what's up. Plus, she needed someone to care for Anubis during her stay in the hospital.

"Hey Bulma, I'm so sorry for calling in the middle of the night. But I'm just letting you know, that my water broke a little earlier, and that I'm currently at the hospital with Frieza." She said.

There was chatter on the other end of the phone. Before Christina replied again.

"I'm fine, I was awake when it occurred. The contractions are still coming a few minutes apart from each other." She said.

More chatter on the other end. Then Christina spoke again.

"No, wait until morning to come. I don't want you to leave in the middle of the night to come here. Plus, I doubt they would let you up. It isn't exactly visiting hours after all. Just, can you be sure that someone goes over and walks, and feeds Anubis while I'm here?" She asks.

Some more chattering on the other end. Before Christina talked.

"Thanks, Hun. I really appreciate it. And again, I'm sorry for calling so late. I never thought she'd pick now to come and at this time. And I also know you told me to call you when it happened." She said.

There was some more chatter between them. Christina just got off the phone just as the nurse came in.

"Hello, how are we tonight? My name is Nurse Ari and I'll be looking over you during you're stay." She said, in a cheery voice.

"We're good, but still pretty tired. Not exactly what I would call good timing." Christina said.

The nurse chuckled, "Yeah, that's not the first time I heard that from some of the women in the past that came in late like you. I have three of my own. One of them also decided to come in the middle of the night. So I know exactly what you mean."

The nurse explained as she put in her I.V. and started hooking her up to the heart monitors.

"Is this you're first?" The nurse asked them.

"Yes." Frieza said.

"How exciting, you know what you're having? Or is it a surprise?" She asked.

"We're having a little girl." Christina replied.

"That's wonderful. I have two boys and a girl. Funnily enough, it's my daughter who's the spitfire of the three." She joked.

Christina laughed a little, "Yeah, I have a feeling that will be our daughter too. She is already very active."

She really likes this nurse. Nurse Ari's bubbly personality helped put her at ease and made her feel less anxious. It helped that the woman was a Mom herself and knew what to expect. She checked Christina's vitals and placed some suckers attached to wires on her belly, to monitor their daughter's heartbeat. She also turned on a screen and used the ultrasound wand to look at the baby's position.

Nurse Ari explained that their daughter was in position and her heartbeat was strong and steady. This was a huge relief to the anxious parents to be, and the nurse was more than glad to reassure them.

Christina tried to muffle a yawn.

"Try to get some rest, because there isn't much more to do right now. This is what I call the waiting game at this stage. A doctor or myself may periodically come in to check you're cervix for dilation, and we will let you know when you're close." Nurse Ari explained.

"I'll try, though it maybe hard resting, with the contractions and all." Christina said.

"There is morphine in the I.V. drip. It will be kicking in soon to help relieve the pain." The nurse said.

Before Nurse Ari left to check on another patient, she told Christina the remote to the t.v. was on the bed to her left.

"By the way, what's you're name, Doll?" She asked.

"I'm Christina Bianchi. And this is Frieza." She said, while motioning to him.

"Nice to meet you guys. And like the orderly; Jake said. We will contact Dr. Ryland very shortly." Nurse Ari said.

They thanked the nurse before she headed out. Christina flipped on the t.v. and settled on one of her favorite movie classics; 'JAWS'. Frieza scoffed at the horrible graphics. But it didn't have a bad storyline or plot. She explained to him what the movie was about once it started.

Soon, she was dozing in and out. He stayed by her side keeping a close watch. Every now and then; Frieza would turn his attention to the ultrasound screen. A soft smile appeared on his face as he saw her move about in there. He believed Christina was right in assuming that their daughter was going to be a very active child.

10:32am...

Christina was talking with Frieza as Dr. Ryland came in. They have given her an epidural sometime ago and at this point she hardly felt a thing. The Doctor checked her cervix and looked up at the expecting parents.

"It's time. She's fully dilated now." Dr. Ryland said.

Christina looked over to Frieza, she seemed to be very nervous. He told her everything was going to be ok.

The doctor instructed Christina to sit up and move forward towards the end of the bed. She had her place her feet in the stirrups on either side. Then she told Frieza to sit behind Christina and have her lean back against his front for support. He certainly wasn't expecting this, but welcomed it all the same. Especially, when the doctor informed him that it was his role to keep Christina calm and relaxed during the birth and give her encouragement.

Nurse Ari and a couple other nurses entered the room to assist the Doctor during delivery.

"Ok Christina, when you're ready, you can start pushing. I will also let you know when to do so." Dr. Ryland instructed.

Frieza could tell she was still nervous. He grasped her hand and felt it shaking in his grip.

"It will be alright, Love. Just relax, concentrate on you're breathing, and pushing." He told her.

Christina took a few deep breaths and rested her head back against his shoulder. Then she bared down and did her first push. She still couldn't feel much with the epidural. So the only way she knew she was making any process is if Dr. Ryland tells her so.

"Good. Keep them coming just like that." The doctor said.

It was a relief, that this was turning out to be nothing like her nightmare. She was not in excruciating pain and she was surrounded by good doctors that cared for the welfare of her child and herself. It also made her feel a lot better that Frieza was here with her, helping with the delivery.

About a half hour in, Christina was starting to tire from all the pushing.

"I don't know how much longer I can keep doing this. I'm so tired." Christina groaned.

"I know, Christina. But we are getting closer. Please, just hang in there a little longer." Frieza told her.

She had his hand in a death grip and he had his other hand on her swollen belly, and was rubbing it. Christina hunched forward with another push and groaned.

"That's good, Christina, the shoulders are almost completely through. Once we get the shoulders out, it will be easier." Dr. Ryland said.

"You see, we're almost there. She will be here very soon." Frieza said.

That gave her some more encouragement. Christina paused to take a couple slow, deep breaths. Then she clenched her jaw and bore down again. Had Frieza been a normal human man, she probably would've broken some bones in his hand right about now. But her grip didn't faze him, and he continued to rub her knuckles with his thumb.

She tilted her head back with a small sob halfway through the push. Arching her back a bit at the end of it.

"The shoulders are out! A couple more pushes should do it. Whenever you're ready, go for it." Dr. Ryland said, enthusiastically.

Christina leaned back against Frieza, huffing and puffing. He took his hand off her stomach and reached over for the cup of water on the table off to the side. He held it up to her and she took a few sips. She slowed down her breathing and got ready to push again. She took a deep breath, like she was about to dive underwater. Then she hunched forward with another groan.

"That's it you got it! Keeping going!" Dr. Ryland said.

So Christina did just that. The doctor started holding the baby up as she came out.

"Ok, one more push, than you can reach down and take her. I'll tell you when." Dr. Ryland instructed.

She gripped Frieza's hand even harder and also gripped his knee with her other hand as she heaved forward.

"Good, good. Ok, grab her...now!" Dr. Ryland said, as she gently hauled the child the rest of the way up to Christina's hands as she reached down to take her.

Christina was surprised at how tiny she felt. Her hands almost wrapped around the child's torso completely. The baby appeared over her swollen stomach and came to rest on top. Frieza helped her scoop up their daughter and bring her up closer. Christina cradled the baby as she let out a tiny whimper.

Nurse Ari came over with a pale pink blanket and helped place it around the tiny infant girl. Her whimpers turned into a soft cry at being jostled a little. Tears came to Christina's eyes as she held her and looked at her for the very first time. Another nurse came over with a clamp and some surgical scissors and made a clean cut to the umbilical cord. While a third nurse stepped in after with a small suction pouch and used it to clear any fluids from her nose and mouth.

Christina soothed her and gently rocked her, and Frieza gently cupped her tiny cheek. A few moments later, the baby ceased her cries, and started softly cooing.

"She's so beautiful." Christina said, with a teary smile.

Frieza kissed the side of Christina's temples.

"Indeed, just like her Mother." He whispered.

She had Frieza's pale off white complexion, with dark pouty lips, dark rimmed eyes, and nails. She had no tail, had human like feet, and ears. The baby also had medium/dark brown hair like Christina., and when she opened her eyes; they were the same crimson color as her Father's. Their daughter was a perfect combination of the two of them.

Christina leaned in and gently kissed her little girl's head.

"Hey Kira, we love you baby girl." She said, softly.

Baby Kira looked back and forth between her parents. Before letting out a yawn and snuggled up to her Mother's warm body. Frieza wrapped his arms around them both and rested his cheek against the side of Christina's head, while looking down at their daughter.

"I know this all occurred under crazy circumstances that were not in our control. But, I can't find it in myself to regret any of it at this point." He admitted.

Christina turned her gaze from Kira to Frieza and gave him a soft smile.

"Upon seeing her, I can't regret it either." She confessed.

He leaned in and kissed her. Christina returned the kiss. After a few moments, they parted and rested their foreheads together, all while maintaining eye contact.

"We Love You." She said.

"And I Love You Both, So Very Much." He replied.

The doctor and nurses started setting up some things on the counter, giving them some alone time. They all agreed that the little family while different; looked incredibly adorable together.

Baby Kira is finally here! From here, we will see how Frieza and Christina adjust to being first time parents. Until Next Time ;)
