A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 3: Life with you, but without you [part 7]
And the exam day had finally arrived.
As for Rukia, she's accompanied by Byakuya towards her assigned squad.
The 13th division, led by Captain Juushiro Ukitake, which came from 78th eastern district of Rukongai.
This fact, made Rukia feel a bit of comfort.
For she was so tired of dealing with nobles.
Nobles who either adore her and talk behind her back, or the one's who loathe her and did not want anything to do with her.
It was painful ordeal of faking a smile and exchanging small fake pleasantries.
Thanks to her etiquette class with her personal tutors, she would have never been able to survive the sickening situations with nobles.
And if not for her gratitude to Byakuya, she would have walk out and drag whoever dared to insult her, and punch them in the face.
But she can't.
She's a Kuchiki now.
And a Kuchiki has a high standards of ethics, which to be followed, no matter what.
To protect their reputation as one of the 4 greatest noble clan of Soul Society.
And as such, she has to act the part, as the sister of the head of the Kuchiki clan.
But all this prep talk, is nothing as soon as she met one of Byakuya's fellow captain.
Gin Ichimaru, captain of 3rd division.
The one she fears at first sight.

All the while, as Byakuya talk with Gin, he acutely noticed the change in Rukia's riatsu, but tried his best to ignore it, not showing that his affected by the way Rukia shivered just a few feet behind him.
Especially since his dealing with this person.
Gin, the protégé who earned his rank by killing the former captain of 3rd squad.
A very unpredictable and dangerous man.
