I don't think I'll ever come back to this story again, but ironically I did leave myself an outline when I left off. Unfortunately, it's more cryptic than I remember... If I have any readers left, you might as well have a (slightly) better fleshed-out version of it. Although not really because it barely makes sense to me anymore. In retrospect this outline is just as batshit as the plot I wrote before it... Even so. Thank you, Durarara, for allowing me to experiment on you and teach me how to plot by, uh, my not plotting by the seat of my pants and still meeting my internal wordcount... If you're wondering why I lost motivation and inspiration for this fic, it's not-so-indirectly because I watched Season 2, and I didn't know what to do with all the new characters; then Season 3 was terribly anti-climactic and Izaya ACTUALLY 100% SERIOUSLY TRIED TO MURDER Shizuo, and I noped out. It's all fun and games until it's not a game anymore. Not cool. Even though I knew my versions of these characters would never do that (despite having a dumpster-trash-fire-awful relationship to begin with, no question), I lost heart, because I felt they no longer shared a fundamental trait with their canon counterparts.

By the way, I am still writing, but as I no longer trust as much, I have switched to AO3.
