As Naofumi looked around he once again was made knowable of the problem of having a little girl's body in a bustling street as people walking around doing their business blocked out many things from their sight that and the fact they still weren't used to the streets made them once again lost but thankfully they noticed a familiar building or more accurately they noticed a familiar sign it was of the blacksmith that they went on their first day with Myne
'Maybe he could help? He didn't seem to care about… this body, but then again that could be an act like-' paranoia began to rise within Naofumi but he tried to push it down
'It's okay, she probably be the only-' his thoughts stopped as once again Naofumi remembered the many conversations that he heard passing by and in the church the near-constant bombardment of insults thrown at him under people breath or muttering to their little gossiping friends
"Why does that girl have a shield mommy?"
"It's because it is a devil Timmy don't get near it, it might cruse you"
"Okay mommy"
"Shield devil? Shield beast? Which fits better I wonder? "
"I feel like gagging while looking at that thing"

Then you had all that he heard in the church

All of this was causing Naofumi slowly grew more paranoid but before he could go further downwards into his spiral of paranoia a voice spoke up
"Heya kid you gonna come in I see ya just standing there" shaking their this body's head shaking their this body's untamed hair in every which direction Naofumi looked up to see the Blacksmith standing before him in the doorway with a wide smile
"C'mon in," the man said turning around raising his hand doing then doing a "Follow me" with his hand quickly pushing down his paranoia with a repeating
'This is okay nothing will happen'
In their head, they entered
"So what can I do for you? I can see that the red-haired lady is gone. Did you annoy her so bad she left?" he asked guttural laughter erupting at the end of his question but it soon ended as he saw the glare Naofumi was giving him
"... never mind you don't need to tell me I can tell something happened so onto the other topic what are doing coming back to my store? Not that I mind I always welcome returning customers," he said with a grin at the end
"Ah yes I was wondering if you could help me. I was wondering if you have a place to get some sort of pants or shorts. Really anything that could cover my legs actually would you have something?" Naofumi asked
The man seemed to be thinking before answering
'Well I know I don't have anything that would fit you besides what you are wearing which you already seemed to have torn up a bit" he said while pointing out some small tears in Naofumi's armor but he then continued
"I Would recommend this very good tailor nearby" the Blacksmith then described the directions towards the tailor's shop
"Thank you, Now onto my other question do you know any barbers or hair salons nearby?"
The man seemed to think before shaking his head
"None that I would trust but you should be able to find hairbrushes and everything else you need in different markets stands it shouldn't be hard"
He said while stroking his beard
"Thank you," Naofumi said with genuine gratitude in their this body's high pitched voice
"Welp, is there anything else I can do for ya?" The man asked
Naofumi seemed to be thinking before responding shaking his head no and with that Naofumi turned and left with their this body's head held high, and tail wagging softly as they walked away
Naofumi now stood before a bland-looking building Naofumi was uncertain that this was the correct building but he pushed it aside and went to the door and opened the door and as he opened it he could hear a small bell ringing and inside the building, he could see multiple different outfits upon mannequins as he looked he could hear a voice near the front of the store
"I'll be right there" the feminine voice spoke
Nodding Naofumi walked into the store and looked further around but while he did he heard a scream which his first thought was some sort of banshee but that soon was destroyed as he suddenly felt himself rise into the air and the voice which came near the front of the store spoke
"OHLOOKATYOUARN'TYOUTHECUTESTTHING" The lady spoke rapidly without a pause and then the lady then brought him close to her chest hugging them than raising them once again the rapid motions made Naofumi feel sick
"What do you need cutie? Need a dress? What I would be glad to make you whatever you need oh and look at this hair I would need to fix that up too" the woman spoke a bit slower enough that Naofumi could actually discern what she was saying but it still was hard as she was still rapidly moving him and petting his head before she finally stopped she still had them in her arms though
"So what do you need?" she asked with a wide smile on her face
Naofumi felt a tiny bit of fear of this obvious crazed woman and was willingly doing whatever she wished if she would let him go
With somewhat slur as he still was nauseous from all the shaking and moving he answered the crazed woman
"I just came here for some sort of pants"
The woman seemed to be thinking
"Only some pants?" she seemed sad at the thought he just wanted one thing
"How about this I am going to make you some cute dresses too and I'll give you a large discount I'll also throw in taking care of your hair," the woman asked with a large smile
Naofumi was about to object as he knew he wouldn't be in this form for long but as he thought about a saying no a sudden chill came down his spine as the crazed woman gave him a look
Terrified Naofumi said yes
"Excellent, Fantastic, Amazing I just need you to stand still while I get my stuff you can drop your egg on the counter," the crazed woman said with a wide smile as she happily skipped to the back of her store
'I am in hell aren't I?' Naofumi thought as he complied with the crazed woman
Omake-A blacksmith's worry
I wonder what happened with that kid and his companion it seemed something bad happened but I wonder what it could of been? she seemed to be nice though clearly exhausted by the kid's antics I wonder if that is why? ah doesn't matter I stroke my beard once again I wonder how the kid's do... oh I probably should of warned them about her antics around cute things, ah It probably won't matter the kid doesn't take much shit so she probably won't do much. a growl then erupted from my stomach I should probably make myself something to eat and not worry about that
