Chapter 28: Route 13
Ash, Serena, Aurora, and Sheldon are now at Route 13 after the whole water route, Aurora says, "Now here we are finally in the East Tandor."
"Yeah...I can't believe what we have encountered...it really is tiring." Serena says.
Ash is talking to Squishy and Z2, Squishy says, "So you mean, in the West Tandor, there are 2 Power Plants that are exploded, and right now, Pokemon living in Vinoville Town and Route 8, as well as Route 11, have changed into Nuclear Pokemon, is that right?"
"Yeah. We have some Nuclear Pokemon with us, but we are not sure how to return them to normal..." Ash says, "You are the order Pokemon, right? Do you know how to return them to normal?"
Z2 says, "Unfortunately, we aren't able to return them to normal, but we can try making them less hostile towards you guys."
Ash and Serena are delighted as they have Squishy and Z2 purify the Pokemon, and at the same time, Serena notices a blue Pokemon with fins on its tails, she wants to capture it as she takes out the Pokeball, capturing it in one go.
"So what is the Pokemon that I have captured?" Serena asks Sheldon, and he says, "That is Selkid, you can check out your Pokedex."
Selkid: The Sea Nymph Pokemon: Water and Fairy Type. They gather together on rocky shoals and sing together in harmony. Their human-like voices can be misleading because they sound like a child lost at sea.
"Some said that mermaid legends are from this Pokemon, maybe it because of their voices." Sheldon adds.
"That's good to know." Serena says.
After managing to calm down the Nuclear Pokemon, Ash and Serena introduce all their Pokemon with Greninja and Zygarde, some of the Kalos native Pokemon are happy to see the two Pokemon again, and some of them are surprised that Ash has 2 Legendary Pokemon following them.
Now that they get to know each other, what they are going to do is training. They manage to train some Pokemon and they also try to capture some other Pokemon as well.
Ash and Serena notice two Spritzee flying past them, and Ash says, "I was just wondering when we will be able to see a Pokemon from the Kalos Region."
"Yeah, and this place seems to be filled with Fairy Type Pokemon as well." Serena says, "How about we try to capture each of the Spritzee?"
"Of course." Ash says as Ash sends out his own Nuclear Corsola and Tracton to battle against them, after that, Ash's Nuclear Corsola evolves and Ash has it use Gamma Ray to defeat them, also capturing it in the end.
Spritzee: The Perfume Pokemon: Fairy Type. In the past, rather than using perfume, royal ladies carried a Spritzee that would waft a fragrance they liked.
"I think this really is my first time commanding a Nuclear Pokemon...it really is amazing." Ash says.
"I know." Serena adds. Aurora says, "By the way, you do know that Spritzee evolves by trading while holding a Sachet, right?"
"Of course we know about that." Ash says, "But why are you mentioning this?"
"Because, there is another evolution for Spritzee, but you'll have to do it by trading while holding an Aromatic Herb." Sheldon says, "It is a good thing that I brought the machine here so you can do a small trade."
As Ash and Serena try it out, Serena's become a Aromatisse, but Ash's become a Pokemon that he has never seen before.
Aromatisse: The Fragnance Pokemon: Fairy Type. Evolved from Spritzee when traded holding a Sachet. Its scent is so overpowering that, unless a trainer happens to really enjoy the smell, he or she will have a hard time walking alongside it.
Miasmedic: The Plague Doctor Pokemon: Fairy and Poison Type. Evolved from Spritzee when traded holding an Aromatic Herb. It has the ability to both cause and cure disease. Using its claws, it injects pathogens into its foes.
"Wow, it seems that my Miasmedic is really dangerous and helpful at the same time." Ash says.
"I know." Serena adds.
Ash is also searching for a new Pokemon, and he notices a bunny-like Pokemon hopping by, and Ash says, "Sheldon? What is that Pokemon?"
Sheldon looks at the Pokemon and he says, "Oh, that is a Jackdeary. Do you want to capture the Pokemon?"
"Of course, it looks special." Ash says as he asks Greninja to help him out, but Jackdeary uses High Jump Kick and the Fairy Wind to deal a lot of damage.
"It is a Fairy and Fighting Type...this is not good for a Dark Type like Greninja." Ash says with a weak smile. "But I am not going to let that affect me. Greninja, let's go."
Ash activates the Battle Bond as Greninja transforms itself, much to Jackdeary's surprise. And after a series of Aerial Ace, it is down and Ash manages to capture it.
Jackdeary: The Jackalope Pokemon: Fairy and Fighting Type. It is related to Buneary, but is much more crafty. It conceals itself using trickery, so many people don't believe it exists.
"Though I wonder why it didn't run away when Ash attacked?" Serena asks, Aurora says, "It is because it might be interested in Ash's bond with his Pokemon."
"That might be the case." Ash says.
Ash and Aurora decide to train some Aura Weapons, because Ash has been training with a lot of them, Aurora decides to have a battle against him. During the battle, Ash has a bow and an arrow on his hands. Ash decides to shoot at Aurora, causing her to get frozen by the leg.
Aurora quickly unfreezes herself and then she tries to use Earthquake on Ash, but Ash quickly takes out a Shield and protects himself, and it is also another new weapon that Ash is surprised to use.
"And that is the Rock Shield." Sheldon says, "Looks like Ash learns another weapon to use."
"That's amazing." Serena says.
At the same time, a cat-like Pokemon is curious about the battle in front of them, so he decides to watch, and he is amazed to see how it goes. After the battle ends, Ash and Aurora take a rest as Aurora says, "You really are improving day after day. I am very proud about it."
"I know, sis." Ash says.
The cat Pokemon jump out of the bush and it tries to do something to Ash, but failed. Ash says, "A cat with four eyes? What kind of Pokemon is that?"
Pikachu and Sylveon try to approach the Pokemon, but it suddenly changes into Pikachu and causing the Pokemon to get shocked. Aurora says, "That is the Duplicat. It is the Ditto of this region."
"Duplicat? So it is capable of using Transform?" Serena asks.
"Looks like it is curious about Ash using those weapons and it tries to see if he can transform into Ash. But Ash is not a Pokemon." Sheldon says.
"That is really funny." Ash says as the cat returns to normal. Ash picks it up as it nuzzles at Ash and gives him a purr. Ash laughs and says, "You really are a cute cat."
The Pokemon then reveals that it wants to travel with them, and Ash decides to capture it in the end.
Duplicat: The Copycat Pokemon: Normal Type. This Pokémon has the ability to create an identical copy of itself or its opponent. These copies only last a few minutes before fading away.
After heading forward, they decide to take a rest as they set up tents. Pikachu and Sylveon are playing with Greninja, Braxien, and both Eshouten, normal and nuclear. They have been playing tag, and with Squishy's help, Nuclear Eshouten won't be able to infect the other Pokemon with radiation. But what the group doesn't know, is that there is a small Eevee family that has been residing nearby.
The Eevee family consists of Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon and Glaceon. The 8 of them are also relaxing while the little Eevee is running around.
While playing tag, Sylveon notices the 8 Eeveelutions, as she decides to greet them. The other 8 Pokemon notices her and they are glad to see a Sylveon in person, and the little Eevee is excited.
"What are you doing here? I think it is really unusual to see all 8 different Eevee with you." Sylveon says.
The Vaporeon says, "Are you perhaps another one that was escaped from the Sailport Town?"
Sylveon tilts her head and she asks, "What do you mean by that? I am a trainer's Pokemon."
The 8 Pokemon look at each other, and Umbreon asks, "Does your trainer related to people with big R on their uniforms?"
Sylveon notices that they are talking about Team Rocket, and she shakes heads, "No, but they have been causing trouble to our trainers."
The 8 of them sigh in relief as they tell her about how they escaped from Team Rocket in Sailport Town, but this causes her to be confused at why Team Rocket was there when they could have stalked them to Venesa City.
"There you are, Sylveon." Ash and Serena, as well as the other Pokemon find it, but they are shocked to see the whole 8 Eeveelution.
"What the? Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon and Glaceon at the same place?" Serena asks, "This is not usual."
"Yeah, do you guys have trainers?" Ash asks, and Sylveon decides to tell them about what they told him.
"So you are the ones that escaped from Team Rocket? But why is Team Rocket targeting you?" Ash asks, and the 8 of them shake their heads.
"Let's not think of that, since you escaped from bad places, you guys must be hungry, right? How about you come and have lunch with us?"
The 8 Pokemon nod in agreement, with the Eevee getting excited as she runs around, but much to their surprise, it bumps into Eshouten and it starts to evolve, and once it dies down, it becomes a new form of Eeveelution that they have never seen from before.
"What is that?" Jolteon asks as the other Eeveelutions are in a panic. The new one is also shocked at her body, and it is also in a panic. Ash quickly takes out his Pokedex and scans it.
Nucleon: The Atomic Pokemon: Nuclear Type. Evolved from Eevee at level 20 while the trainer has a Nuclear-type Pokémon in their party. One of the only non-feral Nuclear Pokémon. It's theorized that its bond with its trainer when it was an Eevee allows it to stay in control.
"So it is a Nuclear Type Evolution." Ash says, and he tries to calm the Nucleon down with the others' help. Serena says, "Maybe this is the reason why Team Rocket wants to capture them? Because they want to have a Nucleon?"
Ash says, "I don't know. I haven't seen them since we come to East Tandor. I feel that something bad is going to happen in the future..."
Then the Eeveelution decide to join the group, and they accept them since they have a common enemy.
Here is a new chapter, as for what happened to Team Rocket, let's say that there is something bad that is going to happen in the future chapters. I hope you like it and the next chapter will be Venessa City.
