Australia Day
Alice Springs, January 25th, 2007
Inside a hidden compound, Numbuhs 3 and 4 make their plans to finish off the Galactic forces remaining in Australia. The plan is to box Galactic into a small field of the Great Victoria Desert. Inside the compound with them are Numbuhs 83 and 86.
"Finally, after five months we can finally drive those Galactic fucks outta me homeland… for good." Wally says cheerfully.
"Do I get to ride the kangaroos?" Kuki asks.
"Yes you do, Kuki. You and Numbuh 83 will lead the kangaroo charges from the North and South. Numbuh 4 and will lead the dingos from the East and West." Fanny informs her.
"When are we attacking, you know I don't like fighting these aliens in the dark." Sonia states.
"No way, we come in at high noon. I wanna look these bastards in the eye when face 'em." Wally informs her.
"Cool." Lee says.
That night, Kuki is looking at the sun set as Wally walks up to her.
"You okay, Numbuh 3?" Wally asks as he sees that she is looking depressed.
"I'm fine, it's just… it doesn't feel right." Kuki answers.
"What doesn't feel right?" He asks curiously.
"I know this plan is gonna work, but winning won't feel the same without Numbuh 5, Numbuh 2, or Numbuh 1." She sighs.
"Hey, don't you remember the first night Numbuh 1 wasn't with us?" Wally asks. "You remember you cheered me up with music?"
"Of course I do." She replies.
"Well this is my way of cheering you up. After tomorrow, we'll be one day closer to having the gang back together." Wally reassures her.
"Oh I love you, Wally." Kuki hugs Wally tight to her.
"Kuki… can't… breathe."
Kuki let's him go and he catches his breath.
"Right, let's get some rest. It'll be a big day tomorrow." Wally says, as he and Kuki race to their bunk to rest up for the battle tomorrow.
January 26th
The next day, Galactic forces ready their charge into the desert. This is the first time that Numbuh 74.239 has led a battle on Earth. To make sure he is not recognized, he has chosen to remain in his tree form.
"We will let you know when we have taken Australia, sir." He says on a video call to Numbuh Infinity.
"Very good, Numbuh 74.239. Call me again when the continent is captured." Infinity orders before cutting the transmission.
74.239 then gets in his vehicle, and is driven to the desert as the alien forces rush out in hopes of taking out the remaining KND in Australia. Unbeknownst to them, they are being watched on all sides by the KND, who outnumber them due to the use of the Australian wildlife. When they get to the center of the center, Wally gives the signal by turning on a radio set up in the desert.
"Wait… where are the Kids Next Door? And what is that music?" 74.239 asks as he suddenly feels the ground vibrate and sees dust coming from every direction.
Ooh, a storm is threatening my very life today
He then sees Wally, Fanny, Kuki, and Sonia each lead a cavalry charge from all sides.
If I don't get some shelter, ooh yeah I'm gonna fade away
Then all of the forces engage each other as 74.239 flees.
"Get me away from the center of this!" He shouts at his driver.

"Hey, don't let that vehicle escape, Numbuh 3!" Fanny shouts as she sicks her dingoes upon Galactic.
"I'm on it!" Numbuh 3 shouts back as she gets on the back of a kangaroo and leads others to chase down 74.239's vehicle.
Ooh, see the fire is sweepin' our streets today
Wally and Fanny's dingoes overwhelm the aliens, who are ill-prepared for the two onslaught as some of them are literally being eaten by the wild dogs.
Burns like a red coal carpet mad bull lost its way
"That's so fucking gross." Fanny cringes.
"Better them than us, Fan." Wally replies.

As Kuki chases down the alien vehicle, Sonia leads her band of kangaroos to chase down the aliens attempting to flee.

"Numbuh 4, go help Numbuh 3. Numbuh 83 and I will round up the rest of these little bastards." Fanny orders.

"You got it, boss." Wally obliges as he assists Kuki in her pursuit. Fanny then leads her dingoes to help Sonia corner all the alien enemies and box them in.

Wally catches up to Kuki as they continue to chase down 74.239.

Finally catching up to his vehicle, the kangaroos manage to kick it on it's side and the dingoes rips the door off. Numbuh 74.239 crawls out, unaware that he is in his human disguise.
"Oh Numbuh 5 is gonna LOVE to see you, motherfucker." Wally taunts.
"You can take me, but you won't take them." Numbuh 74.239 says as he kicks a button on the side.
"What did you just do?" Kuki angrily asks as she grabs his lab coat.
"Numbuh 3, Numbuh 4. Come in! The aliens are gone!" Fanny shouts on the walkie talkie as she and Sonia see the Galactic forces vanish.
"What happened? Did we win?" Sonia asks.
"Oh we won, Numbuh 83. He may have gotten his army of dingo chow to safety… for now. But we'll take it as a retreat, AND the Kids Next Door now has a prisoner of war." Wally explains as he gives Numbuh 74.239 a sadistic look.
"Who is this… prisoner of war?" Fanny asks.
"Get over here and see for yourself." Wally says.
Fanny and Sonia make their way over to Wally and Kuki to see their new POW is.
"Where is this… you… you fucking bastard! This is all your fault! I'm gonna rip you fucking balls off!" Fanny shouts as she sees that it is Numbuh 74.239.
"Fanny, we need him alive!" Sonia says, trying her best to hold Fanny back.
"He'a responsible for all this!" Fanny shouts.
"Fanny, please. You've been doing so good. Don't let him ruin all of that." Kuki says as she gets Fanny to take deep breaths.
"You're right, Numbuh 3. Numbuh 4 I think it's best if you load him into a shuttle back at base. We'll call the Moonbase, tell Numbuh 5 about this new development." Fanny says.
"Right on." Wally then ties a blind fold around 74.239's eyes. "Listen here ya bastard, I'm taking you to the Moonbase, and you're gonna be interrogated. If you don't tell us what we wanna know, you best hope that all she does is geld you." He threatens as 74.239 gulps and begins crying out of fear.
Sonia and Kuki lead the animals back to the reserve at their base, while Fanny makes a call to Numbuh 5.
"Numbuh 5, come in. This is Numbuh 86." Fanny says as Abby answers the call.
"Talk to me, 86."
"It's over, the remaining enemy retreated, and Numbuh 4 is on his way with a POW." She explains.
"POW? What are you talking about? Who they got that Numbuh 5 would wanna talk to?" Abby asks.
"Oh you're gonna wanna talk to this one." Fanny laughs.
End of the chapter. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter and the first KND victory. Sorry it took so long to complete, but I've been busy with many other stories and life in general. The next chapter is going to focus on Numbuh 10 with her radio show and a sit down interview with a villain. Hopefully it won't take as long to update as this time around. Until then, happy reading.
