Later that day, in the beginning of the afternoon, Nat went to the twins room and told them she had planned a little time out for them, with both of their parents. The twins quickly got up very excited. That ran to her and hugged her tight.

Nat: "Ok get ready I'm gonna get your dad."

Lexi: "Do we have to change ?"

Nat: "Yes, you do."

Charlie: "What do we have to wear ?"

Nat: "I'll help you with that. Let me just warn your father that we're leaving soon."

Twins: "Where are we going ?"

She walked away without answering. The twins knew that meant it was a surprise. They only wondered if their dad knew or if it was a surprise for him as well. But Steve knew. Both Nat and Steve entered the twins' room a few minutes later.

Steve: "Are you ready ?"

Charlie: "No !"

Lexi: "How do we dress ?"

Nat: "Do you wanna match or not ?"

Twins: "Of course !"

Nat: "Why do I keep asking this question when I already know the answer ?"

Steve: "I don't know hun."

Nat: "It was a r- nevermind."

They both helped the twins get dressed and when they were ready, they walked downstairs. Wanda And Vision were there, in the common room.

Wanda: "Oh, how cute !"

Vision: "Is it me or are they always matching ?"

Wanda: "Yes babe, they are. That is something usual in twins."

Vision: "I see..."

Lexi was wearing a short jean skirt and a white t-shirt and Charlie short jeans and the same white t-shirt. They were both wearing the same cap as their father. And Natasha was wearing that captain america hoodie that the twins made her buy. Steve grabbed a little backpack and put the twins' hoodies inside, in case they got cold later. Wanda took a picture of them.

Wanda: "OMG ! I have never seen a more family goals picture."

Steve: "Was that necessary ?"

Wanda: "Yes, I am making you two a bunch of pictures because who else is gonna do it if I don't ?"

Nat: "Great, we have paparazzis now."

Steve: "She will eventually stop, right ?"

Vision: "I'm not sure."

Wanda: "I still don't have a picture of you two kissing."

Nat: "Well, you won't have it now 'cause we're leaving. Come on kids !"

They got out of the Avengers tower. Steve opened the car's door for Nat and watching his dad, Charlie did the same for his sister. Nat couldn't help herself and thought of how much the kids looked like Steve. Not only physically, but also in the way that they acted. She smiled to that thought, while looking at her kids through the reflection of the car's interior rear mirror.

They finally arrived at a big bakery. It looked like a really fashionable place, one of those places where the view seems more important than the taste. Nat and Steve explained to their children what they were going to do.

Nat: "So, first we are going to try some flavours for the wedding cake."

Twins: "Do we get to try them as well ?"

Nat: "Of course."

Twins: "Cool."

Steve: "And after this we are going to the movies."

Twins: "Yes !"

They entered the shop and a nice young man approached them.

Man: "Hello family, my name is Matt, how can I help you ?"

Steve: "Hi, we have an appointment to taste some flavours for a wedding cake."

Matt: "Sure, can I have your last name ?"

Steve: "Rogers."

Matt: "Ok. I'm gonna check that and I'll be right back."

Matt walked away through a door that led him out of Steve's sight. Steve turned to face Nat and quickly kissed her. Then he looked down at the twins who were mocking him.

Nat: "Guys, it's not nice to laugh at your dad."

Twins: "But it's gross."

Steve: "Kissing is not gross. Not when two grown ups love each other."

Lexi: "Do you love mom very much ?"

Steve: "Of course I love her !"

Charlie: "How much ?"

Steve: "More than anything you can name."

Twins: "More than us ?"

Steve: "No, it's just a different type of love. I love the three of you just as much. I just love you differently than your mom."

Twins: "How is that ?"

Nat: "You'll understand when you get older. And by the way, I love you too Steve."

Matt got back. He indicated them the way to a bigger room, where a few chairs were settled around a table. All had been nicely prepared for their degustation.

Matt: "So, from what you told my coworkers on the phone we have preselected a few flavours. The samples should arrive in a minute."

Steve: "Thank you."

Matt: "So, who is this wedding cake for ? Is it for that young lady over there ?"

Lexi: "No ! I don't even have a boyfriend !"

Steve: "You better not. You're not old enough yet."

Matt: "I see... Is it for that gentleman over there ?"

Charlie: "No ! It's for mom and dad !"

Matt: "Oh, I see... So should we write that on the cake ? Mom and dad's wedding ?"

Twins: "No ! You should write their names !"

Matt: "Ok, then tell me what exactly should we write on the cake ?"

Charlie: "Nat and Cap's wedding."

Lexi: "No, we should write Romanogers wedding."

Matt: "Romanogers it is !"

Then a few waiters showed up with some samples of cake flavours. They displayed the plates around the table and placed some etiquettes with numbers in each plate. Steve and Nat took one twins each and sat them on their lap. They tried all the flavours and discussed about which one it should be.

Matt: "Well, what are we thinking about these flavours ?"

Lexi: "I like most of them."

Charlie: "Me too..."

Matt: "Ok but if you had to pick one ?"

Lexi: "Number 2 ... or number 5 I don't know."

Charlie: "Number 5 is good... But I liked number 1 as well."

Steve: *To Nat* "What do you think, love ?"

Nat: "I liked all of them. Except number 3 I hated that one."

Steve: "Oh, we agree on that, I think we can take number 3 out of the possible choices."

Nat: "If I had to pick one though I'll probably choose number 4 or number 5."

Steve: "Yeah, I'm having a hard time deciding between number 4 and number 5 as well."

Matt: "Well since we all seem to agree on number 5 I'll place it on top of the list. Followed by number 4, 1 and 2. I'll give you more time to discuss about it and I'll call you later on for the final decision. How does that sound ?"

Steve: "It sounds perfect."

Matt: "Ok, then why don't you come with me, I'll give you a copy of the designs we can make and we will discuss that next time."

Nat: "Sounds great. Thank you."

They got out of that store and decided it was time for the movie. The twins were excited. It was the first time in a really long time that they were going to the movies all together. They got there about half an hour later. While in the line, the twins picked a movie to watch and then they bought their tickets.

Twins: "Can we have popcorn ?"

Nat: "But you just ate cake."

Twins: "Please mom !"

Nat: "I don't know, ask your father."

Twins: *with a cute smile and puppy eyes* "Please dad ?"

Steve: "... Fine, but just 'cause it's a special day."

Twins: "YES ! Thanks dad !"

They enjoyed the movie and the popcorn. Even if it was a children's movie, Nat and Steve had a great time. It was important for them to spend that afternoon with their kids because they knew they weren't going to see them for a few days. Indeed, they had to leave for a mission that same night.
