Yellow Chapter 8

Once they are sitting down in the Pokemon Fan Club Building, the Chairman asks, "Are you familiar with the Moon Stone?"

Yellow says, "We do. It enables certain Pokemon to evolve...that one?"

"That's the one, however, there are actually eight other types of evolving stones. There is the Leaf Stone, which affects particular Grass Pokemon...the Flame Stone for Fire Pokemon, and similarly, the Water, Thunder and Ice Stones. Some stones affect Pokemon rather than the places and the time, Sun Stone, Moon Stone, Dusk Stone, Shiny Stone, and Dusk Stone."

Ash says, "We know about that, so what are you going to tell us?"

"You know that these stones normally disappear after one use, right?" The Chairman asks, and the group all nods.

"But somewhere they say, are nine special stones that do not lose their power even after enabling a Pokemon to evolve. Many people have sought them for a long time. And according to the Legend...those very nine stones lie at the bottom of Vermilion Harbor." The Chairman says.

"That sounds amazing, but what connection does this have to do with Red?" Yellow says, and the Chairman anime falls. Ash and Alice sweatdrops at the Chairman, and Ash says, "I think I know the connection. For years, most people laughed off the legend of those stones, until two years ago, something happened that changed their minds, and Red is the one that does it."

Alice says, "You mean...when we were fighting against Lt. Surge back in the S.S Anne, Red and Poli was flung into the sea, but then Poli saved his life then after quite suddenly, it becomes a Poliwrath."

Chairman says with delight, "So I got to thinking that maybe POliwhirl encountered something in the water that evolved it, maybe those nine stones of Evolution do lie at the bottom of the sea."

After leaving the Chairman, they are looking at the sea until Delia comes and asks, "So, did you get any information?"

"Well, we think that they could be lying right down there...the keys to the power of evolving." Yellow says.

Delia says, "Are you going to get those stones that are said to be underwater? They're supposed to be inside a heavily guarded sanctuary, we can't just waltz in there."

"I know, but that is why we are going to try if we can fish them out..." Ash says.

But just as Yellow tries to do it, there are a lot of Tentacruel surrounding them in order not to let them pass. "Well...I guess I shouldn't have thought it would be easy..."

Just then, what seems to be a giant Tentacruel appears and Alice says, "That might be their boss..."

Delia turns to Ash and Alice, she says, "Ash, Alice. Can you do me a favor? I want to see how much Yellow grows as a trainer."

"So you want us to see how she deals with the Pokemon?" Ash asks and she nods. "Okay..."

But as they see Yellow falling in the ocean, she notices a baby Tentacool with a tentacle stuck under a boulder. "So that's it...you came for my help." Yellow thinks, and she has Graveler lift the boulder.

But right then, Yellow has to open his mouth, and faints. It is then Ash, Alice and Delia decide to help her out as they are at the place where the Evolution stones are.

"Am I dead..." Yellow mutters as she wakes up, and Ash says, "No, you are still alive."

Yellow hears her brother's voice, and she quickly looks around, she asks, "Wait, how can we breathe...I mean..."

"It was a test as you saved the baby Tentacool." Delia says, "We brought you guys here so that you can find what you want.

They notice that the evolution stones are there, but only the Leaf, Ice, Dusk, Shiny, Sun, and Moon Stone, for the others, they are gone.

"So it seems like somebody has come here and took the stones first." Ash says, "But at least we got to see this incredible place."

"Yeah...the Legendary Vermilion underwater dome..." Alice says in awe.

After getting back to the surface, they tell the Chairman about the news, and then they start to think who would take the stone, Ash says, "Wait for a second...there is a Pokemon that evolves from different Evolution Stones...that is Eevee."

Alice says, "Yeah, and Red has one of that very rare Eevee...could Red be the one who took those stones from the ocean floor?"

Delia says, "It could be possible. Ash and Alice, can I ask you something."

"What is it, mom?" Ash asks, and Delia says, "I notice that you have three of the Elite 4 medals. Because there is no Champion in both Kanto and Johto, so the leader of the Elite 4, Lance, is the one who takes care of the league. But you told us that the Elite 4 are now targeting you, which means that even Lance might be targeting you as well."

"Damn it..." Ash mutters, "So what should we do?"

"If it is possible, I want you to defeat the Elite 4 so that you can become the Champion of both Kanto and Johto, therefore you can create the new Elite 4 to make sure the two regions are safe."

"Okay, mom. I will try to do that." Ash says as they all bid farewell to the mother as they get into the Pokemon Center to rest.

While they are resting, they decide to use Mew's powers to see what Green is doing, after all, she is the one that suggests Yellow to disguise, and she might know about the whole thing as well.

"Well. Yellow's matured quite a bit since the battle with Lorelei...although they had some help from Ash and Alice after all." Green mutters. "But will it be enough? When the Elite 4 begin to get serious...that happy-go-lucky attitude may become a liability."

Ash and Alice are hearing her thoughts, and Ash says, "It seems like Green is also worried about my sister as well."

"Yeah, maybe she'll try to help us out soon enough." Alice says.

Then they see Green heading to the Sea Cottage, which is the home of the Pokemon expert Bill. She probably has seen him with them when they are facing Lorelei, so Green thinks that she might be going to visit him to know about something.

By using Ditto, she sneaks into the house and they hear that Bill is sleeping and Green mutters, "I am sorry, Professor Oak! I'm breaking again. But this time it is for a really good cause, really!"

"And we thought she has changed for the better, I guess not..." Ash sighs.

Green is approaching the machine that she is interested, she says, "Thanks to this system Bill invented, a lot of trainers have been storing Pokemon they're unable to carry and retrieving them when necessary including you-know-who, of course. If I tap the records...anyone associated with a Pokemon transaction should come up..."

But when Green is tapping, Ash and Alice notice that Bill has woken up from the sounds she created, and then he is hiding behind the wall to send out Vulpix to stop Green.

"Easier said than done. This program is pretty complicated. Maybe I should rethink this idea. If I explain what I am after, maybe he'll be willing to help me?" Green thinks, but then she notices the Vulpix and she quickly sends out Blastoise.

"Perfect timing! I was just going to wake you up!" Green says, but much to Ash and Alice's surprise, Green ties them up and Bill yells, "What in the heck are you doing in my house, Green?"

"I am sorry, but would you have listened to what I have to say if just knocked on the door?" Green asks with an apologetic voice.

"Of course I'll listen to ya! Now untie me!" Bill yells.

"Uh-uh, can't do that." Green says, "Unless you really want a shower, I suggest you keep quiet. I have a hunch that you're going to be the Elite 4's next target. And I came here personally just to tell you that. Aren't I an engel?"

Ash and Alice facepalmed themselves as Green says, "The least you could do is let me peek at your database."

"You gotta be kidding!" Bill mutters. "It was just bad luck that you got in between Ash, Alice, Yellow, and Lorelei...but people like that don't like to leave loose ends dangling."

"W-wait a minute! How do you know about that fight?" Bill asks.

"Well, with Ash and Alice's permission, I bugged Yellow's straw hat, of course! Not that Yellow has any idea...I am also the one who asked Ash and Alice to keep Yellow a secret, and I am the one who threw you four a rope during the battle when Lorelei was about to nail you, you see. The Elite 4 are my enemies, too!" Green says.

"And why were we agreeing to this?" Ash mutters to Alice, who shrugs.

Then she talks about her goal, which is to find the person who controlled a big bird that snatched her from her true home when she was just a child, and she thinks that it might be related to the Elite 4. After a series of persuasion, Bill agrees to help Green out by having her see Red's data.

"You're right, Green! Just like you said...one of Red's Pokemon was taken outta the box recently!" Bill says and he reveals that Eevee is the one.

"So at least we know that Red is still alive! When and from which center was Eevee taken?" Green asks, but before Bill can find out, they are under attack by a Hitmonlee.

"You see what I told you?! You're being targeted already!" Green says as she tries to use Blastoise to battle the Hitmonlee. Ash notices the Hitmonlee and he says, "Hey, isn't that Burno's Hitmonlee? I remember fighting him back in the woods before we find the good gym leaders."

"Yeah..." They decide to end the call and they decide to discuss the stuff. "So we know that Lorelei and Agatha have to be a part of the plan of trying to destroy us, we haven't met Lance yet, but we think he might be the mastermind as he is the leader of the Elite 4. But what about Burno? Did he have a part in this?"

"I am not sure, but he has been trying to attack us, and we also saw his dull eyes, which means he might be under Agatha's control." Ash says. "And we also confirmed that Bruno lost to us on purpose so that they can put the tracking device on us by using the Fighting Medal."

"It is a good thing that we manage to take it off, or else things are going to be in trouble once they know where we are." Alice says. "So about being the Champion and disband the current Elite 4, what about the new Elite 4, who are you going to choose?"

"I might be thinking of disbanding the other members except for Bruno. He is innocent and he could stay in the Elite 4. But for the other 3, I am not sure, maybe we can find someone in the Johto Region?" Ash asks.

"That might be true." Alice says as they decide to rest up for what is going to happen tomorrow.

Here is a new chapter, and this is the chapter 58 and 59, where Green also appears in the story to help out the others. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be Ash's battle against Lance.
