Sakura fell down on the ground while breathing fast.
Tsunade was long gone, and the sun already started to settle as well. Her body felt...sore was not even a good word for it anymore, it felt more like dead. She couldn't even tell how will she be able to go home.
She only started to train with the godaime hokage just over 3 months ago, and she still didn't see any improvement, her body whining for some rest, and food...a lot of food.
She held the green grass around her fingers tightly, while trying to calm her beating heart down, at least she was done with the training for today.
She looked up at the orange sky, while Naruto's ramen song still rang in her ear.
Her blonde teammate made up a song about his love for the ramen, and has been singing it non stop for the past two weeks, to everyone's annoyance. She could swear to have heard it in one of her dreams too.
Kakashi-sensei even came up with a plan to glue his lips together, but sadly he wasn't THAT stupid, and they needed the Sheff of Ichiraku, to tell him, it's bad, for him to stop.
She sighted, and tried slowly to get up.
Her legs were shaking, and she felt the childish softness of them starting to get replaced by harder muscles.
Her arms were shaking as well, while gathering everything from the ground in her porch and her stomach gave out a loud groan.
She started to walk, as well as she could, towards the Uchiha district, while keeping an eye out for possible dinner options.
The first month of the team living together was rough. Everyone needed to get used to the new lifestyle, and a few times all three of them, on separate occasions, almost run away. Everyone had their own quirks and rituals of how they liked to spend their mornings, evenings and food times, so it took a lot of adjusting to make it work. She in particular, needed a lot of time and patience for Naruto, since he seemed to hate cleaning, and actually expected them to live only on ramen.
Sasuke was not easy either, not understanding that tomatoes and rice balls are not good enough for the training he does, and that her cherry shower gel was there to stay.
But Kakashi-sensei was the worst, leaving his Icha icha merch around the house, causing many embarrassing and confusing scenarios, and she didn't even mention his ninja dogs and their habits of eating up all the meat and pooping in the yard.
Yeah, it was rough.
But, Sakura thought, at least now she knows what it's like to live with boys and a man with strange habits, so when one day she would need to live with him, it would be easier.
With this thought she reached the gate of the compound, and she heard barking.
No
Gaara would be an angel compared to them!
She sighted, and just walked in.
She could hear shouts from Naruto, and lower toned Usoratonkachis from Sasuke, and she decided in that moment to retreat to her room after she ate.
Walking into the house, the door was wide open, and the dogs were running around and barking.
She just sighted again, and took her lead to the kitchen.
"I told you, it's not possible" said Sasuke, and she saw his hands were gesticulating around in the air, which he only did when he became really agitated. Great
"But bushy brows says so!" replied back Naruto, while slurping up a long noodle from his ramen bowl. "Oh, hi Sakura-chan" he said, waving at her. She waved back and nodded to Sasuke, while going to the fridge, and the boys continued their argument on whether Lee can train for 24 hours with no break.
She truly needed a bath, but her stomach wouldn't let her enjoy it.
She made a quick tomato egg, with spicy peppers and rice, and called it a day.
Kakashi sensei was off drinking with Jiraya, and left his dogs here, again.
While surrounded by the warm water in the bath, and her legs finally stopped shaking, her mind drifted off to the last news about him.
Konoha and Suna were not at war with each other, but they were not in the best terms either. She wanted to got to Suna, but, after testing out the poison, she could only go out for a while, and then being pulled back forcefully to Kabuto's lab. She hated it.
And, no matter how many times he tried to come, Konoha, or more the council, didn't let him, saying the attack was too recent for them to allow any Wind country nin into their country.
Her last poison analysis with Tsunade deduced that her rigorous training in genjustsu was cleansing her body from it, and she will probably be free in about two years, which didn't make her happy at all.
They couldn't really send any messages either, and she wanted to smash her head on the ground, because of it.
Her parents were in the prison, the hokage showing mercy, and not killing them, but any time she tried to talk about anything, they would shut her out, and their face growing more and more sick, dead like.
Which reminded her of Kabuto, for some reason.
Gaara was in his bed, meditating, but his thoughts went to Xiaoying, and he started to grow reckless.
