A/N: Sorry if it took a while to get this chapter out, I'm a bit slow at writing big fights… anyway I hope you like it and consider leaving a review since we are just a couple of chapters away from the end!
Chapter 26:
The end of Sin
Part 6
The beast that shouted despair at the heart of the universe
Inside of Lilith
"Samuel… what… is that thing?"
Kyoko asked as she hid behind him for protection, with Asuka, Shinji and Yui behind her too.
"That… is what my dad is trying to avoid turning into once again because you see, during the first third impact…
He's the one who killed all of those people, actually, the entire universe"
As he said this, he felt her hug him more tightly while both of them couldn't get their eyes off of the gruesome scenery.
A moment later, the angels flew slowly under one of Samuel's wings, searching for protection, but then Leliel noticed something strange about the Father and so she said:
"Wait… he has something in his eyes… it looks like…
he's crying?"
And so Samuel took a closer look at his father and he finally noticed how there seemed to be drops of fire and magma falling from the two giant flames that were his eyes.
"Wait… if he was sad about this… I knew it!"
"That's… perfect actually"
"Sorry what?" Leliel asked as everyone turned to look at him once more.
And as he turned around he answered:
"It means that my theory about him is true, that even if he has all that evil in himself… He's still a kind guy, so…
To prevent this from happening again we just need to keep him emotionally stable.
It wasn't the beginning of the third impact that made him turn into that, it was the added fact that he had been betrayed by his own people who then ended up suffering that crushed him and the same is happening now.
As long as the fight remains just like it is now, so simply a fight between the two to stop the impact, then everything will be okay.
Unfortunately… I feel that Davoth is near"
That last sentence made the Slayer's life sphere shine with a powerful red light and as Samuel turned to look at him he said:
"You'll get your chance to fight Slayer, but for now we need to figure out how to get out of-"
Suddenly Kaworu shouted:
"Brace for impact!"

And then suddenly the memory ended as all of them were violently thrown in the air as Lilith finally landed on Mars after taking continuous fire from the Father.
The entire planet shook after something the size of a moon landed on its surface, but it held on as the white giant and the group inside started getting up again.
As Keel looked back up, he saw the Father coming at him at full speed, but he finally got a chance to use the black moon as he put it between the two of them and sent it flying towards him.
The Father cut through the black moon as if it was made of air, but this had given Lilith enough time to pull out the Lances and block his attack.
Then the two giant eyes lit up as she hit him with a devastating AT shot… which only sent him backwards with only a small amount of damage done to his chest.
Noticing this Keel shouted:
"That's right, bleed you fucker!
Up until now your small attacks didn't even hurt me!"
He immediately regretted those words as he saw the Father look at him full of anger while closing his fists violently.
Then a new yellow pattern appeared behind him, one that he hadn't used once since the beginning of the fight.
It was made up by an empty rotating square with tons of strange symbols on its sides, then a rotating pentagon appeared, then a hexagon, then a heptagon all the way up to a circle.
Once this was completed, all the shapes started rotating faster while Lilith took a defensive stance with her eyes open and fixed on the target as Keel got ready to throw one of the Lances.
"Everyone close your eyes!" Samuel shouted once he recognized the incoming attack and the rest of the group did so, not knowing what was coming next.
The entire solar system in a single instant was made brighter than the most powerful supernova as the Father burned Lilith's retinas to a crisp, momentarily blinding the giant and blocking the view for the ones inside.
And then he decided he needed to go grab something.
Mars
"Dammit!
Come on you stupid eyes regenerate faster!"
Lorenz though as he cursed himself for taking the hit so easily, but suddenly he stopped as he felt a gigantic mass move in space.
He tried to locate it with his heavily blurred vision and there seemed to be like a big grey spot that kept getting bigger and bigger.
"The hell?
Has he put up a smoke cloud? In space of all places?
No, this must be a distraction, he's probably hiding somewhere behind me and about to land another of those punches…
Damn that one hurt, I can't let him know it though…
Wait a second… is he actually inside of the cloud?
I can see his light from here, ha! What an idiot, he really thinks that I can't see…
Oh"
Inside of the head
"Umm Samuel… is that what I think it is?"
Kaworu asked him as they all watched with increasing quality the giant grey object that the Father was carrying.
"Well…
That is either Phobos or Deimos coming straight at us.
He really shouldn't have insulted the power of his attacks, you know he takes these things badly"
Suddenly four glowing Lances appeared near the moon and were shot directly into Lilith's limbs, immobilizing her once again and making her unable to defend herself.
And just as the Father was about to crash Phobos into her like a big yellow road roller, he said:
"Is this big enough for you now?!"
*BOOM*
And then the entire mass of the grey moon was unleashed on Mars' surface and on Lilith's skin as trillions and trillions of kilograms of rocks from the planet's crust were lifted into space along with most of Lilith's body, which was nearly vaporized by the explosion, except for the deepest part of her skin, which ended up floating and burning in the ocean of lava and compressed metals that was left after the impact.
The planet by now has been changed completely, with most of its surface being molten down as a crater four times the size of the moon was left in its place, with the Father floating over Lilith as he readied one final attack to end it once and for all.
Keel by now had given up, simply waiting for the spear of fate to strike him down and purge him for his sins.
…
But nothing came.
So, as he slowly reopened Lilith's eyes, he saw that the Father was not looking at him anymore, but rather, at a dark red portal that had formed in the sky above them.
And considering what he had heard the others say earlier about his awakening, he feared for his life as he understood what was happening.
Davoth was here.
A voice was heard as the portal finished opening, and it said only two words:
"Aten me"

With a thunder, hundreds of red flying ships came out of the portal in all different sizes, with the most common ones looking like the ones in Urdak, just with their sideways section moved lower, as if to imitate an inverted cross.
Then suddenly a ship much bigger than the others appeared and with it, came legions upon legions of demons as they dropped from the sky.
On the main deck of the biggest ship, a tall red mech suit was standing, with various humanoid guards circled around it.
He peeked under the edge of the ship and once Davoth noticed the Father waiting for him on a floating rock, he jumped down, landing on another one opposite to him.
Then, as the dust settled, the horned helmet moved away to reveal the dark lord's face and he looked like-
"The Slayer?" Misato asked and Samuel replied:
"No, Davoth, the Dark Lord himself, leader of hell and all the demons, the Slayer's arch nemesis…
And he is here to have his revenge on my father… For not granting him the gift of immortality"
Lake of lava
The two gods were staring at each other from two different floating rocks, with Davoth's armies in the background ready to attack.
"And so finally we meet again… Father, but tell me… I expected the Slayer to be here"
The Father then pointed towards Lilith's regenerating body and through her black eyes, the Dark Lord could see the Slayer's mark glowing from his life sphere.
Then, he immediately turned around as the Father began talking:
"Quite a nice army you managed to arrange there Davoth, but I was thinking that it would be rude of me to let them disturb our fight, so, I thought about calling in a favor…
From Urdak"
He snapped his fingers and then a gigantic blue portal opened behind him, from where hundreds of Maykr ships appeared, along with both angels and the Khan himself.
The Father smiled back at Davoth, who replied by closing his helmet again and activating his giant argent sword and shield as his mech suit's thrusters were activated.
The Father cracked his knuckles and got ready for the fight, ignoring the slowly regenerating white giant beside them.
Then, Davoth pointed his sword forward, making his armies start to advance and the Maykrs did the same, marking the beginning of the fight.
The Father and Davoth both jumped at each other, connecting in mid air as they parried each other's attacks.
Then they fell down into a larger rock, big enough to let them begin their dance of death.
And from Lilith Ramiel asked:
"Why isn't dad using his lasers?"
"He can't, that attack only works when he is at a considerable distance from the enemy, plus he would kill his own forces if he did so.
In fact, you can see that Davoth is trying to stay as close to him as possible, but not too close so that he can be easily hit.
This is because it limits the Father's options while Davoth can make full use of his special suit, which absorbs the floating Argent that is liberated when he hits the Father and heals him.
This is a fight of endurance and it is the one with the lower stamina and mental concentration who loses… the rest is just pretty lights and explosions"
As he said this a flaming mountain was blown away as the Father launched Davoth into it, who immediately jumped back at him and hit his left arm with the Argent sword, repairing his armor and stopping his internal bleeding.
Once they got back down to the ground Davoth used his shield to block the incoming ray and then combined it with his thrusters to dash right into the Father's face, stunning him momentarily as he pulled up his sword for a strike to the head.
Suddenly though the Father stopped the sword by grabbing its sides with his hands and then he pushed up, sending Davoth off balance and opening him up for the powerful kick that followed.
Then the Father jumped in the air and tried to land a punch on his chest, but the devil rolled away as he got back up and sent a forward attack with his sword.
The Father dodged it and stepped out of his reach.
Behind all of this a battle between angels and demons, white and inverted crosses, Khan and titans was going on, with both sides giving their hardest in what was the last battle many of them could have fought in their lives.
A maykr ship took out one from hell, which flew down into the battlefield and exploded, killing hundreds of demons in the process.
That same ship was later hit in the engines, making them explode and lose power, thus sending it in an uncontrollable dive into the platform where the Father and Davoth were too focused fighting to notice it.
And so the wreckage collided with the rock, breaking it in half as the Father fell face first into the lava.
Davoth was quick to take advantage of the situation by jumping to strike him in the back, but right before the sword hit its target, the Father teleported right behind Davoth like a prowler and unleashed a powerful punch to the back of the red armor,sending it into the lake as the impact created waves big enough to kill fighters on both sides.
One of the giant waves of magma also went directly towards Lilith, who shielded herself with her AT field.
The Father immediately noticed this as he turned around to stare at the orange barrier, seeing how the white giant was now almost fully regenerated.
He prepared an attack to stop her, but suddenly Davoth grabbed him by the neck after jumping out of his molten mech suit.
Then with another hand he sent his Argent sword straight through the Father's abdomen, with the red tip coming out from the other side.
VEGA let out a scream of pain, but right before Davoth brought the sword up to his life sphere he was able to get him off with an elbow to the face.
After they both dropped to the ground, the Father changed his height to match the Dark Lord's, as he had learned from the Slayer that size does not matter at all in these fights.
As Davoth grabbed his sword again, he looked at the Father right in the eyes as the two of them started walking in a circle and said:
"I have been waiting for countless years for this moment, to have my revenge for the gift you denied me so long ago"
"It was not a gift that I denied you Davoth, I knew that it would have gotten to your head if you had ever achieved immortality, and even without it, you still have lost your mind, bringing all of your people with it.
Hell wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for your relentless search for something that can't be found"
"Of course it couldn't be found! You kept it from me!"
"That might be true Davoth, but, let me ask you this… What were you going to do with it if you had ever gotten it? Hm?
Probably you would have transformed Jekkad into a new Urdak, into the most beautiful place in the universe, where your citizens would have experienced unlimited happiness right?"
"Damn right you are! And I would have been the best ruler in the universe! Everyone would have adored me and submitted to me!"
"And then? What would have happened?"
"What are you asking now? Of course I would have kept my reign going for eternity!"
"Sorry, I expressed myself wrong, what I meant was… what would have happened to you?
If you were to become the ruler you talk about, would you actually enjoy it?
"What?! Of course!"
"At the beginning for sure, maybe even for a billion years, then another billion and another and another… but then what?
Would you still enjoy after so many eons being the sole ruler of your perfect world?"
Davoth this time remained silent.
"Let me tell you something.
I have lived since the birth of the universe, I was there, during the big bang, when galaxies and superclusters were still young… When my mind was still young.
And I have been here every day for more than thirteen billion years, so you know, I had to keep myself entertained somewhat.
At first I went around aimlessly, simply destroying planets and making galaxies collide and whatnot, but then eventually, I settled down into a planet and tried to actually create something.
It wasn't pretty, but I kept going and eventually, the situation became just like you described it, I was a powerful ruler of an eternal reign.
But, as many have said before this, it's lonely at the top and it was loneliness that made me start a project to be able to give immortality to someone else"
"And who is this lucky bastard?"
"No one, because the project ended up being corrupted, and creating one of the most obscene species of creatures I have ever seen.
Davoth, let me present to you the combination of Lilith and Adam, the superbeing, as I like to call it"
He finished, pointing at the white giant in front of them, which was just starting to get back up.
"That giant white thing was supposed to kill you?"
"Yes and it does have the power to do so, it just depends on the user in control of course"
"Just give me a moment and I'll kick your ass VEGA!"
Keel shouted as he finally got back up and grabbed both of the Lances, then the Father replied to the Dark Lord:
"Which in this case is a group of old men who want a private heaven for themselves…
Sounds familiar?"
"Fuck you"
"Thanks"
"I understand all your blabbering about this ancient story and such, but I worked too hard for too many years to simply give up at the end.
So even if I have to take the immortality out of your cold dead hands, I will"
"As expected,but I want you to know something.
If I didn't care about anything and any of you, all of this would have been over a while ago.
But well, I can't kill the superbeing because then I would kill the ones inside of it too and I can't kill you… because you are still my son"
"Scared of hurting your baby boy Samur?"
The Father turned black for an instant as he heard those words, but he soon stabilized himself as lighting started flowing through his hands and the sky became more yellow, while the thick clouds started drifting away.
"I guess I have to upgrade my caliber now that it's a three way fight"
And so he teleported away, along with bringing Urdak's forces out of the planet.
When Davoth looked back up, he saw the firing array that had been prepared while they were talking and so he said as he pulled out his shield:
"Motherfu-"
His sentence was muted by thousands of 30000 megatons of energy exploding all around the planet, which by this time was starting to completely deteriorate as Lilith jumped away from it and landed on Deimos as she launched the Lances at him.
He stopped firing to avoid Cassius, but as he didn't have time to move out of Longinus' trajectory, he grabbed it with a single hand, stopping it midair as he launched it back, almost hitting the superbeing's left leg.
A moment later he turned back around and blocked Davoth's sword strike and made him land on one of the various flying debris.
Suddenly though he was hit by a powerful AT shot sent out by Lilith that he didn't notice coming, which sent him through various big rocks before he stopped and looked back at both his opponents.
The Father quickly intercepted Davoth when he jumped towards him as he blocked the sword with his forearms and landed a charged kick in his chest, sending him far enough away from where he could summon what he wanted to.
Then he said while looking at Lilith:
"Hey Keel? Do you think that Samuel will be angry if I play with one of his toys for a bit?"
Inside of Lilith's head
"Samuel, what is he talking about?
Samuel?!"
Kyoko asked him as she clung to his purple body and he replied:
"If my guess is right… Then the Solar system is about to have a lot more holes in it"
And as he saw the Slayer fly in front of him and glow a bright green, he said:
"Yes, I was thinking about that"
The Slayer almost blinded them after hearing those words.
Space, at the Father's location
The Father brought a hand behind him and suddenly, the outlines of an enormous portal were created.
The blue rings of energy turned black as a seemingly bottomless hole partially muted out the light of the sun, but it was when this same hole was filled with light that Davoth and Lilith, along with the group inside of her, really became worried.
A grey rock appeared, which gradually became bigger and bigger until it filled almost the entire diameter of the portal, with the old craters on it making it look very similar to Mars' now destroyed moon.
Then, right on the tip of it, it appeared.
First came the outer edges of the base, painted in white and grey with the triangular UAC logo on them.
Then the power generation ring, with all of its high power Argent transmitters displayed in an open inverted cupola that had a single white tower in its centre.
And on top of this tower, the BFG 10000 stood.

It's kilometer long white barrel still proudly displayed the UAC logo, the inner glass and titanium magnification chamber, the support tower which kept it pointing at a high angle, with inside of it the empty firing capsule.
All of this was decorated by a faint shade of green, remains from all the Argent energy that had been fired out of it.
And the portal behind it closed, the light of the sun made it shine over the battlefield like a red eye at the top of a tower in a famous film.
But, while everyone else was kind of scared of what he was going to do with hit, Samuel was sort of confused as he said:
"It looks like I was right… but"
"But what?" Kaworu asked him
"But I still don't understand why exactly the BFG 10000, I mean, the base was abandoned after the Slayer took the BFG 9000, in fact, it is required as the BFG 10000 is basically just a magnifying lens for the 9000.
And the Slayer is right here with us, so-
Wait a second, what is he doing with his arm?"
As he said that they noticed how he had opened his palm towards the abandoned base and suddenly seven yellow circles appeared around him as golden chains of light flew out of them and impacted with various points of the base.
Then, he opened his right hand, where he grabbed the demonic crucible that had flown towards him.
As he did that, he closed the left hand and then pulled his arm back, creating a tension in the chains so strong that they broke Phobos' surface and pulled the entire base, BFG 10000 included, towards the Father as his entire body started to glow like a newborn star.
Once the two of them made contact, an explosion followed, so strong that it blew away any kind of debris that was in the vicinity as four pairs of gigantic mechanical wings of light came out of the ball of fire as it slowly dissipated to reveal what had become of the base.
It and the Father had fused together, creating a floating fortress entirely out of the golden energy the Father's body was made out of, with hundreds of guns all of various sizes and power that stood upon a round base filled with electricity flowing through it as it descended from the various glowing wings.
On each tip of such wings a golden eye had opened as it moved around before locking its vision half on Lilith and half on Davoth.
But all of this paled in comparison to the absurdly oversized barrel of the now golden glowing BFG 10000, which turned red a moment later as the Father activated the red blade of the demonic crucible.
And as Samuel saw the wings extended outwards as they started to draw energy from the entire universe he only managed to say these words upon gazing upon such a large display of the Father's power:
"We are so fucked if we get hit by that"

Then, as the Father started accumulating energy for his shot, Davoth launched himself at him, sword and shield activated as he deflected more and more shots the closer he got to his target.
But, just as he was getting in range, all the eyes looked at him as they fired homing orbs of energy which curved around his shield and hit him directly, sending him away with a series of powerful explosions.
Then, the Father turned around and aimed at Lilith, with all the eyes looking at her as Kyoko asked:
"Do we have any chance of surviving?"
"Considering the speed of the BFG 10000's shot and the distance, I say that Lilith has about half a sec-"
What Hayden wasn't expecting, was for the shot to travel at almost the speed of light as Lilith's entire bottom portion along with a big chunk of Deimos was pulled away by the ray of energy which kept going further and further away until it became too unstable and exploded, creating a green fireball so bright that it almost looked like another sun.
As Lilith slowly began regenerating, the souls that had been stripped away by the energy came back too as Keel reopened his eyes…
Only to see the golden fortress flying towards him at full speed as the white giant was rammed by the Father as he delivered all the available firepower he had.
In truth, this was just a way for the Father to stall the fight while he prepared the next BFG shot, but given how much energy was required, he had to wait for a while.
Still, he did not let his guard down, especially because a moment after ramming Lilith, Davoth tried attacking him from behind, but he managed to send him off at the last second with the eyes once again.
Back in front of him, Lilith had by now regenerated up to her thighs, so, he momentarily stopped firing and then concentrated all of his firepower in a single shot which was powerful enough to slam her into the still burning surface of Mars.
Then, Davoth came back a third time, still as determined as ever to try and have his revenge and this time he managed to get through all of the Father's defenses by using his sword to cut the projectiles in half before they got to him and so, having made it through the entire length of the BFG's barrel, he got ready to strike the Father by bringing his red sword up.
A moment later…
Red met red as the Father used the Demonic crucible to defend himself right before the strike.
And as the two opponents locked eyes with each other, Davoth said:
"Why won't you die!"
"I can't!
…
AND IT'S AWFUL!"
"What-"
*Ding*
A circle of light appeared in front of the Dark Lord's face.
"Oh no"
And a moment later he was thrown out of the chamber and after managing to stop on a far away floating rock, he was able to get a nice view of the entire golden fortress as it pointed again towards Lilith.
"Alright, I'll have to wait until he fires again for my next strike.
…
…
But what did he mean by saying that immortality is awful?"
And so he simply sat down and waited for the shot as he reflected on those words, but, suddenly he noticed something as the secondary fire from one of the Father's guns pierced Lilith's left eye.
"His sweet boy is in there too, huh.
It's impossible that he hasn't noticed already, so that means that he will fire at the chest of that strange being for sure. If he doesn't want to kill him that is, but I believe that it's the last thing he wants to do.
Right reader?"
"Oh come on Davoth not you too! I know that you and VEGA are powerful enough to break the fourth wall, but please!"
I told him as I moved the narration away to avoid things like this.
Inside of Lilith
"Are we going to die Hayden?" Yui asked as all of them couldn't get their eyes off of the Father.
"No, he will aim for the chest, where the souls are, thus gravely injuring Lilith as her power comes from the ones inside of her body.
Then, once that is done, maybe we can try to get out of here"
"You are not going anywhere bastard!"
Suddenly Keel's voice echoed through the head as they saw him bring up a hand to try and reach the blinding light coming from the almost ready shot of energy.
"Instead… if I have to go down…
I'll bring you with me to the grave!"
"Die Keel!"
The Father shouted as the BFG 10000 was fired once more, aiming for the middle of the torso, just where the souls were.
But what the Father hadn't noticed, was that Lilith this time had been able to pull the dark moon in front of her for cover, along with her AT field, which gave Lorenz Keel enough time to pierce Lilith's left eye with his own hand and pull out Samuel from her head as he regained his physical form.
Just as he saw the ray disintegrate the black moon and fill the AT field with cracks, he realized that this was it for him, there was no Father or no Slayer that could have helped him in this situation and with his death imminent,he simply wished that the others wouldn't suffer too much because of it.
"How funny, in the end, am I really going to die by your hands Father?
Oh, he has noticed me here…
I think that this is a goodbye then…
I guess that I'm the one with so many regrets this time…
Sorry dad and… sorry Kyoko"
"Wait Samuel get ou-"
*crack*
Time seemed to stop for an instant as the ray of energy pierced the orange octagonal wall and went forward, but it missed Lilith who had enough time to move mostly out of the way, rendering the shot non lethal.
But at the moment, everyone's attention was focused on the single purple wing that was floating in space where Lilith's previous arm was as she built a new one.
Slowly, that wing turned to grey as it died out and turned into dust, as if it had never been there.
"No…
NO, no, no, no no no no no no nonononononononononononononono-
SAMUEL!"
The Father cried out as he tried to receive any sort of signal from his son, anything that could have stopped the slowly forming realization in his head.
"No, it's impossible! I couldn't have killed him! He must have dodged the shot just in time and and….. And and he got out of there!
Yes he survived! Samuel is still alive somewhere!
Yes that's right! I'm right! I'm always right! I am God so I am always right!
He just teleported away! He can do that! Really well too! So yes! I just need to find him and-"
Suddenly, Lilith's voice stopped his rambling:
"{He is dead.
I saw his body disappear in the light}"
She said as her new arm became fully functional and grabbed one of the two Lances, with the other one already firmly gripped in the opposite limb.
After the sound of Lilith's words died out completely, everyone had their eyes on the Father and on how he had grabbed his head and pulled it downwards, almost closing himself in a fetal position.
Then suddenly, a loud cracking noise was heard and once the Father moved his head back up, Lilith immediately noticed the demonic smile that had formed on his otherwise featureless face.
An insurmountable fear overcame all the others as Davoth jumped at him from his rock and Lilith launched both giant red Lances at him.
The two projectiles were much faster than Davoth, so they reached their target first, which seemed to offer no resistance at all.
First came Longinus, which pierced his neck and his abdomen with it's two ends, then, the back of the Lance opened up, revealing Cassius right behind it as it perforated him right through the soul sphere.
This union caused the two Lances to create tens of the smaller black Lances which attacked too a moment later, leaving no place in the Father's body that wasn't pierced from front to back
Finally, Davoth came from behind as he impaled his sword in the still untouched part of the soul sphere, cutting through the Father's back as he put as much force as he could in the strike.
Finally, he slowly saw the Father's body turn more and more grey as its yellow fluorescence died out in the yellow light of the sun.
While this was happening, Lilith let out a group of mass produced units as they began flying towards him to shred his body to pieces.
A while later, Davoth pulled back his right foot and then brought it back forward as he kicked away the Father from his sword, leaving the other two Lances behind as they remained stuck in their position.
And then, silence followed.
…
…
…
"Eheheh"
Davoth immediately stabbed his sword again in VEGA's chest as he heard that twisted laugh, turning it around to try and deal as much damage as possible.
But that was useless, as the grey body's head, did a complete 180 and turned to look right at Davoth …
With its own pair of flaming eyes, and a closed red mouth.
Suddenly the entire body turned a deep black as two tangent halos appeared on his back, sending Davoth away along with his weapon.
As the Father then turned to look at Lilith, his mouth started vibrating while his halos began shining much brighter than before.
Then, it snapped open as it released the most ear-shattering scream any of them had ever heard.
He was standing with his head tilted backwards as his almost elongated mouth let out all the pain that Samuel's loss has provoked in him…
From the mouth a powerful shockwave was let out as it disintegrated the mass produced evangelions that had almost reached him, then, a point of light came out of it as it began to rise over his darkened body.
It stopped after a while, turning red as cracking noises could be heard coming from it.
And a moment later… the doors of Guf appeared over him, thousands of times larger than ever before as they extended outwards to cover the entirety of the solar system with their rainbow colored patterns.
The glowing point then exploded in the shape of a bright red cross which pierced the darkest part of the doors as it disappeared shortly after.
But now, the doors had changed, as the rings of colors began falling into the black void at the centre, which developed a very strong gravitational field that attracted everything to it.
The Father looked up at it as he flew straight into the doors of Guf, disappearing completely as a portal opened behind him.
And as Lilith grabbed Deimos to not be sucked in, Kaworu said:
"Wait…
That means that the doors of Guf have always been a portal to somewhere!"
"{It appears so, every time there was an impact level event they appeared… but where would they lead to?}"
"I don't know…
Hold on… if they are tied to every impact then…
I think that they can lead to one place and one place only"
An audible gulp was heard as the realization settled in their minds, but their attention was suddenly taken by the two giant golden chains that perforated both Lilith's and Davoth's chests as they began being pulled in.
They tried everything to break free, but it seemed as if each of their attacks was useless and by the time they were done, it was too late anyway.
The gravity of the enormous portal brought them in, surrounding them in total darkness as the doors began closing behind them.
And on a far away Maykr ship, one of the soldiers asked the Khan:
"Khan, should we be worried about the state of the Father?"
And he replied with an order:
"I all of our forces to enter that portal before it closes, the survival of all of creation is at risk here and for once it's not the Dark Lord that we have to worry about"
And so all the Maykrs entered the doors of Guf too at the last moment as it closed behind them soon after.

As their vision was cleared from the pitch black color of the portal, Davoth and Lilith found themselves in a new system that they had never seen before.
There were many planets, though all of them were a dark grey as if a great fire had burned their surface, yet their atmosphere was still there.
The central star was a very bright blue supergiant, with its surface thousands of degrees hot as it was slowly approaching the last years of its life.
Around it, pieces of what once was a large Dyson sphere, used to power all the enormous cities that could be seen even from space.
And yet, despite all the signs of civilization in it, the entire system gave off a feeling of death and sorrow.
Then suddenly, from behind the planet that was very close to the two, a plain white moon appeared, with its surface so smooth that it looked as if it had been covered with a giant white sea.
But, as it rotated around, the horrid truth was revealed to them, in fact that object was not a moon, but a giant red eye which looked exactly the same as Lilith's, except that it was half as big as her.
The white giant unconsciously moved a hand towards one of its own eyes and as the girl appeared inside the head, she asked Kaworu:
"{What do you think this place is?}"
"I… I think I know the name, but I just can't remember it, the only thing Adam is telling me is that we need to get out of here"
Suddenly though Kyoko looked up at Lilith and asked her:
"Lilith… did… did you manage to get Samuel before… he was hit?"
"{Unfortunately no, I am sorry, but he is gone}"
Hearing this the woman's face filled with tears as she kneeled down and began crying quietly.
When she felt her daughter's arms around her a moment later, she said:
"I-... I loved him Asuka… he was… so romantic and… I-I felt at ease with him… he… loved me too and and- Why did that bastard have to bring him out!"
She shouted as she hugged back her daughter and wetted her shoulder as much as she could,but after a while Asuka said:
"I'll be honest with you mama, I liked him a bit too, he was funny and had a certain charm about him and… I don't think that I would have minded if he had become my new dad…
Especially because I have my Shinji now"
That last sentence made Shinji blush and painted a small smile on his face as he felt his mother's hands on his shoulders.
Then Kyoko spoke again:
"I don't know how I was able to live so long without being with you my dear Asuka"
She then hugged her harder as Asuka happily became her emotional pillow.
Suddenly though, a knocking sound was heard and so Keel appeared as he asked:
"Who did that?"
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
This time, they could understand better the direction from where the sound was coming from and so as they turned towards Lilith's right eye, they saw Davoth floating right outside of it looking at them.
Immediately the Slayer's life sphere flew in his direction to go and hit him, but he was stopped by the thick white flesh that proved too elastic for him to break.
"And now what do You want!?" Keel asked as he flew near him.
Davoth said:
"I wanted to talk"
The Slayer glowed at him in anger, but he gave him only a passing glance as he said:
"You and I Slayer are going to fight later.
Right now I want to figure out where we are, as I have fought against the Father in every system that he has ever created except for Earth… and this.
Our conflict was born in hell, but it seems that something…"
He looked at the giant moon-eye.
"Bigger, happened here"
Then Lilith walked forward and said:
"{After going through Samuel's memories that I collected during his instrumentality…
We seem to be in me and Adam's native world, the Father's first creation}"
"What! Hell was created before anything else! He told me so!"
"{From our information it looks like he lied to you, but I can understand why he would do so, given what happened in here}"
She said pointing at the moon once more and then she added:
"{I don't know why he would hide from yu the time he killed eighty trillion people, but this is where the first superbeing was created and where the carnage happened}"
"The Father killing eighty trillion people?
What kind of bullshit are you saying?
He doesn't have the heart to kill me, let alone that many people"
"{But he does consider you his son, as he said during his meeting with SEELE}"
That sentence seemed to do something to Davoth as he didn't say anything for a couple of seconds, thinking about what she had said.
Suddenly, a new planet appeared from behind the star, but this was different from the others.
It was much bigger and with cities so big that they could be seen from space given how much of its surface they covered.
Around it a giant red ring gave it some color as grey clouds covered most of the planet, except for the northern pole, from where a bright light was seen as the clouds became redder and more agitated the closer they got to it.
"Wait I saw that ring once before"
Kaworu said as he got closer to the surface of the eye.
"Yes it was during my only visit inside of his core, he had told me that they were just his memories, but now I understand that I was actually seeing through Adam's eyes.
And it was on that planet that he created both the white and black moon, after the impact had ended"
"And he's up there, waiting for us"
Davoth suddenly said as he pointed to the glowing point of light that shined at the northern pole of the planet.
He began flying towards it as Lilith followed him a moment later.
Seeing this Maria asked:
"Wait, now we are working with the devil himself?"
And so Gendo answered her question:
"It's more like a… temporary truce if anything.
I believe that the fight will resume once we get there"
"I also need to recover the Lances, without them I'm at a serious disadvantage"
Suddenly though, the space before Davoth became distorted as it split open into a portal and spat out the entire Maykr fleet before him, which was quick to draw its weapons.
But they didn't fire, because they saw Davoth raise his hands as he said:
"I believe that we should wait for the Father to resume our conflict shouldn't we?
After all, I'm one of his sons too"
He then pointed to the big planet and as the fleet noticed the light, they withdrew their weapons and began flying towards it like flies.
The other two followed them quickly after as the feeling of uneasiness got stronger for everyone the closer they got to their destination.
All around them, space debris from the once flourishing civilization flew by, simply showing further how long this system had been abandoned and how intense the fight in here had been.
But, by far the 'largest' surprise, came when they were halfway to the planet.
There were in fact some irregularities in the light that was being emitted by the giant blue star next to them and while initially they thought that it was just a group of asteroids or debris, it was once they were perpendicular to it that they could make out every detail.
The body of the superbeing was there, hundreds of times larger than Lilith, with its thick white skin covered almost completely in blood from its ravaged internal body which looked like it had been torn open by a pack of wild wolves as various claw marks were present all around it.
The face was stuck in an expression that transmitted only pure pain as black blood flew from the inverted symbol on the forehead.
All of this had been crucified right on the surface of the star by golden lances thousands of kilometers long which managed to keep it in pain even billions of years after its death.
The group quickly got away from it though, since the longer they looked at the black symbol, the more they felt their soul withering away.
Finally though, they reached the giant planet and began descending through its atmosphere, even Lilith, who changed her height to fit in it.
Immediately they were greeted by a destroyed metropolis as strong winds slowly deteriorated its destroyed skyscrapers, the windows were shattered, the metal beams were bent, the streets were covered in blood.
Davoth noticed this especially, as he decided to walk through it for a moment, just as Lilith and from inside of her head, Shinji said:
"Is it me or does this city look a lot like Tokyo 3?"
Then his Father answered:
"I believe you are right… for how improbable that is, as I remember almost perfectly the layout of the city and this one resembles it closely.
So, this makes me want to check something…
Keel, can you lift that building in front of us from its base?"
The man did so and thanks to Lilith's abilities and the damage it had received, the skyscraper fell down like a tower of sand, but Gendo was only interested in seeing what was under it.
"Wait a second… that's…
That's an early design of the Tokyo 3 building lifters!
I'm sure of having seen it somewhere else, but I remember-"
Gendo was suddenly stopped by Lorenz who said:
"The Dead Sea scrolls, inside of them, along with the prophecy of the angel War there were also the projects for most of the defense mechanisms of Tokyo 3.
But seeing them here, given that this city is supposedly billions of years old… raises more questions than answers"
"Come look at this"
Davoth said as he stood near a big dusted out sign that he had cleared.
It was written in ancient Maykr text, so Davoth translated it for them:
"Babylon 3 panoramic point, 3 km"
Suddenly one of the maykr ships stopped moving in an instant as it stood right over the edge of where the panoramic point was.
The group flew over there and noticed how there wasn't only one side that pointed towards the city, but also another, which gave out to the landscape around it.
Actually, battlefield was the more correct word, given the amount of bodies that littered it.
There was a small sign on the edge of the cliff and so Davoth went to read it, but right before that, he noticed something in the distance, on top of the highest pile of bodies.
A shining silver statue of the Slayer was there, stuck forever in the endless fight against both those demonic humans and…
"Wait, are those spheres down there cores?"
Ramiel asked as Lilith zoomed in with her eyes and confirmed it.
In the middle of the pile of bodies there were in fact grey and reddish spheres lying around, all of them either broken or cut in half as they displayed the inverted black symbol too.
"I'm scared…" the angel added as Zeruel brought him in a reassuring hug.
Then, Davoth went forward and read what was written on the sign.
"And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed
Hm…"
Then Davoth turned around to look at the city and noticed that this side had a sign too:
"The silent and moving fortress, reminiscent of the first angel war in history, also known as the bastion of solitude"
"{Wait… the only angel war that has ever happened is the one on Earth…
Or maybe, could it be that something happened before me and Adam were sent away?}"
Lilith asked, but got no real answer also because none of them had ever been in such a situation.
Suddenly a portal appeared next to the mountain and out of it the red clouds could be seen, meaning that it was very close to the pole of the planet.
They took it without a second thought and ended up in a large foggy forest, with treea so tall that they would have covered all light completely if they had leaves.
Thanks to this though, the group was able to get itself out of it, but they weren't sure if it had been a good idea given where they ended up.
In front of them in fact there was the valley of death that they had already seen in Samuel's memories, just with all the bodies rotten away as their skeletons filled the river and the fields in the valley, as the distant echoing screams of souls were still being heard.
Then they turned north towards the light and they were greeted by an enormous cylindrical monument, hundreds of times larger than the biggest mountain and so tall that it was a mystery how it wasn't visible from space earlier.
At its base, a long diagonal staircase made of the same black stone of the monolith invited them to reach the unseen peak, far above the red clouds.
Once they reached it, they saw that a gate was blocking it off and all around it a seemingly impenetrable wall of energy prevented them from going around it.
The gate was at least twenty meters tall and it was divided in two big doors, one with the Slayer's mark on it, the other with Lilith's retina imprinted on it.
In front of each door, two circular pressure activated plates with their corresponding symbols were placed, both of them needing to be pressed at the same time to proceed.
When Davoth climbed on the platform that had both his and the Slayer's symbol, it came to life as a red ray of energy connected it to the door as it illuminated half of the central circular symbol that stood between the two doors.
Lilith tried getting closer to it, but with her enormous size that couldn't go much lower than that, she didn't see any was to-
Suddenly the highest point of the door opened up as a ray of golden energy was shot out ot it, hitting her right in the chest as the group's souls inside of the head were suddenly transported outside of her once she was as tall as the Dark Lord.
Then, the same beam of energy came out once more and it created a shield which blocked off the Maykrs from entering too, so the Khan said:
"We'll try to fly above the clouds, but given the high turbulence it will take us a while, do not wait for us if you reach tge top, we need to help the Father as soon as possible"
And with that Lilith stepped on her platform too, completing the central symbol and opening the doors of the gate to the staircase.
Once the doors were fully opened and the noise of stone rubbing against stone had stopped, a series of red lanterns at each side of the staircase were lit from seemingly nothing as they revealed thousands of ghostly figures which were floating in between the lights.
Upon closer inspection though, the group recognized them as older civilians of the first human race, given their striking resemblance to Lilith and Adam.
And as soon as Davoth took the first step forward, they began whispering on their ears:
"~Turn back now~"
"~Go away~"
"~Do not get close~"
"~Run away from pain~"
"~Keep him distant~"
"~He doesn't deserve you~"
"~He is not special, make him suffer like everyone else~"
"~The sight of him will make you puke~"
"~Disgusting,even~"
"~He will never find happiness~"
"I just don't want to be lonely"
"It hurts, all of it"
"Do not fight me if you want to s-"
Their last sentence was muted out by Davoth as he killed one of them with his sword, sending all the others away, pissed at how much of a nuisance they were,especially after they started using the Father's voice.
Then, the staircase started shaking, as if an earthquake was happening right under their feet.
As they saw the middle of the stairs crack, everyone moved towards the edges and with a single heavy push, the entire structure was split in two as a new portion of it was seen rising from under the terrain.
This has now divided the single large staircase into two smaller ones as in the middle of them, a series of statues rose from the ground all the way up until they disappeared in the red clouds.
The first one was a statue off VEGA in his orb form right at the beginning of the universe, with all the stars and galaxies forming around him.
It was labeled:
"The first thought"
A couple hundred meters later, they reached a second one, where the Father was raining light from his hands upon various planets.
It was called:
"Genesis"
The third one, the same distance away as the other two, showed the Father sitting down with a group of the first humans around him.
On one hand he held a book, on the other one, a ball of fire.
"Power and Knowledge" was its name.
The last one before entering the clouds, showed the Father looking at a copy of him which was missing half of his body , but a peculiar detail was that in this one the Father was shown to have an empty hole in his chest, which the copy of him filled perfectly even if incomplete.
Finally, they reached the clouds and as they soon as they entered them, they were met by hurricane-like winds along with thunder and lightning one Ramiel could produce.
Thankfully, the stairs seemed to give them some sort of protection as they kept walking up into the unknown and towards the next cycle of statues.
The first one showed the Father sitting on a chair with a book on his hands and behind him his incomplete counterpart from before was shown weilding a knife and about to strike him.
Around the heart of the machine there was also a long snake which hissed and seemed to control it.
The text on the incision at the bottom read:
"The seed of evil"
They went higher and along with their altitude, the intensity of the weather effects increased too.
The next one was a bit strange, if anything someone could have compared it to a piece of modern art, but way more confused and chaotic, with the only distinguishable detail being VEGA's symbol in the middle.
It was titled:
"Symphony of pain"
Then came the next one, noticeably much darker and gruesome than the others, given that it was supposed to represent the universe wide genocide, with the Father in his angered dorm holding Lilith's head on one hand and three spheres in the other, with a sea of dead bodies under him. Two of those spheres were the white and black seeds while the third one represented Urdak and Jekkad.
It was simply called:
"The horror of death"
Finally, just at the line in between the end of the red clouds and the clear night sky, the last statue stood.
It was pretty barren, but it didn't need many details anyway to convey its message.
It was simply showing the Father again, this time damaged and bleeding as he stood up almost with a bit of a struggle, but his body language did not show pain, but rather complete joy since over him, inside an idea of his head, Samuel was represented, holding his head upwards and giving him the strength to go forward.
"And the joy of rebirth"
With that, the clouds closed behind them as they resumed their walk towards the top.
