This is the 29th chapter of the crossover story. Okay, this is the third side story and the final chapter of Season 2. Don't panic, I'm still working on this story and I'll be working on the 3rd season of this story. So again, thank you for reading this story.

Kuoh Academy, Occult Research Club Room.

The next day, Virgil's adopted family decided to return to Gran Pulse since they'll be planning to form a party for his 18th birthday today while his biological parents and Gabriel return to Heaven to help Michael restart the system so Xenovia and Asia can pray once more. Rias have told Virgil that Sirzechs have made contact with the Phenex family which they would love to see Gran Pulse while she called Kiyome about coming to his home planet since he'll be turning 18 today, much to her delight since she accepts. Of course, Sona and her peerage would love to see Virgil's home planet and to see the nekoshou's.

However, Lightning have told her adopted son that she was also chosen to become a champion by Etro which it was surprising and shocked to him. She'll be there to fight by his side to fight against the worse enemies in the future which it's her new goal.

During the time after school, Rias, her peerage, Sona, Tsubaki,Tosca, Kuroka, and Tosca have arrived at the old school clubhouse, but what got them surprised was that Azazel have sat in Rias desk with a smirk along with Kalawarner and Mittelt who were standing right next to him. Everyone in the was staring at him, wondering why were they here.

"And so, starting from this day forward, I have become the advisor for the Occult Research Club." Azazel told them, leaving Rias surprised.

"Wait, you can't be serious." Rias said, crossed her arms under her breasts.

"Oh, but I am; I asked Sirzechs and everything." Azazel shrugs. "He told me I should talk to Serafall's little sister about it."

With that, everyone looked at Sona.

"You did this, Sona?" Issei questions.

"Look, I didn't have much of a choice." Sona told them, closed her eyes. "If I didn't agree with it, my sister threatened the worst. She said she'd come instead."

"So basically, what you mean is you sold us out?" Rias questions with a mocking glare.

"Anyway, I'll leave you to it." Sona said, adjusting her glasses as she and Tsubaki were about toleft.

"Hey, Sona!" Rias called her, but it was too late.

Sona and Tsubaki closed the door and left the old school clubhouse. It would seem that they're gonna have to put up with the Governor-General of the Fallen Angels since he's gonna be with them along with the other two Fallen Angels. When they turned back to Azazel, Issei spoke.

"Dude, where did you get that arm?" Issei asks curiously.

"Oh? My new friend here is the omnipotent arm I made during all my Sacred Gear research." Azazel explains when he showed his cybernetic arm that can shift and transform, much to their surprise. "I've always wanted to equip something like this, I'm so glad I did."

When Azazel rolled up his sleeve, the mechanical arm then launched, causing them to duck down to avoid it.

"You know, I actually think that you cut your arm on purpose just so could have an excuse to use that." Virgil stated bluntly.

"You're sharp as ever kid." Azazel admits without a hint of shame when his arm then reattached itself. "Now, understand that Sirzechs had one condition for me. I cannot stay here unless I provide a gift to you."

"Yeah? What kind of gift?" Gasper questions when he popped his head out of the box.

"As long as I'm around, I will help properly develop your immature Sacred Gears." Azazel answered with a smirk, chuckled as he turned to Issei. "The mysterious Boosted Gear with unpredictable evolution."

That got Issei glaring at him as he then turned to Kiba.

"The Holy Devil Sword."

Then he turned to Tosca.

"The Time Kaleidoscope."

He then finally turned to Gasper.

"And Forbidden Balor View."

That cause Gasper to hide back inside of the box as Azazel spoke.

"I can use the research I've done to evolve them on an individual level, understand?" Azazel said. "So then, from now on, you call me Mr. Azazel, okay?"

"Us, 'Mr. Azazel'?" Issei parrots, scratching the back of his head. "Dude, nothing personal but that feels weird in my mouth."

"Yeah, let's not push it that far." Virgil added.

"I'll be looking forward to working with you all." Azazel said as he walked away from the desk towards the window.

"Hold it! I never agreed to this! How could we even trust you!?" Rias protests.

"You don't have a choice." Mittelt told her. "Besides, it's Azazel you're talking about, he can do whatever he wants."

"Oh yeah." Azazel said, turning his head to her. "Sirzechs gave me another message for you as well."

Rias was taken aback by the news with her raised eyebrow.

"Another message?" Rias questions.

"It seems when he stayed at Issei's house previously, he learned the importance of a good skinship between Household members." Azazel stated as he then turned directly to them. "Notably for you, apparently that's what the Red Dragon Emperor needs to charge his power."

"Okay, I don't get what you're saying." Issei said with a small smile, confused.

"Alright then, this is an official order in the name of the Great Devil King Lucifer. All of the current female members of the Occult Research Club are hereby directed to move in with Issei immediately. There you go." Azazel announced.

That got both Rias and Issei shocked when they heard of Sirzechs orders, but for some reason, Issei was happy about it. Rias look frustrated, but can't go against her brothers orders which she sighed with defeat. Akeno was giggling while Asia was flabbergasted and was sad that she won't live with Virgil anymore. Xenovia looked determined, muttering about having a chance to make a baby with Issei. Koneko was expressionless as usual, but really irritated about it.

"Well I'd rather stay with Kiba." Tosca said firmly. "So don't try to pull out some excuse because I'm putting my foot down and I refuse to go."

"I'm staying here with my mate." Kuroka added seriously. "Since I marked him, I refuse to leave him."

"What!?" Kalawarner shouts with shock. "Tell me you didn't?!"

"That's right, I've done it with him." Kuroka admits with a smirk. "Keep that in mind that Virgil is my mate."

"No way! Just because you done it with him, that doesn't mean that he's not mine." Asia argues.

"No! This l'Cie is mine!" Koneko argues. "He save my sister and I want him!"

"So what!? He gave me and Kalawarner a second chance!" Mittelt exclaims. "Also, we fought alongside him since yesterday!"

"CUT IT OUT!" Virgil yelled when he cast thunder magic. "This argument isn't getting anywhere, so knock it off!"

They then began to apologize to him with sincere, leaving Virgil sighed with annoyance as Azazel spoke.

"Also, I have a gift for you." Azazel told him, earned his attention as he then extends the gunblade to him. "I've manage to gather some blueprints of the gunblade from your mother. I've manage to put some parts of the Sword of Light and the Holy Gun together in a gunblade. I called it, Holy Edge. This bad boy not only transformed and shoot bullets, but it can also give you the edge to use 'Holystrike'. So, happy birthday."

That got Virgil surprised when the Governor-General of the Fallen Angel gave him a gunblade as a birthday present which he only got the Blazefire Saber from Lightning and the Immortal Order sword, Nemesis shield, and the Paladin attire from Gabriel. He then accepts it as he then takes the gunblade from him.

"Thank you." Virgil thanked him.

"Well, with that out of the way, I suppose we'll be heading to Gran Pulse since his family and the others have made a party for him." Azazel said with a smirk.

"Wait, we're heading to Gran Pulse? Like now?" Issei questions with shock.

"That's right. So, go home and get change cuz' we'll be leaving in about few hours." Azazel stated.

With that, everyone began to leave the Kuoh Academy and head to their houses to get change and see what Virgil's home planet was like since they're finally getting excited to see it.

Town of Kuoh

When everyone made their way to different homes, Virgil, Kuroka, Asia, and Koneko were heading to their rooms and gets change. Of course, they also need to have their swimsuits in case if they're planning to go at the beach and set of change of clothes. Virgil then stopped himself when he looked at the picture with a smile, getting the nostalgia of his fond memories.

Flashback, New Bodhum 9 years ago

It had been 9 years since Virgil was adopted and being apart of the Farron family, he was getting a new home around him, made great friends with NORA, and was really happy. Even though, he's been in training with his mother since 4 years and he's been practicing during early morning which it's his time off today. He was sitting on a sofa in the living room doing his homework next to his aunt while she had a sketchpad on her left hand and a pencil on her right hand sketching.

He then took a look and his eyes were wide open in complete awe, couldn't help but stare at her drawing. On her sketchbook were two women standing next to each other with weapons in their hands taking their battle stance.

The one on the right has olive skin and wavy dark black hair with a braid behind her left ear, green eyes, and a beauty mark underneath her right eye. She wore a short black top, black tattoo on her right arm, black sleeve over her forearm, tan leather open-toed sandals, and two fur pelts hanging from the cord beneath a belt which its holding her Bladed Lance. This is Oerba Yun Fang, one of the heroes who helped his mother and uncle in the past, and a l'Cie who woke up 500 years later and fell asleep again. Although, Serah haven't met her, yet she's pretty good at drawing people with the help of her friends telling her based on what they look like.

The other on the right is the young girl with a red hair tied into curled pigtails, green eyes, and silver hooped earrings on her ears. She wore a light pink halter top, an yellowish orange skirt, and beige boots. This is Oerba Dia Vanille, she met her once and if anything, Serah would love to see her again and Fang.

However, they're both holding up the Cocoon, preventing it from falling to its doom.

"Aunt Serah." Virgil called his aunt, earned her attention while looking at him with her soft smile.

"Yes, Virgil?" Serah asked with her smile intact.

"Who are these two?" Virgil asked, pointing the sketch.

"They're our good friends, Virgil." Serah answered, placing the pencil on her ear.

"How come I haven't met them?" Virgil asked again, but some reason, Serah was sad.

"It's hard to say." Serah said before she smiled again. "But I can tell you this, they did something noble that made them heroes, and now they're gone."

Even though, she only told her nephew the half-truth. If she told him about the whole truth, it would break his heart.

"So, where are they now?" Virgil asked curiously, wanting to know about Fang and Vanille.

"I'll tell you when you're older." Serah answered before kissed him on the forehead.

"Okay." Virgil replied before looking at her sketch again. "Your drawing is really good."

That got Serah enveloped him with a hug and smile.

"Aww~ thanks Virgil, you're such a sweetheart." Serah said before kissing him on the cheek, making him blush.

"Can you teach me how to draw?" Virgil asked as they let go while her hands on his shoulders.

"Of course! What kind of an aunt would I be if I say 'no' to you, sweetie?" Serah said brightly with her eyes widen. "Oh, I almost forgot! Isn't tomorrow your birthday?"

Virgil gave his aunt a nod as she spoke.

"Then how about I get you a sketchpad for your birthday tomorrow?" Serah asks.

"Okay!" Virgil exclaims with a smile, making his aunt giggle softly at his smile which its one of those things she likes about him.

"I'm home." The voice called by the door as they both look to see Lightning back home.

"Mom." Virgil called as he run up to her.

Lightning smiled softly at her son as she got down to her knees and hugged her son.

"Hello Virgil, did you behave like I told you to while I was at work?" Lightning asked.

He replied with a nod with a grin, a grin that clearly tells her that he has been doing what he has been told to do.

"That's good." Lightning said before turned to her sister. "Serah, thank you for watching Virgil while I was gone. I know it must be difficult taking care of a child while you're a couple of months pregnant."

"Hey, don't worry about it." Serah told her sister before picking up her nephew up in her arms and hugging him, making him laugh. "I'm just happy that I'd get to spend some quality time with my nephew."

"Well tomorrow is Virgil's birthday, which means we get to spend the day together as a family and I've already planned out on what we'll be doing." Lightning said as she pulled out a notepad, writing things down.

"Really?" Virgil asked, earned a nod from his mother. "Like what?"

"It's a surprise." Lightning replied before putting her notepad away.

Virgil then gave her a nod with understanding, not wanting to spoil a surprise since his birthday is tomorrow. He'll be turning 10 tomorrow and they're going to spend the day together as a family.

Flashback ended

Town of Kuoh

He smiled warmly at that memory before he decided to get change while placing some clothes and swimsuits in the bag. It turns out that he remembered that they spend together at the amusement park, rode on a roller coaster ride, play games and win prizes, and meet costumed characters like Moogle, Chocobo, and Cait Sith.

'That was one of the best birthdays I've ever had.' Virgil mentally thought as he heads out of his room. 'I'm finally coming home.'

When he got of his room, he then noticed that Kuroka, Asia, and Koneko were standing in front of him with a smile.

"You ready to go?" Kuroka asks.

"Yeah." Virgil nods with a reply.

Until, they heard a knock on the door as Virgil and the three girls headed downstairs when he opens the door, revealed that was Rias, Issei, Xenovia, Tosca, Kiba, Gasper, Kiyome, Azazel, Mittelt, Kalawarner, Sona, her peerage were standing outside, waiting for them.

"Everyone ready?" Azazel questions with a smirk, earned a nod from them. "Good. Okay Virgil, open up the portal so we can see what Gran Pulse looks like."

Virgil then began to open the portal which it can lead to his home planet.

"Alright everyone, this is where it leads to Gran Pulse." Azazel told them. "Also, his family have already picked up Rias' and Sona's family along with the House of Phenex, Virgil's biological parents, Michael, and Gabriel which they've already given them a helping hand for the party."

"Hell yeah!?" Issei exclaimed excitedly. "Gran Pulse here we come!?"

With that, everyone went inside of the portal since they're eager to see Gran Pulse as the portal closed behind them.

Gran Pulse, New Bodhum

When the portal opens, Virgil, Rias and her peerage, Sona and her peerage, Kiyome, Tosca, Kuroka, and three Fallen Angels got out of the portal. They saw the seaside village located some distance from Cocoon's pillar and the long beach at the sea. Everyone except Virgil couldn't help but stare at it with complete awe.

"Everyone, welcome to my home planet, Gran Pulse and my hometown, New Bodhum." Virgil announced with a smile.

"Whoa, dude! This is awesome!" Issei said with excitement.

"I totally agree! I mean you get to play at the beach!" Saji added with an agreement.

Rias and Sona then pulled their ears, knowing that those two might try something perverted.

"Down boy." Rias said with annoyance.

Issei and Saji cringed with pain as Kiba spoke.

"So, this is what Gran Pulse looks like up close?" Kiba questions with a smile.

"That's right." Virgil replied with a nod. "This place attracts tourist since they brought back the fireworks for the festival which it got them famous back at the day."

"Do you think there would be fireworks tonight?" Asia asks with a smile.

"Absolutely, we do this for every year and it became a major tourist attraction." Virgil told her.

"I gotta say, I'm really starting to like this planet." Azazel admits with a smirk.

"Won't there any food to eat?" Koneko questions.

"There's a cafe right on the beach that serves up a fatally delicious white-fish." Virgil explains, leaving both Issei and Saji scared. "Even though, they tried asking Lebreau what was in it which she told them that they don't want to know."

That got Issei and Saji face paled, not wanting to eat the white-fish. Tosca then look at the huge crystallize Cocoon as she spoke.

"What's that over there?" Tosca questions curiously. "It's almost like some kind of planet."

"That's an artificial world called Cocoon." Virgil answered. "It's artificial world that was created by Fal'Cie, a vessel holding millions of people until its power source called Orphan was destroyed and fall to it's destruction. Luckily, two people Fang and Vanille both transformed into a creature called a Ragnarok and created a pillar from the ground up by crytsallizing both Cocoon and themselves. Since then, we've been living in New Bodhum ever since."

That got them shocked of what Fang and Vanille have done which it was pretty amazing and sad. Both Rias and Sona have read the encyclopedia about the Cocoon which it's the same one that Fang and Vanille have crystallized.

"But how come we've seen them?" Saji asks curiously.

"Well, both Fang and Vanille were time travels since I first met them back at the abandoned church." Virgil told him. "What we've learned so far was that the Cocoon was still holding and they won't wake up for the next 600 years."

Saji was shocked of his explanation along with Sona and the others. Rias and her peerage were the only ones who knew about those two which it's nothing new to them.

However, Virgil and the others then decided to head towards New Bodhum which it was surrounded by residents that lived here, refugees from the former Cocoon town, Bodhum, and the nekoshou refugees which they're now repopulated thanks to Hope's device. When they got here, the nekoshou children noticed that Virgil was home as they charge after him.

"Virgil." The nekoshou children called him with a smile.

"Hey you guys, how have yo-UUUUFFF?!"

Virgil got his answer when the four nekoshou children tackled him to the ground, leaving the girls giggled a bit while Kiba chuckled, and Issei and Saji smiled.

"We heard that you're coming back." One of the female nekoshou named Myra said with a smile.

"We thought you'd be gone forever." The other female nekoshou named Rhea added with teary eyes.

"I've only been gone for months." Virgil told them with a smile.

"But to us, you've been gone for years." One of the male nekoshou named Loke told him.

"And who are these guys?" The third female nekoshou named May asks.

With that, Virgil stood up from being tackled as he then introduces them to his friends, much to their surprise since the nekoshou children noticed that they were actually Devils and Fallen Angels. Virgil then lead them towards the cafe which that's what he's been told by Lightning.

When they arrive at the cafe, the lights were on and everyone came and said.

"Surprise! Happy Birthday Virgil!"

That got Virgil surprised when he saw his adopted family, his biological family, the two archangels, the Phenex family, the Sitri family, Serafall, and the Gremory family were here in the cafe. Virgil remembered that Azazel told them about them coming to Gran Pulse today which they also came here for his 18th birthday as Sirzechs spoke.

"Virgil Farron, we wanted to thank you and your family for what you've done for us, you've been a great help to all of us." Sirzechs said with a sincere smile. "And to show our gratitude, we would like to present this gift to you."

With that, Sirzechs then summons his red magic to reveal a gunblade which it's different than the Holy Edge.

"This is called, Demon Edge. This gunblade allows you to use the Power of Destruction magic like mine and Rias'." Sirzechs explains. "Also, it can help you raise your resistance, and magic."

"How is it that you get a hold of that? Azazel did told me that he gathered those blueprints for the gunblade." Virgil questions.

"Oh? Sirzechs ask me to lend him one so he can ask Ajuka to make one." Azazel told him. "Ajuka Beelzebub is one of Four Great Devil Kings, like Sirzechs and Serafall. Also, he has a knack of making things like I do."

"And, he was the one who made the Evil Pieces." Sirzechs added. "Also, he wants me tell you that he is sorry for not coming."

Virgil gave him a nod with an understanding as he then take the Demon Edge, looking at it which he knew that demonic power within this gunblade.

"Thank you." Virgil thanked him, earned a nod from Sirzechs.

"Okay with that taking cared of, let's party!?" Snow shouts. "That's what we're here for our birthday boy!?"

Virgil couldn't help but chuckle of his adopted uncle's antics which they decided to party, much to Issei and Saji's excitement and with that, they then celebrate for his 18th birthday.

Everyone had a great time at Gran Pulse which of course, Issei went pervy at those female residence at the beach when both Koneko and Virgil just beat him into a pulp. Nevertheless, Rias was doing what she can to keep him under a short leash since she told him not embarrass her. Ravel and her family were catching up with the former Phenex servants since they have a lot to talk about, they even told them that they're getting stronger by fighting monsters and getting well-adjusted of living in New Bodhum, much to their surprise. Lebreau did also told them that they taught them cooking and Serah told them that Xuelan was a good babysitter for taking care of her daughter. Both Lightning and Hope were telling Sirzechs and Serafall that the nekoshous were holding up well since their race were repopualting which they were relieved to hear it, but the two have told them that they're planning to form an alliance with the other factions.

Sirzechs' son named Millicas interacts with Nora which to Virgil's surprise that he was polite to her. He was probably the same age as her and they seem to get along while Gasper then tried to socalize with the others which he was making some progress, just a little bit.

Kiyome were interacting with the nekoshou refugees while trying to catch those chocobos which they're pretty hard to catch, but with her Beast Tamer ability, she was able to catch one.

Virgil have received presents from his family and his friends, an Exorcist attire from both Cornelius and Griselda, Dark Muse attire and Infidel shield from Zeoticus and Venelana, Guardian's Protector shield from Michael, Knight of Etro attire, Overture gunblade, and Goddess's Grace shield from Lightning, a sketch of him in a fighting stance from Serah, a pack of Phoenix tears from the Phenex family, Carbuncle figurine from Nora, Falcon charm from Snow, Celestial Body armor, Aegis Shield, and Ul'dahn Blade from Gabriel, Warrior's Emblem from NORA members, and a porno magazine form Issei which he told them that it was Matsuda and Motohama's idea, causing Virgil to sigh with annoyance as he burned it, wasted their efforts since Issei figured that he didn't like that, but he did give him a Red Dragon scale to him. Even though, Virgil doesn't know what to do with, but Azazel told him that it's a good idea which he can spruce up with something.

The former Phenex servants and Kalawarner were wearing a skimpy outfits to entertain the white-haired l'Cie who was the audience by dancing and showing their sexuality, making him blushed with embarrassment. Mittelt and Lebreau told him to at least humor them since they've worked very hard for this routine in two weeks and the fact that this is considered their birthday present to him. Kuroka and Koneko knew that he would get uncomfortable from this when they sat next to him for moral support to help him get through this since they're the audience who were watching him.

Issei however was watching the former Phenex servants with perverted eyes, blushing with his perverted grin. Rias simply frowned of his perverted antics while Lightning and Serah were staring at him with deathly glares, causing Issei to snap out of his thoughts when he felt a dreaded chill right down to spine, causing him tremble with fear. Ravel just couldn't help but blush of her friends outfits which it's erotic, but her family noticed that she really likes Virgil.

"Well, it looks like Virgil became quite the ladies man." Snow said with a smirk.

"It sure looks that way." Azazel agrees with a smirk, drinking an alcohol. "He made an impression of himself since he got here on Earth few months ago."

"That and he's been an asset to us since he remained human and became a l'Cie." Sirzechs stated. "He may not be aware, but in our customs in the underworld, we can marry more than one and form a harem. Of course, that was Issei's goal since my sister told me about him."

"Which I find that amusing since Issei was making a little progress." Azazel added. "While Virgil was making his own which he doesn't know that."

"Actually, he can only marry one." Lightning intervenes. "I've given Kuroka my blessing since she was with him and I trust her that she can protect him."

Serah then walk towards them as she spoke.

"Apparently, both Asia and Koneko loved Virgil since he treated them like their siblings, but as far as I know, they wanted to become more than just that." Serah told them. "If I have to guess, they really wanted to have him as a husband."

Lightning was shocked of her sister's words while Azazel and Sirzechs then look at two, staring at them with her death glare which it cause them shrivel up with fear.

"I'm gonna have a word with those two once this dance was over." Lightning said with a sigh.

Few hours later, everyone were having fun at beach, including Issei and Saji which they were having a blast in the sea. Lightning was having some serious discussions with Asia and Koneko which it have something to do with Virgil while Gabriel wants to have some private talk with her Godson. Both Gabriel and Virgil were alone at the beach, looking at the sunset which it was a beautiful sight as she spoke.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Gabriel asks with a smile. "I'll never forget this beautiful sunset. It'll be nice to see it again whenever I've had the time."

Virgil couldn't help but smile at her Godmother since she really admired the sunset.

"That was a noble thing you did back there." Gabriel told him. "Even though Vali did betray us since he secretly work with Orphis."

"Well neither of us knew about Vali's true intentions." Virgil pointed out. "Besides, we all made mistakes from time-to-time. And you can correct your mistakes."

Both Gabriel and Virgil then look at them having a good time at the beach which they deserve some good fun. Even though, they pretty much earned it. Kuroka then manage to find those nekoshous that were taken refuge here in Gran Pulse which they were patching things up a bit.

"I don't know if you know, Virgil. When you were born, Cornelius and Griselda made me your Godmother." Gabriel told him.

"I know." Virgil simply shrugs.

"Well, I can understand if you choose to stay with your adopted family, but if you ever wanted a different home." Gabriel said.

"You mean, I can live with them?" Virgil questions with shock.

"Well, it's a sort I can understand if you don't want too." Gabriel answered.

Virgil was bit hesitant since Gabriel was offering him a choice to live, but Lightning, Cornelius, and Griselda have already made their decision since about weeks ago during the open house.

"Gabriel." Virgil called her, earned her attention. "If I ever choose, it would break their hearts and I don't want that. They don't want to force me to make a decision either only because I'm their son. It doesn't matter where I go or whom I live with because they loved me for who I am, no matter where I go, and no matter what anybody says, I will always be their son. And I will always be your godson."

Gabriel was then on a verge of tears, felt touched by his words. She then embraced her godson with a heart-warming hug, leaving Virgil hugged her in return. Both his friends and family noticed that those two were hugging each other which to everyone, it was heartwarming since they overheard everything. Of course, they knew that Virgil was right which it was something that they'll never forget about his words.
