She was never a humanistic, world-loving pacifist. But all this war, chaos and destruction thing? Doing them in purpose?

Who am I to judge? I kill people when I get paid.

But she never mass-killed. And none of her targets were truly innocents.

Who are truly innocent anyway?

She was in a dilemma. She couldn't get herself taking an act to support a war but this war was for the world itself. As he said.

She wouldn't care if the world crashed into dust or blown away. But being a part of the process was never one of her thoughts.

What was this devil gene? Actually she met it once, it was truly and purely scary. Thinking that the world had two of them was even more scary.

She startled with a cup of tea being slided in front of her.

It was Jin, he came to her office with tea and milk. She took a sip from the tea. It was just like how she likes it.

"This is quite nice."

"A little taste from home?" he asked referring her drunk night.

She didn't understand it since she couldn't recall it in the first place. Then it clicked. She face-palmed.

He chuckled. "Did you check the mail?"

"No, I haven't seen it." She turned back to her computer screen to find it.

There it was. A location in the city centre.

"Where is this?" she asked when he came hers side of the desk to look at the screen.

"We'll go there first to meet someone." He come closer to show it on the screen.

"What kinda meeting it's gonna be?"

"Might be kinda messy. Hopefully not."

"Great, I missed some work can be done without sitting in front of a computer."

He turned his face to her.

"Are you protesting?"

She turned to him also. Their faces were quite close.

"No, I love my job." She said it with a sarcastic tone.

He rolled her chair to himself and put his hands to armrests. Leaned over her. She didn't move. She already felt embarrassed since he reminded her that drunk night.

"You deserve a raise." he said with the same sarcastic tone. She felt things would start to heat up but she didn't want any more embrassment. She slide the chair slightly to back. "When will go there?"

"Tonight."

"Tell me more about this." After he removed his hands from her chair she turned to the computer.

"We'll make someone unpleasant. Enough to get that person join in the tournament for payback."

He was talking about Kazuya. Kazuya didn't join the tournament but he could enter anytime so he wanted him to join when the time comes.

They were riding their motorcycles very fast in the highway to the location.

When they stopped for the red lights, she saw Jin was looking at someone with a motorcycle also. The man didn't have a helmet so she could recognise him.

The man with ginger hair looked at him and her also. Then turned back to Jin. He recognised Jin too. Then they hold tight their handlebar and the engines were at full throttle. She understood what's going on. These two kids were going to race. She rolled her eyes when they flied as soon as the green light is on.

Jin and Hwoarang always had this rivalry between them since they first met. One time one of them wins and the other time the other one wins. It was always a circle and that's why they could never stop competing.

They were at full speed and constantly checking who was on lead. Then suddenly someone came between them with a motorcycle also and just passed them with a higher speed. This was no one other than his own personal bodyguard.

She reached first and couple seconds later Jin was there.

"You should have joined from the beginning so I would keep an eye on you."

"I got tired of you guys' flirting."

"Ah, don't be jealous. I would race with you too if you'd like." he was mocking.

She rolled her eyes. "Let's get in." She hold her gun and got ready when Jin rang the bell.

He lowered her gun. "Save it for the next location." So she put that away.

Then the door has opened. She recognized the man in a second. That police, the pain in her ass, Lei Wulong who wanted to arrest her since forever.

He was looking at Jin, didn't realize her just yet.

"I need to report something, Officer." Jin said with a mocking tone. She couldn't understood yet what was happening. But she could tell, Lei was obliged to pay his debt to Jin. Whatever it was.

"Ah, is it the time? Okay..." He realised her now. "You? Nina Williams? Ugh, fuck. How I would like to see you handcuffed." He said it without realizing what it might mean. She chuckled.

"I bet, a lot would want that."

Jin wasn't enjoying the joke. "Let's not waste time Wulong."

So Lei made a call and told them, the police colleagues of him she thought, to bust somewhere, probably being the location where they headed.

"It's done Kazama. Now give me that USB."

Jin give him an USB. "Be more careful next time."

He probably had blackmailed him somehow and now he was paying his debt.

They reached where they headed. It was somewhere like a depot but a very big one.

They saw some cop cars, police were putting some people inside. They waited for them to go. Then they entered. Jin was observing around carefully.

"What are we searching for?" she asked.

"Somewhere other than here." He meant some secret door to get them where they practice the real use of this place.

She started to search too. Few minutes later Jin called her from the bathroom. He found the secret passage.

It was some kind of laboratory. It was bright and very white. There was giant capsules. She didn't like this place at all. It reminded her the time when she first woke up. She felt it gets harder to breathe, both because of her traumatic flashback and the smell of the chemicals there.

"We'll leave soon. Just be careful, police arrested only those can be seen." Jin said. Probably he had difficulty breathing also.

There was no one around. Yet. They reached another door and got in. They could hear that there were se people.

After fighting, killing some men they reached a room, there was a man with a white lab coat. He startled when the two got in, one of them with a gun.

He knew both of these people. One was Jin Kazama, the young head of Mishima Zaibatsu and the one with the gun; Nina Williams, once a subject in a project which he took place in. He couldn't connect those two person.

"You know why I am here." Jin opened his hand and waited. The man with shaky hands went to the drawer and brought out a little case with password security. Put it on his hand.

"I don't know the password, I swear." the man said with a shaky voice.

"Tsk, then I have to search." Jin said and hand the case to Nina. Then he went to the computer and kick the case and broke it into pieces. The man was even more afraid now. Jin took the hard disk in it.

"Let's go." They left the room and on their way out Jin was breaking glasses, cutting cables, ruining everything. She was just following his steps, she didn't even want to look around, this place was making her anxious.

Then her gaze stopped on the giant glass tube. That was strangely familiar. Jin stopped when he saw that she stopped.

That's where I've born to this 2nd life of mine.

It was exactly where she woke up. She was awake in it not more than a minute but she remembered clearly.

She pulled the trigger and shoot a few shots, btoke it and the other things around it into million pieces and kept walking to leave here as soon as possible.

Jin looked behind her. Then he started following.

They rode back to HQ.

"So what is it?"

"We'll go somewhere tomorrow. After your match."

Right, she had a match. Against Bryan Fury.

"To where?"

"Asking too many questions."

She frowned. He was ignoring or avoiding her again.

"Can't I?"

"What was that thing at the laboratory?"

"Do you always answer with a question when you don't want to answer?"

"Have you ever been in that laboratory before?"

He did it again. She shrugged and started to walk to leave. She expected he would make her stop but he didn't say anything. So she left. Went to her room to have a little rest. The match was at noon tomorrow.

She lied in her bed. But instead sleeping she got lost in thoughts. What did they, her and Jin? Why didn't she thought of resigning back then? Is it because of her work discipline or is there something else? Why did she enjoy that little intimate moments so much?

She doesn't remember feeling any kind of emotions besides anger, violence or ambition. Not in her lost memories, not in her recent ones. Does she feel something now?

Not possible.

Him and me? Not possible. We're from different places, even different times. I've born two decades before him.

She grimaced. She didn't like this idea. She only lived two decades technically. She had been frozen. That couldn't make her 40 year old.

She hated this idea. But it was too late. The idea already had been planted in her mind.

She was getting her muscles warmer. She wore her favourite purple suit. She was ready to win.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Get ready for the next battle! Nina Williams vs. Bryan Fury!!"

They were both at arena. She was observing her opponent with crossed arms. Because he was kinda extra and annoying. Laughing like a mad evil.

"Show me what you got."

"3, 2, 1!"

The match has started. He was a strong opponent. And weird. Very weird. After come punches or kicks he would laugh. She kicked his groins very hard, yet he laughs and shouts 'Yes!'

In the final battle she beat him and step on him at the end. He was still looking like he was enjoying it.

"Ugh! Call me!" He shouted behind her when she was leaving the arena.

What a creep...She went to dressing room and started to remove her suit. She took a fast shower and wrapped herself in a towel. She was going for her clothes.

The the door has opened and she took her knife quickly and put it against the neck of the one who entered the room without even knocking.

She put the knife back when she realised it wasn't that creep.

"I thought you were that masochist creep."

"Hmh. Not the best compliment I received."

"Especially when you enter a room without even knocking."

"We have to go, are you ready?"

"Do I look like I am ready?"

Then Jin took a look at her body wrapped in a little towel. She was always looking undoubtedly hot but now he was more than impressed this time.

"You don't look like you are."

"How observant of you." She hold his arm to lead him to outside.

He pulled his arm and hold hers to pull her closer.

He was making her constantly confused. Yesterday he was getting close at first then ignoring her at night.

"Let's re-edit the matches to not match you with weird people."

She was making sure that her towel would keep its place. She was not gonna let things get intimate. They were not meant to be and this was weird. She might be old enough to be his mother in normal conditions. This thought disgusted her. She saved herself from his grip.

"I'll be ready in a few minutes."
