At Ragna, the Aether Cruiser docks back again to Macross Elysion while Ken's Stealth Class Cruiser landed within the ocean while making a big splash.
Within Macross Elysion's medical bay room, Ken is taken into a large scanner as his body gets scanned with a red laser that soon showed the man's skeleton, nerves, organs, and everything on a monitor board that is being checked by the doctors.
While the doctors work, Arad and Kaname stands by and watch Ken getting out of the large scanner before getting taken to a seat by a table where his eyes, nose, mouth, and ears were getting checked for his perceptual senses.
"how's the check on his internal, Doctor?" Arad asked the doctor who is checking Ken's internal body scan while typing on a data pad before turning to look at the Major then back to monitor screen that showed a 3D scan of Ken's body in several forms.
"it would seem that Captain Siriunis' body isn't suffering from any injury or disease, but his brain is somehow overworked." The doctor explained while pointing to the image of Ken's brain that is enlarged on the monitor screen. "the medulla systems of the brain are somehow rather small and had been forcibly worked beyond its limit. This may have been because of too much information being process and uncompressed by a large number."
"meaning?" Kaname asked while looking a bit confused.
"something had transferred dozens of information directly into the Captain's brain and forcibly overworked it." The doctor replied while pointing to one part of Ken's brain that has implants for his artificial right eye. "I assume it is from his artificial eye that is directly connected to his brain. The brain's neutrons and electrons are connected with it and transfer information in a both linked wave."
"so the information that the Captain got was too much that his brain needs a break?" said Arad while understanding. "it's not life threatening, right?"
"he will just have minor headaches while also having small amount of bleeding from his eyes, nose, mouth, and ears from the brain's overworked activity" said the doctor while checking Ken's scan before back to Arad. "but he will be fine after a few days of rest."
"I see, that's good to hear" said Arad with a smile and a nod before he turns to the door that slides open to reveal Hayate, Mirage, Freyja, and Mikumo coming in.
Mikumo instantly went to Ken who stood up before getting a hug from the Mysterious Venus who had a relieved smile to see him again even after the two had parted ways when arriving to Elysion just an hour ago.
Arad and Kaname smiles to the two before looking at Hayate, Mirage, and Freyja. The trio seems to have come along to accompany Mikumo.
"I can guess that Mikumo-san just wanted to be with the Captain as soon as possible?" Arad asked while getting a nod from the trio that made him chuckle and then sigh. "the two are so inseparable, huh?"
"how's the report to Lady M coming up?" Hayate asked as they had several plans that needed to be discussed, one of which was the attacked Al-Shahal planet.
"the report was sent, but we all need to prepare." Said Arad as Kaname holds out her data pad that she activates and showed the trio several live images of Al-Shahal's city that is in ruins.
"the city…" Mirage muttered out with a shocked face.
"the casualties are at a minimum, and the unknown Lucifer units that attacked the city and us were gone in just an hour or so." Arad stated as the images moves around. "this Meltys Kurenai is a very fearsome woman, she just attacked the city for no reason and attacked us to get Mikumo-san."
"what should we do?" Freyja asked while looking a bit nervous and scared.
"we were told to be on standby by Lady M." said Kaname. "for now, we have no lead on when and where Meltys Kurenai will strike, therefore protection over Mikumo and Ragna comes as our number one priority."
"and don't forget the fact that she has ways of hacking." Scarlet's voice spoke out as a small hologram form of her appeared on top of Kaname's data pad. "I'll tell you guys everything about that fricking bitch to every knowledge I know of her. and remember to never give her a chance of mercy. If she surrender, take the shot and take her out."
"take her out? hey, we just don't kil-" said Hayate but Scarlet soon cuts him off.
"listen to me!" said Scarlet with a serious face and a firm voice. "you guys don't know anything about this bitch's personality and what she will do to get what she wants. She can't be allowed to live. Not a second time or any time. She's dangerous and extremely deadly."
"w-when you put it that way.." said Freyja while looking scared and surprised to hear and see Scarlet in such a mood.
"just what happened between Scarlet Retran and this Meltys Kurenai?" Arad asked Scarlet before taking a quick glance at Ken who is putting on his normal clothes while Mikumo stands by and watch him then back to the AI woman. "Mikumo-san heard from this woman that the real man named Ken Siriunis being a dangerous man before."
"that part is true." Said Scarlet while crossing her arms and closed her eyes. "the real Ken Siriunis did many things that ranged from assassinating multiple terrorist groups in broad daylight to the point of destroying a Macross Class battleship that has terrorist and hostages on board. But those actions were done by the real Ken Siriunis, not our Ken. He just has the original's memories transferred into his mind, that's all. Anything else is nothing."
"n-nothing, you said?" said Mirage while sweatdropping.
"all that matters is that we need to prepare to get to Baraqut." Said Arad while having his arms crossed. "the information that we need against Meltys Kurenai is on that planet. It's nearly 10000 light years away, but we'll make it there."
"I'll inform Lady M of our little plan." Scarlet told Arad who nodded before her hologram form disappeared.
Arad looks a bit firm for one moment before he turns to look at Ken and Mikumo, both walking to the ground while intertwining their hands together.
"since the captain and all of us are on standby, how about we go for some of Ragnyanyan jellyfish pot stickers?" Arad suggested with a smile. "my treat!"
Moments later, everyone got to Ragnyanyan where Chuck served them his restaurant's dishes along with the treated Pot stickers.
"thanks for waiting! Jellyfish Pot stickers and jellyfish ramen served up!" Chuck exclaimed while placing the dishes to a table that everyone is sharing together.
"thanks for the meal!" everyone said in unison as they eat the meal together.
Ken picks up a pot sticker with his chopsticks as he bites and chews it in his mouth before swallowing then smiled for the delicious taste of the dish. The man then went for the jellyfish ramen as he eats a few strands of noodles before pausing to chew them in his mouth. He repeated the process a few times while getting watched by Arad and Kaname.
"seems that even after the whole incident at Al-Shahal, the captain is still a glutton, huh?" said Arad with a small smile while holding his chopsticks.
"that is a good thing." Kaname added in with a smile.
Hayate who sat with Mirage and Freyja by his side was about to eat a pot sticker that he picks up with his chopsticks when he sneezes hard.
"aw man!" Hayate looks around and spotted Don coming into the restaurant with Qlulu riding on his back. "who let you two out of the dorm?!"
"hey, everyone~!" Makina hollered out as she with Reina came walking in while following Don and Qlulu. "sorry, we're late! We were finding Don-chan and Qlulu-chan at the dorm and brought them here! Sorry, Hayahaya!"
"hi and sorry" said Reina while chewing on a Jellyfish bun.
"you should've left these two at the dorm." Said Hayate while sniffling his nose and looking at Don who gets picked up to the table by Ken.
Don meowed with a smirk before he got fed with some pot stickers by Ken.
"Chuck! Our usual order please!" Makina hollered out to Chuck at the kitchen while she with Reina sat at a table near the group.
"right'o!" Chuck replied while cooking up some rice in a pan and on a flaming hot stove.
Everyone started to chat together while eating their meal as the mood is all happy and cheerful.
Ken slurps up some noodles from his jellyfish ramen bowl while Don and Qlulu are eating some jellyfish pot stickers together on a plane while sitting on the table.
The man finished his meal while having some soup sticking on his lips that soon gets wiped away by Mikumo who uses a tissue. He smiles to Mikumo who smiled back while giggling. Ken placed his right hand on Mikumo's cheek and wipe away some sauce that are stuck on the side of her lips, returning the favour that she did before.
"so much lovey dovey, right?" said Makina while seeing Ken and Mikumo being in a couple like mood.
"love and dovey" Reina added in with a smile.
"if only Hayate does the same for Mirage and Freyja-chan, right?" said Chuck while walking by and served Makina and Reina's ordered dish to their table.
"right?" said Makina and Reina in unison.
"we can hear you three, you know?" said Hayate with a deadpanned look while Mirage and Freyja were blushing while eating their jellyfish ramen.
Ken smiles to Mikumo as both sat close to each other before the man feels his heart beating too hard to the point that his face scrunched up in pain while his right hand flew to hold his chest on the side where his heart is.
"Ken?" Mikumo looks at Ken's action with a confused face before she gasped when the man started coughing out blood from his mouth that splattered on the table. "Ken?!"
Everyone instantly turned their attention to Ken as the man is bleeding out more blood by the passing second, his face showing an expression of intense pain, and pulsing glowing purple tattoo like marks started to appear all over his body.
"Captain Siriunis!" Hayate exclaimed as Ken grunted in pain while his right hand clenches his chest hard. "hey!"
"s-she's coming!" Ken grunted out as his artificial right eye's pupil glows red, his pained face turning into rage. "Meltys is coming to Ragna!"
"what?" said Arad in confusion before the Elysion's alarm rang out in an instant, surprising everyone.
"the alarm?!" Mirage stated in surprise before multiple alarm bells rang from the group's phone.
Everyone takes out their phone and an emergency sign showed on their screens.
'emergency! Emergency! Unknown signals coming into Ragna's air space!" Nina's voice called out from everyone's phone that soon showed a live broadcast recording of Ragna's space that is getting filled with many Defold portals which dozens of battleships came flying out. "unknown enemies in bound! I repeat!"
"that many battleships!?" said Hayate in surprise before a screen pops up from his phone and showed a communication screen with Ernest.
"everyone! We got enemies and they're not friendly in any matter!" Ernest told the Delta Platoon. "this is probably the same enemy that attacked Al-Shahal just a few hours before!"
"alright!" said Arad before he shuts his phone off and looks at the group. "the Walkure are on standby with Ken! Everyone! Let's go!"
"no!" said Ken as he stood up while looking to still be in pain. "I'm going out there too!"
Ken was about to go off when he fell to his knees and Mikumo instantly went to him.
"in your state, you can't fly a VF even if you wanted to!" said Arad before he looks at Kaname. "evacuate with the others, Kaname-san."
"understood" Kaname replied before Arad with Hayate, Mirage, and Chuck ran out of the restaurant.
Kaname looks at Ken as the man wheezes out his breath in pain while still coughing out some blood from his lips.
In space, numerous amounts of Battleships from variety of classes flew through as they are all heading straight for Ragna.
A Macross Class Battleship flew in the middle of the armada as within its command center is Meltys who sat on the commander seat while her fleet launches out VF-27y Lucifer units that are flying straight for the planet.
"set 2 more platoons of Lucifers to area EE41 and prepare Macross Transformation" said Meltys to a screen that has a connected voice line on contact. "I want everyone on that planet who can be an obstacle eradicated. Prioritize the capture of Mikumo Guynemer, I want her alive."
"understood" a reply came from the voice line before the screen disappeared and Meltys stood up from the seat and went near the large monitor screens that showed her fleet flying straight for Ragna's airspace.
"now then.." Meltys muttered out while her lips formed a smirk. "my plans will be completed with Mikumo Guynemer in my hands."
Meltys watch her platoons of Lucifers flying into Ragna's atmosphere before they were all destroyed by a large and powerfully charged heavy quantum beam that came right from the planet.
The beam flew through space and hits a black Macross Uraga class cruiser that explodes upon hit.
"what?" said Meltys with a surprised look before a monitor pops up and showed the Macross Elysion flying into space in Attack mode while launching out its platoon's units out into space. "predictable that they would attack back."
The Macross Elysion flew in space as Captain Ernest sees the numbers of enemy battleships that were present on the large monitor screen.
"Heavy Quantum Cannon destroyed 14 of enemy's Lucifer units and Uraga Class!" Nina reported. "13 Northampton Class! 10 Stealth Class! 15 Uraga Class still present! 10 platoons of Lucifer units also!"
"this Meltys Kurenai must have lots of numbers in her bank account to have this size of a fleet." Said Ernest before he activates a live communication feed with Arad.
"Major Arad! This is a big battle that we won't come out easy! I've already requested reinforcement from the NUNS base from other planets, but they won't be coming until an hour! We need to hold on with what we have till they arrive!" Ernest's voice spoke out in Arad's Siegfried comms lines while the man is piloting his unit in space and faced the large number of enemy Lucifer units.
"I can see that!" Arad replied while looking serious at the amount of enemy that are coming in. the Major soon shared a live communication feed with his team. "everyone! Be on guard and take them down with no remorse! They came here planning to attack our home. we give them hell, got it?!"
"roger!" "Right'o!" Hayate and the others replied.
"formation Triton!" Arad exclaimed before every Platoon on Macross Elysion flew off attacking the enemy units while the large Macross Cruiser started firing missiles and plasma beams at the enemy's battleships.
Meltys looks at the Macross Elysion along with its launched platoon members on board as she looks at every single one before chuckling.
"seems that our little encounter from before left a mark on you" said Meltys before chuckling. "not like I expected for you to come in the moment of battle right now."
Meltys snapped her fingers once and her fleet's Lucifer units started to fly straight for the Macross Elysion.
Meanwhile on Ragna, Mikumo is with Ken in the Island ship's medical room area as she sat by a bed which has Ken resting on it.
Ken breathes with the help of an oxygen mask while a doctor came and injected then strapped an IV fluid to him.
Mikumo looks at Ken with a worried frown as she soon looks at a nearby monitor screen that showed the battle at space.
