"She's so cute..." Chie says with adoration in both tone and face. As she does, Marie eyes the Junes building with wide eyes and a small grin.
"What's this?" Marie asks flatly with her face still radiant. "It's big."
Francis answers Marie while with a miniscule grin. "It's a shopping mall. People come here to…"
Uncertain how to answer the question, Francis turns to Chie.
"Mainly it's to buy stuff, but people come here to kill time as well." Chie explains to Marie kindly.
"What do they have in there?" Marie keeps asking, with a small yet happy grin in contrast to her monotone speech.
"Huh." Chie ponders the answer. She looks to Francis.
"Everything?" Francis replies hesitantly. "Like pretty close to everything."
"Really?" Marie replies with a questioning tone, her eyes getting bigger at the same time. "You should get something to protect yourself, Chi-" Marie pauses and looks down with a sour expression. 'Chi…"
"Chie." Chie says kindly, trying to help Marie.
"This is gonna take a while." Marie grumbles with annoyance.
"Take your time." Chie says kindly while smiling.
"Okay." Marie smiles at Chie despite her blunt tone.
Francis smiles at the side, watching the girls talk.
"By the way, like I said you should buy something to protect yourself." Marie then glares at Francis. As she does, Francis notices her blushing.
"You never know with the pervert around." Marie says mockingly, her face calm while she does.
Francis smiles and says kindly. "You are really cute, Marie."
Marie looks to Chie, blushing and grinning as she does. "See, he flirts with girls when they talk mean things about him." She says with sarcasm.
"I am pretty sure you are the only one who does that." Chie says awkwardly, with a smile to match her tone.
"We can talk on the way in. Don't wanna keep Yosuke waiting." Francis says, prompting the girls to follow him.
"Woah." Yosuke's eyes widen when he sees Marie.
"Who… who's that?" Yosuke asks with embarrassment. He then turns to Francis. "Damn, Francis, you just get all the girls, don't you?"
"Marie, this is Hanamura. He's nice but annoying." Chie introduces Yosuke with sarcasm.
"Ha… Flower boy?" Marie says with confusion. As she does, Chie chuckles while Yosuke looks at Marie with fatigue.
"I guess Hanamura can be a mouthful." Yosuke sighs. He then scratches his forehead and converses with Marie with embarrassment. "Maybe you can call me Yosuke, even if that's a bit weird."
"Names are hard…" Marie grumbles with an annoyed expression.
"It's okay." Yosuke says gently, with slight embarrassment in his tone.
He then continues merrily. "So you are the Marie I have been hearing so much of? Glad to finally meet you."
"Why?" Marie asks curiously.
"Uh." Yosuke stares dumbfoundedly.
"It's an expression?" Francis explains to Marie awkwardly.
"So he's just saying stuff?" Marie responds calmly. "Does that mean he's a liar?"
"Looks like Francis isn't the only one getting destroyed." Chie says humorously while chuckling.
"Well, don't worry too much about Hanamura. Like I said, he's nice." Chie says kindly.
"But annoying?" Marie replies in a deadpan manner.
"But annoying." Chie replies in a similar manner.
"That's slander!" Yosuke shouts with annoyance.
"Marie can say mean things. But I assure you she's nice." Francis says to Yosuke.
Marie looks away from Francis while blushing. "Hmphpervert."
"Woah woah woah." Yosuke exclaims. "This is quite the scandal. What did you do to her?"
"I merely spoke the truth. That Marie is a beautiful girl that deserves to be praised." Francis says suavely.
Chie looks at Francis with dumbfounded eyes.
"You…" Francis pauses and looks away from Chie. He then looks back and speaks with the most confidence he can muster. "You are beautiful too. The most beautiful woman I have ever seen my entire life."
"Biutifu?" Chie struggles to pronounce the word.
Francis grins awkwardly. He then replies in a similar manner in Japanese. "Ya."
Yosuke turns to Marie, praising her cheerfully. "You are beautiful." As he does, he smiles politely.
"You really think so?" Marie asks Yosuke flatly while blushing.
"Yeah…" Yosuke replies awkwardly, blushing as he does.
"You only speak to Francis with that tone, huh?" Chie replies awkwardly.
"What tone?" Yosuke asks.
"I am merely speaking the truth. He is a pervert and playboy." Marie says with the scowl she used to speak with Francis.
"No creep?" Francis asks calmly.
"That too." Marie replies solemnly.
"What did you do to her?" Yosuke asks with concern in his eyes.
"Trust me. I wanna know too." Francis replies to Yosuke calmly.
As the two look to Marie, they notice her blushing and smiling.
"Isn't Satonaka enough for you?" Yosuke asks with humor.
Seeing Chie growl at Yosuke, Francis chuckles.
"Why is your face red?" Marie asks inquisitively while carrying her usual animosity.
"Chie's… special to me." Francis says blissfully. He then continues calmly.
"Anyways, I do wanna let Marie try some food, but I do wanna go and meet up with Kuma, too.
As Francis speaks, he draws everybody's attention. Seeing everybody looking his way, Francis brings up a suggestion.
"Maybe we can get something and bring it inside?"
"Sure. Let's go see if there's anything you like, Marie. I definitely recommend the teppanyaki." Chie says to Marie cheerfully before the group goes and checks the stalls.
In front of the stalls, Francis insists that he wants to buy something for Chie, who simply smiles awkwardly. She then looks away before speaking weakly.
"You don't have to…"
Francis continues bashfully, scratching his cheeks while he does. "I want to…"
Chie smiles at Francis. "Fine. But I am paying next time." Chie says cheerfully before ordering two portions of Teppanyaki.
"Only two?" Francis asks after making his own order.
"Well…" Chie replies awkwardly, continuing to blush as she does.
"Marie, what would you like?" Chie turns to Marie, who is scowling at the menu.
"This is hard…" Marie grumbles.
The Persona users spend some time helping Marie choose.
"Uh," Marie stammers as the cashier tells her about the price.
"Marie, what's wrong?" Chie asks with concern.
Marie looks at Chie flatly, asking calmly. "What's yen?"
"You don't know?!" Chie asks with surprise.
"Sorry…" Marie says with guilt, frowning as she does.
"I can pay for her." Francis says kindly.
Marie scowls at him while blushing, speaking calmly as she does. "Thanks, Pervert."
As they go to the electronics department, Chie walks next to Francis while Marie talks with Yosuke.
"So…" Chie says while averting gaze and blushing. "What did you say in English? You lost me at 'yu ah'."
"I think I wanna keep that to myself." Francis replies awkwardly while scratching his cheek.
"Is it something good?" Chie asks with embarrassment.
Francis blushes. He then blurts out in English. "Very…"
"What does 'biutifu' mean?" Chie asks while blushing.
"Uh…." Francis stammers as he feels his heart race. "It means…" He pauses.
Meanwhile, Chie looks away, walking close to him as she does.
"It means beautiful." Francis says awkwardly, burning up as he does.
After he says that, Francis notices himself walking past Chie, who seems to be frozen in place. As he checks on her, he notices her face washed in redness, a wide grin on her face with her eyes closed.
"Sori…" Chie says in English with embarrassment. As she does, Francis fans himself with his shirt, feeling a wide grin as he does.
At the back, he hears the other two talking.
Marie comments the two in deadpan tone, scowling as she does. "See, a pervert and a playboy." Marie says in a deadpan tone, scowling as she does.
"Indeed." Yosuke responds with both a flat tone and face.
The group waits for Chie to recover before going into the TV.
