Chapter 28: Pirates and Beaches
Ash and the others are enjoying their trip on the boat, Ash and Lillie are watching Reisa and Reshow in the captain's room. Reshow sees a signal on the ship and he says, "There is something that is coming towards us."
"What is it?" Ash asks, and as they use the telescope, Reisa says, "Oh no...Pirates!"
"Not to mention that they are not ordinary pirates, they are pirates with Team Terror's flag as well!" Lillie says.
"Team Terror's pirates...this is bad, we can't let them hurt the passengers on the ship." Ash says. "Reshow, announce the others!"
"Okay." Reshow says as he turns on the microphone. "Attention passengers, pirates are approaching our ship, please stay inside your rooms for your safety."
The groups who are relaxing on the deck hear the announcement, and Misty asks, "Pirates? Are they serious about that?"
Lillie is looking at the telescope and they see that the pirates are firing cannons. "Cannon attack!"
Just then, the cannon hits the ship as the whole ship is shaking. Everyone is holding onto the fences tight as they are not going to fall into the water.
"Okay...I guess there really are pirates that are serious about this." Lana says.
They hear the captain of the ship yells, "We are Team Terror! Hand over Ash Ketchum and Aurora Ketchum, and no one will be hurt!"
Mark yells back, "Like we will hand over our brother and our mother to you!"
"And we are not going to let you destroy the ship which is the property of RPA." Wallace says.
"Arrgh! Then make them sink! Mates!" The captain yells as another cannon has shot towards them, causing another shake on the ship as the passengers are fearing for their lives.
Dawn asks, "What should we do?"
"Don't worry, we are here." Ash and Lillie rush to the deck and Ash says, "Wallace, Mom, can you take others inside? We will handle this."
The two nod as they take them inside. Ash and Lillie are the only ones on the deck as a group of pirates climb on the ship and surround them.
"Are you the Ash Ketchum and Aurora Ketchum that our boss wants us to find?" The captain says.
"I am Ash Ketchum, and like I would surrender myself to you! As the Champion of Sevestar, we will do our best to ensure the passenger's safety as well."
Then they all send out their water Pokemon. Ash and Lillie send out Merking and Merqueen. Together, they defeat all the Pokemon, causing the pirates to be shocked.
"No way..." "They destroyed all our crew..."
Ash says, "Lillie, let's send them back to the sea, shall we?"
"Sure." Lillie says.
The two then starts to perform a Water Pose, then both Merking and Merqueen glow.
"This is our full power!" Ash and Lillie yell. "Thunder Tsunami!/Freezing Bubbles!"
Merking uses its powers to create a giant yellow wave, while Merqueen uses the Bubble Beam and they freeze immediately. With the combination of the two moves, they send all the pirates back to the ocean.
"We will get you back for this!" The captain yells as he and the crew scurry away.
Ash and Lillie high five and recall their Pokemon. Everyone comes out as Max says, "That is really cool! Are those Z moves for Merqueen and Merking?"
"Yes. Once we land in Oceablu, you and Bonnie can get them." Lillie says.
"Sure. I will like to use the Freezing Bubbles." Bonnie laughs.
Then as the danger clears, Reshow now keep steering the ship as they keep moving on the vast ocean. Misty asks, "So what are those guys? Team Terror?"
"Team Terror is an evil team in our Sevestar Region." Ash says. "Their goal is to capture me and my Mother, but we still don't know why they want us."
"That captain might be one of the key members of the Team Terror...it is a good thing that we manage to stop them from getting close to our ship." Lillie sighs.
"And I thought that all the evil teams are destroyed." Dawn says, "I guess we have more trouble."
"Yeah." Ash says.
After a while on the ship, Reisa suddenly yells, "Here it is!"
They can see some buildings as well as a harbor in their sight. "That is Oceablu City. The destination of this ship." Lillie says.
Max says, "Wow, it looks so cool!"
Ash says, "Indeed. Oceablue City is based on Mosdeep City, except that they don't have space centers."
"Sounds cool." Merlon says.
As they leave the ship, they are at the beach walking towards the Water Ruins. On the way, they see a pink fish with hearts on its hands, a pink-colored Starfish like Pokemon with ruby on its core, and a small Lapras like Pokemon with a small shell.
"Hey, are those new Pokemon, too?" Crasher Wake asks.
"Yes, they are the pre-evolved forms of Luvdisc, Staryu, and Lapras." Mark says.
"Lovfish evolves by having two same species with different gender in the team, Starba evolves at LV11, and Lappy evolves from Trading." Reshow says.
"Amazing..." Misty says.
Lovfish: The Rendezvous Pokemon: Water Type. It likes to find partners who are in love and give blessings.
Starba: The Star Shape Pokemon: Water Type. Starba's core is the main body of this Pokemon, if it isn't damaged, it can still live.
Lappy: The Transport Pokemon: Water and Ice Type. It likes to swim around and feel the relaxation of the ocean surface.
Serena decides to capture a Lovfish so that it can become a beautiful Luvdisc, and Dawn captures the Starba to have a Starmie.
Just then, they notice an island at the sea, but to their confusion, it is getting closer and closer.
"What is wrong with that island?" Professor Oak asks.
"Well...that is not an island..." Reisa says, much to their confusion. Then the island turns out to be a giant robotic whale as it jumps and dives into the water, causing everyone to get wet.
"Um...can someone explain what just happened?" Misty asks and Ash shows them the Pokedex information.
Robofish, the Robot Fish Pokemon. Water and Steel Type. Its body is made of Armor, so the bigger preys can't eat it.
Roboshark. The Robot Fish Pokemon. Water and Steel Type. Evolved from Robofish at LV25. It is a tamed Pokemon, as it will capture the fishes and give to fishermen.
Robowhale. The Robot Fish Pokemon. Water and Steel Type. Evolved from Roboshark by trading with Metal Coat. It has a hard body to protect itself. It is also big enough to be an island.
"Are you serious? That Robowhale is too big!" Serena says.
"It is almost the same size as Groudon." Gladion says.
"Well, sometimes it is easier to travel with a Robowhale when we don't have a ship." Lillie says as she takes out the Pokeball and sends out Robowhale.
"Besides, it has a Z move, too." Ash says as he does the poses, then he yells, "Geyser Wash!"
Robowhale glows and then its spout shoots out a great geyser into the sky.
"Wow..." The others say in amazement.
"Yeah, this is a powerful move, too." Konomi says. Professor Oak decides to capture this Pokemon as it can help him with a lot of things.
Cilan looks around the place and he notices a Pokemon. He asks, "Hey Ash, is that a Tentacool over there?"
They turn and see a blue and yellow jellyfish with antennas and the tentacles are looking like small red and black wires.
"No, that is a Jellishock." Lillie says as she shows the data.
Jellispark. The Jellyfish Pokemon. Water and Electric Type. Those who use nets to catch them will get a shock of their life.
Jellivolt. The Jellyfish Pokemon. Water and Electric Type. Evolved from Jellispark at LV18. Its tentacles are like wires, people can use them to charge the devices.
Jellishock. The Jellifish Pokemon. Water and Electric Type. Evolved from Jellivolt at LV36. Jellishock can get signals thanks to their antennas, it can also gather electricity to shock others.
"Well, it kinda look like the Pokemon I want to capture." Cilan says as he throws a Pokeball, then it is successfully captured.
"Yeah, it is also one of the starters we give out." Reisa says.
"I know you said that you have 21 more starters." Lana says. "But that is so cool."
"So where are we going first? Are we going to the gym?" Misty asks.
"No, we are going to the Water Ruins." Ash says. "That way some people can obtain the Z Crystal for Water Type Pokemon.
As they arrive at the ruins, they are blocked by a wall of water. They can't move and Serena groans, "How can't we get past the place?"
"Well. We have to wake this guy up." Ash says. "Regice."
Just then, a watery Pokemon with Regice's icon on its face stands up and faces them. The Water Specialists are surprised to see the Legendary Pokemon having a different form.
Regice Sevestar Form: The Waterbody Pokemon: Water Type. In the tropical islands, Regice's body is made of cold water instead of ice.
"Wow...I have never seen a Regice like this before..." Wallace says.
"You'll be surprised. Mr. Wallace." Lillie says.
As they get Regice's permission to enter, they meet a human-like Pokemon with a mermaid tail covering its feet standing on the pool that is inside the ruins.
Watheart: The Water Pokemon: Fairy and Water Type. It is born from Water Type Positive energy. It can swim fast in the oceans and create whirlpools.
"Chosen one. Are those the new trial goers?" Watheart asks.
"Well, only these six. By the way, let Max here do the Larkrab and Merking, while Bonnie has to do the Merqueen in addition to their Wateriums." Ash says.
"Okay, I think I got it Please follow me." Watheart says.
Then as the six leaves, Misty asks, "So this is just like what we experienced in Alola?"
"Yeah. But we have special Z Crystals here, too." Ash says. "You have seen the Robowhale, Merking, and Merqueen. How about I show you another one?"
He sends out Larkrab and uses Crab Combo. Larkrab then punches fiercely as it hits the wall.
"It looks like Close Combat if you ask me." Mark says.
"But it is a Water Type Move." Reisa says. "So I guess it also works as well.
At the Team Terror's base, the man is furious that the pirates fail their mission, as their punishment, he has them steal gold from other passengers in the ocean to make up for their failed mission. "So it seems that not even the Captain can stop Ash, huh?" The man says. "Well, this is getting interesting. You can run, Ash and Aurora, but you can't hide from me forever. I will get what I want, even though we were once a family."
Here is a new chapter, and the pirates failed their mission to capture Ash and Aurora. I hope you like this chapter and in the next chapter, Ash and the others are going to show them around the Oceablu Aquarium and the other tasks such as Gigantamax and Warrior Tasks.
