So...I haven't updated in like, what, 1,5-2 months now?
Long time, I know. Had some stuff to take care off in my own life.
That's mostly been taken care of, tho. Despite that, weirdly enough, I find myself in a pinch during writing. It's not a writer's block: I know exactly what I want to happen in the next Chapter. It's all in my head, all planned out. But I just can't bring myself to bring it into words.
Some weird stuff, that's for sure. In all this time, I only managed to write around 3k words. Meaning about 1/3 of a normal Chapter of mine.
So, well aware of that fact, I decided to write yet another extra Chapter. Part of that is just to post something after 2 long-ass months, while the other part is because it might help me get back on track, writing some funny stuff related to the main story.
So yeah, this is part 1 of the extra Chapter. Gonna make it a two parts "side-story".
Now, I don't usually care for those things, but just to make sure I don't get reported or something...
Warning: contains underage drinking and strong language!
With that behind us, hope you enjoy.

"This is bad…" A blonde Pallum whispered as he looked over the scene unfolding below in the streets: the civilians running away in fear, his Third and Second Class members getting swapped aside like flies, and a thunderstorm brewing above the Labyrinth City, the thick cotton-like clouds crackling with electricity and swirling in a circle above their location.
In the centre of it all, a mean-eyed boy stood, his body moving back and forth with a unique wobbliness. Be that as it may be, however, the Pallum didn't think for one second that the boy would fall down.
As the last of his Second Class members were sent flying into the walls nearby, the boy slowly turned to look at the Pallum and the other Executives of his Familia.
"Yo…" The boy whispered just loud enough for the group to make out his words before lifting a finger towards them, a frown taking shape on his brows. "All you assholes up there...Who the hell do you think...you're looking down upon? Huh?"
"This is really bad…" The Pallum stated as he gripped the handle of his spear and looked at his comrades. They all nodded in response, and a second later, jumped off to engage the boy.
Damn it, Loki…

Earlier that day, morning….
The red-haired woman finished her drink and slammed the now empty glass onto the wooden table, by now her face matching the colour of her hair. "I'm tellin' ya...Hic...I'm tellin' ya...Hey, ya listenin' to meh?" She asked as she turned her head to the side, staring at the boy standing at attention.
The boy let out a small sigh, fighting the urge to rub his temples at the situation he was in. "I am indeed listening, Loki-sama."
As it just so happened, the Twilight Manor was more or less empty at the moment, it's Executives out on official business related to the Familia, while the other members split off in groups with their peers belonging to the same Level, diving into the Dungeon for both money and Excelia, trying to improve in the areas their last Expedition harshly showed them they were lacking in.
Fuzen himself had been training his swordsmanship in the garden as always when the Captain dropped by to inform him of the lack of Familia members present at the Twilight Manor, and to ask the boy to keep close to Loki if the Goddess decided to go out.
She was, after all, the Patron Deity of one of the strongest Familia in Orario, and having her stroll around without a bodyguard could prove fatal indeed, at least as far as Finn explained it to the boy. Understanding the severity of the task that usually fell to own of the Executives, Fuzen accepted the request.
Little did he know no amount of meditation could have prepared him for the drunken mess that was his Goddess.
"So I'm tellin' ya...Hic...Me own children hate me...Hic…"
"I see."
In response to the neutral, detached reply, Loki slammed her hands on the table in a slight fit of anger. "Don't ya I see me, lil' Fuzen! Ain't this...Hic...ain't this the moment ya supposed to comfort me?!"
"Define...comfort." Fuzen asked in return, confused at his Goddess request. Granted, he knew the dictionary meaning of the word, however he had little experience comforting anyone. The best solution to staying alive in a fight was to know your own limits and how far you can surpass them. Believing yourself stronger than you actually were was a one-way ticket to the grave. Thus, something as useless as comforting, as sugar-coating, had no place in his life. "What is it that Loki-sama desires of me?"
"Tell me I'm...Hic...tell me I'm wrong, ya tactless oaf!"
"I cannot do that."
"Whyyyy?!"
"Because I can only speak for myself. I cannot read the mind of the other members of the Familia. I do not know if they hate you or not, Loki-sama."
"Damn it, Fuzen! Stop makin'...Hic…Stop makin' so much sense all the time!"
"I'm...sorry?"
Loki wasted no time and filled her glass with the expensive bourbon she took out of her stash, gulping down half of the glass in one single motion, slamming the glass onto the table again. "Unless it's some kind of celebration, no one...Hic...No one ever drinks with meh. Neither Finn, nor Mama. As for Gareth?" Loki took a moment to finish the glass she had just poured for herself before continuing. "At least he agrees sometimes, but...I can see...Hic...I can see he always tries to leave as soon as possible…"
"…I see."
"Ya' all always leave meh alone, and you won't even share a drink with meh…Especially that Riveria..." Loki continued as she poured herself another glass. "That's hurts, ya know?"
"...I see."
"Ahh, I'm talkin' to a wall…" The Goddess voiced as she raised the glass and took another drink of it, then placing it down. Her half-open red eyes stared at the floor for a couple of moments, then she slowly raised them to look at Fuzen, her cheeks by now the same colour as her hair and eyes. "...Share a drink with me."
Whatever it was a request, order or question, Fuzen could not tell. Her expression was simply that hard for him to read at the moment, as was her tone. Had she possessed Ki, he could have tried to read the vibrations and pulses of said Ki to figure it out, but like all Deities, Loki had no Ki, and thus that wasn't an option. "...I refuse. I am underage."
"Come on, I'm not askin' ya to...Hic...to drink the whole bottle. Just a sip~"
"No."
"...Not even if I order you?"
"Loki-sama is intoxicated. I will follow no orders from a person who is drunk. As I am the only clear-headed individual within this room, I shall have my judgment be the decisive factor to any requests Loki-sama has."
"...Such a stick in the mud…" The Goddess muttered as she threw the boy a stink eye. A moment later, the unexpected happened, and Loki let her forehead hit the table with a loud Thud sound. Afterwards, her body began to twitch slightly as a sound reached Fuzen's ears. "*Sob*...*Sob*...None of my children want to...Hic...to share a drink with meh...*Sob*…"
...Wait what?
The question popped inside his mind as Fuzen tried to make heads and tails of the situation. Crying was an alien action to him. Granted, he obviously read the dictionary meaning of this action, and was aware of what emotions caused one to begin crying. But right now, he was unsure of why his Goddess began to cry.
"Should I...uhh...give you a moment...or some...thing…?" He asked, ready to step out of the room if Loki had given any sort of gesture or sound of approval. However, she had not done so, instead simply sobbing quietly.
...Great. Just great...I have need of an adult at most once or twice a year, and when I do, there is none around me. I am only a swordsman, damn it. This mess of a Deity is beyond my understanding.
Having no idea what to do, Fuzen decided to simply stand-by as before, not uttering a single word. With a bit of patience, Loki would either stop or fall asleep or do something else than what she was doing. The awkward moment would only continue for a short while, that he was sure of.
"...*Sob*…"
"…"
"*Sob*...*Sob*…"
Twitch.
"...*Sob*…"
Twitch. Twitch.
"…...*Sob*..."
"Tsk! I'll do it, ok? I'll fricking do it, so stop thy whining already!" His eye already twitching with annoyance, Fuzen shouted the words at his Deity, her sobbing having irked him far more than he expected.
Loki wasted no time and instantly raised her head from the table. It was then that Fuzen's gut told him something was wrong. "Oh, you will, will ya~?" The reply came fast and lively, a stark contrast to the teary tension from before. Indeed, something in the back of his mind told the boy to take back his words.
But he couldn't.
Duty and honour both demanded that he must keep his word, no matter what. And his word had already been given.
"...That is what I said, is it not?"
"Indeed it is~"
"...Where...are all the tears you just shed? Did they vaporize into thin air? I don't think the room temperature is that dry and hot, though..."
"Hehe, Deities can't actually cry, you see?"
"No, I'm very certain I have seen crying Deities before."
"They were not real Deities~." Loki replied as she poured the bourbon into both glasses on the table. She filled hers a bit over half, and the other glass only about one fifth.
...Now that I think about it, why did she take out two glasses when she first began drinking…? The boy thought to himself as suspicion began to rise within his mind.
"Now, take a seat. Come on~" Loki said as she pushed the second glass further away from her, and extended her hand to the couch opposite of her. "Come on, hurry~"
"...I may have agreed to it, but I never specified the amount. I will only have a sip. Is that clear, Loki-sama?"
"Of course, of course~ I haven't forgotten you are still just eleven years old, you know? However, despite not having Abnormal Resistance, the Falna on your back already elevated you above a normal kid. Though this is alcohol, I doubt it will have any effect on you, if any at all."
"...Indeed. I will still only have a sip."
"Sure, sure~ Now sit down, and share a drink with your Goddess~"
Sigh...Damned be my code of honour…
With little options left, Fuzen simply decided to let the Goddess have her way this time around. Thus, he sat down opposite of her, and looked at the barely filled glass she pushed towards him.
Then he grabbed it, and drank.

Finn, Bete and Gareth had just returned to the Twilight Manor after they each took care of their duties as Executives. Surprisingly enough, they all met by coincidence outside, each of them having finished their tasks at around the same time, and decided to walk back together. Their destination was the same, after all.
Before long, they would need to hold a meeting to discuss the changes in their Familia. More precisely, the improvement which their Familia members gained after the last expedition. Based on that, they could go on to create new squads to entrust tasks to, or raise the existing groups and allow them more high risk, high reward missions and Quests.
We need to compare everyone's Statuses to the ones before the expedition...Sigh...Today is going to be a long day...Finn thought to himself as he imagined the stacks of papers that awaited him. Luckily, however, this was one of the tasks the other Executives needed to partake in, as well. Comparing the Status of all the members of Loki Familia was a bit too time-consuming for him alone, after all, considering all of the tasks he had to take care of as the Captain.
"Loki should be in her office, right?" The Pallum asked as he and the other two went up the stairs and took a left towards Loki's office. To his side, he heard Bete sniffing whatever smell he picked up on before making a disgusted face.
"Smells like alcohol. She's probably out cold, that drunk." The werewolf said, as unsurprised as Finn and Gareth.
"Oh boy. I guess our local swordsman is not very happy, then."
Finn chuckled as he imagined what Fuzen must have looked like, having been entrusted with taking care of their Goddess while she was in this state. He could even imagine the young boy filing an official complaint to him stating taking care of a drunk is not part of his duties.
At least, that is what he believed.
But as soon as Finn opened the door to Loki's office and stepped inside, those thoughts disappeared into thin air. To the far end of the room, where the cosy corner was, as Loki called it, Finn noticed the two individuals he was searching for.
Loki herself was out cold, face first into the floor while her right leg was still atop the table positioned between the two couches. In her hand was an empty glass, it's contains spilled all over the floor.
On the opposite side, Fuzen was sitting with his head hung low, forearms resting on his knees and an empty glass held in his right hand.
In-between the Goddess and the swordsman, four thick-glassed bottles were laid across the table, three of them empty while the fourth still one-fourth full with whiskey.
The sight was unusual enough for the new occupants of the room to be taken aback, all three of them standing still at the door for a couple of moments in disbelief. Granted, all of them were aware of how Loki could be, but Fuzen on the other side…
"...Did that idiot make the runt drink with her or something…?" The werewolf was first to speak as the three approached the couches, Gareth checking on Loki while Finn slowly approaching the seemingly asleep Fuzen, one hand raised to touch the boy. Amusingly enough, an incredible angry frown was plastered on the boy's forehead, testimony that he never relaxed, not even in his sleep.
"Hey there. Fuzen, you ok-?" Just before he could touch the boy and shake him, Finn's perspective changed, no longer looking down towards the boy but instead up at the ceiling. A moment later, he realized his gut as well as his thumb tried to warn him, but it had been too late. Unconsciously, he moved along with the movement and jumped before even realizing it.
A quick flip and twist in the air, and the Pallum managed to land perfectly on his feet, by now roughly three meters away from where he stood last.
Did I just...get thrown away? Finn thought to himself as he slowly turned around, looking at the boy sitting on the couch.
"Don't...touch me. And stop...Hic...shouting, asshole. I can hear you...just fine." Fuzen replied as he lifted his gaze and met Finn's eyes. If there were any words capable of describing his current expression, then they would be pure, unadulterated scowl, annoyance and irritation, as well as a frown out of this world. "...I'm thirsty…" Fuzen muttered as he brought the empty glass he was holding to his lips, but alas, it was just that: empty.
Noticing this a moment later, the boy held the glass close to his face and narrowed his eyes, his eye twitching once realizing there was nothing inside of it. "Stupid crap…" Then he threw the glass over his shoulder into the wall behind him, and then looked at the only bottle still standing on the table in front of him, leaning forward and grabbing it.
"Fuzen, wait-" Finn tried to stop the boy, but he was too late. In a single, fluid motion, he brought the bottle to his lips and drank the little alcohol still inside, his face twisting into pure disgust after the last drop had been consumed.
"Blegh...The hell's this crap…? It ain't juice at all!" Now enraged, Fuzen brought his arm back and threw the empty bottle into the wall in front of him, the glass shattering into countless splitters upon impact. Wiping his mouth with his sleeve, the boy stoop up in a single motion, wiggling from side to side yet maintaining his footing.
"...Boy, you...uhh...you alright there?" The Dwarf asked after exchanging a quick look with Finn and Bete, both just as surprised as him at their swordsman's behaviour.
"...It's god-damned...hot in here. Who the hell...Hic...closed the window?" Fuzen replied with a grunt, turning his body and moving towards the window behind Loki's desk, grabbing the knob and trying to push the windows open.
However, it did not work.
After all, he still had to turn the knob downwards, and then pull then windows open instead of trying to push them. But in his current state, such knowledge was lost to him. He continued to try and open them. One time. Two times. Three times.
"Tsk."
But that the limit of his patience. Turning around, he grabbed the chair Loki used to sit down at her desk by the top rail and hurled it through the window, the chair and broken window both flying into the garden below.
"...Stupid, insolent crap…"
Behind him, the three Executives looked on with dumbfounded surprise at the change in Fuzen's personality, his current words and actions simply that alien to them compared to his usual, collected self.
Then, laughter erupted. "Hahaha, the runt's all messed in the head now! Haha, talk about low tolerance to alcohol! I can't-! Hahaha, my sides hurt!" Bete said through his laughter, holding his stomach as he hunched forward. Little did he knew that would be his fatal mistake.
SMACK!
The sound that followed the laughter had been a powerful one indeed, so loud and impactful both Finn and Gareth flinched as it reached their ears, their five senses already elevated above what was humanly possible and thus far more sensible to such sounds.
Shortly put, Fuzen had slapped Bete.
However, it had been anything but a simple slap. Instead, this palm-meets-face action was so powerful, it echoed through the now windowless room, the paintings on the walls and the broken glass shards on the window frame both jumping up as the shock-wave reached them.
It had been a slap which almost reached a divine state, so powerful it brought the Level 5 Werewolf to the ground, the man falling down motionlessly like a stone.
Bete had been, quite literally for that matter, slapped unconscious.
"...Hey, asswipe. Who the hell do you think...Hic...you're laughing at? Huh?"
The remaining two Executives looked in awe at what happened, not sure what to say or do in regards to this new Fuzen they got to see. It was unprecedented, and without a doubt, unthinkable, that the boy who showed such discipline and poise would talk and behave like this.
"...Listen, boy." The Dwarf moved first after a couple of silent moments passed, approaching Fuzen slowly after throwing one last glance over at the unconscious Werewolf on the Floor. Fuzen himself raised his head and squinted his eyes at the approaching man, as if confused who he was. "You're not yourself right now. And believe me, I know 'bout it, being a Dwarf and all. So, how 'bout you sit down and-! Aghh, what the-?!"
But his approach proved a mistake, as a hand grabbed him by the beard, yanking him left and right. "Why the hell's your hair...grow in the wrong direction?" The intoxicated boy asked as he looked at the beard with utmost interest, yanking it back and forth.
"Boiii! Arrrgghhh! Not the beard! Not the beard!"
SNAP!
But the veteran Dwarf's cries proved useless, as Fuzen continued yanking him around until his strength proved greater, and the boy snapped a chuck of Gareth's beard, both the hair and metal accessory now in the boy's grasp.
And so the boy managed to bring the powerhouse known as Elgarm to his knees, a single cry on his lips. "NOT THE BEARD!"
The Dwarf no longer of interest to the new Fuzen, the boy looked at the chunk of hair in his hand with a disgusted look on his face before letting it all fall down on the floor, waving his hair around a couple of times.
...Oh boy. I guess it falls to me to contain the situation… The Pallum in the room thought to himself as he looked at the Dwarf and Werewolf, a single drop of sweat running down his cheek. Then he nodded, and stepped forward.
"Fuzen-kun."
"..." Fuzen didn't respond to the name, but he nonetheless turned to face Finn, hunching over and squinting his eyes at the approaching Finn.
"It seems you and Loki had quite a bit of fun in here, did you not? As you do not seem to be in the mood for words, how about we sit down and have another drink?"
Yes. It seems Fuzen is acting on impulses right now. If I can bring him to sit down and calm a bit, he should fall asleep soon enough. He's barely standing as it is, a bit of rest will certainly-
Before he could finish his line of thought, Finn felt a hand upon his head before being lifted off the ground a moment later, Fuzen face already close to his own. "You lost or sumthing? Where...are your parents, kid?"
"Gah-!" The words cut through him more than the sharpest of blades. For many years now, Finn had been an adult, a member of society doing his best for his race, an Adventurer of the highest rank. His name was known across many countries, and he was the leader of so many highly talented Adventurer. And yet, despite all that..."I'm...a middle-aged man…"
"...You playing...Hic...house or something, kid?"
...It's not even...mockery. He truly believes...I'm a kid…
With mouth agape and a blank mind, Finn found himself unable to come up with any argument. Sensing the lack of response from Finn, Fuzen let him go, the Pallum falling down on his knees just like the Dwarf before him.
Now the only one still standing inside the room, Fuzen looked around with a confused expression, and it was then that he saw it, and the gears inside him mind began to move.
"Ah. Who...Hic...let the dog inside?" Fuzen asked as he pointed at Bete's fluffy tail, the extra appendage the only part of the Werewolf he could see through his blurry and double vision, both symptoms caused by his intoxicated state. "...Jesus fucking Christ, do I have to...Hic...do everything around here?" Shaking his head a couple of times, an action he regretted only moments later, Fuzen let out a grunt and moved towards Bete, grabbing the grown man by the tail and dragging him towards the door. "Come on, boi. You...belong outside. Don't want you doing your business all over the carpet...Ugh…"
Having reached the door, Fuzen grabbed the knob and pushed. However, the door required to be pulled in order to open. Again, this was knowledge lost to him in his current state. He pushed a second time. Then a third.
"...Tsk!" Having had enough, the boy stepped back and delivered a powerful kick, the door sent flying into the wall on the opposite wall and cracking in two. "...Insolent piece of shit…"
XXX
"...Wait..." The Pallum spoke after the boy kicked the door open and left, getting back to his feet.
Right now, he acts on impulses. A Level 2 who can defeat a Level 5 in a duel, and who can summon a magical dragon, is now acting recklessly, moody and on impulses, and he-...Oh boy…
Having realized the seriousness of the matter at hand, Finn wasted no time and dashed out of the room, down the hallway and then down the many stairs which made up the interior of the Twilight Manor. Then he rushed out of the front doors, and stopped in his tracks.
Finn himself was on the highest landing, having just rushed out of the Manor. Fuzen was midway down the stairs, still holding onto Bete's tail and dragging the man along. Walking towards the stairs from the direction of the front gates were Ais and Tione, both of the girls having left for the Dungeon the day before.
It was a good thing the girls decided to come back when they did, Finn thought to himself. After all, he had a hunch grabbing a hold of Fuzen would require at least this much.
"Ah! Captain, I'm back~" Tione shouted as she waved her hand, rushing forward to meet the Captain. Finn however raised his hand, a sign for her to keep her distance. "C-Captain, what's wrong?"
"You two. Fuzen isn't himself right now. We cannot allow him to get into the city. Contain him." Finn explained quickly, wasting no time and not taking his eyes off the boy.
The two girls exchanged looks before looking at Fuzen, standing and wobbling lightly from side to side in-between them and Finn. "Wait, is that...Bete? What happened here?"
"No time for explaining, Ais." Finn replied. "Use your Magic if needed. Don't allow him to leave."
The golden-haired girl was surprised at the words. Finn telling her to use her Magic, that only happened when the situation was serious. However, despite the sudden orders, Ais found herself drawing her rapier. Was it because it was an order from her Captain, or was it because of her previous experience with Fuzen when she tried to copy his Sword Style? Though she did not know exactly which of the two reasons made her draw her blade without hesitation, Ais was not pleased with herself and her lack of trust in the boy.
"Yo...I've been nice enough...to let you have a chat in my presence." Fuzen spoke a moment later, looking for a single moment at Ais's drawn rapier before turning his head to look at Finn behind him. "I dunno who...Hic...who the hell you are, but...what was it? You? Contain me? " Fuzen asked with reddened cheeks, and then, the most unexpected thing to date happened.
He smirked.
The boy who had been, to date, always composed, always poker-faced, never smiling and rarely showing any other emotion on his face, now smirked at the Captain, the man who was his senior both in Level, experience, age and influence. It was a mischievous smirk, one which showed how amused Fuzen was at Finn's words.
However, for all it's rarity, that one smirk on the boy's face felt...natural, to both Finn and the two girls. It didn't feel like he was trying to show something he was not used to showing.
"Pfff…Amusing. By all means, try to contain me, then..."Fuzen chuckled and turned, once again walking down the stairs, unfazed by Finn's previous words.
His Captain looked at the two girls and nodded, then sprinted off towards Fuzen, Tione acting just a single moment later, as well. She needed little reason besides Finn telling her to do something, and thus she acted far quicker than Ais, who was last to act.
Finn and Tione moved at incredible speed, possible only to their attributes as a Level 6 and Level 5, respectively. They closed in on the boy, still acting so nonchalantly about everything. As the two rushed him from both sides, he took one more step downwards, and once the sole of his feet touched the step, he vanished.
All Finn could see instead was Bete's unconscious body thrown at him, the Pallum stopping in his tracks and catching the Werewolf in his arms. Tione on the other side had lunged forward towards Fuzen, ready to grab the boy by his collar just a moment before he disappeared from her sight.
Then something hit her on the back of her head, and she was sent crashing face-down into the stone stairs below her.
"Yo...Who gave you permission...Hic...to try and touch me?" Fuzen asked as he stood atop the Amazon, his feet placed on her head, a vein now visible on his temple as annoyance formed on his face. A moment later he began to bend down, placing even more weight into his leg which held Tione down. "Know your place, asswipe."
"[Tempest!]"
Now fully aware of how severe the matter at hand was, Ais wasted no more time and unleashed her Magic, torrents of wind dancing around her body and sword. She knew not why he changed the way he did, but Ais now agreed with Finn: Fuzen needed to be contained.
"So...Hic...you're next, huh?" Skipping to the side, Fuzen locked eyes with Ais for a short moment before he began to descend the last couple of steps, ready to engage Ais, as well.
...I'll use my Magic to pin him down. Even Fuzen himself told me he could not win against me if I were to use my Magic. I can do this.
The golden-haired girl told herself with a nod, then lunged forward, closing in on the boy. One step. She would use her blade to direct the wind forward, pinning Fuzen to the ground. Two steps. Granted, it would hurt him a bit, but not too much. Three steps.
The she stopped, her wind dispersing in response to her emotions.
She could not do it. Looking at him again, something clicked inside her mind.
Something inside of her told her so. Something inside her told Ais that her wind was not supposed to hurt the boy. It could not be allowed to happen. Not now, nor ever.
As the wind surrounding her disappeared, so did the boy who stood in front of her, his absence now replaced with a light weight atop of Ais's head. "So you know better...than to take me on?" Fuzen asked as he stood on the girl's head with both his feet, surprisingly enough weighting almost nothing. "Good girl."
Ais turned her head upwards, but Fuzen was already gone, now only sparks of electricity left behind. She looked left and right, but he was not there.
"Damn it…" She heard Finn mutter from up ahead, having carried Bete down the stairs. Then she followed his eyes and looked behind her, towards the front gate a couple dozen meters away from them.
Fuzen was there, standing just a single step behind the entrance. A long, silent moment passed, then he began to slowly lift his arms to his side, a smirk taking form on his lips yet again.
He T-posed at them, then disappeared from his spot, once again replaced by sparks of electricity left behind.
He's...so petty! Ais and Finn both thought to themselves at Fuzen's actions. He truly was no longer himself. And now, he was out there, free to do what he wanted.
"Note to self: never have Fuzen take care of Loki on his own, ever again…" Finn let out a tired sigh as he shook Bete awake, the Werewolf grunting as he opened his eyes. By now, the one side of his face which got slapped burned red with pain, the handprint still visible on his cheek.
It's strange. I know for a fact that when Fuzen releases Raiju's lightning Magic through his own body, it burns him. I have seen it countless times already, it is a fact. So then...The Captain stood up, and looked in the direction of the front gate. "...That speed. He did use his Magic to enhance it...right? So why were there no signs of the backlash?"
Crack!
The loud sound behind him caused Finn to snap back from his thoughts, turning around only to get another headache, the second one for today.
"That...that…Grrrhh!" Tione slowly rose to her feet, a slightly reddish aura visible around her body. She crushed another rock in her hand, turning it into powder, then turned around and looked at the front gate with bloodshot eyes. "That fucking brat! I'll rip him apart, piece by fucking piece!" Then the Amazon stormed off in search of the boy, not listening to Finn's attempts at calming her down.
"...Sigh...Just when Riveria and Tiona are in the Dungeon, too...Guess it's up to us three." Finn stated as he rubbed the bridge of his nose at the turn of events.
"...Where's the old man?" Bete asked.
"...Fuzen, he...He touched the beard. Ripped part of it off, actually."
"Oh...Ohhh...Yep. Brat's dead, alright." Bete replied with a nod at the new information Finn shared with him. "If I don't kill him first, that is…"
Just then, the rumbling of thunder reached their ears as a bolt of lightning fell to the ground somewhere in the distance. Shortly after, a second one hit again, in the same spot.
Damn it, Fuzen...I really hope you haven't killed anyone...
"...Scratch that. Bete, Ais, gather the others. I want all available members ready within the next fifteen minutes."
"What'cha planning, Finn?" Bete asked.
"...A full-on manhunt." The Captain replied a silent moment later. "Fuzen cannot be allowed to roam free in his current state. He is too powerful. Too dangerous. This is my order as the Captain: capture and contain Fuzen, at all costs."
...Yes. That is what we must do. Not to protect Fuzen, but to protect Orario as a whole. I wonder, though...Did the alcohol mess up with his personality, or is this…? Finn shook his head, having no time to invest in his curiosity. Whatever the answer might be, one things for sure: Fuzen has been unchained.
XXX
Is it stupid, is it cringe?
I don't know to be honest. I guess this sort of comedy would not be to everyone's taste. Be that as it may be, hope you all had at least one single laugh or "heh" moment while reading.
I have also decided to insert a "clue" or two in this extra Chapter. Can you find them, I wonder…? All I'm saying is: think about what the characters themselves know about each other up to this point.
Not much else to say besides this. I wrapped this Chapter up pretty fast (compared to the main story one), so part 2 should not take too long, either.
See ya all later.
Kay bye.
