28. Shotos realization
Shoto sat in his room. It had been four days since his dinner with Izuku and their families; and two days since he noticed Izukus odd behavior. He wouldn't have noticed it without Bakubitch pointing it out. Izuku had been standoffish. He didn't talk to Shoto even at lunch. But he didn't talk to Bakuhoe either. He only talked when people talked to him. That was unusual. His personality seemed to dim too. He didn't smile as much. He didn't laugh. Something was wrong. Shoto knew it. It made him miss the normal Izuku. He did notice Bakubitch feeding him. That wasn't fair. But he heard a rumor that he stopped eating for some reason. And if he truly stopped eating to cope with something, he would let Bakuhoe go. Shoto also noticed that bitch staring at him. Just glaring at him. It pissed him off. But he knew why.
That blonde explosive tempered asshole was right. Something did happen at their dinner. His siblings said some terrible things about Izuku. He still hadn't forgiven them despite Fuyumis texts. They called him terrible names and said they would never accept him. How could they do that? Could it possibly... affected Izuku? Was he hurt by their words? He seemed fine by the end of the night. Could he really still be hurting by what they said?
Shoto pulled out his phone and opened his texts.
ShotoT Are you doing okay?
ShotoT I've noticed that you've been acting strange.
ShotoT Are what Fuyumi and Natsuo still upsetting you?
ShotoT If it is, please tell me.
He sighed. He sent those three hours ago and all of them had been read. He decided to head to his room. It hopefully would be a quick trip. If not, it wouldn't be the first time he spent the night in Izukus room.
He walked to Izukus room and knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" Izuku called out from inside.
"It's Shoto," he spoke into the door, "you left me on read,".
"Oh, sorry, I forgot! What did you need?" Shoto sighed.
"Are you doing okay? You've been acting strangely,"
"I'm... I'm tired. Sorry. Let's talk later, okay," he avoided the question. Shoto was upset but hoped they could talk soon.
