-Chapter 29-Thanksgiving!-
-Judy pov-
Today is thanksgiving! Everyone is here and smiling! I love the happy vibes going around the house. It is so great to be around happy people again.
We had a open invitation to any club members who were not celebrating at home. Honestly, we got a bit more than we thought. We also got some families who didn't have money for their own. All are welcome here though.
Beth, Juniper, Amelia, and Judith are getting a lot of attention too. They are just soaking up all of the love. They love having all eyes on them. They are getting too big for my liking.
I just want them to stay little forever. Soon I won't be able to squeeze their cheeks! I need my little chunky babies! They have to stop growing!
"Stop your plan to stop the growing" I turn and glare at Alice "I have tried and failed to get everyone to stop growing"
"Maybe if we hope enough" We both chuckle and I look back at the kids "You ever think Juniper will have a bad life?"
"No" I give Alice a confused look and she shrugs "She has a support system and good people around her"
I nod and look back to them "Yeah she does" I smile and then remember something "THE TURKEY!"
-Time skip-Shelby pov-
Thanks to Judys lack of memory, she has to get a new turkey. Hopefully she finds a store that is open. I don't believe she will though. If she does the problem is then finding a turkey.
"Hey Shelby?" I look up and see Blaine with Kurt "We were asked to ask if the karaoke machine can be used?"
"Rachel?" They both smile and I nod "Of course"
"Push over" I turn and see a smiling David "Hey momma"
"Hello my handsome prince" I pull him into a hug "I've missed you!"
"Missed you too momma" We pull apart and I see he's got a shirt in his hand "Is that for me?"
He nods and hands it to me "It's from college" I grab it and look at the Ohio State logo "I got one for everyone"
"We appreciate it" I pull him into a hug again "So proud of you"
"I'm glad to hear that" he pulls back and points toward the karaoke machine "I gotta go support the boys"
I nod and watch him walk away. It's good to have the family back together. I look at the shirt again and smile wider. It's not just the logo.
'I'm a Ohio state mom'. I love the shirt a lot. I'm glad David could grow and mature here. He's got a lot of potential and I can't wait to watch his games in person.
I roll my eyes playfully when I see who has the mic. Of course Rachel is up first. She may not want Broadway but she still loves music.
-Rachel singing-
Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And everything you do
Yeah, they were all yellow
I came along
I wrote a song for you
And all the things you do
And it was called "Yellow"
So then I took my turn
Oh what a thing to have done
And it was all yellow
Your skin
Oh yeah your skin and bones
Turn into something beautiful
Do you know
You know I love you so
You know I love you so
I swam across
I jumped across for you
Oh what a thing to do
'Cause you were all yellow
I drew a line
I drew a line for you
Oh what a thing to do
And it was all yellow
Your skin
Oh yeah your skin and bones
Turn into something beautiful
Do you know
For you I'd bleed myself dry
For you I'd bleed myself dry
It's true
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine
Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And all the things that you do
Everyone claps as she hands the mic to Blaine. Blaine smiles and waves at Kurt, Sam, and David. Awwwwwww! He's gonna sing to Kurt, Sam, and David.
-Blaine singing-
You'd think that people would have had enough of silly love songs
But I look around me
And I see it isn't so
Some people want to fill the world
With silly love songs
And what's wrong with that?
I'd like to know
Cos here I go again
I love you, I love you
I love you, I love you
Ah, I can't explain
The feeling's plain to me
Now can't you see?
Ah, she gave me more
She gave it all to me
Now can't you see?
What's wrong with that?
I need to know
Cos here I go again
I love you, I love you
Love doesn't come in a minute
Sometimes it doesn't come at all
I only know that when I'm in it
It isn't silly, no, it isn't silly
Love isn't silly at all
How can I tell you about my loved one?
How can I tell you about my loved one?
How can I tell you about my loved one?
How can I tell you about my loved one?
I love you, I love you
I love you, I love you
Ah, I can't explain
The feeling's plain to me
Say, can't you see?
Ah, he gave me more
He gave it all to me
Say, can't you see?
Ah, I can't explain
The feeling's plain to me
Say, can't you see?
Ah, he gave me more
He gave it all to me
Say, can't you see?
Ah, I can't explain
The feeling's plain to me
Say, can't you see?
Ah, he gave me more
He gave it all to me
Say, can't you see?
You'd think that people would have had enough of silly love songs
But I look around me and I see it isn't so, oh no,
Some people want to fill the world
With silly love songs
And what's wrong with that?
We all clap and he goes over to the guys. I'm surprised by Santana walking to the mic. She is soon joined by Rachel with another mic. What are they gonna sing?
"I'm back" I jump as Judy pulls me into her "They got the idea to announce dinner with a song"
"Good job Jude!" I jump as Maribel joins us "You scared Shelby!"
"Stop it girls!" I jump and growl as Holly wraps her arms around my sides "Scaring is mean"
"None of you are getting kisses" They all pout and I smile "Shouldn't be mean"
-Santana-Rachel-Both-
Hey, I'm calling you back
Oh, she's been a bitch tonight!
And by bitch I mean this rain
No cabs, nowhere
So I had to put on the wig, and the heels
And the lashes and the ear
And take the train to the club
And you know the MTA should stand for:
Mothers Touching My Ass
So then I get to the club
Looking like a drowned, harassed rat
And I'm greeted, not by Miss Rose at the door
But our friend, Johnny Five-O
Yes honey, the NYPD shut down the party
So no fee for me, and I don't even know what's the tea!
So I hope you're up, girl
'Cause we are all coming over
Lock the doors, lower the blinds
Fire up the smoke machine
And put on you heels
'Cause I know exactly what we need!
Let's have a kiki
I wanna have a kiki!
Lock the doors (Tight)
Let's have a kiki (Mother)
I'm gonna let you have it
Let's have a kiki
I wanna have kiki (Dive) {Turn}
Work
Let's have a kiki
We're gonna serve
And work
And turn
And hon-hon-honey
Kiki, oh yeah
A kiki is a party for calming all your nerves
We're spilling tea and dishing just deserts when they deserve
And though the sun is rising, few may choose to leave
So shade that lid and we'll all bid adieu to your ennui
Let's have a kiki
I wanna have a kiki!
Lock the doors, (Tight)
Let's have a kiki {Mother}
I'm gonna let you have it
Let's have a kiki
I wanna have kiki (Dive) {Turn}
Work
Let's have a kiki
We're gonna serve
And work
And turn
And hon-hon-honey
It's turkey lurkey time
Tom turkey ran away but he just came home
It's turkey lurkey time
He's really home to stay, never one to roam
Let's make a wish
And may all your wishes come true
Turkey lurkey
Goosey loosey
Some for uncle Joe, (some for cousin Lucy)
Everybody gather 'round the table
Dig in, dinner's being served
Eat all the turkey you are able
Can't you see a partridge in a pear tree?
Climb up and bring it down for me
That's something I would like to see
This kiki is marvelous!
Kiki, soso
Oui, oui, non non!
Kiki, soso
Oui, oui, non non! (Non non)
Kiki, soso
Oui, oui, non non!
Kiki, soso
Oui, oui, non non!
Let's have a kiki
I wanna have a kiki!
Lock the doors (Tight)
Let's have a kiki (Mother)
Aah
I'm gonna let you have it
Let's have a kiki
I wanna have a kiki (Dive) {Turn}
Work
Let's have a kiki
We're gonna serve
And work
And turn
And hon-hon-honey
Let's have a kiki (Kiki)
I wanna have a kiki! (Soso)
Lock the doors (Oui, oui) {Tight!} (Non non)
Let's have a kiki (Hunty) {Dropper} (Kiki, soso)
Aah, Oui, oui
I'm gonna let you have it (Non non)
Let's have a kiki (Kiki)
I wanna have a kiki (Soso, oui, oui), boots, ten, queen (Non non)
Let's have a kiki (Kiki)
We're gonna serve (Soso)
And work (Oui, oui)
And turn
And hon-hon-honey (Non non)
Let's have a kiki!
"It's turkey time!" Everyone applauds and Santana bows before walking toward the kitchen "Let's get to eating!"
"I love those girls" Lucy smiles wide "I love them so much"
I smile as she skips over to them. I lean into Judy more as the other two join into our embrace. I love these three too. I love them so much.
I can't wait to see what our future still holds for us.
