I stared at Yamiaka, it had been a while since I looked at him with anything other than annoyance, and while I wanted to look at him with something positive the fact of the matter had to be addressed. "Yamiaka…" I started. "Did you, know that I'd lose the ability to feel compassion, any positive emotions while I wore that mask?" Yamiaka looked away for a moment before he said "Yes.". I looked away as well, but in anger. I turned to him and asked. "Why?". "You wanted a way to kill people, to make it easier…" Yamiaka explained. I could tell there was more to it. "Yamiaka, the truth." He stood there and muttered. "It...wasn't supposed to be like this, really. I...liked ya kid.". I gave him a suspicious look and asked. "What do you mean?". "Well, It's…" he started, and with a sigh said. "I'm...not quirk generated." He said. "Everything I've told you, it's a lie." I threw up my arms and said "Can I not trust anyone around me? Is everyone a traitor?". I was hurt, when I was at my darkest, Yamiaka was there. Ever since I met him he was always there, to find out he was manipulating me, lying to me. It was painful. "You don't understand…" Yamiaka started. "Then please tell me Yamiaka, why!?" I shouted at him. "Because I am a prisoner!" He shouted back. I looked at him with a puzzled expression. "what?" . "The bracelet…" Yamiaka said pointing to it. "It's...some sort of quirk I think." I looked at the bracelet. "It gives you powers...but it traps you, binds you to it...I am a prisoner until…". I looked at him and said "No more secrets, until what?". He looked at me guilty and said "Until I trick someone or make a deal with someone to escape my prison…". I just stood there, he was in a precarious situation. It was true, but I still felt betrayed...I thought how not long ago I'd probably try to find a way to kill him. "But it's worse…" He stated. "Every second of everyday...it tries to change me. It tries to fill my heart with darkness, to make me evil…" He paused and looked up at me. "You don't understand how long I've waited to escape this thing...how long I've had to fight to keep myself from...turning...centuries." I started to pity him, despite my anger. "I hope you know, that if I leave I'll stop having to fight to be myself, I'll be able to be free and live a good life...but as is." He just looked at the bracelet. "I'm a prisoner...and I'm sorry that I manipulated you.". I just shook my head. "I...understand." I said. "But...I want you gone." I looked at the bracelet, part of me wanted to just throw it away, to leave him trapped forever...But I was trying to be a better person. "Let's make a deal."
I teleported back to the building I was in prior to escaping, there were sirens in the distance so I flew a good ways away. Eventually I made it to a secluded area. "Yamiaka, come." I ordered. He appeared and I said. "So...all I have to do is make a deal with you, and you'll be free?". "Well, no. Not quite." He replied. "You have to say "Now you expire" and throw the bracelet. Then I will be released. But usually I'd have to trick you or make a deal with you to do so.". "That you do." I said. "I will release you, and I don't care what you do...but don't hurt Izuku, Understand?". "Never Kyo!" Yamiaka said. "I have no reason to.". I nodded and said "Then we are in accord." I then took off the bracelet, subsequently making Yamiaka disappear, and said "Now you expire." and threw the bracelet. As it hit the ground a puff of smoke appeared and after a few moments Yamiaka emerged from it. "That you Kyo!" He chimed. "Oh, after so long...I'm-" He jolted, and his skin turned a pale colour in about twelve seconds. "Ah...that...was unexpected." He uttered. I considered asking about his well being, but decided I didn't care enough to. "Just keep to the deal." I said to him. "Ah yes, of course Kyo…" he said dismissively as he conjured a sword made of darkness. "It's been so long since I've been able to use my quirk...how exhilarating." I just shook my head and got ready to go to my new home. "Goodbye Kyokia." Yamiaka said with a smile. "Thank you so much, for giving me this opportunity." I didn't respond as I teleported home.
When I got back to my lab I looked at the stim and puzzle, still sitting at six minutes and thirty seconds. "Hmm, I'm so glad I don't have to finish you." I stated as I walked to the new door. Upon opening it I was greeted by an unlikely surprise. It looked exactly like the house from LOGIC's base, the little apartment Uncle Kiyaka made for me to live in at first. He really was lazy, using the same design. But I still found it humorous. The only difference was an actual television, but instead of cable it had something much better. A note sat on it and it said "Channels include spies, tell em where to go kiddo." I smirked at it and continued to explore. The layout was slightly different, slightly bigger. The kitchen had a note in it that said "Will have a random meal three times a day.". "Don't even have to cook, excellent." I said as I looked at the fridge. I walked to my new room, there was a comfortable looking bed, much more than that old cot I had, I placed my axe in the room and decided to go try out the Television. I sat on a couch facing it and said "Turn on.". Nothing happened, after a few more words of "Activate" and the like I paused and said. "Izuku". The screen turned on and it showed Izuku in his dorm, talking to who I recognised as Iida and Uruaka. "I see." I muttered. I then said. "Musutafu." and was brought to a bird eye's view of the city. I smirked and listed off names, checking in on everywhere I'd seen. After exhausting every possible place to check I finally said "Ugoka." and the screen showed him. He was with Hatsu and Chimoka in what appeared to be a basement, Hatsu was talking to him as she worked on what appeared to be a weapon. Chimoka was sleeping on a couch and Ugoka was looking at a computer. "I should...what's the word…" I thought out loud. "Reconcile? Yeah." I deliberated. "Though, I should give him some more time...I did do a number on them last time I saw them.". It was true, last I saw them I could've killed them, would've given the chance. It would be a hard reunion but I didn't have much else to do, so I decided I'd get to it. Then I got an idea. "Yamiaka." The screen cut to Yamiaka, he was standing over something. No...he was standing over someone. I stood up from the couch for a second, but said "Ah hell...It's done now." once I sat down I just said. "Guess he lied to me about being good too. At lease Izuku is safe.". For the next month or so I tested what the television could do, firstly I found out the news by having it look at a news recording studio, wasn't the most entertaining thing to do but it got me the information I wanted. I found I could also exit out to any location the television was viewing as well, so that was useful. Izuku wanted to talk with me weekly, and honestly I was happy to be able to meet with him as anything other than adversaries. Our relationship was strained and we found many topics hard to talk about, but we did manage to make due, but today was the day. "Ugoka." I said to the television as I walked into the living room, the screen showed him standing in the basement again, it was where he usually was. Apparently him, Hatsu and Chimoka had become arm's dealers, lots of weapons and gadgets designed and built by Hatsu herself. I got ready and started to teleport into the room, despite knowing I'd be an unwelcome guest.
As I appeared I saw Ugoka activate his shield and look at me in a defensive stance. "How the hell!?" He shouted at me. "Doesn't matter, look kid if you're here for a rematch then-". He stopped when he looked at my face. "The mask…". "Is gone." I stated "Forever.". I put up my hands and said "I'm not here to fight you.". "That voice." Ugoka said to me. "Thats the voice of someone who's very tired of their lifestyle.". "Oh?" I asked him. "Yes, I know it from experience." He stated. "I figured something happened after a few weeks of no news on you." he said as he sat back down. "So what happened?". "Well." I started. "My Uncle decided to get the gang together and talk me down.". "...and that worked?" Ugoka asked me. "Yeah." I said nonchalantly. "Only took me almost killing the three of them to work but...it did.". "Hmm." Ugoka said. "Well what do you do now?". "I stay away from this world." I replied. "I have a home in that old lab of mine. Watch the world on the television, stay out of things.". "That sounds boring." Ugoka said with a chuckle. "It is." I chuckled back."But it's safer for everyone.". I looked at the ground for a moment before I asked. "Do you...hate me Ugoka?". "Well I'll tell ya this last time we met I was NOT pleased." He replied. "But now, never have.". "Hmm." I said in response. "Thanks for that, this isn't how I saw things going honestly.". "Once upon a time it wouldn't have." He said. "Before I met Omiora...heh...I would've attacked ya as soon as you got here.". I nodded as he said "I suppose meeting her mellowed me down.". "I miss her." I admitted. "Me too kid." Ugoka replied. "I miss her a lot, though I can tell you this she'd kick your ass if she knew what you did!". I laughed a bit as I said "yeah, probably.". "She'd forgive ya though, it was her way." Ugoka reflected. I got up and said "Anyway, I'm gonna go now.". "Before saying hi to Hatsu?" Ugoka asked sarcastically. "I don't think I'd survive the experience." I replied. "She's still mad you trashed her suit, but she'll get over it one day...maybe." Ugoka said. I smiled and said goodbye before I returned to my home. It was good to put that behind us.
Once I got back home I quickly said "Yamiaka." and the screen went to a dark mist. "Shit." I uttered. A few days ago this started happening, somehow Yamiaka was keeping me from spying on him, it was annoying and well...interesting. I wondered what he was doing, but wasn't worried...he wasn't allowed to hurt Izuku after all. The next few weeks consisted of me mending ties with Hatsu and Chimoka. Chimoka was relatively receptive, but Hatsu was still displeased that I existed on the same plane of existence she did. I couldn't blame her, but still it was annoying. "God damn it the kids here again?" She said as she walked into the room we were in. Ugoka, Chimoka and I were playing cards. Despite much, these people were my friends. I thought it was due to them not really being law abiding citizens. "Yep." Ugoka said without looking at her. "I hate you, and your mech destroying quirk!" She stated, though less hostile than the day before. "I know." I said to her as I played my hand. She was willing to forgive me after hearing about all the shit I went through, but she wasn't willing to forgive me about destroying her mech just yet. "So…" Ugoka said as he put his hand down. "I asked you something a long time ago." He said. "About someone you talked to." I sat there, I knew what he was talking about. "...his name is Yamiaka." I finally said. "He was...my guidance. That bracelet? He said he was generated from that.". "Said?" Hatsu asked with genuine interest. I proceeded to tell them about everything, from meeting him to setting him free. "Sounds like he had a shitty hand." Ugoka said while he stared at the cards. "Yeah no kidding." Hatsu agreed. "Be wary of him." I said "I think he's planning something...But I don't really know.". "We'll keep an eye out." Hatsu said with a small hint of anger. It wasn't as bad as it had been though, at this point our relationship felt like that of annoying siblings, but it was better than enemies. "I should go." I said. "Yes you should." Hatsu stated. "But...come back tomorrow." She said, which caught me off guard. "I have to complain to someone about my mech!" I chuckled as I started to go back home.
Once I arrived I said "Nachura park.", the television brought up a vision of the park, it was a nice way to pass the time, looking at memories...good ones. After about thirty minutes I saw Izuku appear at the bench, it was time for our weekly hang out session. "How are you?" I asked Izuku as I teleported near him. "Could be better…" Izuku muttered to me. I gave him a concerned look. I cared about few people, very few people. But Izuku was one of the people i did. "What's wrong?" I asked him. "The pro heroes…" Izuku started. "There's a...threat here, All Might said that the third user of One For All fought someone from their group before...he's a strong villain.". "A strong villain? In Musutafu? Hah." I feigned apathy, I was somewhat worried it was Yamiaka he was talking about but in the end, Izuku was safe regardless. "The last time one of these people were here...a city was almost destroyed...Pro heroes have even gotten help from a villain! Can you believe it?". "No actually." I stated. "What they do that's so useful?". "Well…" Izuku started. Apparently he can make clones. I started to laugh. "Wait...clones?" I laughed a bit more. '"Does he do so from hair?". "I-" Izuku paused. "I think so? They didn't tell me much. "Kojin you bastard." I laughed to myself. Izuku gave me a look but didn't pay it much mind. "Well, I guess it's up to the pro heroes to take care of this villain." I stated. "If he's really this much of a problem I feel bad for him, Endevour'll come for him.". Me and Izuku talked for a bit longer but he had to go, as him and his mother had to be put in protective custody. I knew this meant it wasn't Yamiaka then and my mind was put at ease. Once I returned home I decided I'd go to sleep. "It'll be interesting at least." I stated to myself as I started to fall asleep, I referred to this new villain, whoever he was. He'd be interesting to watch.
I woke up, and I could feel in my body I'd slept for a long time. I went into the kitchen and grabbed one of my daily meals from the fridge and sat down on the couch. "Guess I'll watch the news." I muttered to myself. "Doragmessen news film room.". I felt it was ironic to watch this news channel regularly, there sat my two "favorite" news anchors, and . I started to eat as I listened to them talk. "Back to news on the Musutafu situation." started. I nodded, and supposed this new villain had started his "great plan". I thought if I kept listening I'd hear his name and get a front row seat to this new villain, with a villain like this maybe some entertaining fights would occur. Once upon a time I wouldn't have indulged in watching heroes and villains fight, but there was little else to do and I'd definitely done worse, I had no qualms with it anymore. "The murderer has been rampaging through the entirety of Musutafu, killing many civilians and Heroes alike, despite the cities attempts to evacuate." I soaked this knowledge in, killed heroes? Warranted an evacuation? He'd definitely be entertaining to watch. "With his black sword and what can only be described as "Monsters" This villain has been running rampant, we can only hope that the heroes can stop him!". I paused as I heard the word "Dark sword." and wondered if it really could be Yamiaka. "Yamiaka" I muttered as I stared at the television, and low and behold, there was no dark screen...just blood...and his dark sword. I realized it was him, he was the villain who was causing all this rampage. I saw as he appeared to summon these malformed monsters from what appeared to be portals that came from the sky or the air. He was smiling, powerful. I watched as he killed hero after hero and watched as he had these things attack anyone in sight. I watched for hours, it was as I said, entertaining. I cared little for the people he tried to kill, I cared little for most things anymore. But then something grabbed my attention. "You! Murderer!" I heard a voice yell at him, it sounded familiar. "Ah, Ugoka Meiokano...How long it's been since you abandoned Kyokia!" Yamiaka said to him. It was Ugoka, he was in what appeared to be Hatsu's suit. But it was different…bigger. "...It was you...wasn't it?" Ugoka asked him, realizing who Yamiaka was. "It was you he was talking to!". "congratulations! You figured it out! What's your prize?" Yamiaka asked him, the monsters circled around Ugoka as he just growled at Yamiaka. "Aww...what's the matter?" Yamiaka asked Ugoka in a patronizing tone. I was correct, Yamiaka was in fact a liar, the good, apologetic act was just that...a facade. "This is my fault…" Ugoka stated. "I couldn't change him...Didn't even try until it was too late...But I will stop you.". Ugoka then pointed his arm at Yamika, and got in a defensive position. "Is that so?" Yamiaka asked him, clearly unimpressed. "When we learned about you, Hatsu Made a few...upgrades to this armor, remember her? Well It's the most powerful weapon on this continent! Along with my quirk as the defense, I'm gonna make sure you never hurt anyone again!" Ugoka declared. I wanted to help him, I wanted to teleport by his side, but I did promise Izuku I wouldn't fight...Ugoka was on his own. "What ever happened to not killing anyone Ugoka?" Yamiaka taunted Ugoka. "This time...I'll make an exception." Ugoka uttered to Yamiaka.
