Here's the final chapter of training! I hope you enjoy!

Training Part 4 (Day 3)

Fate Falcy, 15, D5 Female

The Capitol was just as amazing as my parents made it out to be. I had only seen very little of it, but everything was so extravagant. And the way the people dressed was insane. I loved District 5, but I couldn't help but feel like I had come home. Which, technically. I had.

My strategy was to pretend to be completely helpless. And so far, it had worked. Nobody had approached me, trying to get in an alliance. The night before, I had been talking to Rowan about sponsors. Word had almost gotten out about the fact that I was a Capitol citizen, but one of the President's teams killed the rumor. I had assumed that meant the people who were spreading the rumor were killed.

I had been at the bow and arrow station since I had gotten to the center. I was pretending I couldn't get the arrow to get more than two feet. I could've easily shot someone's eye out, but I needed to keep up the ruse that I was helpless. And so far it had worked. Wait. I feel like I had already said that. Who cares.

Anyway, the trainer had been glaring at me for the past hour or so. Or it could've been minutes. I didn't know. I refused to let him help me. I didn't need it. He thought I did. But I didn't.

"Move," Boris said, shoving me out of the way. I dropped my bow and nearly picked it up and shot him in the back, right where the heart is. It wouldn't have hurt him - the tips were magnetic - but it still would've been a surprise. I couldn't wait for the private sessions. I would show them how good I really was. Or maybe I wouldn't. I hadn't made up my mind on that yet.

I thought about Charm constantly. I wondered how he was doing, if my parents had broken into his house yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they had. They were completely insane. And that was putting it nicely. After four days without me, they definitely were going even more insane. They were probably desperate to see one of their children. Charm would never see them willingly though. And if I somehow won, I wouldn't let them see me either. I would move into the Victor's Village with Charm and live a peaceful life. With no physical activity at all. After twelve years of being constantly trained, I was done. I would live a happy life if I could lay on a couch and not move for years.

"Are you done yet?" the trainer asked acidly.

"No," I said simply. He nearly rushed me and took the weapon. I was happy about that. I had finally gotten a rise out of one of them. I decided to have some fun. "Do you think you could help me with this?"

"No!" he snapped. "You've refused for the past hour and a half, I'm not going to help you now."

"Well that's very rude," I said. I walked towards where the head trainer, Hunter, was standing, observing the room. "Excuse me?"

He started. He hadn't been expecting a tribute to approach him. "Yes?"

"The trainer at the bow and arrow station? You know the one with the weird blonde hair?"

He nodded.

"He's refusing to help me with this, and I just really need help. The Games start soon," I tried to look nervous. Apparently I passed as nervous pretty well, because he stormed over to where the blond trainer was. Hunter started yelling and waving his hands around a bunch. I smiled. At least if I couldn't show everyone how good I was I could have fun in other ways.

Jona Skinner, 16, D10 Male

I had given up on trying to get allies. Nobody was approaching me. The only people left were the pair from 3 (neither of which I wanted to work with), the pair from 5 (again, wasn't working with them), the pair from 8 (wasn't going to work with them), the boy from 11 (barely moved, so he wouldn't be any help), and finally, the girl from 12. But I hadn't seen her since the Peacekeepers took her away.

It was lunch time, and I was sitting alone. The food was great, but I wasn't really focusing on it. I was surveying the room. The first thing I noticed was the boy from 8 sitting with the Career pack. It wasn't something I expected, but it made sense. They were trying to even the playing field with the District 1 alliance.

The boy from 8 was pretty well built, but from what I had seen, he wasn't very smart. But he was strong, and that would be an advantage once we actually got to the arena. That left seven people to work with. And I refused to ally with any of them. They were all helpless. Suddenly, an intercom crackled and a snobby Capitol accent began speaking. Everyone fell quiet.

"As I'm sure you're all aware, Laila, our District 12 tribute, has been taken out of training," he began. "We've noticed some abnormal results in our preliminary tests, but don't worry! She will be back in time for her private session. It's best not to worry about all of this. Everything has been taken care of. "

Everyone in the room immediately began shouting.

"SILENCE!" The guy on the intercom roared. "Now, I'm sure you find this very odd, but do not worry!f."

"What happened to her?" a guy yelled. "Why does she get special treatment?"

I tried to pinpoint who was talking but failed.

"That is not information we can disclose at this time," he said happily. "Please continue with your day as normal."

The intercom clicked, and everyone began talking at once immediately. Why had they made this announcement? Was it to anger us, make us more bloodthirsty? Because if that was their goal, it certainly was working. Half of the tributes looked as though they wanted to rip a Peacekeeper's head off. I was included in that. The fact that she wasn't down here, with us, worried me. I thought that maybe she had gotten private training from the Gamemakers, or something like that. I didn't know why they had picked her though. Out of all of us, they picked the girl from 12 who was completely hopeless. I was confused.

Thank you for reading this chapter! It definitely was a shorter one, but some interesting things definitely happened. What do you guys think about the alliances? Leave a review answering the sponsor questions, or even send me a PM with the answers so that you can help your favorite tribute out in the Games!

Sponsor System: My sponsor system is pretty easy. All you have to do is answer a few questions, and for each one you get correct, you get ten points. I keep a tally of everyone's points on my profile page, and once the Games start, you can PM me with and item and who you want it to go to, and that tribute will get it in the next chapter! You can only answer questions from the current chapter. I will not accept answers from chapters that I released months ago.
