Locked In

So we have no vacation plans coming up although I would spend my vacation with Alexis till Festus suggested a trip to Yerba for free if they perform there for seven nights. My parents suggested I take Trina to Yerba. I was able to get Sikowitz to come with us, and Jade & Beck asked to come as well. Just before I could be excited my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Tori it's your mom. You might want to come home fast."

"Something happened to Alexis?"

"Her daycare has to close because of an outbreak."

I got worried that I ran out of the classroom, and the school to get home as fast as I can. I arrived home with worries about Alexis.

"Is Alexis okay?"

"Not entirely. Alexis got very sick at daycare."

"Is it a cold or fever?"

"Mommy itchy!"

I realized that Alexis just caught the chickenpox, and tried to scratch herself.

"Sweetie please don't scratch yourself," I said that I would have to cancel my trip to Yerba while letting the others go on without me.

So I told them about Alexis's sickness and chickenpox.

"So you can't come?" Andre said.

"Sadly I can't Alexis needs me, and if I went I would get really worried about Alexis," I told them as I put an ointment on Alexis to stop her from scratching since they are a safe distance from Alexis so that they couldn't catch her chickenpox.

"At least you guys try to have fun at Yerba." I requested them. They finally left for the airport on their way to Yerba while I stay behind to take care of Alexis.

When I was giving Alexis an oatmeal bath she looked at me upset.

"Mommy I'm sorry that I ruined your vacation."

"Oh, sweetheart it's not your fault. You got sick, and I didn't want to get worried about you while I was in Yerba. I tell you what when you get better and your chickenpox are gone I'll take you to Mystic Mountain." I told her while putting soap on her hair.

"You promise?"

"Yep."

After a few days later Alexis fully recovered from the chickenpox and looks completely healthy like her normal self. So while I don't know what's going on at Yerba I kept my promise, and we both went to Mystic Mountain for some mommy-daughter time that we had a lot of fun.

The next day they all came back.

"Hey, how was Yerba?" I asked while feeding Alexis her breakfast.

"I need to get my hair washed I can't use prison shampoo."

"Huh?" I was completely confused about what Trina said as Andre, Jade, Beck, Cat, Robbie, and Rex came into the house.

"Did something happened at Yerba?"

"Boy Vega you just dodged a bullet thanks to Alexis's chickenpox."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, it all started like this. When we arrived at Yerba we find out that it was in a middle of a war, the hotel we stayed at was terrible, Andre got bit by a vampire moth that caused him to get a swelling lump on his neck. A guy gets dragged away by Yerbian soldiers, when we perform Trina accidentally hit the chancellor's eye with a shoe flying off her foot getting her arrested and sentenced for four years, we tried to get her out but Robbie accidentally killed the chancellor's pet squid getting the rest of us put in prison, but thanks to Sikowitz we concocted a plan to escape by performing for all of Yerba with the prisoners then we successfully escaped from Yerba."

I'm very sorry that I put you all through that."

"Don't blame yourself or Alexis for not coming to Yerba. You just got lucky."

"So what did you and Alexis do?"

"Well other than giving her oatmeal baths she felt really bad for making me miss Yerba despite not knowing what happened so I told her that it wasn't her fault and promised to take her to Mystic Mountain after she gets better and her chickenpox are gone so I kept my promise, and took her after she fully recovered."

"At least she is still better," Beck said as I continue to feed Alexis.
