Eret was standing on top of the bridge calling Hiccup out.
"Come on, Dragon, you can't hide from me!" he yelled. "Stop being such a pansy, get out here and fight me already!"
"Who the heck is that weirdo?" Hiccup asked.
"Judging from what those people said, I think that I might be Eret," said Astrid.
"Then we found him," said Hiccup narrowing his eyes. 'He's the one who beat up Snotlout.'
Astrid had never seen Hiccup this angry; there again, if it weren't for Eret, Snotlout might still have been a member of the crew.
"If it wasn't for him," he growled.
"Hiccup…" said Astrid calmly.
"Hey, weirdo!" Hiccup yelled, and Eret's looked down at him. "You what me, you found me."
Meanwhile, the main office report is were still gathering around the place.
"There's still no information?"
"What's going on?"
Palmer and the other shipwrights of Dock one were waiting outside.
"Everyone…" said Kala as she approached them.
"So what's the word?" Palmer asked.
"You may enter, but try to keep your voices down, please," she said.
Palmer looked relieved. "You mean… you mean he's okay?"
"His injuries are still serious, but Mr Iceberg has finally regained consciousness," said Kala with tears in her eyes.
"That's great news!" they all said.
"Come on, let's see how he's doing," said Silvernose.
They soon entered his room, and they could see that Iceberg was very much awake, though they could tell that he was still very weak.
"You're okay," said Palmer.
"That might be a stretch; I have felt better," he said weakly.
"All things considered, you're pretty lucky," said Palmer. "I know you just focus on getting better. In the meantime, you can count on us to take out the shipyard, okay."
"Yes, of course. Now I need to talk to about the people that broke into my room last night."
"Uh, yeah. Well, that still under investigation, I'm afraid."
"No, I remember them."
Everyone's eyes widened.
"There were two, one of them was a large man who was wearing a mask, and the other was a woman," Iceberg explained. "Tall with long black hair… I can never forget those eyes. It has to be her."
Outside, the reporters were leaning against the door and heard that Iceberg was now awake.
"I can't believe what I just heard," said the reporter. "Mr Iceberg is awake, everyone! It looks like our mayor is going to be okay!"
Everyone then immediately burst out into cheers.
"Is that true?"
"All right!"
"I was so worried."
"I knew he would make it!"
However, outside of Dock One, Hiccup and Eret with the beginnings of a confrontation.
"So you're Hiccup, huh?" he said. "Don't expect you to be so scrawny. I've got a bone to pick with you, kid. It seems you and your gang had a little party at my place while I was gone. When I came home now when I see? My houses in shreds, and my gang was on its knees, and it's all thanks to Hiccup. I'll make this as plain as can be; when you mess with my boys, you mess with Eret. I would hate to be you right now because I'm on one hell of a role this weekend and nobody is gonna stop me. Now you can cry if you like, but either way, a pounds you so hard even your own mother won't recognise you when I'm done."
Hiccup raised an eyebrow. "That's not be difficult; I don't even know my mother."
Eret blinked. "Oh, well, that's awkward."
"Never mind that!" Astrid yelled, looking up at Eret. "What you do with our 200 million Gil?"
"You want your money back?" Eret smirked. "Sorry to disappoint you, because I'm afraid I spent it all. You pirates are all a bunch of sore losers, downed at all high and mighty when you probably stole the money from someone else."
"I didn't trash your place because of the money," said Hiccup glaring up at him. "I destroyed it because you attacked a member of my crew. When you attacked one of us, you attack all of us, so you only have yourselves to blame."
"You tell him, Hiccup," said Astrid.
"I'm only sorry you weren't there so I could teach you a lesson," said Hiccup pledging his fist.
"You're stealing my lines, you bastard," said Eret. "Are you trying to make me mad?"
"I don't really care; just get ready to fight," said Hiccup.
People immediately began to panic.
"Uh-oh, everybody gets out the way!"
"Eret is going on a rampage!"
"Runaway!"
Eret then began taking a deep breath.
"Is he holding his breath or something?" Astrid frowned.
"Those are almost the exact same movement I made just before I fire a plasma blast," said Hiccup.
Eret then exhaled, and to their surprise, he was breathing fire straight down towards them. Out of sheer panic, the Squires immediately swam away to avoid the flames, but it was a near thing.
"Did he just spit fire, or am I going crazy?" Hiccup asked.
"No, I saw it as well," said Astrid, equally stunned. "But how?"
Eret smirked. "Oh, you scared? Having second thoughts?"
"Careful; if he can do that, he might have Devil Fruit powers," Astrid warned.
"That doesn't really help," said Hiccup.
Eret then jumped off the bridge and landed in the canal, much to the confusion.
"If he really did eat a Devil Fruit, he wouldn't just jump in the water for no reason," said Hiccup.
"Maybe no one told them that he tried to swim that you would die," said Astrid hopefully.
"I get the feeling we won't get off that easily," said Hiccup.
The Squire then plunged its head into the water, and a few seconds later, it popped out again, looking quite frantic. Suddenly, Eret erupted out of the water, smashing right through their boat, sending the two of them into the air.
"I guess he can swim," said Hiccup.
"I did eat no Devil Fruit; you think I'm crazy," said Eret, smirking.
Hiccup then quickly transformed into his hybrid form and grabbed Astrid. "It makes no difference to me."
Hiccup quickly dropped Astrid onto the shore and then flew directly towards Eret.
"Can't surprise me, I heard about that little power of yours," said Eret raising his fist.
Suddenly his right fist just took off. "Strong Right!"
Hiccup was caught completely by surprise, and the fist slammed right into his chest. He then collided with the gate of Dock One, knocking the air right out of him.
"What?" Astrid stared.
It turned out that Eret's right hand was attached to the rest of his body by a chain, and he began to pull it back. The force of the impact had created a massive dent in the door, and Hiccup then fell towards the ground.
"Hey, are you okay?" Astrid cried.
Eret then made his way onto dry land, and everyone began running away.
Astrid just stared at him. "If you don't have Devil Fruit powers, then what are you?"
Eret looked at her and smiled. "Ah, you poor saps don't know anything now, do you? All right then, I'll humour you. I'm just a normal guy with some extra parts… a cyborg, you might say."
At the main office, Iceberg had just informed them that the woman that had attacked him had Heather.
"One of the Dragon Riders did this?" said Palmer. "You sure about that? Of all people?"
"Yes, and my personal investigation led to the same result," said Kala. "To make sure I had Lael contact the Government to confirm her identity and bounty."
"Yes, they said that she is a notorious criminal, so it's no surprise that she would do something so dastardly to our boss," said Lael.
"Then our next course of action is crystal clear," said Silvernose. "We've got a find those rat scallions and show them what's what."
"What the hell were they thinking?" said Lasse furiously. "Don't tell me that pissed off because we wouldn't fix their ship."
"I wondered that myself, but regardless of what their motivations might be, the bottom line is that there are the culprits, and they need to be dealt with."
"In other words, we should just capture the Dragon Riders and interrogate them ourselves, instead of wasting time trying to figure this crap out," Palmer simplified. "None of this makes sense, but anyone who messes with Galley Law is going to have hell to pay."
Elsewhere Ragnar and his group were still trying to search for Heather, with no luck.
"Keep a lookout for Heather, guys," said Ragnar.
"I'm a little bit more concerned about this Aqua Laguna," said Fishlegs noting that the townspeople were fortifying their homes.
"Do you think it's going to be pretty crazy?" Chopper asked.
"Judging by how, therefore, to find the homes, I don't think they're exaggerating," said Fishlegs. "By midnight tonight, everything is going to be underwater."
"So, do you think there is someone like a tourist that doesn't know that it's coming yet?" Chopper asked.
"I guess," said Ragnar.
"And that guy had a boat he wanted to take care of that storm would be really bad, huh?"
Ragnar knew what he was getting at Snotlout was no doubt of the cape and was unaware of the storm that was coming.
Fishlegs looked at him. "Do you think that we should…"
Ragnar sighed. "That reminds me, you did say that you forgot something on the Tiger, right, Chopper? A medical bag or something?"
Chopper smiled and nodded.
"Sounds like we should go back for it," said Fishlegs looking relieved.
Without, they changed course and made their way towards the cape.
Chopper was very excited that he climbed on top of Ragnar. "I forgot something, hurray! We're going back to the Tiger!"
Ragnar just merely shooked his head.
At the main office, Tilestone was running down the corridor towards Iceberg's room.
"Hey, there's trouble!" he yelled as he slammed the doors wide open and rushed into the room.
"Shut up, Tilestone! Your way the hell too loud!" they all said in unison.
"You fools! You're just as loud as he is!" Kala snapped.
Tilestone then saw that Iceberg was conscious. "Oh, I didn't know you are up already, Mr Iceberg! That's great!"
Palmer then punched him in the head and pushed him out of the room. "He may be awake, but that doesn't mean you should screen his ears off! Take it down a notch or two, okay."
"I'm sorry!" said Tilestone. "I can't help it, I swear!" He then sat up and looked at him. "Oh, I almost forgot to tell you something."
"Fine, but stay outside. You can tell me from over there."
"We have trouble with that Dragon guy; I don't know what happened, but he got in with a big fight with Eret, and they're both trekking up the shipyard! If we don't stop them, who knows what they'll do!"
Upon hearing Hiccup's name, Palmer's eyes turned furious.
"Dragon Conqueror again?" said Lael. "Well, at least we know where to find him."
"He's got some nerve," said Palmer. "I'll teach that pump to show his face on our turf."
With that, he and the other shipwrights then ran towards Dock One.
"Now you can finally have some peace and quiet; let them take care, Dragon Conqueror," said Kala as she sat down next to Iceberg. "I'll be watching over you in the meantime. So there's no need to worry."
Hiccup and Eret were still fighting in the shipyard, and Hiccup had just taken a punch from Eret. It was so powerful that he was sent flying crashing into some machinery.
Hiccup then quickly spread his wings and then zoomed towards Eret, raising his fist. "Dragon Fist!"
He punched Eret hard in the face and sent him flying into some lumbar. The little skirmish was causing massive damage to the shipyard, and the people working there were panicking.
"Watch out. It's coming down!"
"You're trashing the ship!"
"Stop it, both of you! Fight somewhere else!"
"Hiccup, tear him to pieces!" Astrid yelled.
"Hey, bro!" said Kalena.
"You got to put on a good show," said Kaley.
Hiccup and Eret were both back on their feet and took up fighting stances.
"You're a lot tougher than I thought you'd be," Hiccup admitted. "But I'm still going to take you down."
Eret laughed. "If you say so, though it's going to take a long ass time with weenie attacks of yours!" He then held out his left hand, which then twisted and folded back, revealing a cannon in his left arm, and his left hand became some sort of targeting scope. "Weapons Left!"
He then fired a blast out of his left arm, and Hiccup quickly flew out of the way. A good thing he did because the blast was as powerful as any cannon.
"Dragon Whip!" Hiccup yelled as he swung his tail at Eret, who quickly blocked it.
Then suddenly the two of them got punched in the face Hiccup crashed into some machinery will Eret crashed into some supplies.
"I can't see; it looks like they both got hit."
"No, look who it is."
"Okay, who just punched me?" Hiccup asked.
Hiccup and Astrid then saw the shipwrights had arrived.
"This is too easy; if you knew what was good for you, you would have skipped town a long time ago," said Palmer, who had been the one that punched Hiccup. "You're in for it now."
"Galley Law," said Eret looking annoyed. "Great, that's just what I need."
"All right! The guy from Dock One finally made it! Lock those losers and throw away the key!"
Hiccup looked at them, and he felt as if something was off. All five of them seemed rather serious, and they were all looking directly at him for some reason.
"All right! The foreman will take care of these guys!"
"That was close; if they didn't show up, the whole shipyard was going to get totalled."
"I bet those guys hate Eret too," Astrid smiled.
"I would but out of this if I were you," Eret warned the foreman. "Once these fist start rocking and rolling, they don't discriminate between pirates and shipwrights."
"And that goes for other people's property too," Silvernose added. "Surely you don't expect us to stand here gobsmacked while you wreck our entire shipyard."
"I'm warning you, Eret, if you don't pay for these repairs in Gil, you'll pay them in blood!" Tilestone roared.
"All right, Tilestone, calm down," said Palmer. "We can take care of Eret some other time." He then turned his eyes towards Hiccup. "We've got more important business to deal with right now. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Dragon. You know exactly what I'm talking about. I don't know you're brave or stupid, but either way, you're dead."
Hiccup looked at them, confused. "I don't know what you're talking about. We only came here because we heard the news about Iceberg."
Palmer looked at him furiously.
"Was enough to wreck my house and become my boys, huh?" said Eret. "What's wrong? Don't feel like a man unless you're pounding the crap out of shipwrights too? I know that puberty can make you do some really crazy stuff, but wow."
"I don't have any clue what's going on, so why don't you keep your trap shut!" Hiccup snapped.
"Play innocent all you like; I won't go easy on you," said Palmer as he pulled out his rope. "Rope Action: Half Knot!"
The rope then suddenly wrapped itself around his throat, making it difficult to breathe.
"Can't breathe," Hiccup choked.
Palmer then pulled on the rope dragging Hiccup along with it, and then slammed him into some crates.
"Power Drive!" Palmer yelled.
"Damnit, just go away!" Eret roared. "I told you, shipwrights, to stay out of this, didn't I? I'm the one who owes this guy a beating, not you!"
Silvernose then pulled out several chisels, Tilestone stretched his arms, Lasse pulled out a pair of pistols with double barrels, and Lael took up a fighting stance.
"Go get them! Show them what you're made of!"
"There's no way they can beat the top by shipwrights in the city!"
Astrid just stood there, shocked, wondering what was going on. "What? Why other shipwrights fighting against us too?"
Hiccup lifted himself up and looked at them. "What are you doing? I don't have any reason to fight you guys. Just hold on a left talk this out."
Lasse responded by firing at Hiccup, but he quickly transformed into his hybrid form and shielded himself from the bullets.
"Would you look at that? He's got Devil Fruit powers," said Lasse. He then quickly rushed in and kicked him across the face with enough force that caused him to skid across the ground.
"Hey, stupid! Are you even listening?" Eret yelled. "How many times do I have to tell you bozos!" He then twisted his left forearm, which slid upwards, revealing some sort of Gatling gun and fired. "Dragon Conqueror is mine, dammit!"
This forced Palmer to back away, and Silvernose immediately jumped into the air but directly behind Eret.
"Sorry, Eret, but we don't have time for your shenanigans today," said Silvernose as he swooped down towards him.
"Get the hell out of my way, you flying monkey!" said Eret aiming directly at him.
"You're the one who's in the way, Eret!" Tilestone roared and struck Eret with a large piece of lumber, sending him flying into the sky.
"Oh yeah!"
"That's our Tilestone! He's even stronger today!"
While Eret was soaring upwards, Silvernose grabbed him on his way down, grabbing his waist with his hands and looking his feet around his neck. He then slammed him down to the ground with all his might headfirst.
Lael was fighting Hiccup, who was on the defensive, with his bare hands.
"Stop it!" Hiccup yelled, pushing Lael back.
Lael spun around and then slammed his palm into Hiccup's chest, sending him crashing into one of the ships.
"You guys are strong," said Hiccup as he sat up. "But I still have no idea why we're fighting?"
Palmer then approached him. "Dragon Conqueror, I think we're the ones who deserve an explanation here, not you. Someone broke into Iceberg's house last night. Shot him twice in the front and three times in the back before they left. They were from your crew!"
Astrid's eyes widened in shock. "That can't be! None of us would do that!"
Eret rubbed his head. 'I'm never going to settle this, am I?'
Hiccup just looks confused, wondering what in the world was going on.
Iceberg was lying down on his bed, contemplating the recent events. Last night he remembered Heather and a large masked man appearing in his office. Then the man in the mask shot him; there was just about all he could remember.
'That was Heather Owson; there's not a single doubt in my mind,' he said. 'But was that masked man one of the Dragon Riders as well? And why did they attack me in the first place? Surely it wasn't about their ship. No, they must be aiming to steal something but seeing as they left empty-handed, I have a good idea what they're looking for. The question is, were they working with the Government, or they wanted it for themselves?'
When he first met Hiccup, he wasn't quite sure what to think of him. "Dragon Conqueror Hiccup…"
Soon the news of the culprit of the assassination attempt spread throughout the entire city.
"Breaking news! Iceberg has already identified the culprit on the break-in last night!"
"What? Is that true?"
"Spread the word through the city, and we'll capture them ourselves! We can't let those criminals leave Water 7!"
"Who did it?"
"Show no mercy to the monsters who attacked our mayor. Capture the Dragon Rider Pirates no matter what it takes!"
