Barbie's POV
It was such a tiring day.
"Hey Barbie, come over here," Teresa said. She was holding both the jewel and the riddles.
I walked to her.
"Eight are the leaves on my lady's grace. How many leaves are on the jewel?" Teresa brought up.
I counted the leaves.
"Eight," I replied.
Teresa nodded. "Fair sits the round of my lady's face. In that time literature, "face" means portrait. This jewel is in fact a locket."
Then she opened it, revealing the portrait of Queen Elizabeth.
"That's interesting. But how can that help us solve the mystery?" I asked.
"Well, this is how the jewel and the riddle go together," she replied.
That was a very good piece of information. But we needed more.
I sighed as I laid down on my bed.
"Hey, I know it's pretty frustrating that you have to deal with this all. But we're here to help," Teresa said.
I smiled as I hugged her.
"Thanks. I just sometimes... don't know what to do," I replied.
Teresa put her hand on my shoulder.
"It's gonna be okay," she replied.
I nodded.
I was so tired that soon I was drifted to sleep.

The next day
I woke up at nearly 8 a.m and I was super energetic because I could actually get some good sleep without having nightmares.
I got up and headed to the kitchen.
"Morning!" I said as I grabbed the bottle of milk and poured it in a bowl and added some cereal to it.
"Hey Barbie. The lawyer we'll have to talk to is Mr. Brown," Patricia said as she was eating her sandwich.
I nodded.
Cassandra shrugged. "Be careful around that guy. He's actually a criminal because he does so many illegal activities and help criminals to get away with it."
My eyes went wide.
Great! Just great!
Dealing with three criminals at the same time wasn't enough and now the four one had to jump in.
"So, we'll have to be very careful about him," Patricia concluded.
I nodded as I picked up the piece of paper that had his phone number.
I dialed the number and then I called the number.
"Hello? Mr. Brown services. How can I help you?"
I took a deep breath.
"Mr. Brown, I am Barbie Roberts. I believe you have my great grandfather's will," I said politely.
"As a lawyer I don't have the right to reveal such important thing. Good day, young lady," he replied as he hung up.
I groaned in frustration.
"What now?" I asked as I covered my face with my hands.
"Huh... that was weird. He is supposed to give you the answers. It's his job. I think he's not doing it on purpose.
I don't trust him at all," Cassandra said
I shrugged.
"Maybe he wants money or whatever," Ken suggested.
That could be a possibility.
"How about we try and figure out something from matching the jewel and the riddles?" Renee said.
I glanced at the paper once again.
It seemed very confusing.
"Barbie, remember in that small part of the will we read. It was said the last two lines say the exact location. What if it means that the two last lines of this riddle is what we're looking for," Cassandra pointed out.
I sighed.
I really didn't know.
After putting hours of time on it, I myself was tired.
Once we were about to get up my phone rang.
I shrugged as I picked it up.
"Hello?" I said.
"Miss. Roberts, I guess there was a misunderstanding. Since your great grandfather wanted the future generations to have this, I guess there wouldn't be any problem."
My eyes were widened.
It was Mr. Brown.
So I quickly put it on speaker so everyone could listen to what he was saying.
"So you're willing to give me his will?" I asked him to make sure.
"Yes, Miss. Roberts. And I believe that this is about the Roberts singularity. And it's your inheritance. So you can have the will," he explained.
Okay, that was weird.
I glanced at my friends.
"Thank you, Mr. Brown.
But when should I meet you?" I asked.
"Well, we can't meet in my office. I'll send you the location and because I am very busy with work today, I suggest that we meet at night," he replied, "and do you have the riddles and the jewel?"
That was just so suspicious!
As a spy, I know when something's up.
But he was the only one who could help.
"Yes, why?" I asked
"Because before giving you the will I must make sure that you are the true inherited. So please bring both the riddles and the jewel. See you tonight, Miss. Roberts," he said as he hung up.
I glanced at my friends.
"Wow...this dude is sus," Patricia stated.
"Right? I told you guys about him. But anyways we have to be cautious. For all we know this can be a trap," Cassandra pointed out.
I nodded in agreement.
"But why should we do?" Teresa asked.
Then an idea came to my mind.
"Guys, I have a plan," I declared.
All of them looked at me.
"I think I should go and meet up with him...but he must think I came alone," I began.
"But then we come with you as well in case anything goes wrong," Renee concluded.
I nodded. "Precisely."
Ken stood up.
"But Barbie, this is a very dangerous plan. You might end up getting hurt," he stated worriedly.
Right at the time my phone beeped.
Then I checked my massages.
"Guys, he sent the address. I should meet up with him outside the town near a river," I said, "at ten p.m."
Okay, now I was certain that something was going on.
"I'm coming with you guys as well. There's no way I am leaving you deal with this madness on your own," Ken said sternly.
I wanted to argue back. I wanted to tell him it was very dangerous. That he could get hurt.
But if I knew anything about Ken Carson is that he's so stubborn.
I sighed in defeat.
After bringing everything we needed it was nine p.m and we had to go to the place where I had to meet up with Mr. Brown.
Since we only had one car so Cassandra, Ken, Renee and Teresa picked to go with car while the rest of us decided to ride our motorcycles.
After we got there my friends went a bit farther from the place so they wouldn't be seen.
I parked my motorcycle and hid it behind a tree.
I looked around the place. But no one was there.
"Mr. Brown? Where are you?" I called.
Right then I heard footsteps behind me.
Before I could turn around something hit me hard on head.
I collapsed as my vision went black.
Time Skip
Thirty minutes later.
I groaned as I opened my eyes.
I was in a small car. I tried to get out only to find out that my hand was handcuffed to the door.
I felt there was some sort of liquid inside.
I looked down to see water!
Realization hit me.
I was trapped inside a car that was drowning.
I tried to kick the door open but not only it was locked but also something from outside was in the way.
I quickly grabbed my phone and then I called Patricia.
"Barbie? What happened? Where are you?" she asked.
"He tricked us! I'm trapped in a car that is about to drown in the river," I yelled.
"What the hell?!
Okay, calm down. Where are you?" she said.
I looked around.
"I don't know. All I know is that it's probably the river nearby and the car is about to be filled with water," I replied, "but I can send you my location using google map."
I quickly sent my location to her.
"Got it. We're on our way. Just hold on," Cassandra said over the phone.
By now the water filled half of the car.
I tried to free my hand from the handcuff using the pin I always kept but it was too dark to see anything.
At that time water reached my neck.
"Barbie, we found where you are! Hold on," Patricia said.
I held my breath before the car was filled with water.
I only had around two to three minutes to get rescued.
I tried to kick the door open or somehow save myself but it was all in vein.
Then I felt my breath was running out as I felt weaker and weaker by the second.
A few seconds later my vision was darkened as I blacked out.
A/N: Hehehehe
Oh my evilness!I feel so evil right now.
