Hey y'all! Welcome back to 50 Nobleshipping Drabbles! This will be another T-rated chapter. There might be one or two more T-rated chapters after this, I'm not too sure how many exactly. I do know most of them will be K though.

Prompt #28: Nightmares. Rating: T (for some swearing and mentioned abuse)
"Fazher, please! I-I'm trying my best!" said a young Zigfried, cowering in fear. "That's not good enough! Everything needs to be perfect if you are to take over the company from me!" shouted a man, slamming his hand on the table in anger. "B-But-!" Zigfried quickly scurried backwards as the man stood and walked towards him. "You little-!" the man yelled, raising his hand. "F-Fazher, d-don't! P-Please! NO!"
Zigfried snapped awake and quickly sat up, panting. "Zigfried, what's wrong?" asked a voice, a pair of arms wrapping around him. Zigfried struggled against them, terrified. "Zigfried, calm down! It's me!" said the voice, Zigfired quickly recognizing it as belonging to his boyfried, the Atlantean knight Critias. Zigfried allowed the blonde to pull him into a hug, covering his face with his hands as he tried desperately to calm down.
"Zigfried, you're shaking… was it another nightmare?" asked Critias, sneering when the German nodded. Zigfried took a very shaky breath, obviously on the verge of crying. "I'll kill that bastard…." said Critias, snarling slightly. Zigfried shook his head, taking another deep breath as he moved his hands. "N-no… i-i-it's alright…" he said, his voice wavering. "Zigfried, it is not alright! Don't you realize what that man fucking did to you!?" asked Critias, shocked.
Zigfried sighed. "I understand vhat he did….. but I can't just let you kill him…" he said, leaning against the blonde. Critias growled slightly, but nuzzled the top of Zigfried's head. He understood why the German didn't want him doing anything drastic. Critias sighed. "Do you want to stay up for a bit before going back to sleep?" he asked, smiling slightly when he felt Zigfried nod. "Alright, what do you want to do until you fall back asleep?" he asked, nuzzling him again. "C-Can we just sit here?" asked Zigfried. Critias nodded. "Of course my rose…"
It took a couple of hours, but eventually Zigfried fell back asleep. Critias sighed and gently laid back down with him. I will protect you Zigfried…. He can't harm you anymore… thought Critias, slowly closing his eyes and falling back asleep with his boyfriend.
