Chapter 28: Team Wither
The bosses of Team Wither, Flora and Geo, are now at the Celadon City, since Cilan is chatting with Erika about the perfumes. After getting into the place, Cilan asks, "Flora and Geo. It is nice to see you again."
"Likewise." Flora says. "We are going to discuss the plants with Ms. Erika. Though I didn't know you were here."
Geo says, "Yeah, we could have come here together as well."
"Sorry." Cilan says, Erika says, "So you know the two of them, Cilan?"
"Of course, they are the leaders of Team Wither. We just discuss before I come here." Cilan says.
"Oh right, you are the captain of us, Grass leaders, for this 25th-anniversary festival. I didn't know that they are actually leaders of Team Wither, since what they are doing is far-related to wither."
"Yeah, we usually discuss our plants so that Ms. Erika here can help to convert them into perfumes. And here are the plants that you need."
"Thank you." Erika says, "Flora, Geo, do you want to come with me to see the perfume-making?"
"Of course, it will be our pleasure." Geo says as they enter the place. While they are making, Erika asks, "So what did you guys discuss about the festival?"
"Well, we are going to decorate the fields with flowers and other items. And we are going to set up some stands for Clothes and flowers."
"I see. That sure is interesting." Erika says.
After getting the perfume, they bid farewell to Erika and Cilan as they got a call from Delia. It turns out that when those traitors were living by the river to pollute them, they also burn down some of the woods for them to set fire. They quickly go there to make the forest return to normal.
Once they arrive at Pallet Town, they find Delia with Dawn and Serena. Flora says, "Ms. Ketchum, we got your call."
"I am glad you can come, by the way, these two are Dawn and Serena. As you know, Dawn is a famous Top Coordinator in Sinnoh, and Serena is the Kalos Queen."
"It is a pleasure to meet you." Flora says, "Can you show us the destruction site?"
"Of course, follow me." As they walk to the place, they notice the river on their way and they see some Team Aqua Grunts are cleaning them. Flora says, "The water is also polluted? What is going on there?"
"Reisa and her brother had come here a while ago, and we noticed the river was polluted and they were angry about it." Dawn says, "We tracked them and it turns out that the murderers, Misty, Brock, May, Max and Iris are the ones who have done it. They lived here a while ago so that they would find a way to steal Ash's Pokemon, but Resia manages to chase them away."
"I see...so they cut through the woods to set fire and make use of them..." Geo says as they notice the house in front of them. "So this place is where they built?"
"Yeah...but when we looked inside, it is empty. What are we going to do with this?" Delia asks.
"I must say that those are some fine woods, they are materials for building a house. Since those people are gone, I say that Ms. Ketchum, why don't you make this house your own property?"
"Are you sure about it? Since it was made from illegal wood hewing." Delia asks, and Flora says, "There is no problem, we will try to make sure that the forest that was destroyed to be back to normal."
As the two of them send out their grunts to send out their Pokemon to use Grassy Terrain, Dawn and Serena decide to know about the group more. Dawn says, "So how were you the leader of Team Wither? I mean...what you are doing is actually the opposite of withering."
"Well, that is a good question. I lived back in the Viridian Forest, it is full of greenery until the government of Viridian City wants to expand its territory and destroy our hoes to buildings."
"Not to mention that living in the urban areas are making the global warming and we don't like it. So we decide to form the Team Wither with Ash's help."
"Oh, I never thought about that...you see, we came from towns that are close to nature, Twinleaf Town and Vaniville Town."
"I know, my dream is to have cities like those towns, full of greenery and nature. That is why we decide to plant some trees and flowers in urban areas as much as possible."
"Some people don't like our work, which is also the reason why we were labeled as a criminal group as well." Geo says, "But we are used to it since we are not the only one that was being treated as evil groups."
"I know." Serena says. "But I think what you are doing is not wrong. We like flowers and trees, and we will also hate to see them being destroyed for urban convenience."
Dawn says, "And what about you, Geo?"
"Me? Do you mean how I join this group? Well...I had allergies with pollens before I join in the group." Geo says. "It is painful for me since I want to get close to nature. My parents prohibit me from doing so since it might be endangering my health. Thanks to Ash, he cures my allergy and he makes me join in the Team Wither to help saving plants and to grow them."
"So your parents agree you do this thing?" Dawn asks. "I mean, you were treated as a criminal group, and won't they be worried about you?"
"Instead, they support me from doing this as they are also nature lovers." Geo says. "I am glad to have parents like them."
"That is so nice." Serena says. Flora asks, "By the way, where are Ash, Lillie, and Alice? How come I never see them since we come here?"
"They are at the Kalos Region, they are having the meeting with Diantha about the plan for the 25th-anniversary festival." Delia says, and Flora says, "Oh yeah...I forgot about that."
"If I remember correctly, you were the ones that are going to talk with Cilan about the festival, right?" Dawn asks, "I guess that you have finished?"
"Of course, and it is nice since Cilan and his brothers treat us for a meal." Geo says. "I must say their food is really good."
Dawn says, "I know, right? Cilan is an S-Class Connoseiur, which is why he is capable of delivering good meals."
"The Grass Type leaders are Erika, Gardenia, Cilan, Ramos, Mallow and Milo. All six of them are great Grass leaders as we manage to talk about a lot."
"I see." Dawn says.
As for the traitors, they are hiding as they are angry as Max says, "Just how long are they going to torture us? When we finally find a house to rest, and they are just chasing us away and even occupy the house that we built for hours."
"Yeah...what are we going to do now?" May asks.
"Wait, if they are here, does that mean there is no one in the house? Maybe we can occupy the weakling's house." Misty says.
"Good idea." Iris says as they quickly rush there.
After building the house and restoring the forest, Flora says, "I guess our mission was a success."
"I know." Delia says, but then a sound comes from her pocket and she quickly takes out what seems to be a remote control. Dawn asks, "What is going on here?"
"This is a signal that someone broke into our house." Delia says. "Don't tell me that it is those guys who broke into our house to find Ash's Pokemon..."
"What are we going to do now?" Serena asks, "What if they occupy the house?"
"They are not going to easily occupy our house." Delia says, "But still, let's go."
As they all rush back to the house, they find that the traitors have locked the door, but thanks to Delia's remote control, they manage to get in easily and she yells at the five of them who are sitting at the desk eating their food.
"What are you five doing in my house?" Delia asks, and Brock says, "What do you think, you take our house away, so we take yours. That should be fair."
"There is no fairness when talking to you." Delia says with a cold tone. "Not only that, who permits you guys to eat here?"
"And what are you going to do about it?" Iris asks as the traitors are giving smirks. But Delia also smirks back and she says, "Trust me, I can do a lot of things."
As she takes out the remote control, the group is now tied onto the chair and Misty yells, "Hey, what are you doing to us!"
"Yeah! Let us go!" Brock yells, and Delia folds her arms and says, "Do you think Ash and I won't be setting up traps in this house for the first place? We made it because we thought that some of Ash's Pokemon betrayed him, and we were going to make them suffer. But now we know that all is just a misunderstanding, we aren't going to deactivate the traps because we know that you are going to steal this place no matter what."
Serena says, "Greed really blinds you to do such bad things...I can't believe it..."
"And what do you know, you betrayed Ash as well." Brock says to Dawn and Serena. Dawn says, "And it was the worst thing to do since we were trying to get the Pokemon away from you guys. And you guys clearly fall for it."
"So all you were doing was just throwing us like we are some sort of trash...How dare you!" Iris yells.
"Talk if you like, but we have you now." Delia says as the police come and arrest them, sending them all into the police car before driving off to who knows where.
"I am glad that is over." Flora says, but Delia says, "No, it is not. Celebi told us that they will try to escape jail multiple times, and we can't think that everything will be back to good."
"And what if they come out of jail this time, what are we going to do?" Dawn asks.
Delia says, "Let's say what their first move, and we counteract them." Delia says as the others nod. "But for now, since Flora and Geo are here, how about I make some Hibiscus Tea for you guys."
"That will be great." Dawn says as Delia goes into the kitchen as she starts to prepare some tea for her guests. After the tea is boiled, they all drink the tea, and Serena says, "They really taste good."
"Of course, but Ash is deadly allergic to it." Delia sighs. "He may be able to cure others' disease, but he can't cure his own."
"I am sorry to hear that. That's why you only give the tea to guests, right?" Flora asks.
"Of course." Delia smiles as they continue to enjoy their afternoon.
Here is a new chapter, and this one is for the Team Wither Chapter. And for the traitors, they might be arrested for now, but trust me, they will break out of jail many times for the story purpose. I know a lot of people might think that it is a flawed plot, but I just want to do that or else I am out of ideas. Anyways, I hope you like this chapter, and the next one is going to be the Electric ones.
