I let out a lout scream at the sight I saw. It was too horrible to describe in words. Miranda's dead body, all the blood, the broken mirror, the glass shards that impaled Miranda's eyes and hands, the bloody message, and the unknown broken object. It was all too much. I just stood there screaming, until Ellen walked over and clamped a hand over my mouth.
"You're so damn annoying, be quiet." Ellen ordered.
"Lay off!" Irene shot back.
Ellen removed her hand from my mouth and walked away. I didn't have anymore screaming in me, but I stood there, frozen in fear.
"Shit." Henry cursed out loud. "Just fuck."
"Those other idiots better get here soon." Ellen stated. "Aqua Tail might give us a shorter time to investigate if they take too long."
"Is that what you're concerned about?!" Irene was now pissed. "Another one of us is dead! Dead!"
"Obviously."
Irene looked like she was ready to punch Ellen.
"Irene, stop!" I cried. "This won't get us anywhere!"
Irene paused, and slowly calmed down, but still looked quite pissed off.
"Smart move." Ellen stated. "It would me quite unwise to knock out someone right before the investigation, and of course the class trial."
Irene growled at Ellen as people started to enter the bathroom. Harvey was first.
"What happened?" Harvey asked, then he saw the entire sight, screamed like a little girl, and then fainted.
"Did Harvey seriously faint?" I asked.
"I guess he isn't used to seeing dead bodies." Irene added. "Which of course is always a good thing."
"Worthless idiot." Ellen said.
Gavin and Sam ran into the bathroom next.
"Oh my God!" Gavin exclaimed, who looked simply horrified.
"Miranda!" Sam screamed, who was struggling to hold back tears.
RK, Sapphire, and Rory piled in next in that exact order.
"No! Not again!" Sapphire cried.
"Fuck me." Rory gulped.
"Looks like we have another class trial coming up." RK added.
I nodded. "This won't be good."
"When is it ever."
Bridget ran in next, followed by Simon shortly afterwards.
"What is this?!" Bridget cried as she was hugged by Irene.
"Obviously the quiet cunt had her fucking eyes gauged out." Simon replied.
Irene started to walk over to Simon, looking like she was gonna murder him, but his next words stopped her in her tracks.
"And it looks like her water squirting boyfriend killed her."
Everyone in the bathroom, minus the currently passed out Harvey of course had turned their attention onto Simon and then the bloody message, which Simon was pointing at.
"Dane killed her?" Rory asked.
"No freaking way!" Sam cried. "That can't be right!"
"Then why did Miranda write that he did?!" Sapphire whined as she pointed to the bloody message.
"Could Dane...be the killer?" Gavin questioned.
"Don't jump to conclusions!" I cried.
"Dane!" I cried to myself. "If he isn't the killer, he's going to be so traumatized..."
"Where is Dane?" Bridget asked.
"Kind of suspicious." Rory added.
After those words, Dane ran into the bathroom. "What happened?" Dane then looked around and saw the sight. "Miranda...Miranda!" Dane ran over to her body, his eyes were solely focused it. "Miranda?"
"I'm sorry, Dane." Irene said sadly.
"Dane..." I tried to say.
"MIRANDA!" Dane shocked most of us by falling to his knees and starting to cry his eyes out. "No! Miranda! Miranda!"
"She's dead." Ellen stated, quite coldly. "Pull yourself together."
"Ellen, stop it" Irene growled.
"Silence you fool. We don't have time to protect feelings."
"You bet you don't!" Aqua Tail shouted as he joined us in the bathroom.
"No!" Bridget begged. "Don't tell me..."
"Yes, I will tell you!" Aqua Tail looked down at Harvey, who was still passed out on the floor. "Somebody wake up Harvey!"
"I think things are better when he's unconscious."
"Either wake him up now, or the time will cut into your investigation until he's up!"
At those words, Ellen walked over to Harvey and kicked him in the head, waking him up.
"Mommy!" Harvey cried as shot up in confusion and pain.
"Nice of you to join us, Dip Shit Armstrong." Simon snickered.
"What the hell happened?" Harvey then turned to the murder scene and screamed. "Holy shit! Somebody killed Miranda! He then looked at her dying message. "And it was the water girl!"
Mostly everyone in the bathroom turned their attention to Dane, who was now looking at the dying message, and starting to panic. "No...This isn't...This isn't true!"
"I'll be the judge of that!" Sapphire declared.
"No, I'm the judge actually." Aqua Tail responded. "And enough of your stupid talking! Listen up here!"
Everyone turned their attention to Aqua Tail, I had long started playing with my ponytail as I was freaking the fuck out.
"Same shit, new murder." Aqua Tail laughed. "Your tablets now have a file for the murder of our dear movie extra, and as always you have two hours to investigate her murder. I know it's late, and most of you are probably tired, and you can use these two hours however you want, but I would use them for searching instead of sleeping. Cause don't you forget, we have the class trial afterwards! And if you vote for the wrong person, everyone except the killer dies!"
"No!" Harvey cried. "I don't want to die!"
"We know how it goes, Aqua Tail." Ellen stated. "Don't waste my time with repeating the same old garbage each time."
"Well, excuse me, PRINCESS!" Aqua Tail responded.
"I don't wanna do this again!" I cried to myself as I played with my ponytail. "But...But...I have to! I have to do my best to ensure we survive this! Well...everyone except the killer..."
"You kids got what you need!" Aqua Tail started laughing. "And man, can I not wait for this next class trial! It's gonna be great!"
"Just start the time limit." Ellen ordered.
"Man, I bet you're fun at parties. But whatever, you have two hours to investigate. Good luck!" Aqua Tail ran out of the bathroom, leaving us with Miranda's body.
Irene groaned, before walking into the middle of the bathroom. "Guys-"
"Shut up." Ellen interrupted.
"Excuse me?"
"Shut up, we all know what we have to do, at least I hope the rest of you know, no time to waste."
"But Ellen!" Gavin tried to say.
"No, shut up. Harvey and Sam, you two guard the body again. The rest of you, get searching. Now." Ellen walked out of the bathroom.
"Stupid cunt." Simon muttered.
"We can't afford to worry about Ellen right now." Bridget replied. "This is horrible, but we have to investigate again."
"Bridget is right." RK agreed.
"Even though it should be pretty clear on who's guilty." Sapphire added as she glared at Dane, who was oblivious.
"Knock it off, Sapphire." Irene ordered. "Now is not the time for accusations."
"That will happen at the class trial." I added.
"Shit this sucks." Sam said. "But we all gotta do our part, right Harvey?"
"Mommy!" Harvey cried, who looked pretty scared at the moment.
"Never mind."
"We can do this guys!" Gavin shouted. "We did it twice before, and we can do it again!"
"At least I'm not the suspicious one right now." Rory added.
"We can do this." Henry suddenly said.
"Henry?" Bridget stated, quite surprised.
Henry's expression looked struggling, but partially determined to survive. How he be getting better?
"I know before I said we wouldn't make it off this island, and that appears to be the case for Miranda and her killer, but the rest of us have a chance, we'll always have a chance."
I smiled. "You're absolutely right, Henry."
"Okay, you fuckfaces." Simon cut in. "The cosmetology cunt is right, no time to fucking waste. Move your stupid asses."
"Simon..." Irene looked mad and ready to burst on him, but she then realized we had to move. "Later...Sam and Harvey, guard the crime scene. Everyone else, let's get moving.
With that, the next investigation has begun. Some people ran out of the bathroom to look for clues elsewhere, but most people stayed at the crime scene to look at the more obvious clues. As always, I pulled out my tablet to check the file, which was under the files app, labeled "Murder 3." "The victim is Miranda Lancer, the Ultimate Movie Extra. The time of death is 2:20AM. The cause of death is stab wounds in her eyes sockets. The body was discovered in the girls bathroom."
"Okay! That is actually decent!" I thought to myself. "Mainly the time of death, but can most people provide an alibi since they were most likely asleep at the time?"
Evidence-File 3
I then checked the time on my tablet, it was just about three in the morning.
"Holy shit!" I cried to myself. "Miranda died not even forty minutes ago! And most likely, she was attacked less than an hour ago!"
Shaking those thoughts off to the side, I approached Sam and Harvey, who were guarding Miranda's body.
"Oh shit man, oh shit!" Harvey whimpered.
"What the hell is wrong with you, Harvey?" Sam asked. "You're never this scared."
"All these murders are freaking me out!"
"Obviously." I added
Sam and Harvey both turned to me.
"Hey, Natalie." Sam greeted.
"Hi Sam." I returned the greeting.
"This is just so fucked up!" Harvey complained.
Ignoring Harvey, I shifted my entire focus onto Miranda'a body. Her eyes being impaled with glass shards really stood out.
"What kind of sick son of a sick kills someone, so cruel like that!" Sam exclaimed. "Why did they have to be extra and stab her in the eyes?"
"Whatever the reason, I doubt we'll understand it." I replied. "But the way they killed her will be important to talk about later.
Evidence-Glass Shards in Eyes
I then turned my focus to the other two glass shards in Miranda's body, the two that impaled her hands.
"Man!" Harvey shrieked. "That is fricking scary!"
I groaned. "What, Harvey?"
"The glass impaling Miranda's hands to the floor! I wonder if the killer did that to prevent her from escaping the bathroom!"
I groaned. "Harvey, those glass shards aren't impaling Miranda's hands to the floor, they're just impaled into her hands. Also, the glass isn't strong enough to impale anything to the hard, wooden floor of this bathroom."
"Oh!"
"Moron!" I though to myself. "But I am glad he brought it up because I do too wonder why the killer use glass shards on Miranda's hands."
Evidence-Glass Shards in Hands
"Stay cool on guard duty guys." I said to Sam and Harvey, I'm gonna see what else I can find."
"Go get em, Natalie!" Sam cast me a double thumbs up.
"Save me at the class trial again." Harvey stated.
I waved to them, before shifting my gaze to the dying message that was next to the body. Sapphire was kneeling down right next to it. I walked over to join her.
"This is all the proof we need!" Sapphire exclaimed.
"You already decided that Dane is the killer?" I asked
"Girl! Don't be dumb! Miranda used the last of her strength to leave us this message!"
I looked at Sapphire, then the message, then the body, the message again, and back to Sapphire. "I'm not saying Dane is innocent, cause he certainly is suspicious, but we can't just say he's guilty just yet."
"Girl! It's obviously him! Think about it! Besides this message, the reason Miranda was killed like this is so we wouldn't think it's Dane!"
"Huh?"
"Dane's a pussy, we can all agree on that. And at first look at this crime scene, you wouldn't think a pussy did it, therefore not thinking it was Dane, but that was just his plan to cast suspicion from him! But I didn't fall for it!"
I groaned, before looking back at the message.
"This message is written so neat." I though to myself. "Well for something written in blood after a murder just happened of course, but did Miranda really write this as she was dying in her final breaths?"
Evidence-Dying Message
"This will be the easiest class trial yet!" Miranda cheered.
I sighed. "I hope you're right, Sapphire." I got up and left her.
"I know I'm right!"
I walked up to the sink and mirror that were both obviously involved in the murder due to all the blood and the mirror being shattered. Rory was checking out the sink, while Gavin was inspecting the mirror.
"Hey guys." I greeted as I approached them.
They both turned to me.
"Hey, Natalie!" Gavin greeted.
"What up." Rory added.
"Just hanging in there." I replied. "What do you guys think of the sink and mirror?"
"Well I think they were definitely involved in the murder." Rory teased.
I glared at him. "What tipped you off? All the blood!"
"Yeah."
Rolling my eyes, I then turned to the sink. It honestly didn't have too much on it compared to the mirror and the other parts of the bathroom used in the murder of Miranda. There was a bit of washed up blood in the sink, and some on the faucet and top of the sink that definitely feel from the mirror, and then just a bit on the front of the sink.
"I wonder if the killer injured Miranda at all with the sink before finishing her off." Rory stated.
"I don't know, just yet." I replied. "But we'll figure out the truth.
Evidence-Sink
"I bet the killer washed their hands after they killed Miranda." Rory continued. "Bloody hands would of easily singled them out as the killer if they ran into someone after leaving or for when we all got here."
"Yeah, that's right."
"Well at least we can definitely say for sure they bashed Miranda's head into the mirror." Gavin added, while continuing to study it.
"I can definitely agree with you there, Gavin." I studied the mirror too. It was smashed in with glass shards and blood both stuck inside it and fallen to the ground.
"Damn!" I cried to myself. "Miranda really did suffer before she died."
Evidence-Mirror
"And those glass shards from the mirror have got to be sharp." Gavin continued. "The killer had to have cut their hand or hands when stabbing Miranda with them, which of course they could easily wash off in the sink."
"Hey!" Rory said out of nowhere. "Yeah, they can wash a cut to hide it if is small enough, but for a bigger cut, you can't hide it by simply washing it!"
"So if anyone has any big cuts on their hands, they are most likely the killer! Way to go, Rory!"
Gavin and Rory high-fived.
"Good thinking guys." I complimented. "But just because the killer used the glass shards doesn't mean they cut themselves and of course, they could of used protection on their hands to avoid cuts, so I wouldn't hold onto that ideas as our saving grace."
"Of course!" Gavin exclaimed. "We'll keep looking!"
"Don't worry, Natalie." Rory reassured. "We'll be fine."
Gavin and Rory went back to looking, while I headed over for the broken pile of whatever. Simon was there as well, getting a good look at it.
"Any ideas, Simon?" I asked, but instantly regretted asking him.
He looked up at me. "You're a whore."
"Fuck you!"
"Okay, now and nude."
"Fucking asshole, any actual ideas?!"
"It's a fucking tablet, you dumb bitch."
"Tablet...Shit! It is!"
"Obviously, you dumb bitch."
I looked hard at the pieces and the more I looked, the more I saw a tablet. "And assuming the killer didn't have access to someone else's tablet or any of the tablets of anyone who died, then this busted up one should belong to them."
"Two things, bitch."
"What?!"
"Nice, dumbass logic, but you forgot the new corpse's tablet."
"...Fuck..."
"Thankfully for you, office whore, her tablet is on her if you looked close enough at her skirt."
That was a fucked up thing to say, but I quickly turned my eyes back to Miranda's body, and saw her tablet was on her.
"This tablet is definitely not Miranda's."
"Sure bitch, but I did say two things, and here is number two, bitch. Before you say at the class trial, whoever can't present a tablet is the killer, think about it."
"What, Simon?!"
"Dumb bitch, we were called in the middle of the fucking night and left our huts! Do you really think anyone brought their tablets? Cause I fucking didn't."
I just realized, I didn't have mine either.
"And you didn't either, whore."
"Enough!" I was getting pissed off at Simon. "Just freaking drop it, you asshole!"
Simon snickered. "What the fuck, ever!"
I flipped him off before returning to the broken tablet on the ground.
"Why did the killer smash up their tablet?" I thought to myself. "What reasons could be for that?"
Evidence-Broken Tablet
I left the pieces of broken tablet to get one last look at the bathroom, just to make sure I didn't miss anything, before I left the crime scene just to see where else the killer may of left clues. One I left the bathrooms, I ran into RK, who was outside the bathrooms.
"RK!" I greeted. "How are you doing with your investigation?"
"Not too good honestly." RK replied. "Besides the bathroom, I have no idea where to look for clues."
"Yeah I hear you, I just finished looking around the entire bathroom."
"There is one thing I do gotta wonder about."
"And what would that be?"
"Why the killer chose the bathrooms as their murder location, as well as how they went about using said location."
"What do you mean, RK?"
"The bathrooms are unpredictable, so it had to have been risky to use them for a murder. Anyone could of walked into either side at any moment, as well as two or more people at the same time, which would of ruined everything for the killer."
"Oh shit!"
"And going back to anyone could of used the bathrooms during the killer's attack, does that mean their target was simply the first person they saw coming their way, or was Miranda still the target from the start? Miranda was honestly one of the easiest, maybe the easiest people to take down, but is that all regardless if there was no target? Was the killer hiding in the girls side, or maybe they started on the boys side, or perhaps they were hiding outside, waiting for the first unlucky person to come into either side of the bathroom?"
"Damn man, that is a lot to take in, but it is all really relevant to this case."
Evidence-Bathrooms
"Yeah, but that's all I really got for now. I'm gonna keep looking, you should too, Natalie."
"Right on, RK!"
I smiled and waved at him as he kept on moving, and I did the same. I checked elsewhere on the island, but I didn't find jack shit, and time was running out. I eventually ended up on the beach, where I ran into Henry.
"Henry, how are you doing?" I asked.
"As best as I can." Henry calmly replied.
"That's good." I smiled at him.
"Though I can't stop thinking about the motive."
"The motive, why?"
"Mainly due to the fact the murder happened so fast after the first time we saw that horrible video. Unless someone was already planning a murder right before Aqua Tail made us watch the video, I definitely think this out of nowhere murder was caused by someone's extreme reaction to the latest motive."
"Yeah, I can definitely see that being a thing."
"Someone really didn't want to watch another video."
"But to the point of cruelly murdering someone?"
"I guess so, unfortunately."
"Such as dark thought." I thought to myself. "But I do agree the motive is going to be brought up at the class trial."
Evidence-Motive 3
"Good points there, Henry." I said. "I'm gonna check out the beach, you keep hanging in there."
Henry cast me a small smile. "Okay, Natalie."
I waved goodbye to Henry and started to check out the beach. I then noticed Bridget was down by the water, looking down at something. I ran down to check it out with her.
"Did you find something, Bridget?" I asked
Bridget looked up at me. "Indeed I did, Natalie. And I'm not sure if it is artistic or not."
"What is it?" I looked down to see what Bridget was looking at. It was tons of crushed seashells, lying all along the sand and going both ways.
"What the hell!" I was a bit surprised.
"I know, right!" Bridget agreed. "I have no idea what happened here either. Is this artistic cause it could be a clue for Miranda's murder? Or is it simply not artistic?!"
I looked down at all the crushed shells. "I don't fully know myself, but I'm sure these shells are somewhat related to this case cause this happened for a reason."
Evidence-Crushed Seashells
"This is all simply not artistic, Natalie!" Bridget cried.
"I agree, Bridget." I replied. "But we gotta stay strong, so very artistic."
Bridget nodded. "Right!"
I waved goodbye to Bridget, and then continued to walk along the beach. I ended up my the campfire area, where I saw Dane was sitting down, and appeared to be very depressed.
"Dane..." I called over to him.
Dane slowly looked up at me. "Hi, Natalie..."
"What are you doing?"
"Just sitting in self pity."
"Wow, how honest." I thought to myself.
"Are you doing okay?" I asked with a lot of concern.
"No." Dane sadly replied as he caught up. He really did look depressed. "Miranda's been brutally murdered, the class trial is coming up, and while I have no idea who could of done it, I know people are going to blame me due to that dying message."
"I see..."
"You have to believe me, Natalie, I didn't kill her! I didn't!"
"Calm down, Dane."
"I would never of done anything to hurt her, I wouldn't!"
"Easy Dane... How about you tell me what happened before she died, anything that you can recall that might help us during the class trial?"
Dane shuddered at my request. "She was staying over in my hut tonight, and at some point, I don't recall the time, she left my hut to use the bathroom. And that...that was the last time I saw Miranda..."
"Okay."
"This is my fault!" Dane started to get upset. "I should of gone with her! She'd still be alive if I'd been an even okay boyfriend to her!"
"Dane! You have to calm down, please! This wasn't your fault, nothing was. The only fault belongs to the killer, and we need you to have a cool head when we go into the class trial so we can take the killer down."
Dane slowly calmed down, but was still a bit worked up.
"Anything else?" I asked. "Anything else that can be helpful for the class trial?"
Dane shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. Like I said when she left to use the bathroom, that was the last time I saw her. But of course, I can't prove I stayed behind in my hut, so I doubt anyone will believe me."
"It isn't an alibi, but I do wanna keep that in mind." I thought to myself.
Evidence-Dane's Shaky Alibi
"Okay then, well I'm gonna continue my search with the little time we have left, stay cool Dane, we'll need you for the class trial."
"No you don't." Dane sat back down. "There's nothing I can do to help, nothing."
Things were getting a bit awkward, so I waved goodbye to Dane and headed back the way I came. Once I got to the front of the beach, I saw Irene was on the hotel patio, investigating. I ran up to talk to her.
"Irene, how are you doing?" I asked once I got up.
Irene turned around to face me, she also appeared to be suffering. "Hi Natalie, I am doing my best to stay strong for everyone... But I admit, it has been hard..."
"Irene, you can't keep blaming yourself when murders happen, they'll never your fault."
"I was elected leader of this group, I'm the one who is suppose to make sure we all got all of this island safe and sound... And that won't ever be the case for five...maybe six of us...or if we can't beat this class trial, seventeen of us!"
"Irene! Stop that kind of talk!"
Irene let out a deep breath. "I'm sorry, Natalie. I just haven't been feeling my full strength... Ever since I first discovered Miranda's body."
"Oh right, you were at the bathroom with Ellen when Henry and I arrived. Did something happen before hand?"
Irene sighed. "Well after we talked about the motive, I didn't head to bed like the rest of you did, I stayed out and trained."
"Trained?"
Irene nodded. "I knew we were gonna be in for a hard time with having to watch those horrible video, so I knew I needed to be strong and at my best for both myself and as the leader of the rest of you. Therefore, I stayed out to train for hours after our motive talk. I decided to call it a night at two in the morning. But on my way back to my hut, I stopped to use the bathroom, and that's when I saw the body."
"Oh wow!"
Irene nodded. "All that training was for nothing, cause I feel so weak right now."
"Don't feel that way, Irene. Stay strong, we need you."
Irene sighed. "I will try."
"And going back to what happened, did Ellen show up at the bathroom after you did?"
Irene nodded. "She came in only minutes after me, which then caused Aqua Tail to call the rest of you."
"So if he called us after you two saw the body, then the killer must have been the first one to technically see it, followed by you, and then Ellen."
"That appears to be the case."
Evidence-Irene Training
"I'm gonna go for now, Irene. But please, you have to stay strong, you're still the leader."
Irene smiled at me. "Thank you, Natalie. I will try."
I waved goodbye to Irene, and decided to quickly look around the hotel. I walked into the hotel lobby and saw Ellen standing in the middle of the room. She turned to me and frowned.
"Hi Ellen..." I greeted.
"Don't bother with this hotel." Ellen replied. "I checked each room and didn't find anything."
"Okay then..."
"I hope you haven't been wasting your time during this investigation."
Now I was annoyed. "Kind of like how you're wasting my time now?"
"Idiot girl, the two hours are gonna be up in a few minutes, the investigation is pretty much over."
"No, we still got time left, and I know how I'm gonna spend it. Ellen, Irene said you showed up at the bathrooms only minutes after she walked in and discovered the body."
"Yes, that did happen."
"What were you doing before hand? Where you already on your way to the bathrooms from your hut when Irene was walking to the bathrooms?"
Ellen shook her head. "I didn't come from my hut, I was already out long past I had decided to stop at the bathrooms."
I was now curious. "How long were you out for?"
Ellen shook her head again. "You're in over you head, Natalie. You're not gonna solve this case simply from questioning me. Also, my account is gonna remain a mystery until I decide to bring it up during the class trial."
"Huh?"
"Are you that damn stupid? You won't be getting anything else out of me until I decide to bring it up during the class trial, if I even decide to."
"You know you're only making yourself look suspicious."
"Possibly, but I can ensure you that I am not the killer, and what I have to say will steer the trial in a certain direction, but you'll have to wait to find out."
"Why are you doing this?!"
Ellen cast me a creepy smile. "For the laughs."
"For fuck sake, this bitch is crazy." I thought to myself. "Just what is she hiding?"
Evidence-Ellen's Secrets
"Hey people!" Aqua Tail shouted all over the island. "Time is up, but time for the trial! Everyone get your asses to the cave on the beach, now!"
"You heard Aqua Tail." Ellen said quite calmly, but evilly. "Let's get to the cave."
I groaned as I left the hotel lobby with Ellen.
It didn't take too long for everyone that was left to arrive at the cave on the side of the beach. Aqua Tail was with us as well.
"I believe that is all of you, so get ready to go into the cave, guys!" Aqua Tail exclaimed.
"This it it, everybody!" Gavin exclaimed. "We can do this!"
"Oh I know we can." Sapphire agreed as she eyed Dane, quite suspiciously. "Especially since we already know who the killer is!"
"Please!" Dane begged. "It wasn't me, I didn't kill her!"
"I'll teach you to kill people!" Harvey roared as he bashed his fists together and started to approach Dane.
Sam quickly grabbed Harvey by his throat. "No you won't, cut it out!"
"Okay! Ow!"
Sam threw Harvey on the ground. "Dumbass."
"Everyone, stay focused." Henry pleaded. "This isn't the time to loose focus."
"Since when do you stop moping like a whinny little emo bitch?" Simon asked.
"Since I realized I still had more to live for in life."
"Right on, man!" Rory agreed.
"We did this twice before, we can do it for a third time." RK added.
"This is never artistic, but we always have to do our best!" Bridget cheered.
Irene smiled at Bridget. "I will do my best."
"We got this, guys." I added.
"Why do I have to be stuck with this group of people?" Ellen asked out loud.
"Okay!" Aqua Tail shouted angrily. "Enough stalling! Everyone get into the court room, right now!"
One by one, we all walked slowly into the cave and headed for the court room. I played with my ponytail as I did. I tried not be scared, but I was. Someone had murdered Miranda, and in such a cruel, cruel way. And the only way to ensure the safety of the rest of us, was to sentence the killer to death.
