Marie's spear began to glow with magic, her eyes turning yellow and red. Undyne spoke through her. "I have no idea who you think you are, but I know that you're gonna get a serious ass kicking." A small grin spread on the girl's face. "Heh. A bit cocky, are we?" She twirled her glaive, and was now holding it like a staff. "No matter. I am Yukina." Yukina took a battle stance. Indigo summoned their whip, and Darien summoned bullets around him. Okami's eye flashed back and forth with yellow and orange, and her nails suddenly shifted to be longer and sharper, almost like claws. Sharp bullets appeared around her. Percy's eyes were blazing as she held her sword, purple bullets beginning to appear around her. Justin's eyes glowed with orange as his gauntlets appeared. Marcus' emerald eyes shimmered with magic as a shield appeared on his arm. Misty's aqua eyes flashed with magic as water began to swirl around her. Aaron's flames grew brighter as new pyre appeared in his hands. Pebbles' hands shifted to be larger, and they balled them into fists. Marie, no, Undyne's eyes blazed with magic. A wide and confident grin spread on her face. All of this happened near instantly. Then, with a loud battle cry, everyone rushed forward as a torrent of warriors. Justin rushed at Yukina, swinging his fist at her, yet she blocked his punch with her glaive, swinging it to knock him back. Marcus ran towards Yukina, yet she jumped and twirled out of the way. Misty's water solidified into ice, and stabbed towards Yukina in frozen daggers. She jumped and dodged, twisting and turning perfectly, blocking some of the ice with the blade on her glaive. Percy, Darien, and Okami all fired their torrent of bullets, yet Yukina blocked them with a magical shield, appearing with a strange noise and a flash of dark green and murky aqua. Okami rushed at Yukina, going at a speed of which was quite fast. She jumped at Yukina at the side of which the shield wasn't at, yet Yukina blocked Okami's claws, swinging her glaive to block, knocking her away. With a flash of purple, Percy teleported behind Yukina, slamming her sword forward. Yukina twisted around, blocking the attack with her glaive. She threw Percy off, but Percy was able to catch her footing as she was knocked across the room. Aaron raced at Yukina, flames bursting all around him as he exploded towards her, yet she jumped out of the way. However, Aaron was ready. He spun around, and shot fire at Yukina. She jumped up and over, and with a flash of magic, ice flung out and at Aaron. He yelped and jumped out of the way, aware of what the ice could do to him, should he be caught in it. Marie and Undyne were both shocked.
Other than herself, Marie had never heard of a human that could summon elemental magic. But then, Marie faintly recalled something. She remembered Percy showing her a spell book that her family had, but Percy herself could never get any right. It was filled with spells regarding the elements, and they only allowed a small fraction of control, when compared to other elemental monsters. Pebbles rushed at Yukina, swerving left and right, avoiding her ice. They jumped in the air and slammed their large fists down, only for Yukina to swing her glaive, knocking them away, despite their greater weight. Undyne/Marie and Indigo were the only ones who hadn't attacked yet, as they had no opening. Everyone was fighting to no end, jumping back at Yukina each time they were knocked away. Indigo's eyes flashed with magic. "Darling, may I ask you a favor? Kindly get me an opening." A disk appeared at Indigo's feet, and then, they bunched themself up on it, looking ready to jump. Undyne nodded, and with a flash of magic, more spears appeared around her. Her eyes flashed with magic. Then, for Marie and Undyne, time seemed to stop as they appeared in the SOULSCAPE. "Undyne, allow me." Marie said, her blue eyes flashing with confidence, power, and magic. Undyne nodded, a huge grin on her face. "Put all that training to good use." And in an instant, Marie was in control of her body. Her eyes were flashing back and forth between yellow and blue. In her hand, a large red spear appeared in it, floating just above her palm. Marie's eyes briefly flashed with red, before switching right back to the usual flashing blue and yellow. Everyone currently fighting Yukina took the hint, and scrambled away the moment before the attack was thrown. Marie threw the spear with a mighty motion, blasting forward with a blaze of magic. It hit Yukina's shield directly. Yukina herself tried to fight off the spear, but it was still pressing against the shield with immense force. Then, at last, the shield broke apart, and the spear disappeared. Yukina looked absolutely shocked in the short moment of time, before Indigo finally jumped. They swung their whip around them, staying in mid air due to jumping off of their platform, obviously gravity magic at work. And from their whip, rings with spikes on them flung off, all aimed at Yukina. She blocked some, dodging others, but then, a ring struck, nicking her on the cheek.
Her eyes flew wide, and she felt for blood. There was blood alright, dripping down her face from the cut. Yukina looked almost impressed. "Not bad, for a traitor." She spoke, a small smile making it's way to her face. Her glaive began to glow with magic. Her smile widened, and then, she swung her glaive about, waves of magic blasting off. The team all dodged, jumping or ducking out of the way. She kept going, wave after wave. The team couldn't even get close to attack, and no one had time to summon an attack before the next wave came.
"HUMAN!" Marie almost jumped at the sudden loud voice of Papyrus. "ALLOW ME TO HELP YOU OUT OF THIS PREDICAMENT!" Your help is welcome, Papyrus. Marie replied, jumping again from a wave of magic. Then, a giant bone burst out of the ground and knocked Yukina into a wall. She hit it back first, and fell to the ground.
She struggled to stand up, her back in horrible pain. Marie stood up fully, and then, Yukina's SOUL appeared on her chest, now a vibrant blue. She was stuck on the ground, being pushed down heavily. She feebly looked up at Marie, a challenge in her eyes. As if she was daring Marie to attack. Her smile hadn't gone away. "What are you waiting for, Angel?" She asked, her smile intensifying. Her grin was wide, showing her teeth, but her eyes were wider, almost round. But this time, it didn't fill Marie with fear. It filled her with disgust. She knew that smile would only be worn by a killer. The world flashed black and white, and Marie could see Yukina's stats. Yukina. LV 42. Marie narrowed her eyes in disgust and anger. But then, Yukina's eyes shimmered with dark green, before everyone in the room was frozen. Marie's magic ceased, and Yukina stood up. Her smile was still there. She grabbed her glaive, and raised it up at Marie. ...no. I am not going through this again. Marie thought, her eyes narrowing in anger.
And then, just as Yukina brought her glaive down to strike Marie, she broke free with a flash of magic, and caught the glaive between her gloved hands, her eyes glowing and flashing. Yukina looked absolutely shocked. "...that's impossible...!" She muttered, frozen on the spot. "But no one can break out of a CRUEL STARE..." "Update your history books." Marie retorted, and then, she swung the glaive away, throwing it to the side. A gasterblaster appeared in front of her, aiming at Yukina. She jumped out of the way, when another 'blaster appeared behind her. Yukina didn't have time to dodge, and got hit by its fury. She let out a cry of pain, and fell to the ground yet again. Everyone who was trapped in the CRUEL STARE was freed. Yukina looked up at Marie, her smile fading. Then, she disappeared with a flash of dark blue and green.
"So teleporting is her strongsuit as well..." Marie mumbled, her eyes still flashing with magic. She was quite irritated. "And it seems that we have a new enemy." Marcus spoke, his voice strong and easy to hear. "We have more to worry about than just her." Indigo added, now sounding a bit worried. "There'll be more." Great. Marie's eyes stopped flashing. She remained silent, when her eyes turned yellow and red. Undyne was in control for a moment. "Well, guess that just means there's more people who'll get their ass kicked." Undyne spoke through Marie, to encourage both Marie and the others. Marie's eyes turned black and narrow on the sides. "UNDYNE IS RIGHT! FOR FEAR NOT HUMANS, WE SHALL DEFEAT THIS DARK FORCE LOOMING OVER THIS WORLD!" Papyrus turned around, and Marie was now facing the others. Her eyes flashed to be a light gray, now back to the normal shape. "Th-they're right! W-with our help, a-and Megami's, we'll all defeat Yami, wh-whoever he is! A-and Yukina too!" Alphys' stuttering voice rang out, clear and bright. Marie's eyes went back to normal, and she now had a smile on her face. "Like they all said. We can get through this. Plus, this time, we have a little more help than before." Marie made sure to add that last part, glancing at Indigo, Darien, and Okami. All of their expressions changed from uneasy to hopeful and happy. Okami's eye flashed with happiness, Darien's face brightened with a smile, and Indigo did a small smirk. "Well, we won't disappoint, darling."
