Yellow Chapter 9

In the Vermilion City, Ash, Alice, and Yellow are looking at the shore, and Yellow asks, "Brother...if we are leaving Vermilion City, can I use your Pokemon to surf? None of my Pokemon are capable of surfing."

"Of course you can, Yellow." Ash says with a smile. "But you know, you can't always rely on your big brother for everything, so I suggest you can try finding a Water Pokemon and try to capture it."

"Okay, I'll try to find it tomorrow." Yellow says as she decides to train with Pika. Alice looks at Ash and she asks, "Ash, are you thinking of something?"

"I was thinking about the fact that I have to beat Lance to become the Champion of Kanto..." Ash says, "Can I do it?"

"I am sure you can." Alice says, "We are by your side and I am sure you won't give up until it is over."

"Thanks, Alice." Ash says, just then, they hear someone calling for help, as they notice a Swimmer falling to shore from a large wave. Ash says, "Are you okay?"

The swimmer is too pained to talk, as Alice says, "He has a broken leg. Yellow, tell your Caterpie to wrap it up like a bandage."

Yellow does as she helps the swimmer, who says, "Thanks, you saved my life."

"What were you doing out there in the middle of the night?" Ash asks, and he shows them the commercial about a Surfing Contest, he is known as a Swimmer and he has taken part in many contests all over the region, but there is a big wave and he is unable to participate.

"How about you lend your Slowpoke to Yellow so she could enter for your sake?" Alice suggests, and Yellow is surprised, "Are you sure about that?"

"For your help, it's my least." The Swimmer also agrees with Alice's idea as they go to train.

While they are doing that, Ash is also watching how Green and Bill are battling against Bruno's Hitmonlee. The Hitmonlee then uses its spring-like body to bounce Blasty off itself. Green and Bill are then separated from Blasty and Hitmonlee. Green then uses a distant-commanding device that traps a command inside a bubble.

While Yellow is going to enter the contest, which the winner would win a Dragonair in their team. Ash looks around and he says, "Something is not right..."

"I can feel it as well." Alice says.

Just then, the Dragonair then lashes out, using Whirlpool, and the contests being to be pulled down into the sea. Ash says, "Alice, go help Yellow."

Alice nods as she rushes towards Yellow's location. Ash rides on his Blastoise as he faces the person who is controlling the Dragonair.

"What in the world is happening? A Whirlpool has appeared around the Dragonair...and it's pulling the contestants down!" The announcer says.

Ash and his Blastoise are blocking the Dragonair and he says, "You are really giving us a lot of trouble, Lance."

The person, who turns out to be Lance, says, "And I never thought we would be meeting here, Ash. Hyper Beam!" Lance commands the Dragonair to blast at Ash, but Ash manages to dodge the attack. But the attack causes half of Vermilion City to be destroyed.

"How dare you..." Ash says. "Why are you doing this? Lance?"

"It is simple, I was looking for you and your brother, but it seems that I haven't found your brother. The buildings are blocking my view, pity it was a wasted effort."

"Just for that...countless people and Pokemon..." Ash says in anger.

"They didn't die. The surfing contest is quite the event for Vermilion City. The city should have been empty." Lance says.

"What?" Ash says with anger.

"Well, a trainer or two might bit the dust, but...heh." Lance says. "Now that you're here, it is time to get rid of you."

Ash says, "I'll see you try. Since you are the final Elite 4 member that I need to face before becoming the Champion, I declare the challenge against you!"

While Ash and Lance are facing each other, Green and Bill are still fighting Bruno's Hitmonlee. The command-bubble almost reaches Blasty, but is popped by Hitmonlee. Hitmonlee uses its stretching body to wrap up Blasty. Blasty uses Bubble to hide the next command-bubble. The command reaches Blasty, telling it to use a made-up move, with which Blasty punches the foe with its cannons..

Once Hitmonlee is defeated, Green says, "We have to go now, Ash, Alice and Yellow might be in danger."

"How do you know that?" Bill asks in confusion, and Green says, "Duh! Couldn't you tell that Hitmonee's whole purpose was just to keep us occupied? Why else didn't it attack even when Blastoise was getting no commands and had no idea what to do?"

"Y'mean this was just a decoy?!" Bill asks in shock.

"Yup, and we fell for it. Since there's no follow-up attack, Hitmonlee and its trainer have probably left. Meaning they kept us occupied long enough." Green says.

"An' ya think the enemy knows yer helpin' Yellow along...?" Bill asks.

"So this decoy means someone else has gotten to Yellow, let's move!" Green says.

Lance sends out Seadra, while Ash goes for Vileplume. Vileplume starts with the Grassy Terrain, creating the field to make Grass moves Stronger. Lance has Seadra uses Dragon Pulse, and it manages to hit Vileplume, but not that much. Vileplume goes for an Energy Ball, and it deals a lot of damage to the Water Type Pokemon.

"Hyper Beam!" Lance yells, and much to his surprise, Vileplume is still able to stand up and with the recharge, Seadra is defeated by the Vileplume with the Moonblast.

"I knew Team Rocket used Pokemon for evil, but I've never heard of anything like this..." Ash says.

""Evil"? Well, is that what I was doing? I had no idea." Lance says, "But look at it from a Pokemon's perspective. Would you want to be kept as a pet in some suffocating little city like that?"

"What do you mean by that?" Ash asks as Lance sends out his second Pokemon, which is a Gyarados, and it uses Dragon Rage to defeat Vileplume.

"Human good and Pokemon good are opposed! All humans on earth, except for Elite trainers, must be destroyed! That is the mission of Lance of the Elite 4!"

"Ridiculous!" Ash says as he sends out his Electrode, with the Thunderbolt, it gives Gyarados a lot of damage.

"Gyarados, use Waterfall!" The Pokemon roars as it uses the Water attack to Electrode, causing it to flinch, then it fires the Flamethrower, causing the Ball Pokemon to take a lot more damage than Ash thought.

At the same time, Alice and Yellow are now onshore, and they see how Ash is battling Lance, and Alice says, "So the final member of the Elite 4 has appeared."

"So that is the leader?" Yellow asks. "He looks really strong."

"Without the Champion, he is the strongest member in the Pokemon League of Kanto and Johto." Alice says, "But we need to help Ash."

"I'm coming as well." Yellow says as they are now riding their Lapras.

In the end, Electrode manages to defeat Gyarados, so Lance sends out Aerodactyl next. Aerodactyl uses the Rock Tomb to trap Electrode, Ash yells, "Jump up high and go for Gyro Ball!"

Electrode nods as he jumps and lands the attack on Aerodactyl, causing it to get a lot of damage. "Now that it is in the air, use Hyper Beam."

Ash widens his eyes as Electrode can't dodge the attack, in the end, it faints and Ash has to recall Electrode.

"Rhydon, I choose you!" Ash sends out the Rock Type Pokemon, and it uses Rock Blast, but only one of it hits Aerodactyl.

"Use Earthquake." Lance yells as Aerodactyl manages to land the attack, but Rhydon uses Protect before the attack hits, and then it goes for a Smack Down and then this time it uses Drill Run, knocking out the Aerodactyl.

"It seems that you are going to force my hand." Lance says as the Dragonair he is riding floats into the air. Ash says, "Of course, Dragonair can skim the skies just like the seas."

"And it is my gift to control the power of the dragons." Lance says as he commands his Dragonair to put thunderclouds into the sky.

"Do you see the power I wield? Even the sky obeys my every whim. The Elite 4 and our allied trainers are all the humans the world needs!"

Ash says, "You are wrong, if anything, you are not the only humans the world needs!" Ash sends out Pikachu, who is hiding in the hat. He tries to attack but stops when Dragonair's Hyper Beam narrowly misses it. Not only that, the beam changes its direction and hits Pikachu, causing it to fall from the sky.

"This Dragonair's Hyper Beam can flash in every direction. No matter how quickly you scamper around, you're simple to catch!"

"You..." Ash says as he manages to catches Pikachu. Lance says, "And don't worry, I held back, so he won't die."

"Ash!" Alice and Yellow also arrive on Lapras, and Lance notices the ear on Yellow's Pikachu, and he says, "So that's it, the Pikachu with a scar on one ear! So you were the ones Lorelei and Agatha were after."

"Lorelei is such a perfectionist...she couldn't live with the knowledge that this Pikachu escaped her, and then you all did the same to poor Agatha. Which means, you are Ash's Brother, Yellow Caballero Ketchum!"

"You are not going to harm my brother." Ash says as he and Blastoise step in front of Yellow.

"Sibling love I see. But they'll be very happy if I deliver this Pikachu to them." Just then, Dragonair starts to grab Pika using Wrap, and Lance says, "Though I really couldn't care less! Hahaha!"

"Pikachu, help Pika with the Thunderbolt!" Ash says, Yellow says, "But what about Pika? You'll hurt him as well!"

Alice says, "Yellow, tell Pika to use Substitute!" Yellow nods as she also commands, and both Pokemon manage to use Thunderbolt together and deal Dragonair some damage.

"I told you I was holding back...didn't I?" Lance is frustrated as he says, "If you want to be food for the Magikarp that badly, then...Dragon Rage!"

The attack causes all seven of the beings are hit, and they all fall into the ocean. Lance says, "Fool..."

Ash pops out of the water and says, "If there is a fool, that is only you! Since you knock us in the water, I might as well try out Pika and Pikachu's new move!"

"Oh, really? You have no means to attack me." Lance says, but much to his shock, Yellow has Pika uses the move Surf, Alice says, "Pika's projected power makes a great Water-repelling surfboard..."

The move then hits Lance's Dragonair and Yellow yells, "Take that!"

The attack hits Dragonair, and Pikachu also jumps into the air and he yells, "Splishy Splash!"

Pikachu fires a giant wave of electricity, and then it makes Lance widen his eyes as he is swallowed by the giant wave along with Dragonair, causing a giant explosion.

After the blast is gone, Ash, Alice, and Yellow are back on Blastoise and Lapras' back, and they can't see Lance anywhere, and Blastoise feels something and he picks it up to Ash, which turns out to be the Dragon Medal.

"They are gone..." Alice says.

"Yeah...a trainer who loves Pokemon...dreaming of destroying mankind for their sake..." Ash says as he turns to Pikachu, Blastoise, Pika and Lapras. "What do you guys think? Could you really have better lives if we are gone?"

They all shake their heads, and Ash smiles, "Now let's go, we need to go to Cinnabar Island."

The other two girls nod as they surf away, not knowing that the bubbles start to rise to the water's surface.

Here is a new chapter, and Ash got his final Elite 4 medal from Lance. Now all that need is to disband the Elite 4 by defeating them, and I hope you like this chapter.
