Meanwhile, somewhere in heaven, Angelus was by herself and remain looking at the two objects of the Wheel of Shadows and the Glacier Stone. She left these two on a round table where there was a blue liquid on the table. She looks back to find Michael and Gabriel entering the room to discuss about these two weapons that has become a problem from many people.

"How is your hand, Michael?" Angelus asks and turns towards the two

Michael shows her that his hand was fully restore, as shown to have a yellowish energy coming out of the hand and through his arm. "Good as new."

"Have you decided on what to do with them?" Gabriel asks and approaches Angelus to look down at the two weapons.

Angelus looks back to the table and stares at the Wheel of Shadows "It has already been a problem for the devils to keep hidden… And it's also not wise to have any human wield it. It has always been misused and cause chaos wherever it goes. I can see why the Darkness and the Wheel of Shadows are always perfect when it comes with chaos." She sighs and turns her attention to the Glacier Stone "However…" She takes the stone out of the liquid and turns to one of the rooms that shows to have a yellow hologram of Earth on a table. She and the other two follows her, while she stands in front of the hologram of Earth and spins the planet fast with a swipe of her other hand until she decides to stop it with just a finger. She decides to spin the planet and stop with her finger to choose a location on Earth on where the stone should be. Of all the places she pick with her finger, she chooses Russia for the Glacier Stone to have.

"The stone has always been on Earth. We cannot decide who wields it, only to hope that the one who wields it shall not be used for their own game."

And with that she threw the Glacier Stone through the hologram and it absorbs it. In real time, the Glacier Stone fell out of the sky and lands somewhere in Russia. On impact, the stone activates itself to form an ice crystal to protect itself and wait for its host to come forth to retrieve it. Only the Glacier Stone can choose who is perfect to wield it, but if someone else was to claim it, the stone becomes dormant until the perfect person claims it.

"As much as I want the Wheel of Shadows to remain hidden forever, that man that has the power of both the Darkness and the Witchblade cannot remain in this timeline." Angelus replies to the two then looks back towards the artefact "Someone we can trust should wield it, but if none presents itself then we have no chance of learning anything about this man."

"I've fought this man and he prove to be incredible strong." Michael replies "While we only fought for a short time, I know he would be an opponent who anyone would struggle to fight against."

"I may know someone to help fix the Wheel of Shadows problem." Gabriel replies and steps closer to Angelus to look down at the artefact "A perfect candidate that you would like."

And so with the Wheel of Shadows getting a new master to control, the Glacier Stone remains on Earth to find a new host again. As for the wielder of the Ember Stone, she takes a trip in the underworld to recover from this battle and would be returning home when she is done. She was to be one of the only few live humans that actually came into this world. She never had the chance to wonder around this world, only to remain in Azazel's workshop and visit Azazel, who remains watching over his wife Reina. That battle seriously took a toll for Reina, but she remains alive and unconscious, thanks to Azazel's new invention that probably save her life. She was left inside a cryopod that helps regenerates a person's body and render them unconscious for the remainder of the process. It was one of a kind, as Azazel only perfect this machine a while ago with knowledge through magic and science too. However, when Azazel got her inside the pod to begin the regeneration process, something was happening to her Witchblade gauntlet that causes it to glow bright in red energy, which has never done something like this before in Reina's life.

Vali enters the scene and stands next to Azazel, while Silver stands on the other and all looking down at Reina. Vali asks "How long has she been unconscious?"

"She's been in here for a day." Azazel replies "Something happened to her during the regeneration process."

"Well, at least she's still alive and will be alright when she wakes up." Vali replies

"Yes… If she ever wakes up." Azazel, still sadden to look down at her and places his hand over the pod, wishing to touch the side of her face right now.

"So this is where you kept her." Marius enters the scene with Rias walking beside him. He finally put on some clothes with just a dark red shirt with some large dark logo at the front.

"Marius…" Azazel says his name first and the others also look back towards him. Azazel continues "I figured Reina would wake up first before you did."

"I guess I won that bet, although, this is not the good time to make jokes." Marius comes closer to the pod to look down at Reina for a second, but he turns his head towards her when knowing something was amiss.

Azazel notices it and asks "You noticed it, didn't you?"

"The good news is that she's alive." Marius looks back to Azazel "But the bad news is that she no longer has the Witchblade."

Both Silver and Azazel speak out at the same time "What?"

"She no longer has it. The Witchblade has left her sight to search for another host."

"It must've happened when I saw that bright light." Azazel replies

"Did the gauntlet glow?" Marius asks

"Yes. The gauntlet engulfed her in this bright energy that last for a while. I've never encounter something like this. Did it had something to do with her being stabbed by Cain?"

"It probably had something to do with her dying. In the event where the host of the Witchblade is no longer available for any more battles, the power would simply cast itself out of that woman's body and search for a new host. This event usually happens when the host becomes too old or pregnant or actually dead, which in this case, Reina should've been dead."

"So where is it now?" Silver asks

"Probably here in the underworld or trying to find a way to return to Earth." Marius shrugs "I could find it. Angelus probably knows where it's going."

"Reina will not like this." Azazel looks back at her pod

"At least she is still alive. That's something."

Azazel turns back towards Marius and changes the subject with regarding the deal with Cain. "I can't believe you wanted to spare that man. After everything he's done to her and your friends."

"There was a moment of bringing Cain out of the carnage of battle and out of the past. He could've been a good asset to us all, but he chose his fate and I chose to let him die." Marius looks back to Vali and asks "Say, Vali, how are the others? I haven't seen them yet."

"My team is fine and Grayfia still hasn't left her sight with Alexis."

"It's a relief that Alexis is safe and Rizevim is dead. It was fitting to have Grayfia finish him off, since it was him who killed Klaus."

"Will you be seeing them soon?" Azazel asks

"I prefer not to confront her right now. Just leave the two be and they'll be alright together."

Meanwhile, Grayfia was back at the citadel with Alexis finally getting out of bed. She was in her room for a while when she came back home, never said anything to Grayfia and just want to lay down in bed. Grayfia sent her sentries to protect her, while she returns to handle any situations in the throne room for a while until all that was left was her inside the room. When it was over, Grayfia was about to leave, but something stops her from going out the door and looks back at the throne to see Klaus sitting on that throne with a smile on his face towards her. She turns her body around to face him and takes a few more steps towards him until she stops and smiles back at him, but also a sign of sadden expression on her face at the sight of hallucinating her lover.

"You will forever be in my memories." Grayfia replies "And also my heart… Klaus."

After that, Grayfia departs never drops any tear at thinking of her husband, only to show a sadden side of her for a while until she puts on a straight face to see Alexis. She came into the room to see her sitting on the side of the bed, her arms against her legs and looking down at the floor. Alexis looks to see Grayfia coming towards her and stands near her.

"How are you feeling now?" Grayfia asks "Do you want me to get you something?"

"I'm… I'm fine…" Alexis looks back down at the floor.

Grayfia sits down on the bed next to her. She moves her right hand across the back of her head and moving her fingers through her hair. "You are all I have left. No matter how old and strong you become, I'll always protect you, my daughter."

Alexis turn her head to Grayfia with her sadden look on her face "I wish dad was here."

"We all wish he was here. But we must face reality that the only thing we could ever see him is through our memories."

"I know…"

Grayfia ends up wrapping her arms around her and she hugs her back. As they hug, Alexis does mutter and says "The one who killed him…"

"He's dead." Grayfia replies, still holding onto her and moves her hand up and down across her hair. "As much as I wanted him to live and experience the pain I felt, he should never live in this reality with us."

"I know… I guess justice was delivered."

"Indeed. Hmmm, Alexis." Grayfia moves away from her and replies "You'll always worry me, but I know you wouldn't want me watching you all the time. It's perhaps time for you to form your own peerage, choose those who will protect you and stay with you."

"I know…" Alexis turns her head away from her "I'm much better staying here, mother."

"Take your time." Grayfia kisses her forehead and gets off the bed "You know where to find me."

Meanwhile, a familiar guest would arrive at Marius' mansion. Carmilla came through with her usual outfit and brought her cape with her this time. The moment she came through, she gets a warm welcome when she meets with Akeno and Shiori first, then Rias comes downstairs and was the only one that gives Carmilla the stare at this new woman.

"Carmilla… Why am I not surprised?"

"Don't like me? Too bad, because I'll be staying here. You still owe me for what your friends did to my castle." Carmilla replies "So I will demand compensation for what happen there. While you did indeed help destroy my enemies, you still haven't repaid the damage that has done to my castle, so for now, our debt isn't squared. Right, Marius?" Carmilla looks behind Rias and sees Marius coming into the scene from behind her.

"Welcome, Carmilla." Marius approaches her and hugs her, then backs away and looks back to Rias, who remains arms cross and looking back at him. "Everyone, Carmilla will be staying here for a while. She'll also be our new bishop for the team."

"Really?" Akeno asks then looks back to Carmilla "I figured you would join us. This is going to be great."

"It would be nice if you told me earlier about this." Rias replies

"I'll make it up to you later." Marius replies and takes out a bishop piece out of his pocket "For now, we've got a new guest." He then throws it underarm towards Carmilla and she easily catches it.

Carmilla looks at the piece before it disintegrates and she spreads her devil wings. "Thank you for the warm welcome. I look forward to seeing my bedroom."
