After May's amazing win against Gordie, Gary was now up against Opal which Ashlyn was greatly interested in since she hasn't seen her brother in all but blood battle

"Thanks, aunt Winona" May said blushing
"I'm so proud of you May," Steven said smiling as he pats Eevee's head "You too Eevee"
"Thank You!"Eevee said smiling
"Well dear time to show Galar what you can do," Opal said as Gary escorted her to her place in the field "In other words don't hold back"
"Of course," Gary said before he ran to his place on the field
"Let me have a look at how you and your partner Pokémon behave!" she said before she sent out a Weezing that looked strange it has a gray body with the skull, crossbones, and ring changed to the color yellow. Both heads have a hat-like tube located on top of them that constantly releases purified air. Five green puffs of poison gas clouds can be seen floating around it. The larger head has a cloud-like mustache, while the smaller head has clouds on its face in the shape of eyebrows and a beard.
"Alakazam I choose you!" Gary said as he called out a humanoid Pokémon with a large mustache. It has a long, thin snout, narrow eyes, ear-like spikes extending from the top of its head, and an additional spike protruding from each cheek. Covering its yellow, skeletal body are brown armor-like sections over its chest, shoulders, forearms, and knees. There are three toes on each foot, each of which has a white claw. Two of the toes face forward, while one faces backward. It wields a silver spoon in each hand
"Well well well he actually uses him," Ashlyn said smiling
"What do you mean?" May asked
"That's my uncle Green's Alakazam, not Gary's. He always took care of us when papa and uncle Green were busy" Ashlyn said smiling softly "He always kept an eye on Gary since he often found something dangerous to play with"
"Let's show them what we can do Alakazam," Gary said
"Well, then Weezing Sludge!" Opal said before Weezing send poisonous liquid at Alakazam
"Dodge!" Gary said before Alakazam moved away from the Sludge "Calm Mind!"
"Fairy Wind Weezing!"Opal said before Weezing sent the fairy type attack towards Alakazam which landed causing a bit of damage to the Psychic-type
"Psychic!" Gary exclaimed before Alakazam used his Psychic powers to fling Weezing into the stadium walls knocking her out
"Weezing is unable to battle Alakazam wins," the referee said before both trainers returned their pokemon
"Go Electivire!" Gary exclaimed before sending out a large, humanoid Pokémon covered in yellow fur with black stripes. It appears to lack a neck and has red eyes, a black spot on its forehead, and a pair of antennae with bulbous tips. A pattern on its back resembles an electric outlet. The fur on its cheeks and shoulders is spiky and ruffled. It has two black tails with red rounded ends, resembling open electrical wires. It has black feet with three, clawed toes, and five black fingers on each of its hands.
"Togekiss dear," Opal said before releasing a white, avian Pokémon with an ovoid body. While its feet are small and situated closely together, its wings are broad and triangular. Red and blue triangular markings over its underside, and it has a short tail consisting of three feathers. On the back of its head are three spikes: a red-tipped one on the right, a blue-tipped one on the left, and a pure white one in the middle. It has a relatively flat face and small, black eyes.
"I wonder what ability this one has?" Winona wondered out loud which got the attention of Riley
"What do you mean?" He asked
"A Togekiss with the ability Serene Grace has a very large chance to flinch their opponents often while an ability like Hustle does tend to become a bit of a hassle" Winona explained looking at her new Togetic
"Hm I should look up Pokémon abilities more," Riley thought as he continued to watch the match in interest
"Looks like you'll have to step it up Bea you're going up against someone who knows a lot more than other gym leaders" a tall, slender black girl with long blue and black striped hair and blue eyes. She wears a gym uniform consisting of a white crop top and shorts with blue and orange details as well as a number 049 on it. For accessories, she wears hoop earrings, two armlets, a Dynamax Band, and a blue single glove on her hand. She also wears a belly chain and white and blue sandals with buoys on them teased her friend
"I am well aware which is why I challenged her. I want to see how I hold up against a senior Gym Leader from another region and especially one who has the type advantage" Bea said looking determined
"I've been wondering Leon, where is Chairman Rose why isn't he here?" a slim, tired-looking young man with pallid skin. His droopy eyes are cyan-colored and he wears blue-gray eyeshadow around them. He has angular black eyebrows. There are lines in between his eyes, which is probably since he is constantly furrowing his eyebrows. He has long, spiky, black-and-white hair that covers one side of his face and is tied in three ponytails. His ponytail has an alternating striped pattern. He dons a black and magenta shorts jumpsuit with a cropped white jacket on top that has magenta diagonal stripes on the torso area and spikes on the wrist area. He wears a thumbless black glove on his right hand and is wearing a collar similar to his sister's, only with a gray band. He dons a metal wristband and a white glove on his left hand, and a belt with Poké Balls hanging from it. His shoes are grey with spikes pointing backward on the back of two bands around his shins. Under the shoes are black socks that might be connected to the bands but it is not confirmed. The heels of these shoes are a darker grey and shaped as skulls asked the champion
"Let's just say that he doesn't really know about this" Leon said making Raihan and Piers gap at him
"Won't we get into a lot of trouble?" Raihan asked
"No, since this is sponsored by Devon Corporations and a charity event all in one besides it helps bring more foreign businesses into the Galar region in fact look at Kabu and Allister's jersey," Leon said before both turned to Allister and Kabu who were talking to May and Max they had new sponsorship tags "Devon Corporation has chosen to sponsor both of them already establishing newer and stronger ties to Hoenn"
"Who are you? and what have you done with Leon?" Piers said shocked
"Oh Prof Magnolia and Sonia drilled that into me just in case Chairman Rose tries something," Leon said sheepishly
"Electivire Ice Punch Let's go!" Gary commanded before Electivire delivered an outstandingly powerful Ice Punch knocking out Togekiss
"Well I must admit you lack pink but you are a very powerful trainer and a kind gentleman as well so I'll make this a bit more interesting. Mawile dear comes out" Opal said before she sent out a short, bipedal Pokémon with a pale yellow body and black arms and feet. Its legs have a thick, fur-like covering resembling hakama or a skirt. Its most notable feature is a pair of large black jaws emerging from the back of its head. These jaws have an oval yellow spot on their top surface and contain ten pointed teeth - six on the top row and four on the bottom. It has red eyes and two black ear-like extensions on either side of its head.
"Still rearing to go Electivire?"
"Sure am"
"Mawile, Draining Kiss!"Opal commanded before Mawile speeded over to Electivire and gave him a kiss which seemed to drain him
"Fire Punch while it's still close!" Gary exclaimed before Electivire's fist was engulfed by fire and soon it collided with Mawile's side
"Mawile Iron Defence!" Opal said before Mawile glowed a metallic shine
"Great now it's harder to attack since its defense rose," Gary thought in distress since he saw how tired Electivire looked "Earthquake!"
As the earth shook Mawile was sent flying into the air by boulders which injured it a lot because of her Steel typing
"Mawile Crunch!" Opal commanded before Mawile managed to land her second mouth onto Electivire's arm
"Flamethrower!" Gary said before Electivire sent a powerful flamethrower attack onto Mawile
"It ends now!" Electivire and Mawile both said before a large explosion kick dust up into the air covering both Pokemon as soon as the dust cleared both Pokemon were unconscious
"That was insane" Nessa exclaimed in awe of the battle
"Hm looks like Opal isn't holding back at all," Milo said cheerfully
"A double knock out," Max said in awe
"That was so amazing," May said her eyes glittering
"He really is just like his dad," Ashlyn thought smiling "I hope you can see him, uncle Green, he's just like you looks and all"
"Scizor Let's go!" Gary called outa bipedal, insectoid with a red, metallic exoskeleton. It has gray, forewings and hind wings with simple, curved venation. Its head is kite-shaped with three blunt horns extending above its forehead, and dark yellow eyes. Scizor's neck and part of its thorax give the appearance of being exposed: they show black skin and are surrounded by its raised exoskeleton. It has a large abdomen with three black, pointed stripes below the waist. It has broad shoulders and thin, segmented arms ending in large, round pincers, which make up a third of Scizor's body weight. its legs are defined by large hip joints, thin thighs, and wide calves, its feet ending in one clawed toe in front and another in the back.
"My morning tea is finally kicking in, and not a moment too soon!" Opal said as she sent out a vaguely anthropoid Pokémon with a body composed of whipped cream. Its head resembles several dollops of whipped cream styled like hair, with a large crowning dollop flanked by two loop-like "bangs."
"Careful Scizor" Gary said smiling in excitement "This is awesome"
"Are you prepared? I'm going to have some fun with this" Opal said before she returned Alcremie into her Pokeball before it started to enlarge and once she threw her Alcremie back in but it was now its body resembles a towering, five-tiered cake. The apical tier of the cake resembles Alcremie's regular body, though it's wearing a bow and its whipped-cream "hair" is styled into a flamboyant swoop. Each of the bottom layers of the cake features an assortment of sweets that can be used to evolve Alcremie from Milcery. Three red clouds surround the fourth tier of its body. The first tier of its body is frosted yellow and adorned with an alternating row of star sweets and dotted frosting. The second tier is frosted pink and features a magenta frosting bow topped with a clover sweet. The third tier is frosted blue and encircled with a row of flower-shaped sweets. Additionally, it features an arch of blueberries. The fourth tier is also frosted pink and encircled with heart-shaped sweets, with the ventral candied heart being a little larger than the rest. Dollops of whipped cream encircle Gigantamax Alcremie's body between each of its tiers.
"Scizor let's do our best. Mega Evolve!" Gary said as he grasped his dad's old mega necklace which emitted several golden tendrils of light, just as the Scizor's mega stone on his scarf began to do the same only with blue tendrils instead of golden "This is for you dad"
Soon Mega Scizor was revealed to the crowd.Mega Scizor's pincers lengthen and develop serrations. The lower half of the claws turn white and gain three-pointed spikes on the underside. The barbs on Mega Scizor's claws can stab through concrete, and opponents caught in them are unable to escape. Its eyespots are now blue with a thin black rim. Though they lack the black rim, their eyes are blue as well. Additional pieces of black armoring appear on various areas of its body: a three-pointed crest on its forehead and striated coverings on its shoulders and thighs. Mega Scizor's legs are less detailed and resemble large, tapered spikes with white tips
"Wow, that's incredible!" Max said with stars in his eyes
"I'll say," May said smiling as she showed her Oricorio to Allister since it is a ghost type he's never seen before
"It's mega evolution stuff is incredible!" Piers said eyes widening slightly
"It is, and it doesn't even need a power spot," Alain said smiling
"Hmm, Think you can tell me more," Piers said smirking
"Looks like Piers is interested in something, care to share, Kabu," Melony said smiling
"Wait you've seen this Mega evolution thing before Kabu?" Nessa asked
"Seen it? He's used it" Winona said smiling
"It is true, I started with Torchic the fire type Hoenn starter, who is now a Blaziken and I also had a Houndoom both are able to mega evolve because our close friend Araceli has amazing luck with finding Mega Sones for pokemon we have. It was hilarious to see the frustration on your father's face every time she found one"
"My my in all my years, it seems I still have lots to learn. Alcremie use G-max Finale" Opal said after an amazing back and forth between her Alcremie and his Scizor
"Scizor! Use Flash Cannon!" Gary said before Scizor knocked Alcremie out due to all of the damage it sustained
"You truly are a strategic young man and if you continue the way you battle. You'll be just fine"
