"What are we going to do about him?" David asked while he sat down on the floor in the common room. Nick was still clinging onto Kurt's side and Jeff had hold of his free hand tracing comforting circles upon it with his thumb. Blaine and Wes was sitting in front of Kurt so they could see watch him. His burns was healing but extremely slow. Without the blood to speed it up it was going to take some time. Wes had already called a Max and he was more than willing to come and help Kurt.

"Feed him frequently but just enough to keep him healthy. As long as he's kicking I don't have to worry about anything." Kurt said, finally looking over to his lover and his partner.

"You've already thought about this haven't you?" Wes said smiling.

"I've had it planned out since he was thrown in that cell." Kurt said smirking back but he gaze never stayed.

"Sorry for screaming in your face." Blaine said laughing to lighten the situation but he was being deadly serious.

Kurt laughed and nodded. "I'm only forgiving you because you're pretty to look at." Blaine rolled his eyes as a smile was placed on his lips.

"God Kurt I could just kiss you." Nick mumbled into his neck. Nick still couldn't get over the fact that Kurt had did that for him but it didn't surprise him, he was with that bastard to protect him.

"I'm like frazzled Nick. Maybe when I'm healed and looking hot again I'll take you up on that offer."

"Fucking hate you." Nick kissed his neck and held a tighter grip round him.

"Hate you too."

They sat there talking for awhile until they was notified that Max was here.

"He's had to bring his little girl. The wife is always for the weekend for business." Wes said looking up to his family.

"He said he trusts Kurt." Blaine said reading the message with Wes.

"I don't think that's a good idea. I don't want her to see me looking like this. It'll scare her."

Max and Sophie walked in holding hands. Sophie was giggling at something her dad had said. She was so beautiful

"Thank you so much for coming, we wouldn't ask but I know you don't live far from here." Wes said shaking the man's hand and smiling down at the little girl, mouthing a hi to her. She giggled and waved. She was adorable

"It's no problem. How bad is it?"

"Bad enough for him not to want your little ray of sunshine to see him." Wes said looking over to Kurt who had his back turned to them sitting on the sofa

"We can watch her for you, you'll be able to see her at all times. We won't hurt her, I promise you."

Max nodded. "That would be great. She's a handful pre warning you. She's doesn't sleep well, she only needs two hours."

Wes laughed and kneeled down to the little girl. "Your daddy needs to help our friend. Would you join me over there?" Wes pointed to the table furthest away. "I would love to get to know you."

She nodded and looked up to her dad. "Go on sweetie, they are friends."

She let go of her dads hand and grabbed Wes's.

"Is your friend a vampire?" Sophie asked with a smile on her face. He looked up to max, unsure of what to say.

"She knows. I explained to her on the way. She's pretty intelligent."

"Yes he is and he's hurt. Your daddy is going to make him better."

"My daddy said Kurt is a friend. Can I meet him too?"

Kurt heart was about to melt. He was dying to turn round and see her but he couldn't. He didn't want to scare her. Hearing Wes with her was making him have maternal feelings and he shook them away.

"Of course you can but not until he is all better okay? He doesn't want to frighten you." Wes said sweetly

"I'm a big girl. I learnt to ride a bike yesterday didn't I daddy?" The little girl looked up to her dad and she grinned.

"You sure did buttercup. I'm going to go and help Kurt now okay? Wes and all these lovely people will look after you." Max said smiling at his daughter

"Okay daddy."

The little girl grabbed Wes's hand again and they started to walk to the table. Before they got to the table she pulled on Wes's hand.

"Can I see Kurt?" Sophie said trying to look around.

Wes turned to Max. He was half way to Kurt. He laughed. She wasn't going to give up. Max nodded

"Are you sure? It's pretty scary." Wes said concerned

"Yes! I'm a big girl Wes."

Wes laughed at the lisp when he said his name. She was intelligent, her father wasn't lying about that one. Wes grabbed her hand and walked over to the others.

"Oh my god she's adorable! I wanna squeeze her!" Jeff said excitedly looking at the little girl. She clapped her hands too and ran over and she started hugging his legs

"Oh my god." Jeff said laughing as she latched onto his legs. He kneeled down so he was her height.

"Hi! My name is Sophie!"

"Hi Sophie! My name is Jeff! It's lovely to meet you." Jeff said sweetly as he got another hug off her.

She walked round and introduced herself to everyone. She was to old for her age

Kurt had his head in the palms of his hands. Max had sat next to him.

"This is a bad idea Max." Kurt said quietly

"She's tougher than you think Kurt and anyway, she hasn't shut up about you all the way here." Max said truthfully laughing at his daughters antics. She was currently chatting happily to Blaine.

She walked over to her dad with a happy smile on her face. "All these lovely people are my friends now daddy!"

"That's great buttercup!" Max matched her smile.

Sophie skipped over to Kurt and placed a hand on his knee. She was trying to look at him, lowering herself down to see his face.

"Hi Kurt!" Sophie said excitedly. "My daddy said your hurt."

"It's okay Kurt." Max said looking at his new friend. He knew this would help Kurt.

Kurt moved his hands hesitantly before looking up at the little girl. The only thing he saw in her face was sadness. She Moved closer and started to climb up Kurt.

Kurt panicked and turns to Max for help.

"She's very clingy." Max said with a smirk. Kurt nodded.

The little girl was struggling so Kurt leaned over and gently lifted her up and placed her on his knee. He felt no hunger towards her. His will power to not hurt her was more strong than the lust for blood. She started staring at him squinting her eyes to get a better look. She lifted her tiny little hand up and placed it on Kurt's burned face and it made his heart leap.

"You have a big boo boo."

Kurt laughed at the girls bluntness. He liked her already.

"Does it hurt?" Sophie questioned

"No sweetheart it doesn't." Kurt said smiling at her. He was in agony but he would never admit that to the little five year old.

"Daddy said that he has to help you get better? How can he help you? You're very very hurt."

Kurt grinned. She was very smart for five years old. He knew that she would be able to understand.

"Your daddy's blood helps me. It's like medicine. It will make me all better." Kurt said happily as he accepted the tiny hand she had held out for him.

"Like a doctor?"

"Yes sweetheart. Without the help of your daddy I wouldn't be able to get better. Isn't that cool?" Kurt said as he moved a strand of her from her face.

"That's so cool!" Sophie said throwing her hands up in the air dramatically.

Kurt felt relaxed around her. It reminded him of the times spent with his dad. He really wished he could be a father

"Your daddy is like superman." Kurt said grinning at the excited look on her face.

"Wow." Her eyes was full of joy and she was beaming brightly.

She leaned over and placed two hands of kurt's face and kissed him.

"Just incase my daddy's blood doesn't work. I can kiss you better."

Kurt swallowed and looked at her. She was so innocent. Tiny little thing with not a care in the world. Kurt could feel himself welling up.

"Would you do me a big favour?"

"Yes!"

"Can you draw me a picture? I would love to have a picture up on my wall."

The little girl beamed. "Oh my god yes! I'm going to draw you the best picture ever!" She kissed him again before jumping off and running towards Wes.

Seeing Kurt with the girl made them realise how much he wanted kids. You could see it in his eyes. He was amazing with her. He was hanging onto every single one of her words. It was adorable. Max smiled in satisfaction. Sophie had broke through to Kurt, reminding him of his human life. Max and grabbed kurt's hand and pulled him up and held his wrist out.

"Do you trust me?" Kurt said tiredly. His body was in bits. Max smiled and nodded. Kurt grabbed his wrist and moved it away from his face and he stepped forward and hugged Max.

"I don't want her to see." Kurt whispered into his neck. He kissed Max's neck before gently biting down. It was sweet and caring, it wasn't anything like his other feeds. He lifted his hand up to cup his face and Max wrapped his arms round Kurt's body. To Sophie it just looked like they was hugging. Kurt moaned, why did it taste so much better like this? He had to stop. Wes could see Kurt pulling back but latching on again. God he was really trying. Wes went over and placed his hand on shoulder just by his clavicle and leaned down and he placed a kiss there, distracting him. It worked. Kurt moaned and let go but his head remained on Max's shoulder. He had healed completely, no more burns and bruises. He lifted his head up and placed a kiss to Max's shoulder.

"Thank you once again." Kurt said laughing and pulled back to look at the man who trusted him.

"Trust me Kurt it's just as enjoyable for me as it is for you." Max winked jokingly before hugging him again.

"Is Kurt better now!" Sophie shouted running over with her picture. Blaine had went to the art room quickly and gathered pencils and paper for her to keep her busy while Kurt was feeding. They was all with her keeping her occupied.

Kurt turned to Wes and he lifted his thumb up and wiped away the little bit of blood that was on his mouth. Kurt blushed and laughed nervously.

"Thank you."

Wes nodded and stepped back not wanting to scare Kurt away. The little girl came running over, nearly falling as she did so. Kurt turned around and kneeled down and laughed as the little girl tried to make her way over. The girl ran into his arms forcefully.

"Your all better now!" Sophie shouted into his ear and he laughed feeling warmth surrounding his body.

"Yes! But do you want to know a secret?" Kurt leaned in playfully and tapped his finger on her nose which made her giggle. He gestured for her to come closer and he leaned into her ear.

"You was right! Your kisses did work. Thank you so much for making me all better Sophie."

She leaned back and squeaked out in joy and wrapped her arms round Kurt.

"Magic kisses." She said holding him. Kurt laughed at her trying to squirm to her closer to him.

"Daddy! Did you hear that? My kisses made my friend all better!"

Her hold kept on Kurt but her eyes landed on her dad. Max nodded and laughed.

"Thank you Kurt." Max said smiling wildly. Kurt was amazing with children. He would make an amazing dad. Kurt smiled and nodded feeling it too.

She made grabby hands at kurt for him to pick her up and he lifted her into his arms. She was proudly showing kurt her picture and kurt was beaming at her.

"I think you've got competition Jeff." Nick said playfully nudging his boyfriend. Jeff mumbled and slapped him back.

Kurt had her balancing on his hip, supporting her weight and her tiny hand was placed on his chest by his heart.

"You're more than welcome to stay Max. We have a spare room made up. I know it's getting late now." Blaine said walking over to Max.

"Oh my god daddy! Can we stay? Me and kurty can have a sleep over!"

Max knew he couldn't say no to her. Her gaze on him made him melt.

"Is that okay with you all?" Max asked Blaine.

"Of course it is. You've did so much for Kurt. You're welcome anytime."

Max reached out and shook Blaine's hand and smiled.

"You want to stay buttercup?"

"Yes please daddy!"

They was all sitting in the common room, it was getting late. Sophie was still full of energy and Kurt and her was laying on the floor with her chatting away. Max, Wes, Blaine, David, Jeff and nick was sitting on the sofas chatting too. Sophie wouldn't leave Kurt's side.

"I have never seen her like this with anyway apart from me and her mother. She's attached herself pretty quickly. It's adorable." Max said looking over to his new friend and his daughter. He trusted Kurt. He knew he wouldn't hurt his baby. He couldn't just feel it.

"He's amazing with her. We have never seen him around kids. It seems to be really calming him." Blaine said turning to watch them together.

"We didn't even know Kurt wanted children. We know Kurt is very family orientated but we had no idea." Wes added smiling at them.

"He's such a kind soul." Max said truthfully as he leaned over and grabbed his beer. Kurt had told him to relax and enjoy himself.

"Do you think he'll still want kids now that's he's transitioned?" Jeff asked the others

"I don't know. He'll never be able to biologically have a child but there's always other options." Nick said grabbing his boyfriends hand.

They carried on talking but listened in to their conversation.

"Kurtie?"

Kurt laughed at the nickname. Jeff had drilled it into her brain. He turned his head to look at her.

"Yes sweetheart?"

The little girl looked upset. Kurt sensed it and grabbed her hand.

"We are best friends right?" Sophie she said as she looked at him. Kurt could of died. She had known him for only three hours and it touched him she felt that way about him.

"Of course we are! Forever and ever right?" Kurt shot back with a laugh. She giggled and nodded her head.

"So I can tell you a secret?"

Kurt frowned. She looked like something was eating away at her. He rolled over so he was facing her.

"You can tell me anything." Kurt said softly.

"I don't think my friends like me."

Kurt felt like he wanted to be sick. She was five years old and already dealing with things she shouldn't have to deal with.

"Why do you think that sweetheart?"

Sophie sat up and grabbed Kurt's hand trying to pull him up too. He smiled and sat herself up with her and she sat on his knee.

"They was calling me mean names Kurtie and they took my juice box away from me."

Kurt grabbed her tiny hand and held it. She was looking at him like he knew the answer to everything.

"Did you ask them why they took your juice box away from you?"

She shook her head.

"Did you ask them why they was calling you mean names?"

She should her head.

"They how will you know if you don't ask?" Kurt said tilting his head to the side. She looked at him like she was trying to think the answer through. She smiled and nodded

"You're right Kurtie." She said laughing. "I didn't think."

She hugged him round his neck and placed a wet kiss to his cheek. God this kid was adorable. She pulled back and looked at him in him.

"Did they hurt you?"

She shook her tiny head. "They didn't fight me."

"Someone doesn't have to fight you for you to be hurt sweetheart. It can hurt here." He pointed to her heart. "Next time it happens, tell your daddy or mommy okay?"

She nodded and kissed him again. "Thanks Kurtie for being my best friend."

She soon fell asleep wrapped around Kurt, her little hand was placed on his face. He was sitting upright against the wall with his eyes closed. After he knew she was asleep he gently stood with her and placed her down on a sofa, making sure her head was comfortable on the pillow and he placed a blanket over her body to keep her warm. He looked at her for a while until he heard someone talking to him.

"Are you okay beautiful?"

He turned round and noticed they was all looking him. He got embarrassed and laughed.

"Yeah sorry."

He made his way over to them and sat himself down on the free seat next to Blaine. He looked back over to her, checking she was okay.

"You're a natural Kurt."

Kurt turned his head towards Max and laughed at the double meaning. "I like kids."

"You love kids you mean." Max said back.

Kurt shrugged again and Blaine handed him a drink. Red wine. He took a sip and glanced back over to her.

Blaine felt a tingling when he had seen Kurt with Sophie. He didn't think he had ever seen Kurt so happy. Kurt didn't just want a family he craved it. He would love nothing more to have a family with Kurt one day. Blaine glanced over to Wes who was watching Kurt too with the same look in his eyes. Wes seen him glance and he smiled embarrassed and looked away.

You're allowed to look at him Wes and feel those things

Wes grabbed his wine and sat back and looked back at Blaine.

I know Blaine. It's just I still feel like I'm intruding. I know it's fine but it's a new thing for all of us

Blaine looked at Kurt next to him and he was chatting to Jeff about clothes. He rolled his eyes playfully and turned back.

You treat him with kindness, you shield him from pain and you're helping him grow. It's makes me more than happy, it makes me swell with pride. He's yours, he's mine, he's ours Wes. Okay?

Wes took a sip from his wine with a smile.

"Your wife isn't on a business meeting is she?" Kurt whispered incase Sophie could hear them.

"How did you know?" Max asked taking another sip of his beer. This man is a god send

"I just sense it. Are you okay?"

Max let out a laugh and turned towards Kurt. "The joys of going through divorce. We are trying to keep things civil for Sophie's sake but it's getting harder and harder because she's incredibly smart."

"I'm sorry Max." Kurt said sincerely. He felt bad for him. "What happened if you don't mind me asking?"

"Found her in bed with another man. Her boss in fact." Max's voice was low and hurt.

The whole room was silent. The situation was so similar to Kurt and Blaine. Kurt felt a surge of confidence.

"You should speak to Blaine. He can help."

"Kurt."

Kurt turned to Blaine and rolled his eyes. "We are all adults right? I'm okay with it if you are."

Blaine smiled and nodded and lifted his beer to his mouth and took a sip. Jeff eyes wandered to the ground. His friend was getting comfortable with it and he was proud of him.

"Have you been through it Blaine?"

"I don't want to hurt anyone so we can just say the short story." Blaine turned his head to kurt to make sure he was okay and he joined hands with him.

"Blaine caught me with that bastard who is currently having residency in the basement." Kurt said drinking the last of his wine.

Max was shocked. Kurt cheat? No way.

"He did it because he had something on me and Kurt was trying to protect me." Nick said grinning at Kurt. Kurt smiled back and they carried on.

Now that made sense to Max. He didn't seem like the type of person to do that willingly.

"We didn't know that was the reason, so Kurt left Dalton for a year and we had no contact with him." Jeff said sadly.

"He came back and as you know there was uproar. It was savage, Kurt was pretending like he didn't give a fuck." David added in

"It finally came out why he did it. After a nervous breakdown." Wes said at Kurt who rolled his eyes and laughed.

"Me and fuck face was fighting and I pushed Kurt accidentally and caused him massive injuries. We had to turn him and then Kurt lost his shit and turned off his humanity." Blaine said with years in his eyes.

"I'm guessing that was bad?" Max added looking between Kurt and Blaine.

"I paralysed someone and then snapped his neck, taunted them all, killed another five students and nearly drank myself into a coma." Kurt said looking at Max. He wasn't sure how his friend would react knowing he was around his child.

"Jesus." Max breathed out and shook his head with a laugh. "That doesn't seem like you."

"It wasn't. I was a monster." Kurt said as Wes took the glass out of his hand and filled it for him.

"He then had another breakdown." Kurt hit Wes playfully in the arm and Wes laughed. "Punched Sebastian's face to death and his humanity came back on."

"He realised that Kurt was getting sick and it was because Sebastian had connected them so whatever happened to him happened to this beautiful man right here." Blaine said before kissing him on the cheek. Kurt rolled his eyes but he loved the attention.

"Kurt spent the full day torturing himself so Sebastian would be tortured. It was fucking insane." David said grinning proudly and leaned over to high five Kurt which he accepted with a laugh.

"Sebastian broke finally and Kurt got the information out he needed. He spend hours in agonising pain so he could help me." Nick said blowing a kiss to Kurt and Kurt caught it with a laugh and placed it to his heart.

"That's when you turned up. You helped him healed his colossal burns from standing in the devils kiss for hours." Jeff laughed and pointed to the sky to indicate the sun.

"That's insane Kurt. How are you still even here?"

"Fuck knows." Kurt said throwing his head back laughing. "If there's anyone who can help you it's Blaine. Trust me, he's been through hell and back dealing with it."

"I'll take you up on that Blaine?"

"Of course man, It's no problem." Blaine said smiling at the him.

They had spent another few hours talking and laughing. It was really nice for them to spend some quality time together with no drama. Wes had already taken Max and Sophie to there room for the night. such a gentleman Kurt thought with a smile. Sleep wasn't priority anymore it was spending time together that was. They had all decided to watch a movie as sleep was well past them. Nick, David and Jeff had set up the projector and was currently arguing over a movie. Kurt felt at home and he loved every minute of it. David was laying on his stomach next to Jeff and Nick while they picked a movie and they had brought pillows and blankets down so they was all comfortable. Kurt had just got back from showering and he was watching from the door. Blaine and Wes was laughing together at something on Blaine's phone and it made his heart leap. It made him feel amazing knowing they was both happy.

"You going to come in Hummel or you just going to stand there and look pretty?" Nick said grinning at the look his was giving Wes and Blaine.

Wes and Blaine looked over too smiling at him. Kurt rolled his eyes and walked over and he sat on Blaine's lap and Wes leaned over and lifted his legs up and placed them over his. Kurt grinned into his neck as Blaine wrapped his arm round his waist and Kurt reached over to grab Wes's hand and slotting his fingers with his. Kurt moaned feeling them both touching him and he giggled.

"You need to stop moaning like that Kurt. It's dangerous." Blaine said licking his lips and his grip became tighter. Kurt squeezed his arm and made a noise in the back of his throat.

"I think he does it on purpose Blaine. He's into torturing people." Wes said quickly trying to stop the blush forming on his neck.

"I hate you both." Kurt said groaning before pulling back to look at them off.

"No you don't, you love us." Blaine said and Wes nodded in agreement while a smile was plastered on both of there faces.

"Yeah. I really do." Kurt said sweetly before turning his head to the side to kiss Blaine on the lips and then leaning over to kiss Wes too.

"They are giving me cavities!"

Nick cracked a smile and nodded. "They sure do babe."

David looked over to the three of them. He looked at Wes and he looked back. Wes beamed and spoke to him through his mind.
