Sorry for the recent delays, bipolar disorder depression is a unique monster that needs harsh tackling... so it mania, sticking to one thing is really hard. It makes writing really hard, having a fully mixed episode.. which is a real monster if you've ever seen one.
"Did you sleep, Izuku?" Bakugo asked, leaning against the wall of the Hosptial room he was in. Though he barely played a part in the fight, they had made him stay the night in an effort to keep them away from the annoying press clammering for interviews.
"No, not really. At first it was the adrenaline, then it sort of morphed into... just an inability to get the fight from my skull."
"Same, I was barely a part of it and I had the same issues. I guess your first villain fight, the near death experience and all that sticks with you."
"Thinking about that fight now, we did something pretty amazing."
"Yeah, I agree," Bakugo said.
"After everything that happened back there, it feels like a miracle we're even alive. I mean I was lucky to hit him with even one of my sedatives, and it was pretty obvious that he was more interested in killing Iida then anything else so he ignored me more then he should have. At full force I would have been food."
"Yeah. Seems to me he let us both live on purpose." Bakugo turned to Iida. "I think it's time we killed you for endangering us all with your stupid revenge fantasy. He nearly killed your far more powerful brother, what heck were you thinking fighting him on your own?" Bakugo's growl filled the room, making Iida cringe and Izuku laugh then focus his own scowl at the speedster.
"He's got a point, what you did was extremely dumb. I owe you an ass beating, as soon as your healed your getting it." Iida's shiver of actual fear was utterly delicious to the young Quirkless boy.
"Oh, so the injured kiddos are awake," Mirko said, walking into the room with Manual, she had a happy smile on her face. Pride oozing from every cell.
"Mirko!" Izuku and Bakugo said happily.
"And Manual, too," Iida said.
Mirko smirked. "I am proud of you, you were smart and I have a feeling you used what you were taught to win the fight. Good on you... however you've got a visitor," She told the boys as a dog looking man walked into the room. "This is Hosu's chief of police. Kenji Tsuagamae," She introduced.
'Tsuragamae? The-The Chief?' Izuku groaned.
Iida stood up and Bakugo grunted in his direction.
"So, you're the UA students who brought down the Hero Killer, huh?" Chief Tsuagamae asked.
"We are," Bakugo replied, his tone oddly level.
"Stain has some serious injuries: severe electrical burns, nerve damage from being shocked, poisoning from an exceptionally strong unknown sedative, and several broken bones. Right now, he's in the hospital under strict guard, woof. Here's a lesson you should have already learned. When quirks became the norm, the police force sought to maintain the status quo. They decided we wouldn't use Quirks as weapons. That's when heroes came in. They could do what we couldn't, if they were licensed, of course, woof. It would be impossible for the police to condone the use of deadly quirks. After all, we're here to stop such harm from being done. The only reason pros can use their powers now is because of the strict code of ethics that the early heroes chose to abide by. That's why it's against the law for uncertified people to use their quirks to cause injury. Whether you were up against the Hero Killer or not, none of you had the authority to harm the villain. That means the three of you and your supervisors - Manual, and Mirko - should receive harsh punishments for this gross abuse of your powers," Chief Tsuagamae told them.
"If Iida hadn't stepped in, Native would've been murdered. And if not for Izuku of them would be dead," Bakugo barked. "More then that, Izuku has no quirks so no law was broken.
"Bakugo" Iida whispered.
"No one else even realized that the Hero Killer was in Hosu. Are you saying we should've just stood by and watched people die?" Bakugo asked.
"Calm down," Izuku told him.
"So, it's okay to break the law as long as it goes your way?" Chief Tsuagamae asked.
"Izuku has no quirk, again he broke no laws and your not actually right, This falls into self defense. Which is why you cannot actually arrest us. After the USJ incident, I did some research. The only reason we were not punished is that it was defense of others and of the self. We were not acting as Heroes or Heroes in training or even vigilantes. Besides, by arresting us for this you are sending the message that self defense, even for kids, is illegal and morally wrong which would utterly rob your office of any and all positive reputation. No one would trust you for aid, especially victims of abuse be it by outside forces like villains or internal like domestic violence."
The room went quiet at Bakugo's delcaration, and Izuku was proud. 'Katsuki has always been smart, but he's showing off just why he might be the smartest in our class... with meds calming him down and forcing introspection, he is even better.'
The dog looked at him in awe, but it was clear that Bakugo was not done. "Here is what is going to happen, you are going to report that the hero killer attacked Iida and Native and he defended himself. Izuku protected a classmate, he has no quirk so there is no legal footwork there. You will praise them for their work, and Mirko and Manual who were busy stopping the Nomu and Fires respectively. It was a no win situation, and one that was worked to the best of everyone's powers. Are we understood?"
More silence, and then the Dog woofed. "You'd make a good lawyer kid... if you ever stop being a hero, go into that field... alright, you make a good point. I think we will go in that direction... get well and continue to do well. We will need more heroes like you in the future." Almost dizzy, the dog left the room, making Bakugo huff.
" I hate idiots and dumb laws... none of it makes sense if you dig into it."
Izuku laughed, hard. Turning to a stunned Mirko, he barely managed to say. "Trust me, take away his temper and you get the smartezt jerk there is. There is a reason I was once obsessed with him. He can tear someone down with his words better then anyone."
'''
"Oh my gosh! That's so scary! Well, I'm just glad you guys are okay. Uraraka said, the emptiness of the Gunhead training studio echoing despite the other heroes in training present. "Thankfully it sounds like your alright even if you all went through a lot. You get some rest. I wanna hear everything later."
"Thanks.
"Uravity. We're about to start," Gunhead said as he walked up to her.
"Oh! Sorry," Uraraka replied. "I'll see you back at school. I hope I didn't bother you much. I can't wait to show you all I've learned from Gunhead, he's amazing! Bye!" she said to Izuku.
"Was that a boy?" Gunhead asked, almost giggly.
"Yeah. It's not like that. He's just my best friend, and I am not entirely his type... nor is he mine, he's too gruff at times." Uraraka replied.

Izuku finally walked back into his room after finishing his phone call with Uraraka.
"Oh, hey, Tenya. I just talked to Uraraka," Izuku said.
"Izuku. Tenya just got his test results back," Bakugo told him.
"My left hand... might have damage that's permanent," Iida said.
"What? Permanent?" Midoriya asked.
"Both my arms were pretty torn up. But the injury to my left arm was especially severe. There was damage to my brachial plexus. Which just means... I'll have trouble moving my fingers. And my hand might have some numbness. Apparently, there's a chance it could be healed with nerve transplant surgery. When I came across the Hero Killer, I stopped thinking rationally. The first thing I should've done was call Manual. But I got lost in my own anger," Iida said.
"You're completely blinded by selfish desire for revenge. You're about as far away from being a hero as I can imagine," he remembered Stain telling him.
"I hate him so much, but I can't deny he spoke the truth. That's why until I'm able to call myself a real hero, I'll leave my left hand as it is," Iida told them.
Izuku smacked his friend round the head. "Get it fixed or I do worse damage when I beat your ass. Don't be dumb and leave injuries that could endanger others for your hero work. If you want a reminder, I'll give you plenty of scars that will help with that just fine."
Iida shivered again, looking terrified but nodding. "Fine, fine... just don't kill me, please."
Bakugo snorted. "If you say something so dumb again, I'll help him with that ass beating."
Iida just whimpered.
'''
Whoa, they arrested the Hero Killer! Awesome," one of the civilians said.
"Seriously? Who took him down?" another asked.
"That Quirkless kid from the Sports Festival! He had some help with a few of his classmates but still, that he took down the Hero Killer! It's amazing!"
"His spree was exciting in a way," one of them said.
"Yeah, I know what you mean," another replied, not seeing just how... wrong their words were.
Across from them, a video camera crew were reporting on that very topic.
"Now, our continuing coverage. Three villains were captured in the Hosu riots. Their identities and motives are yet unknown. Based on their distinctive appearance, however, and the presence of two people our reporters filmed nearby, many are speculating they're connected to the League of Villains that attacked UA High last month," one of the news reporters said as the TV showed the Nomu's.
"The Hero Killer: Stain claimed many lives. In fact, he has more victims than any other criminal since All Might burst into the scene. With his arrest, everyone in the country can rest a little easier tonight," the other news reporter said.
