Ms. Gen: Good morning beautiful students. We will continue auditions for Beauty and the Beast today!
Carlos: Ms. Gen.
Ms. Gen: Don't interrupt.
Carlos: But the paper I showed you.
Ms. Gen: Let me finish first.
(The principal walks in with a new kid who most the kids have never seen before)
Ricky: You have got to be kidding me.
Kourtney: No freaking way!
Nini: How? Why?
Big Red: Ha!
EJ: Um who is that?
Principal: This is your new drama student so make friends and help him feel welcome in our school please.
Ms. Gen: Okay sweetie, come to the front and tell us a little bit about yourself.
(He walks to the front of the class)
Ambrose: My name is Ambrose.
(He glances at Nini and starts to smirk)
EJ: What was that? Why did he do that?
Ricky: This could not be anymore expected.
Ms. Gen: You guys are being rude while he is talking. Show him the same respect you would show me.
Ricky: Sorry Ms. Gen.
EJ: Yeah, sorry.
Ambrose: I'm turning 17 on Friday and I love to dance. I also sing and as you can see act. I'm just very happy to be here from New York.
Ms. Gen: Well you can take a seat in between Nini and Ricky if you guys will please raise your hands.
(They raise their hands and he makes his way to sit next to them)
Nini: Ms. Gen what will we be doing for auditions today?
Ms. Gen: Improv, Nini and Gina will take turns with EJ and Ricky. So, EJ and Gina please make your way to the front.
(EJ goes to the front as Ms. Gen asked and they all look around for Gina)
Ms. Gen: Seems Gina didn't come today so Nini it will just be you with Ricky and EJ.
(Nini goes to the front and waits for her situation)
Ms. Gen: Seb, go!
Seb: Nini comes out in her beautiful yellow dress. After the beast and her finish dancing he realizes how he feels for her and just as he is about to tell her she asks to go see her father who has become ill.
Ms. Gen: Action!
Ambrose: What just happened?
Ricky: When we do improv she calls on one of us and we give a setting behind what they have to do improv for.
Ambrose: Oh okay I see, thank you.
Ricky: No problem.
EJ: I have practiced all night on my emotion.
(Nini steps outside the classroom and walks in gracefully as if she's wearing an actual ball gown. She curtsey's and EJ bows)
Nini: You clean yourself up well.
EJ: I could say the same for you, I mean you look absolutely gorgeous. (With a blank stare in his eyes)
Nini: Shall we dance?
(They start dancing and come to a stop. Nini looks at EJ with a gleam in her eyes and he tries to return the look, but he ends up just looking like he's constipated)
EJ: Belle, I have to tell you something...
Nini: May I go see my father?
(EJ jumps back in shock)
EJ: What?
Nini: He is very sick and I would hate for him to pass away without seeing me one more time. He needs to know I'm okay.
EJ: Belle, I...
Nini: If the answer is no I will completely understand.
EJ: Of course you can see him. I will have a bag packed for you to leave and when your gone know that you are released from my hold.
Nini: What do you mean?
EJ: You may go back home.
(EJ starts to tear up and cry)
Nini: Uh Beast, why are you crying? (giving him a confused look)
EJ: Go Belle, I will miss you.
Ms. Gen: And scene!
Carlos: Well that was definitely a performance.
Ms. Gen: Give them a round of applause.
(Everyone starts to clap)
Ms. Gen: Ricky you're next.
(He makes his way to the bottom and EJ goes back to his seat. They start of the same way as she had with EJ)
Ricky: Belle I...
Nini: What? Is it too yellow?
Ricky: No it's perfect.
Nini: Then what is it?
Ricky: You look absolutely beautiful.
Nini: You clean up nicely as well.
Ricky: Dancing is something I have cherished for as long as I can remember. So shall we?
(They dance and finish. Ricky looks at Nini as if he was about to kiss her. Nini looked at him like she was in love and that's when he began talking)
Ricky: Belle...I'm in love with...
Nini: My father is very sick.
Ricky: I do not follow.
Nini: Can I see him at least one last time before anything happens? I wouldn't want him to pass away without seeing me one last time.
Ricky: Yes, you may.
(His head drops to look at the floor as you can tell his heart sinks. Everyone starts to get invested)
Nini: Did I say something?
Ricky: No, you're perfect.
Nini: I should get going.
Ricky: I sent Ms. Pots and Chip up to help gather your things.
