Chapter 28

Angel had Leah take a day off for once, she played her brother's PlayStation he had hooked up to the television. Spike was helping Derek with something in his room having no clue she was playing on it. Eventually, they came out of the room seeing her in front of her large television. Spike saw her playing a shooting game that involved shooting creatures and demons.

"What game is this?" Spike asked her.

"Doom, I get to shoot people," Leah answered her. Spike snickered a little at that sitting next to her watching her play a little. His arm went around her while he watched. Then she handed the game off to her brother.

"Not bad," Spike kissed her cheek.

Leah got up to go catch up on laundry leaving the guys on the couch. Eventually Spike got up walking in seeing her loading the dryer then washer. "Thought you were still watching the game," Leah looked over at him.

"Need any help?"

"I'm good thanks." She finished up walking towards him. Her arms went around his neck kissing him briefly on the lips. "What?"

"Just happy I have you," he said holding her.

"You don't need to be this sweet." He looked at her leaning in kissing her.

"You deserve it." He said kissing on her.

She giggled a little bit as he kept kissing on her. "That tickles."

He lifted her up carrying her to the bed lying her down. Spike was close to her leaning in kissing her lips. They enjoyed having a day not having to worry about anything but themselves. Their moments went from being all lovey to their intimate moment of love making to holding eachother lying together under the covers.

"Was this your plan to not let me out of this room?" She looked at him.

Spike looked down at her as he was half on top of her still. "Maybe."

"Your love is eternal and you're not sick of me? Why do I find that hard to believe?" She questioned him.

He laughed a little at that knowing she was giving him a hard time. "Yet you give me crap."

"I'm suppose to." She leaned in kissing him. His arms went around her looking down at her as he moved on top.

"You're playing with fire slayer." She felt his hand along her cheek. Leah look like a goddess underneath him. Everything about her was perfect to him, the way her hair looked along with the rest of her body.

"You just want me again."

"Why wouldn't I? I could fuck you for hours," he said seductively. His words brought chills in her body completely mezmorized by him.

"You're the first vampire that is a complete sex fiend." Leah looked at him.

"I've always enjoyed it, with you I just want it so much more," he leaned in kissing her deeply. Spike did everything he could to please her making sure she got every bit of pleasure out of it along with his needs. Their intimate moments were filled with love and nothing but satisfying eachother's needs. No one made her feel good like he did to her. Their moans were loud enough to just fill the room. Her's were louder than his but she could hear him.

They finished and Spike just held her kissing on her. "You really are a sweetheart," She looked at him.

"It took you this long?" He asked her.

"Spike." she shoved him a little.

"Don't forget I had you not wanting me to stop a few minutes ago." He reminded her.

She tried getting up and he held on to her. "You and your big ego."

"Come on baby it's the truth." Leah shoved him off her getting up. Spike couldn't help but laugh a little.

Leah put on her robe going out to the front. Her brother had left seeing everything was turned off. Spike followed her out to the front only wearing his pants. "Ego or not I still love you," he kissed her cheek then getting into the fridge.

"Guess Dru never got to know you like I do?"

"She did but she only remembers what I was before. Dru doesn't know me well with having a soul." Leah nodded listening.

They enjoyed the rest if the day until they had to go out and patrol. Spike walked with her around the graveyard making sure she would be safe. Almost losing her again really made him even more hesitant to leave her alone. Leah leaned up against a large grave tomb holding a stake. "You alright?" Spike asked her noticing something was on her mind.

"Fine, even though it seems I'm the only slayer that seems to keep things in line," She said annoyed.

"The other's haven't been much use as much as they said they would be." Spike didn't like all of this to be brought on her.

"That will change," Angel appeared walking up to them with Buffy.

Spike looked over seeing Buffy with Angel annoyed with how things were going. "You have a lot of nerve coming here," Spike's tone was not too happy with her.

"Which means what?" Buffy asked him.

"If you're bloody saying you're going to help then help. You can't just come back here expect us to get along with pretty boy then leave and come as you please. Leah has been the only one who has been standing by us and here you come waltzing in like I'm ready to help now. You have no idea what we've been threw since you've been gone," Spike said angry.

Angel shoved him a little getting into his face. "Stop."

"You know it's true, admit it," Spike said pissed.

"We need the help."

"Let's just hope she doesn't bail on us," Spike said angry.

Angel knew Spike was right but took up for Buffy. "We have to work together, you getting mad isn't getting us anywhere," Angel raised his voice.

"You're whipped, every time she comes around." Angel got angry ready to punch him. Leah came in between them not giving him the chance.

"Now is not the time for this. Both of you guys calm down," Leah said annoyed.

"You're right." Buffy admitted to them. "I should have stayed and helped."

Leah cleared her throat noticing a vampire behind Buffy. She turned around kicking them away from her. They fought and Leah tossed her the stake.

"I'm not sure what is going on with you three but you need to figure it out." Leah left them standing there walking away.

"Where are you running off to?" Spike asked her.

"I'm still a cop, I got a job to do," Leah answered him.

Spike caught up with her making sure she would stay safe leaving Angel and Buffy there. Leah went to look at a few incidents that had happened making sure cleans up were happening after murders. They went to the bar for a drink before calling it a night. "Like it or not we are going to have to fight him," Leah drank her beer.

"Yes, and you are the strongest of the slayers at the moment. I'm afraid if Buffy helps she will get herself killed," Spike explained.

"Angel says we need the help. You're both strong on my account Angel can still keep an eye out."

He grabbed her hand holding it. "I hope you're right."

"I know you're pissed at Buffy but we need all the help we can get." Spike knew she was right, still it didn't help how he felt about the situation.

Leah chugged her beer almost finishing all of it. "Chug it dammit," she heard her brother behind you.

"Just like the time you had me try to chug a whole pitcher full," Leah nudged him.

"Babe look," Spike looked over showing Leah Dru.

"With her so called new man," Leah said sarcastically seeing Drake with her.

Leah started to get up and Spike stopped her. "Not yet, now isn't the time."

Derek texted Angel letting him know what was going on. "Angel said hold off for now he's in the middle of something. We will figure something out in the morning," Derek read.

"He's not doing anything at the moment I guess that's why we're holding off," Leah looked at Spike.

"It's possible," Spike looked at her. Derek left the bar with Spike and Leah heading to the apartment. They walked in with Derek shutting the door behind them.

Leah had a feeling someone was there stopping them. "Wait a second."

She pulled out her gun in her back pocket. Spike stood there a moment looking at her a second. "What?"

Leah kicked open her brother's door finding someone in there pointing the gun at them. They quickly sat up and she saw it was Riley. "What the hell?" She looked at Derek.

"I didn't know he was here," Derek confessed.

"Oh, you," Spike rolled his eyes.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Leah questioned him.

"I needed a place to go. I had a couple of vampires after me. I tried staking them and that didn't seem to work. They killed the whole group I was working for," Riley explained.

"So you came here?"

"Yeah," he admitted.

Spike wasn't too happy about him being here. Still, he agreed to let him stay here with her brother. They left the room letting Derek talk to him. Leah went into their room with Spike coming in behind her. "Things are escalating, we can't just wait around anymore," Leah said worried.

"Then tomorrow night we go out and hunt them," Spike sat next to her.

"You're right." Leah got up starting to go throgh her stuff. "Spike."

He looked up at her seeing her walking towards him. "I love you." She looked into his eyes.

"I love you too pet," She leaned in kissing him a moment.

"No I mean I really love you like really love you." She said again.

"I know you do. What's with the reminder?"

"Just want to make sure you don't forget." He smiled at that a little kissing her back giving her the reassuring look that he would never forget.
