answers to reviewers questions or statements:

Shinobi scribe of the kage: Ehh more of he just keeps tabs on his various disloyal bastards.

Bladewolf101: Nooooo Superman ran to her and hugged her, she didn't run to him. And even if that wasn't the case, why is it a issue that she was glad to see someone that she was going to MARRY after spending the better part of a year in the worse place imaginable, surrounded by some of the most malevolent beings in the multiverse, getting nearly raped at one point, and having to serve her and the League's most hated and powerful enemy?

Jason Chandler: He might, not sure yet.

christianalebron: He sees Peter as useful, that's about it. That's how he sees all of his children, useful and easily replaceable.

Abyss Trinity: I prefer 'That Terrible Strength' but to each their own.

Colbygodofdragons: He won't be using Asgardian weapons but he will be involved in a few intergalactic events.

Mashot Tito: Who said Darkseid will let Peter keep the stones IF he finds them all. And as we'll see, there's a reason why Darkseid never attempted to collect them all himself, or why Thanos was unable to either.

cabrera1234: Maybe.

Chayio: Just because Peter dislikes magic doesn't mean he's ignorant of it or the major powers that utilize it. As for Trigon making an appearance, a brief one later on yes.

CRUDEN: Darkseid knows all.

Deadpool517: It'll be like Venom.

Of all the worlds that Carol's been to, Earth had to be without a doubt the worse.

Aside from the fact that it was so primitive she could barely consider it's cities as nothing more than glorified villages, it's inhabitants were too fragile. Their weapons barely managed to even annoy her and the air was too thin for her liking. Add the fact that they refuse to bend the knee to the great one and have the gull to refuse his lordship did little to endear them to the Kree hybrid.

'We should just reduce this world to a fire pit. There's nothing to gain here at all' Carol thought as she gazed down at the compound where one of the rogue cells of Intergang laid.

She wasn't sure what the name of the city it was half a mile outside of, nor the name of the continent it was located on. It was all the same as far as she could see, a bunch of bundles of fragile meat walking around, making noises. Around the Fury flew her Parademon escort, accompanying Carol more for show than anything else. While they were more than capable of handling these rebellious cells on their own, Carol was much more in favor of a personal touch.

Plus... she had a lot of pent up aggression to work out of her system.

"Have you blocked off all possible routes of escape?" Carol said towards one of the approaching Parademons as she stared down at the compound below with a look of disinterest.

The Parademon responded with a nod along with a few clicks and hisses.

"Good, make sure none escape" Carol said with a nod as she reached up and popped her knuckles "And make sure no one interferes"

Carol didn't bother to wait and listen for the Parademon's response, she shot off towards the compound, breaking the sound barrier after only a second of flight. She quickly reached the compound before the thunderous boom of her breaking the sound barrier even reached the ears of the sentries on post and without batting an eye, flew right through them. Their bodies erupted into explosions of red mist with bits of bone and gore that weren't pulverized from her impact flying into the air.

'So fragile' Carol thought as she landed on the ground with a thundering 'boom', leaving a deep crater where she landed and causing a miniature earthquake to rock the compound.

The various rebel Intergang members that were present in the courtyard were all sent flying back from Warbird's landing. Some slammed into the walls with enough force to shatter their bodies while others simply skidding across the ground until they came to a stoop, battered but alive. Carol looked around to see those that were affected by her sudden appearance already moving to surround her, their weapons, a mixture of both Apokoliptain and human, aimed right at her.

"Who the fuck is this bitch?" one of the rebellious Intergang members cried as he shakily aimed his Apokoliptian plasma rifle at Carol's head.

"Who cares, waste the cunt!" one of the others yelled and as one began to pelt Carol's form with bullets, high beam energy blasts and concussive energy bolts.

Carol's eyes narrowed as she remained where she was, absorbing the vast amount of heat, light and kinetic energy assaulting her. While many of Earth's more durable heroes would be hard pressed to stand up to such a barrage of high end weaponry, Carol's unique energy absorption and Kree New God hybrid physiology allowed her to bare the blunt of the onslaught with ease.

"Not even a challenge... just like the last eight cells" Carol said with a yawn before she raised a hand, glowing with photon energy and began to shoot at the various Intergang members in her line if sight.

Their human bodies were quickly torn to charred shreds as the Fury's energy blasts hit them. It quickly became a rather tedious affair, blasting at every Intergang member she saw and reducing them to charred ashes, almost none of them were wearing any sort of protective armor capable of withstanding Carol's Photon blasts, even when she was hardly putting any energy into them.

"Is there not a single challenge here?" Carol demanded as she made her way towards the compound's main building, a simple three story concrete structure.

A few rebel Intergang members had taken up positions at some of the windows on the upper two floors and began to shoot at Carol. The blonde beauty responded by firing off a concentrated beam of Photon energy at the second story windows and began to slowly, almost lazily, drag the beam across the building's second floor before raising it to the third. The result was a series of small explosions that sent bits of human bodies and smoldering chunks of building flying into the air.

"Honestly, I've taken part in training exercises that are more fun than this" Carol said as she stepped into the building and looked around with a bored expression on her face.

The room was largely empty aside from a few folding chairs and a couple of folding tables lined with broken down human and Apokoliptain weaponry. With a shake of her head, Carol shot off into the air and began to fly through the building at a blurring speed. The walls and floors were quickly torn apart by the shockwave Carol emitted from her flight, further damaging the building's foundations. What few humans were still inside were either killed by Carol flying through them, or by their surroundings when the Fury flew through the room.

Carol was just about to reach the last room, and hopefully the end of this rather dull mission before suddenly a massive explosion engulfed her and the entire compound. The force of the blast knocked Carol to the ground and the heat it produced was almost uncomfortable. With a shake of her head, Carol stood up and looked around to see that she was standing amongst a raging inferno, the walls were practically melting into some disgusting looking orange-ish red sludge. Curious, the New God-Kree hybrid quickly flew out from the inferno and raced into the sky to see just how devastating the explosion was.

It wasn't her doing, too little energy output and the devastation she was seeing was too small. The compound had been reduced to a burning ruin with black smoke billowing into the air. In the distance, sirens could be heard from both law enforcement vehicles and fire suppressant units, not that either would be of much use, the fires were already beginning to die as the explosion seemed to have either sucked up the available oxygen within the immediate area or displace it entirely...

And racing away from the burning compound was a single car, occupied by four individuals.

"Should've stayed and died with the bomb" Carol said with narrowed eyes aimed at the fleeing car and prepared to follow it when a bright green light suddenly engulfed the Fury.

"What the hell was that?"

Carol exhaled through her nose and turned sharply to two men, one with brown hair and a green mask over his eyes, the other red haired and a bare face with a cocky smirk on his, hovering not far from her. Not far behind the duo was Carol's Parademon escort, all gathered up in a large green construct.

Alive and irritated, but imprisoned none the less.

"A bomb, obviously" Carol said with an eye roll "It shouldn't take one of your rings to realize that"

"Yeah, but what kind of bomb?" one of the Green Lanterns asked, the brown haired one, Hal she believed his name was.

"A big one it seems" Carol said in a slow, mocking tone "Perhaps instead of harassing my Parademons, you and your servant should be figuring it out" Carol snapped.

"Servant?" the red haired Lantern, Guy, said with outrage "I ain't his servant! He'd be lucky to be mine!"

"More like unlucky" Hal muttered as the he the cage holding Carol's Parademons dissipate and allow the golden colored soldiers to fly back into the sky "Look we need you t- HEY!"

Carol sped off after the car with the escaping Intergang members before he had a chance to finish what he was saying. Already the car was entering the more populated area of the city, much to Carol's annoyance, trying to find and kill the rebellious little twats would be more difficult if their hiding in a city. the 'Justice League' would throw a fit if one of their precocious humans had so much as a scratch on them. Carol wasn't afraid of any judgement, she was well within her right to do what was necessary to bring those that defy Darkseid's will to justice.

If a few people and a couple of buildings were reduced to ash along the way, oh well.

"HOLD IT!" Hal yelled as he and Guy sped after Carol, farther behind the two Lanterns were the Parademons trying to catch up.

"I CAN STOP HER!" Guy said as he shit his arm out and fired off a powerful beam of concentrated willpower at Carol.

"GUY WAIT DO-" Hal began before he was cut off by the sound of Carol's scream of surprise as she was blasted by the energy attack.

It wasn't quite like anything she's ever been hit by before. It was energy, and thus she could absorb it, but it was different than any sort she's ever encountered. It wasn't light, not entirely, and there was something else mixed with it, something that could almost be described as... alive.

Carol shook her head of the last thought as she corrected herself mid-flight and fired off a blast oof Photon energy at the two lanterns before she continued after the escaping Intergang members. Ever since she began her mission, she's been hounded by members of the 'Justice League', the first being the Martian and the Atlantean, then the speedster and the one that calls himself 'Shazam. Now it was the Green Lanterns, one of whom has been staring at her ass since he and his companion relieved the previous two 'watchers'.

Normally Carol was unbothered by the stares of others, she knew she was beautiful and took great pride in it, especially since her body was so beauitfully displayed in the black leather outfit Peter picked out for her. But at least her previous admirers had the knowledge and decency to keep their opinions on her body to themselves. Only one had the right to her and these bastard Lanterns were not him, never would be in a million years even if they were given control over all the Emotional Spectrums.

'Perhaps Peter can find a way to remove the power of their rings' Carol thought with a dark grin as she zeroed in on the fleeing Intergang members car 'It'll be quite the sight to watch those arrogant smirks turn to terror when their ring fails them in the void of space'

With a chuckle, Carol broke the sound barrier and sped down towards the car before coming to a stop in front of it. The occupants of the car only had time to let out a series of startled screams before the locomotive slammed into Carol's body and completely shattered into a storm of metal, oil, fire and bits of flesh. Carol on the other hand didn't even so much as blink as the remnants of the vehicle flew around and past her before she slowly turned to watch the shattered remains of the car skid across the road, some of which slammed into other cars on the street, before coming to a stop some meters away at an intersection.

Off to the sides, on the sidewalks, the various denizens of the city let out startled screams of terror at the sight of destruction and death and quickly turned and fled. Carol didn't even so much as bother them with a glance of acknowledgement as she slowly floated towards the destroyed car to make sure that whatever survived was dead.

'Though with how fragile these humans are, I won't hold my breath. To think they've been giving Apokolips so much trouble as of late' Carol thought as she neared the wreckage before suddenly a large green octagon appeared in front of her.

Carol frowned in confusion at the shape before one of the Green Lanterns slowly floated down in front of her... it was the annoying one that had been staring at her ass.

"Get. Out. Of. My. Way!" Carol hissed as she balled her hands into fists and began to channel a steady stream of Photon energy into them.

"No can do sweet cheeks" Guy said with a smirk as the glow and his form began to increase "While your on Earth, you play by our rules. That means no collateral damage which you just caused here"

"I am playing by your rules" Carol snarled at the insufferable Green Lantern "These animals broke our Lord's law and will be punished accordingly. Now out of my way!"

"Our lord?" Guy said with a scoff "Sorry babe, but there's only one Lord I acknowledge and last I checked, he didn't look like some discount stone man a museum threw ou-"

Whatever else Guy was about to say was violently interrupted by a powerful beam of Photon energy to his chest that sent him flying back hundreds of meters until his body slammed into a distant skyscraper. The force of his collision shattered the tower's windows almost halfway down it's length and small explosion began to erupt within the floors the Lantern hit. Carol narrowed her eyes at the sight before she turned to leave when she was suddenly met with the hopefully dead human's companion and fellow Green Lantern, his arm outstretched and glowing ring aimed at her.

"I'm afraid you won't be going anywhere after that" Hal said with a stern look on his face "Guy's an ass, and he's definitely had the hit coming for a long time, but he's also right. You operate so long as you limit collateral damage, which you stopped doing the moment you sent Guy through a building and caused a massive traffic jam when you crushed those people back there"

"Than perhaps these people should move next time" Carol scoffed as she made to fly around the Lantern before a solid wall of green light cut her off and began to quickly encircle her until she was in a large glowing birdcage of sorts.

Carol's eyes narrowed as she began to scan her prison before slowly turning towards the Green Lantern, her eyes now glowing with power and rage.

"Let me out Lantern... or you'll whish you end up as well off as your friend is now" Carol threatened.

"That's not gonna happen-" Hal began before he was cut off by Carol suddenly tearing through the cage and sending a punch right into his face.

The force of the blow crated a shockwave that shook the street and caused it to crack while Hal briefly saw stars. Carol watched with a dark grin as the Green Lantern was sent flying down the street and into a oncoming bus, shattering it's windows with his impact and causing the people inside to let out screams of terror. The bus swerved and crashed into several parked cars along the side of the street and caused a few pedestrians on the sidewalk to run in terror less they risk being ran over or hit.

"Look at that, it happened" Carol said as she turned and began to rise into the air.

She saw her Parademons flying towards her and gestured for them to head to the next set of coordinates, it wouldn't be long until word of this cell's destruction reached the others, she needed to move fast if she wanted to get as many as possible before they went to ground.

Not that Carol minded a little digging, it made the chase all the sweeter when she finds them.

...

"YOUR NOT MY FATHER! SO TAKE YOUR CRAP AND SHOVE IT YOU STUPID LITTLE SHI-"

"DON'T TAKE THAT TONE WITH ME YOUNG LADY-"

"OR WHAT?! WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO 'SUPERMAN'? JACK IS WHAT!"

Diana winced at the sound of a door being violently shut, the wood cracking and the frame almost being completely destroyed from the force of the impact.

"KARA YOU OPEN THIR DOOR RIGHT NOW!" Clark shouted in outrage before Kara responded in a slew of Kryptonian that left the former amazon Princess gaping in shock.

Where in hades name did she learn such words?

"Is this a common theme with them?" Diana said as she glanced at Martha who was busy cleaning up the mess that Kara had accidently made earlier, and caused the current animosity between her and her cousin Clark.

As a show of gratitude for last night's dinner, Kara had attempted to make some of Martha Kent's world famous honey pancakes and cinnamon syrup. The results were less than pleasant, with half the kitchen on fire and the other half covered in either flour, honey or egg. While John and Martha appreciated Kara's attempts, Clark was annoyed that Kara had all but destroyed the kitchen and ruined his chance to make Diana any sort of breakfast. Which in turn led to the current argument between the two Kryptonians while John ran to the store to buy some new groceries while Diana and Martha cleaned up the kitchen.

"Not often, but enough to convince a lot of people that they really are related" Martha said with a tired chuckle "Clark sometimes forgets that Kara is a full blown teenager. Even on another world, parental authority is something to be rebelled against"

"It's nice to see somethings are consistent" Diana said with a grin as she used a roll of paper towels to wipe up some of the batter on the countertops before moving to thrown them in the trash.

"What's consistent?" Clark said as he stepped back into the kitchen with a less than pleased expression on his face.

"Teenagers" Diana and Martha said at the same time, causing both to chuckle while Clark looked at them in confusion before he grumbled and began to rapidly move around the kitchen and clean up his cousin's mess.

"Clark, we're perfectly capable of cleaning up this mess ourselves" Diana said with a dry gaze aimed at the Man of Steel.

"I know, but it's helping me calm down" Clark said with a sigh before he glanced back up to where Kara's room was and frowned "Kara if you don't stop making that inappropriate hand gesture I'm gonna-"

"Your gonna join her in being confined to your own room if you don't knock it off" Martha slapped her son's arm with a disproving look on her face "It was an accident Clark. She was imply trying to be helpful. If I remember correctly, your attempts in the past to make your father and I's breakfast didn't end well the first few times either"

"I was nine ma" Clark said with slumped shoulders.

"The first time yes, than fourteen the second and nineteen the third" Martha said dryly before she glanced at Diana "Don't let him fool you, he's terrible at making waffles from scratch"

Diana giggled at this and made to take the trash out before suddenly the door to the backyard opened and one of Diana's Parademons stuck it's head through. Clark and Martha both paused in their cleaning and stared at the alien with surprise, though Clark's look was more of wariness as he put himself between the Parademon and his mother. Diana stared at the creature for a moment before she held the trash bag out and watched as the Parademon quickly swiped it from her hands and retreated back outside. The Amazon made her way to the doorway and leaned against it as she watched the Parademon, quickly joined by it's comrade, begin to tear into the bag and help themselves to the batter within.

"Will they be okay with eating that?" Marta said as she peeked over Diana's shoulder and watched the Parademons help themselves to the trash bag "We still have some leftovers in the fridge"

"They'll be fine. Parademons have stomachs of steel" Diana said with a slight shrug "they eat just about anything really"

Martha hummed at this and quickly retreated back into the kitchen to finish up while Clark came and stood beside Diana.

"I guess Apokolips doesn't have a litter problem?" Clark asked.

"Darkseid doesn't have enough Parademons in the multiverse to cleanse Apokolips of it's trash" Diana stated as she watched the Parademons begin to fight over a few discarded paper plates that were still covered in egg.

Clark nodded silently as they both continued to watch the Parademons before they eventually finished clearing out the bag and quickly took to the skies again to resume their patrol of the property... and left the torn trash bag on the ground.

"I'll get it" Diana said as she stepped out to retrieve the bag before Clark sped past her, gathered up the shredded bag, flew to the trashcan and quickly discarded the pieces before returning to Diana's side all in the blink of an eye.

"I got it" Clark said with that mischievous little grin of his.

"Show off" Diana smiled.

"Show off is my legal middle name" Clark said with a laugh.

"Hmm, Clark 'Show Off' Kent does have a nice ring to it" Diana mused.

"The 'S' had to stand for something didn't it?" Clark teased before a beeping sound caused them to cease their laughter.

Diana watched as Clark reached into his pocket and withdrew a Justice League communicator and answered it, selecting the speaker setting as he went.

"Superman and Wonder Woman here, what is it?" the man of steel said with a serious expression on his face.

Before the two left for the Kent Farm, Clark made sure the rest of the League knew to call him only in the case of a emergency. As in nothing short of invasion from the likes of Brainiac or the return of Starro would get him to leave Diana's side, for ever how long she was on Earth.

"It's Batman, we have a situation" the Dark Knight said in a grim tone.

"What is it Bruce?" Diana said with a worried frown before Bruce's next words left a sense of dread in the pit of her stomach.

"It's Los Angeles, Doctor Fate contacted the League and warned us about some sort of Demonic incursion... and it seems your husband is right in the middle of it Diana"

"What?" Diana said with surprise before she quickly turned and raced up to the guest room where she stored her arms and armor.

Clark watched her go for a moment before he turned his attention back to the communicator in his hands "What's going on there Bruce? How bad is it?"

"Bad, according to Fate, portals to Hell and even parts of it are appearing all over Los Angeles. Civilian fatalities are already in the low hundreds" Bruce said in a even grimmer tone than usual "Zatanna is already en-route with Fate and Marvel while I'm picking up Etrigan"

"You know that magic isn't really my strong suit Bruce" Clark said as Diana appeared, dressed and ready for war, her Mother Sword attached to a scabbard on her back along with her shield while the Lasso of Truth hung from it's usual place on her hip.

Jarnbjorn laid in her hands, it's blade crackling with electricity and causing the hairs on the back of Clark's neck to stand on end.

"You and Diana won't be dealing with the demon infestation. Me and the others will handle it. You and Diana find her husband and find out what the hell he's doing and how he's connected to all of this" Bruce revealed.

"What of Warbird?" Diana asked with a frown "What's her status?"

"She just wiped out another of the rebel Intergang cells outside of Budapest. Aside from a few cuts and concussions, no Civilian casualties mentioned" Bruce said "Though according to Hal, Guy antagonized warbird enough for her to finally hit him"

"Why am I not surprised..." Clark said as he handed Diana the communicator before he suddenly sped up to his own room and dressed before reappearing in the span of a heartbeat "We'll deal with her after we figure out what the hell is going on"

"If she's stayed within her parameters there's nothing we can do Clark" Diana said as she and Clark sped off into the sky, towards Los Angeles, at their current speed, they'll reach the City of angels in a few minutes "As much as I hate to say this, we must respect the rule of law in this situation. These men and women were fully aware of what they were doing when they joined Intergang and the repercussions for rebellion"

"So your saying your okay with your 'husband' and his Parademons going around killing people?!" Clark said with a look that was a mixture of disgust and outrage as the two broke the sound barrier as they left Kansas airspace.

"No, I'm saying that we need to be careful in how we can handle this" Diana corrected with a frown "If we attempt anything openly, attack either Peter or Warbird or jeopardize their mission here, Darkseid may use this as an excuse to break our alliance and-"

"Like that'd be such a bad thing" Clark said with an eye roll before Diana suddenly reached out and grabbed his shoulder and forced him to stop midflight and turn to look at her.

"It will be Clark" Diana said with a haunted look on her face "Because if that happens, my father and he may decide to follow through with their ultimatum and throw the souls of the children in Hades into Tartarus. And I know that Darkseid will not even so much as bat an eye at doing the deed"

Or worse, have some of his 'sons' do the horrid act. The thought of the likes of Zunn touching any child, dead or alive, filled Diana with utter revulsion.

"She's right Clark..." Bruce's voice broke through the tense silence between the two super powered individuals, the two had almost forgotten he was still on the line "Until we can ensure those souls safety, and Diana's, from any sort of retaliation from Darkseid... we'll have to play by their rules"

"I don't like it" Clark growled in frustration, his eyes briefly glowing red from the build up of his heat vision.

"Nor do I Clark..." Diana said as she cupped the man of steel's chin before she sighed and flew past him "Come, we've wasted enough time. Los Angeles still needs our help"

Diana didn't wait to hear Clark's response, whatever he said was drowned out by the sonic boom she emitted when she broke the sound barrier.

...

And done.

Next chapter, an Apokoliptic Exorcism...
