Byakuya stood behind the Sakura tree, observing Rukia practicing her sword.
Noting the determination in her eyes.
Emotion he had found in her eyes many years ago.
It seemed like, she still is the girl he had first loved and idealized… dreamed of… and longed to be with.
Despite the new things, he found out about her everyday.
Her flaws, weaknesses, and insecurities.
Yet, he could not do anything about it personally, without compromising their situation.
And also knowing that, its up to her to find herself and become strong.
And he should stay away.
Must.
And as he continues to watch over her, he realized one crucial fact.
She's going to be in great danger, if her potential grows.
At that thought, Byakuya turned away.
