Darkwubs; Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it! Yeah, I thought a clash of fire and ice Longinus' would be cool. Kokabiel...yeah definitely~ Asia and Kuroka will be joining soon yeah. We'll see Haruki going all out as the opponents get stronger. Yeah, I've got some ideas about those two stories. Thank you for the suggestions!
danielhaywoodsnow; Yuuto gets better after this arc, and shows some diverse stuff. Kuroka did trust him, she was explaining why she wasn't sure in the beginning, after the stuff she went through with Naberius and her past life. Walburga wont be like that, she's someone from Haruki's past, and she'll be doing something for a little while. Yeah, after this, we'll be getting some slice of life stuff. Thanks.

Silver crow; Thanks! Yeah, Walburga showed up. He got a little involved yeah thanks to his connection with Vali. That would be funny. That's how Serafall views it yeah. Haruki's relationship with Azazel will be shown soon enough. Koneko wanted him to try his best yeah. They could have done that with the Cerberus', they were just being cautious in case. Valper didn't hurt Koneko, he stunned her for a few moments. Kuroka and Haruki had a nice moment. Rias does care for Koneko yeah. Akeno does have her sadistic moments~ Haruki and Walburga have a unique dynamic. Kokabiel's dealt with here. Yeah, he'd be Vice Captain level. Most likely Black Bulls yeah. Maybe he could draw that amount of power from the Devil. I can't reveal about what's gonna happen with Walburga just yet. I've got some ideas for Arthur and Bikou. Those are cool ideas for a possible rewrite of that fic. Ophis and Haruki's relationship will be shown soon enough. Those parts of the fan club would be pretty cool.

Guest 1; Serafall could have a true power form or some special trick she can do together with her move she showed during the Hero Faction raid.
MDM11; I could see that, it would be pretty cool. Serafall doing that would be pretty funny~
Guest 2; That's a pretty cool chant! The powers of it are also pretty cool, like teleporting through different ice and freezing instantly sounds pretty awesome! That would be cool if Michael and Azazel said something about that.
Guest 3; Yeah, it's pretty cool for Akira. The eyes would definitely help him out there. Eventually his power would exceed Diehausers yeah. If he understood the mechanics behind the powers then it would be possible. He probably would blush at Lavinia. That chants awesome~ I like the nicknames, my favourite is Demon God of the Black Blade, but the others are also pretty cool.

Rias could have a full on power team. Either of those two blades would be awesome, thanks for the suggestions!
Guest 8; That's a pretty interesting idea for a Black Clover story. I like the background, and the lineage as well. I like the idea of how he would join the Black Bulls, and would give some good development. His relationship with his parents would be good to build off of as well. The magic also seems quite awesome. Using Ki looks cool. Those companions also would be pretty awesome, thanks for the suggestions!

Well with those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter.
Kokabiel's assault!
Having rushed to the school, Sona's group had placed a barrier around the building and the field surrounding it. Sona's group contained as much as they could do, while Rias had gathered her group, and prepared to go into the school.
"This is to keep it to the minimum. It seems he isn't wasting time before Haruki-kun comes back."
Hearing Sona's words, Rias understood perfectly.
Isane wasn't surprised either, but she did wonder what was going on with the others.
"My servants and I will continue to place the barrier to reduce the damages. I want to minimise the damages as much as possible… It's hard to prevent having our school getting damaged. But it looks like we have to since it's Kokabiel who is moving."
"Thank you, Sona. We will do the rest from here."
"Rias. Our enemy is a monster with strength above ours. Though, have you informed your Onii-sama…?"
Rias shook her head.
"You also didn't call your Onee-sama, did you?"
"My Onee-sama is… no, I didn't inform her…"
"Wouldn't she come if you asked Kaichou?"
Isane asked, Sona cringed.
"Her love...it can be troubling. Besides, we have Haruki-kun on the way, I have every confidence he can finish off Kokabiel."
"Yes, I'm sure Haruki is on his way. Until then, my group will do what we can against him. If we can stall him and finish him off, then it would be the best. And if not, I am confident that we can keep Kokabiel from killing anyone here."
Koneko also knew that Haruki would be on his way, and until then she was going to do her best.
Rias then faced the others.
"Alright...this battle is going to be difficult. But, we have to do our best. While Haruki isn't here, we have to make sure that Kokabiel doesn't cause any problems, and do our best!"
[Yes!]
The groups cheered.
While Asia wasn't apart of the groups, she was chosen to go into the battlefield for her healing ability, and Koneko was Haruki's servant, and she was a strong asset, so adding her, and Asia to Rias, Akeno and Isane, with Yuuto not there currently, they would have to fight and fight until they could survive the fight.
Sona then placed a hand on Rias' shoulder, Rias looked down and then turned her head side to side.
"Rias, be safe."
Feeling the comforting hand of Sona's, Rias inclined her neck.
"...Yes Sona, I will do my best, you also."
Then they made their way through the gates of the school. On permission from Rias, Isane changed from a Pawn to a Queen by Promotion and gained stronger attributes. Akeno twiddled her fingers, hoping that Haruki would be able to come soon to stop this madness.
When they arrived on the sports field, they became speechless to see that Valper was stood there. A huge sphere of light was spreading out above him, and he held some Excalibur blades within the core of Excalibur.
Though Isane couldn't see that either Irina's or Xenovia's had been added so they presumed that Kokabiel hadn't got them. But it seemed the light also served another purpose, which was travelling down into the ground and caused it to have a large symbol across it. Larger than the entire field and school combined, it encompassed the entire area that was sealed off thanks to the efforts of Sona.
"What is this…?"
Isane spoke her doubt, with Valper smirking towards the young girl.
"I'm going to make the three Excalibur's into one."
"Valper. How much longer will it take for the Excalibur's to merge?"
Kokabiel who was above came floating down. The Fallen Angel wings couldn't be ignored, and the power that he had. Isane was sure that he was a strong Fallen Angel, but she had seen Haruki's power before, and while she didn't know the full extent, she believed that he was strong and could defeat Kokabiel.
For the moment however, it seemed that she would have to step up, and do her best.
"It won't even take 5 minutes, Kokabiel."
"Is that so? I will leave it to you." Kokabiel moved his eyes from Valper to Rias. "I hope your boyfriend shows up soon, because I've got a nasty surprise for him. Until then, can you entertain me even a little bit?"
"Kokabiel. While he might not be here, allow us to..."
Before she could finish, he casually made a spear of light that was so large that it was the size of the gym, that he blew away with the incredible power of his light spear. The wind and debris all scattered around the area, Kokabiel was yawning as if he found it boring.
"It will be entertaining if I could string up your corpses before he arrives."
Rias scowled while the others got ready to fight.
Meanwhile, Irina and Mittelt plus her Exorcists formed together got ready to fight. Irina was sure she'd be able to fight them with her Excalibur, but she also wasn't sure if she'd be able to fight off so many at the same time.
"We didn't have to fight, you know?"
Irina spoke up, she wished to avoid a conflict.
Though she realistically knew that she'd not be able to do that for long.
"We do, because that's the only way that I'm going to survive at all. You don't know what Kokabiel is truly capable of, you don't know what he is going to do, how he is going to execute his plans. And he is going to be coming after me if I don't do anything to you!"
From what it sounded like, Mittelt truly was in a bind and she didn't have any chance to do anything other than follow the orders of her superior.
"I...I see, I'm sorry about that. But I also don't want to be killed."
"That's fine, because you wont have a choice."
"Then I don't have a choice either."
Irina ran forward. Her katana came out, and she blocked the strike of another Exorcist coming for her. Using her speed, Irina pushed him back and then sliced across his torso before he could react, cutting him down as another Exorcist came from the right.
She skidded back, and then turned her sword into a longer ranged weapon that looked like a spear, causing it to pierce the enemies upper body, before she flicked her hand and sent the Exorcist back towards Mittelt who caught the body and then tossed it away.
"What the hell? Don't you care about these people?"
"I can sense the evilness within them, it gives me no pleasure to take these people down. However, I have to do my best for the Lord, and for myself."
Mittelt stomped her feet, as she moved her hands. She summoned a spear within her hand and then she aimed it for Irina, she responded by taking her sword, and rushing forward as a few Exorcists got in the way.
The swords that came for her, Irina was able to block the strikes, before sliding under them, and then she sliced them from behind, dropping them to the ground, before Mittelt fired off her spear for the young woman.
Irina went to take it down, when it suddenly split apart, and turned into several different smaller but deadly spears of light heading for her.
Irina gasped, as she saw a man aim a gun for her head.
Ducking quickly, the gun went off without seconds to spare, so she came up with a sharp kick, sending him flying backwards, as she caused her sword to form a shield. Thanks to Excalibur Mimic's ability to take any form Irina imagined, she was able to stop the attacks despite them being split apart.
Mittelt scowled, and redoubled her efforts.
Irina fought hard, and took down many Exorcists with her skills alone.
Mittelt also realized that one on one, she wouldn't win a fight against Irina.
However, more and more came, and it became increasingly difficult, with Mittelt adding to the difficulty of the situation.
Irina continued fighting, but as she did, Mittelt tricked her, and got within her guard.
"What?"
"Say goodnight!"
Just as Irina was going to be stabbed by Mittelt…
Haruki appeared, grabbed Mittelt's hand and brushed her off with a single flick of his hand, along with sending out a pulse of Holy Lightning which destroyed the remaining Exorcists within a single shot.
Irina panted, and looked towards Haruki, seeing that he was smiling towards her.
It brought her back to the day that they had met, and how he had saved her back then, seeing the same thing again she truly was grateful, and watched as Mittelt hit the ground hard, while Irina looked up towards Haruki.
"Haruki-kun...I knew you'd come when I needed you. Even back then you did, and now is no different."
"Of course, I'll always come and help you Irina-chan."
Irina lightly blushed at the kind tone that he had and how he was there with her.
Haruki also noticed the picture and shuddered at the sight of it.
"Irina-chan, leave this Fallen Angel to me, you go and support the others. My other peerage members are dealing with some other stuff around town, we'll be there soon."
"Haruki-kun...r-right, I'll go! Be careful!"
Irina ran away at high speeds.
But then she came running back, grabbed her picture, and then ran off once more.
Mittelt was then left with Haruki, and her eyes began to water.
"Please...Please don't kill me...I-I didn't have a choice!"
Haruki raised a brow as Mittelt began speaking about her life...
Back with Rias and the others, Kokabiel gave a mildly entertained look, and showed a cool smile on his face.
"Now. I will have you all fight my pet that I brought from hell."
Kokabiel clicked his fingers, underestimating the group. From a magical circle appearing on the ground, he summoned three Cerberus, the ones he kept from the others that Haruki and the others had already taken out, though Kokabiel wasn't currently aware of such a thing.
"…Cerberus! Ise, lets do this!"
Rias scowled at the sight, Isane thrusted her hand to the sky.
"Yes Buchou! Let's do it, Boosted Gear!"
[Boost!]
"Ise. This time, we will back you up."
"So do I give him the finishing blow by charging my power?"
Rias shook her head at the question.
"No. I will have you support us. You will be transferring your boosted power to us. By the way, Ise. Including your power up, how many times can you transfer your powers?"
"Right now with my current stamina, I can only transfer it...maybe five or six times."
"I see, so we can't waste it. Akeno!"
Akeno and Rias shot into the sky, as Cerberus directed a head towards them.
Unleashing a flame from the mouths, Akeno flew forward.
"While not near the level of my Otouto, I can also conjure ice!"
Waving out a hand, she unleashed a small blizzard that froze the flames in the air, as Rias flew over the frozen flames, and readied her hand with demonic power from her clans Power of Destruction, without breathing out a word, she unleashed a strong block of said demonic power.
However, the Cerberus' concentrated their flames upon the power of Rias, and clashed violently. Rias knew if it was one or two heads, her power would be enough, but all three added together showed a destructive potential like no other.
Koneko saw her chance, jumped up, and then got above the Cerberus, slamming down a Senjutsu filled punch that caused the flames of the Cerberus to cease, and then broke through the head to cause it to bleed profusely, as Rias' power came down towards the enemy, and left a large chunk missing in the right hand side of the Cerberus.
"Allow me to also get involved~"
Akeno unleashed her lightning, adding it to the wound inflicted by Rias' own attack, and ran her electricity all through the large Cerberus. Adding to the wound Rias gave it, and the impact damage Koneko gave it, Akeno's lightning was strong enough to finish it off within an instant, breaking through the body without a seconds worry.
Isane was in awe at seeing the trios combination, and silently cheered, while Kokabiel frowned.
"These girls are stronger than I had predicted, while these ones aren't my modified ones that I'm saving for that damn Haruki, these three managed to beat it with a combination attack...hmph, still aren't a match for me."
As he thought about it, one of the other Cerberus' jumped out, and went for Asia and Isane.
Isane got into a fighting stance, ready to fight the Cerberus, when Rias got before the, and summoned a barrier to protect them both from the flames the Cerberus had unleashed.
"Ise! Just use the boost to increase your powers!"
Isane did that as her power gained another Boost.
Just then however, as Rias blocked off the flames, the Cerberus was suddenly pinned down by what appeared to be a rope. Wrapping around the Cerberus' body, it even went towards the mouth of Cerberus and sealed it tightly shut, stopping the spewing of the flames.
"Time for your shot Cerberus-chan."
Irina appeared and said it while winking.
"Irina! You're safe!"
Isane let out joyfully, Irina nodded strongly as Xenovia came running up beside her.
"Yup, and I have my picture!"
A collective groan from Koneko, and the newly revealed Xenovia who came up with a strong upper slash as she jumped. The Cerberus' bound head didn't have a chance as Xenovia's blade cleaved through the Cerberus' body as the sword ran up, cutting deep within the body of Cerberus, before a head came off from Xenovia's attack, disappearing into dust from the release of Xenovia's blade.
"Irina, don't mention the picture which is over there."
Xenovia revealed as she pointed to the side of the school building.
It seemed the telling of the location was for the others...in case they had a chance to do something to the picture.
Irina huffed.
"It seems that you don't know true art Xenovia. We should finish off this naughty dog though."
"I was thinking the same about that picture."
Irina wasn't pleased about that, but she chose to ignore it, and then ran her blade into the torso of the Cerberus. Unleashing the incredible power of Excalibur Destruction, she blew a giant hole in the body of Cerberus, before Irina formed a katana with her blade, and finished off the beast with a few swings of her sword.
As Irina was celebrating, the last Cerberus came up, and charged for her.
Irina jumped back as Xenovia swung down her sword, releasing a holy wave from said blade which was sent forward strongly, the Cerberus combatted the attack with its own flames, creating a blast radius that threatened to sweep some of the people away up in it, if Koneko didn't jump towards it, and dispelled it with her Senjutsu.
Just then, Isane received another boost to her power, and judging from what she had seen, she believed that Rias or Akeno with her assistance would have enough power to win, so she told them so quickly.
"Buchou! Akeno-san! I have got enough power to take down Cerberus!"
Hearing that, Rias and Akeno came down towards Isane.
"Ise, do you think that you could transfer the power to both of us at the same time?"
Isane wasn't sure, so she spoke to the Dragon that resided within her arm, Ddraig. Thanks to Haruki helping out, she had spoken to the Dragon a few times, so she was used to it by now.
[Yeah. If it's just two at the same time then it's possible. Except that I can only transfer 70 to 80 percent of the boosted power.]
Isane then conveyed the message to Rias and Akeno who both nodded in agreement.
"I think that would be enough."
"Yes. We can do it."
Isane agreed and then placed her hands on Rias shoulder, and Akeno's as well.
"Let's do it, Boosted Gear!"
[Transfer!]
An enormous amount of power went to Buchou and Akeno-san through Isane's body. They instantly gained an enormous amount of demonic power.
"…We can do this."
"Yes, we can."
Akeno shot her fingers towards the Cerberus, and gained a good deal of power.
She was ready to shoot it off, when the Cerberus could see that power, and attempted to escape from the spot it was in...
Countless swords however pierced through the Cerberus' limbs. The swords were coming out from the ground, and appearing on the ground nearby Isane was Yuuto himself, his blade stuck into the ground and showed his prowess.
"Fufu, it seems that you've come Yuuto-kun, thank you."
Akeno's power pierced through the Cerberus' body. Even alone, it seemed Akeno's power was more than enough to kill off the Cerberus, and turned it into nothingness, while Rias turned her own powered up attack towards Kokabiel.
"Take this! Kokabiel!"
Rias released a mass of Power of Destruction from her hands and headed straight for Kokabiel. Akeno thought that Rias' attack was rather strong, and she knew that even Kokabiel could be having a bit of trouble from that attack.
Kokabiel stretched out his hand, and caused light to erupt from his hand, combatting the power. He saw it posed a threat, even Rias realized it, so she fired off multiple spheres to add to the power that she was naturally releasing at the same time.
Kokabiel was taken by surprise by Rias' sudden attack, and unleashed some more of his power. Blasting through the spheres Rias created with large spears of light, he was shocked to see that Rias' power actually mutually destroyed the light spears that weren't being held back by much at all, while Rias' main attack was beginning to dig into his hand.
"While he's stunned, lets go!"
Akeno flew up high, and unleashed a mass of lightning for Kokabiel who spread out his wings, forming a wall before him. But the wings received little damage from Akeno's attack.
Growling, Kokabiel was annoyed that Rias was able to give him this much trouble as he thrust his hand upwards, and shot Rias' attack up as well. The barrier around them broke through with Rias' strong attack, Rias mentally apologized to Sona for that.
"I see. Rias Gremory's power would grow this much because of the power of Sekiryutei. Interesting. This is very interesting indeed. Kukuku."
"…It's complete."
Valper spoke up, with Yuuto noticing him, and gave a hard glare.
"The three Excalibur's are going to become one. It is too bad that I couldn't have both of those Exorcists Excalibur's. I guess in the end, Mittelt truly was worthless and couldn't do anything to assist me."
As he spoke, the combined Excalibur was completed, and fell into the hands of Valper who gave an overly excited expression on his face, showing that he truly was rather happy to see Excalibur in this form.
Though his eyes kept going towards Irina and Xenovia, both of them held their Excalibur's tightly and didn't give it up either.
"Because of the light created by the Excalibur when it turned into one, the spell on the ground is also complete. This town will collapse within 20 minutes. The only way to dispel it is by beating Kokabiel."
Hearing that, the others became shocked. Twenty minutes, and they'd have their town destroyed. Koneko wondered what was keeping Haruki….
Meanwhile, within the forest, sitting down, Haruki watched as Mittelt paced up and down, telling her life story.
"Then when I was in school, geez I was the victim of a group! They always made it a thing to mention my own bust size, questioning my Fallen Angel status due to Fallen Angels having usually large boobs! I'm still developing into a beautiful woman you know?!"
"..."
Haruki didn't say anything, his hand resting on his face as he leaned against a tree.
Mittelt continued as she paced back and forth.
"My life, has been a spiral of dark emotions, everyone bullied me and then when I gained friends, they left me because of my personality apparently! I mean, I'm good at conversation, right?!"
"Yeah..."
Mittelt took that as a good sign and continued.
"Those days, they were endless, followed by the darkest of nights..."
Haruki hugged his knees as he stared at the young woman.
"You've had it hard..."
Haruki tried to speak, Mittelt took over before he could finish.
"Hard doesn't describe it! When I finally landed a job with Azazel-sama, I was over the moon! I even thought about being so wonderful! But...my dreams were crushed and my heart was left in tattered...then there was my first boyfriend. I was going to be with my boyfriend who I loved...but, that love was lost, and I ended up feeling down about myself."
"Losing love isn't easy..."
"Yeah...Kokabiel-sama though, that man has been horrible to me. He calls me shield, you know? He says I'm a sacrifice...because I'm not worth it..."
Mittelt continued, while Haruki kept his senses on the others, ready to react if he needed too.
Back with the others, Kokabiel squared off against the Devils, and Exorcists together,
"Freed!"
Responding to his name being called, Freed appeared out of the shadows, and went towards him.
"What's up, Boss?"
"Use the Excalibur Valper has created. It shall be the last entertainment."
"Yeah yeah. Geez. My Boss sure uses people recklessly. But but! It's like I'm so honoured to use the Excalibur-chan that has become super wonderful!"
Freed took the Excalibur, while Xenovia approached Yuuto.
"Rias Gremory's Knight. If the cooperation is still valid, let us destroy that Excalibur together."
"Is it okay?"
Xenovia laughed fearlessly at Yuuto's words.
"At worst, it won't be a problem if I collect the fragment of the Excalibur that is acting as the core of it. Since Freed is wielding it, that is a Holy Sword but it isn't a Holy Sword. Even if it's a Holy Sword, it's the same as any other weapon. It changes depending on the person using it. That is a sword of heresy."
As she said it, Valper began laughing to Yuuto's anger.
"Valper Galilei. I am a survivor of the Holy Sword Project. No. I am the one who was killed by you to be more precise. I have continued living by being reincarnated into a Devil."
Valper showed an uncaring manner towards Yuuto.
"Hou. The survivor of that project. This is such a misfortune. To meet you in a far east country like this. I feel fate. Fufufu." How he laughed disgusted those around, fuelling the flames of anger within Yuuto. "You see. I like Holy Swords. I like them so much that they come out in my dreams. I held admiration for those who can wield it because I couldn't. That feeling became so powerful that I started an experiment to create those who can use them. Then it was complete."
"Complete? You disposed of us after finding us to be a failure."
Xenovia upon hearing what he was saying, understood what was going on, the same for Irina.
"I realized that there was an essential factor needed to wield Holy Swords. So I used the numerical value of the factors to investigate its capability. Most of the test subjects had the elements but they didn't have the numerical value needed to wield the Excalibur. Then I reached a conclusion. Is there a way to take out the elements and gather them?"
"I see. I understand now. The thing that is put inside the Holy Sword wielders when they received a blessing is…"
Irina shook her head as tears formed in her eyes.
"All this time...it was those kids that were...killed for people to wield Holy Swords..."
"That's right Holy Sword wielder girl. We take out the holy elements from those who have them and crystallize them. Just like this."
Valper took out an orb that was giving out light. It was a shiny orb.
Both Irina and Xenovia looked at the orb, while Asia looked truly sad.
"With this, the research on Holy Sword wielders improved. Even so, those fools from the Church banished me for heresy and took away my reports on the research. By looking at you, I see that the project was succeeded by someone. That Michael. He made me look like a criminal and this is the result? Well it's that Angel we are talking about. Even if he takes the elements out from the test subjects, he wouldn't go as far as to kill them. That part only would make him more human than me. Kukukuku."
Valper laughed in a manner that showed superiority, something that only angered those that were around.
"…You killed my comrades and took out the elements needed to wield the Holy Swords?"
"That's right. This orb is from back then. I have used three of them on Freed though. This is the last one."
"Hyahahahaha! Other guys besides me died because their bodies couldn't synchronize with the elements! Hmmmmm. If I think like that, that makes me special."
As Freed laughed it out, Isane looked at the man with disdain.
"…Valper Galilei. How many lives have you sacrificed for your greed and experiments…"
It was clear for most that Yuuto was truly angry, and it made sense to everyone.
Valper was a man that was disgusting.
"Hm. If you say that, then I will give this orb to you. My research has reached the stage where it is possible to mass produce them in the right environment. First of all, I will destroy this town with Kokabiel. Next I will gather the legendary Holy Swords stored around the world. Then I will mass produce Holy Sword wielders and start a war against Michael and the Vatican with the combined Excalibur's. I'm going to show the result of my research to those foolish Angels and their followers who have convicted me."
Valper threw away the orb as if he had lost interest in it. It rolled on the ground and went to Yuuto's foot. Yuuto leaned down silently and picked it up. He patted the orb sadly, lovingly, and dearly.
"…Everyone…"
As Yuuto shed tears, which fell onto the orb, a shallow light began glowing from aid orb. The field soon became covered in bright white lights, and the lights formed human shapes. Small, tall, and in the middle size of a normal child to young teenager, all of the lights formed until they revealed the faces of the children, boys and girls each.
"The various powers that are present on this battlefield made the spirits within the orbs appear."
Akeno said it while the others stared on.
Each had difficult feelings as they stared at the children's faces.
Back with Mittelt, and Haruki, a little before the ghost children appeared, he looked defeated mentally as Mittelt continued her life story. It seemed to be helping her so he didn't know if he should stop it or not. Ravel, Vali and Kuroka came along, and was surprised to see Mittelt ranting and raving.
They listened to Mittelt who continued on.
"Kokabiel-sama, I got dragged in due to his words that made me believe that I would be fine. But in the end, all I was, was a sacrifice. I got scared that's all I'd ever be, and I believed that I was as well. So, I did what he needed of me, even if he laughed at me, and made fun of my breasts."
"I see..."
Mittelt continued however.
"I had a dream to be a singer, but then they were crushed. Crushed by the expectations of others..."
Haruki thrust his head back, and then placed his hand out.
"Okay, can I just say something?"
Mittelt waved her hand.
"Proceed."
"Alright...it's clear you've had a hard life, and...you need to vent your feelings. We all get that, but right now...isn't a good time."
"B-But we were making progress together!"
"Yeah, but I have to go and kill Kokabiel. Can we put this on hold?"
"Sure! Seeing his death...wa-wait, are you going to take me out?!"
Haruki exhaled slowly, folding his arms as he moved closer.
"No, I'm not going to kill you. It's clear you're a victim of many things...so, follow me now and we'll see what happens with Azazel. I promise to do what I can, but you've got to promise to try and change. Last chance Mittelt."
Mittelt cried tears of happiness.
She never believed she'd be able to have another chance.
"Thank you so much! I haven't ever been given a chance before! Now it is time for me, Fallen Angel Mittelt, to shine like a bright star!"
Haruki glanced at the others, who placed a hand to their forehead.
Haruki turned back to the cheering Mittelt, wondering what was going to happen next.
Back on the battlefield with Kokabiel, Haruki's group arrived just in time to see the lights and the children all around Yuuto. Ravel looked on in doubt, while Haruki lightly smiled.
"The former comrades he had, have come back to say their final goodbyes, and to give hope the young man one last time."
"It's amazing to see all of them come alive. The children of the past...all wish to be there for their friend even now..."
Ravel began tearing up, so Haruki lightly wrapped a single arm around her.
"Ooh Ravel-chan, you are a girl that feels very deeply. It's a quality I truly love about you."
"E-Even if you say that, you also are feeling something similar to me."
Haruki didn't refute it, he was glad that Yuuto was able to finally see the people that he cared about appearing once more.
Yuuto looked at the faces of the young children.
"Everyone! I-I!"
Seeing his former comrades again was very emotional for him.
But with this chance, he was going to finally take it and speak to them a final time.
"…I have always…always thought about it. Was it all right that I was the only one that survived… There were those who had more dreams than me. There were those who wanted to live more than me. Is it all right that I am the only one to have a peaceful life…"
A boy spirit moved his lips, though he didn't make a sound that most could hear.
Kuroka pulled Haruki's shirt.
"What did he say?"
"From what I could read of his lips, he said something like "Don't worry about us anymore, you're alive at least." so that's how they feel. It is nice that he finally gets this kind of closure."
Kuroka nodded, she thought it was nice as well.
Then the young boys and girls began moving their lips in time with one another's, and a song came out.
"…The sacred song."
Asia mumbled, while Ravel turned her head sideways.
"The sacred song...so, even in their deaths, they found comfort from a song like that..."
"I've never heard it before, it isn't so bad."
Vali admitted, while Mittelt attempted to hug her, only for Vali to push her back.
"Seriously, this is so sad..."
"But, it is also a good thing, because they can rest in peace."
Ravel murmured as she hugged Haruki tightly.
"Why isn't it hurting us? The song I mean."
Vali wondered, Haruki looked at the various powers around.
"It's only a guess, but because of how many unique powers are here...or maybe because they aren't alive. Whatever the reason, it only brings warmth to us."
They watched as they sung, and together with Yuuto in the centre, a bright light was beginning to shine between them.
[We were no good alone.]
[We didn't have enough elements to wield the holy swords. But.]
[It will be okay if we are together.]
[You have to accept the Holy Sword.]
[It's not scary.]
[Even if God is watching.]
[Our hearts are always…]

The lights of the children's forms all rushed towards Yuuto, surrounding him and his blade.
Haruki looked down at the blade, and then smirked.
"Ooh my, so he's awakened it."
"Awakened what?"
Mittelt asked, Ravel giggled.
"It's called, Balance Breaker."
As she said it, the bright flashing lights all went away, and left Yuuto with a single sword that had a mixture of Holy and Demonic energies radiating off of it. Haruki could feel the mixed converging powers.
"Can you feel that Vali-chan?"
"Yeah, a convergence of Holy and Demonic. But what does that mean?"
"That's a good question. He did something that shouldn't have ever happened."
"Mixing Holy and Demonic nyaa...could it mean that there's something happening that even we don't know of?"
Haruki watched on with keen eyes as the young blonde haired man took an aggressive step towards Valper who glared at the blade hard.
"Valper Galilei. As long as I don't kill you, there will be those who would suffer the same fate as us."
"Hmph. It's been said for a long time that research always comes with sacrifices. Haven't you realized that yet?"
Yuuto growled…
But then his comrades began speaking up.
"Kibaaaaaaaa! Cut down both Freed and Excalibur! Don't waste their feelings and spirit!"
Isane yelled out
"Yuuto! Do it! You have to finish this yourself! Surpass Excalibur!"
"Yuuto-kun! I believe in you!"
Both Rias, and Akeno showed their support while Koneko tightened her hands.
"Tear it to pieces."
"Geez Shirone's out for blood nyaa."
Kuroka giggled, Ravel smiled as she quietly spoke "Make your friends, former and current, proud..." Haruki nodded in agreement.
"Please do your best!"
Asia called, with Irina showing a bright smile.
"Kiba-kun, show everyone your amazing side! Maybe I'll ask that nice man to do a painting of you as well!"
Yuuto shuddered, he didn't want the same person who did the supposed painting of Haruki to do one of him either, but he was also happy at the same time Irina was also supporting him that it moved him to tears.
Something that Freed laughed about.
"Hahaha! Why are you crying? You were singing with joy with the ghost-chan. You know I hate that song. Just listening to it makes the hair on my skin crawl! I'm going to cut you into pieces and calm myself! With this ultimate Excalibur that has merged three of them!"
Yuuto looked towards Freed.
He then looked at his formed sword.
"Balance Breaker, Sword of Betrayer. You shall receive the power of this sword that has both the power of Holy and Demonic powers with your own body."
Yuuto didn't waste time and shot for the young priest.
Freed tried to grasp his movement with his eyes, but Yuuto got out of his sight by doing a few feints.
However, Freed was sharp in his skills and was able to block Yuuto's strikes. Even then, the holy aura of the combined Excalibur of Freed's.
"That sword surpasses the originator of Holy Swords!?"
Freed was stunned and didn't know what he was supposed to do.
"If that was the true Excalibur, then I could not have won against it. But that Excalibur cannot cut the feelings of me and my comrades!"
Freed clicked his tongue, and stepped back after he pushed Yuuto back.
He then activated the powers of Rapidly, and crossed the distance with Yuuto. However, Yuuto was more focused now, so every swing of his blade wasn't getting through Yuuto was able to parry each and every attack with his newly released Balance Breaker, which irked Freed more than he thought possible.
"Why!? Why isn't it hitting!? You are supposed to be the unrivalled Holy Sword-sama, aren't you!?" Freed had an expression was filled with both enjoyment and impatience. "Then I have to add this as well!"
The tip of the Holy Sword disappeared, accessing the Excalibur Transparency ability, but Yuuto saw how he moved his hands and therefore allowed him to react in time to the area the blade would be. Though it made it harder for him, Yuuto's ability and mind came into play and he managed to parry the blade of Freed's own.
"Your blade wont get through, even if it is invisible, you haven't changed anything about how you move. I'll keep parrying you."
Freed narrowed his eyes and made a shocked face.
Not one to be outdone, he pulls out his gun and aims it for Yuuto's face.
Moving his blade to intercept the shot, Freed then uses his Excalibur Rapidly to move his hand around, increasing the speed to try and out speed Yuuto so he could pull the trigger, all the while using his blade to strike at Yuuto again and again.
Yuuto could see that Freed was getting desperate, yet at the same time he was beginning to feel the pressure.
Yuuto who was being assaulted from different locations, Freed thought that he'd be able to beat him and get off a strong shot, when suddenly a sword came up, and sliced through the gun before the bullet was able to be released.
Freed gasped, as Irina swung out for him, forcing him backwards.
"You troublesome bitch!"
"That's quite rude! You shouldn't be mean!"
Freed scowled deeper while Xenovia took a step forward. With her Excalibur Destruction in one hand, she held out her right hand in the air.
"Saint Peter. Saint Basil the Great. Saint Denis. Holy-mother Mary. Please hear my voice."
As she chanted, the space in front of her distorted, and she then placed her hand inside.
Pulling out was a magnificent blade that was blue and gold.
"In the names of the saints whom reside within this blade, I will release it. Durandal!"
Swinging it out, the holy aura leaked from the blade. It was strong and wild, it could be felt by those around to be dangerous. The Devils such as Isane and the others weren't thrilled about seeing the blade in action.
"Durandal's looking as dangerous as ever. So she truly is the current wielder huh, I wonder how Strada-san feels about that."
Haruki commented, while Valper and even Kokabiel was shocked.
"Durandal!?"
"You were not the wielder of the Excalibur!?"
"Wrong. I was originally the wielder of Durandal. I was also chosen as the holder of the Excalibur. That's all."
Xenovia made a stance with both blades. Valper even became shocked at the sight, and angrily pointed at her.
"Absurd! According to my research, we haven't reached the stage where someone can wield Durandal!?"
"Of course. Even in the Vatican, they haven't made someone who can wield Durandal artificially."
"Then why!?"
"Unlike those artificial Holy Sword wielders, I'm a natural born wielder."
Valper became speechless at her words.
Even Kokabiel did look shocked.
"Durandal is a sword that ravages beyond what people can imagine. It cuts anything it touches. It doesn't even listen to me most of the time. That's why I have to keep it in another dimension, otherwise it would be dangerous. Even I, the holder, has a hard time with it. Now, Freed Sellzen. Thanks to you, we can have the decisive battle between Excalibur and Durandal."
Durandal's aura was strong, stronger than any of the other swords around. Even the swords of Yuuto was paling compared to the level of power that she would be using.
"Is that even allowed!? You shitty bitch! I don't need any of that for this setting!"
Freed yelled at her, and charged at her. Using the ability of Nightmare, he created illusions while also using the invisibility aspect of the sword to try and make her predict where he was going to come from, which one he was going to be…
At least that was his intention.
Xenovia grabbed both of her swords, and then crossed them above her head, before she swung them down. The area around Xenovia was crumbled with the powers of Durandal and Excalibur Destruction.
Even Freed couldn't predict what was going to happen, and he tried to block with his Excalibur. But the durability of the sword wasn't enough, and it ended up breaking in half from the tip down to the middle of the blade as he was blown away by the incredible shockwave of the power.
Irina also noticed that from the side, some holy aura went towards her picture, her eyes widening as she saw it being eclipsed by the power.
"XENOVIA! MY PICTURE! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Xenovia looked and murmured "Oops..." despite saying that with true regret she was secretly glad it was gone...at least she thought it was gone.
Koneko murmured "Thank you..." as she was happy the picture was finally gone.
"Are you serious!? The legendary Excalibur-chan is shattered into pieces!? This is really horrible!"
Yuuto saw his chance, rushing forward as he came in from the right hand side. With his sword aimed for Freed, the blade came down and cleaved through the remnants of the Excalibur blade, and dropped it to the ground in shattered pieces.
Followed by that, Freed also received a vertical slice across his upper body.
"Did you see it? Our powers have surpassed Excalibur."
Yuuto breathed a sigh of relief.
Finally, after all of the time...
Valper on the other hand ws baffled by what he had witnessed. He couldn't believe what was happening.
"Ho-Holy Demonic Sword…? Impossible… The polar opposite of two things cannot merge…"
Yuuto remembered Valper, and turned his blade towards him.
"Valper Galilei. Prepare yourself."
"…I see! I understand now! Holy and Demonic. If the beings that represent the two become unbalanced! Then not only did the Maou die, but so did…"
Kokabiel went to kill Valper before he could reveal something…
But nearing the man, the blade of light simply shattered.
Even Kokabiel was surprised to see what was going on from that.
"What the hell?"
Kokabiel looked around, his eyes trying to find the source.
Just then, flying down on wings of darkness, Haruki appeared together with Ravel, Kuroka, Vali and Mittelt. Haruki's eyes went towards Kokabiel who showed a nervous expression on his face, at the same time it seemed that he looked ready to kill.
"Yuuto-kun, I thought that it would be right that you was the one that killed Valper there."
Yuuto looked on, now knowing it was Haruki who stopped Kokabiel from doing the deed.
Yuuto then turned his blade onto the worried Valper.
"He is right...I am going to end you. For all of the people you've hurt, for all of the things you have gotten away with and get to sleep at night. For those that had a chance of living great lives which you stole away...I wont let you!"
Valper became panicked and turned to Kokabiel.
"Kokabiel-sama! Help me! I helped you! You have to help me now!"
Kokabiel glared at Valper.
"What gave you the impression that I ever cared about a human like you?"
"B-But, we worked together!"
Kokabiel stared defiantly at him.
He didn't show a care in the world.
Valper's face dropped considerably.
Even in the face of danger with Haruki and Vali around, Kokabiel wouldn't lower himself to work with what he thought was an inferior being in the case of Valper.
Turning his back on Valper, the elderly man faced Yuuto who began running at him.
Valper was enraged, and pointed his hands towards Yuuto.
Summoning some magic he had taught himself, he shot off some magical attributes in the form of fire, wind and lightning, hoping they'd be enough to pause Yuuto so he could attempt to make an escape.
But the powers were stopped as Yuuto swung out his sword. The power of Valper wasn't enough to break through Yuuto's sword, and he managed to get in close.
Gasping, the man pulled back, and formed a barrier before him.
"Valper...I will not hold back!"
Yuuto poised his sword at the area of the barrier, and then pierced it.
Valper watched as his barrier shattered before his eyes.
He couldn't believe it, he didn't want to believe that this was his end.
Futilely, he tried to avoid the attack, but Yuuto wouldn't let him escape, creating a wall of swords behind Valper, blocking off the man's escape path.
"Y-You can't do this to me!"
Valper watched on with horror as Yuuto raised his blade.
Freed, who had been cut down previously, awoke to see Valper in danger.
While he didn't much care, he thought that now would be the best opportunity to enact his revenge against the Yuuto, and the others.
While Yuuto approached him, Freed crawled across the ground, hoping that no one would notice him. Though Haruki did and went to move, he saw Isane doing it instead.
By the time that Yuuto got ready to finish off Valper, Freed pulled out a light sword, and aimed it for the unsuspecting Yuuto…
"No!"
Suddenly, Isane grabbed his wrist, and tossed his blade of light to the side.
Freed looked towards her angrily.
"Always got one last trick up your sleeve, haven't you Freed?"
Freed scowled and tried to attack Isane, but she had come far, and she sent him flying with a sharp kick to his torso, hitting the ground violently.
"You bitch! How dare you do this to me?!"
"You really are pathetic Freed."
Freed glared angrily up at Isane who glared at him hard.
"Me? Pathetic? You turned into a Devil!"
"But, you're the real evil one, aren't you? You tried to attack my parents, and me, you caused a lot of damage to others..."
"Ise-chan, he's the cause of some problems for you, you have his life in your hands. Don't worry, he's a dead or alive order, so what do you want to do?"
Haruki called out, Isane looked at Freed with disdain.
All she could see was a hate filled person.
Seeing him now...she couldn't even stand looking at him.
"He attacked my parents...he attacked me...and attacked my comrades who I care for...so I can't stand looking at him anymore...Haruki-kun, could you...today's been...difficult..."
Seeing the struggle in her eyes, Haruki nodded, and stepped forward, extending his hand out.
"I understand Ise-chan."
Freed panicked, looking up at Haruki's cold eyes.
"What? Not going to offer me a last request?"
"How many times have you done that?"
Haruki shot back, Freed laughed.
"Who cares, you're all disgusting anyway!"
Haruki shook his head.
"Go to Hell."
With those final words, Haruki unleashed a devastating wave of Holy Lightning which overcame the young man's body, erasing Freed out of existence.
Valper lost all hope, as he saw Yuuto's sword coming up to him.
"W-Wait, boy! I could give you...anything you want! You don't have to do this!"
"Valper...you took everything away from me, so I'll return that favour."
Without even being able to make a sound, the blade of Yuuto's pierced through his heart.
Valper couldn't even breathe a single breath before the light left his eyes.
Dying as a human...Yuuto thought it was fitting that he ended it as Valper looked shocked.
Once he was deceased, Kokabiel's eyes shot for Haruki, who kept an eye right on Kokabiel.
Feeling only a single eye on him was intimidating enough, so when Haruki fully looked at him with both eyes, he felt a sinking feeling deep inside, it felt as if his body was growing colder and colder, without any actual ice being released.
"Kokabiel, you are remarkable, causing so much trouble, and even teaming up with Valper huh."
Kokabiel growled as Haruki walked closer.
The others were relieved that he was there, since they weren't sure how to defeat Kokabiel currently.
"Do your job shield and come here now!"
Mittelt showed a strong heart as she replied.
"No! I am not your shield!"
"Tch, you always were useless, even now you can't even be a good sacrifice for me and die normally, can you?"
Kokabiel scowled at the young woman, before seeing Haruki moving forward more and more.
His eyes displayed a desire to have fun, and to also inflict pain onto Kokabiel who had toyed with many before.
"Kukuku, you're looking so worried Kokabiel. The desire to make sure you can't hurt anyone again is building up inside of me, my power is wanting to blast into you again and again until you perish from the world~"
As she saw Haruki saying those words, Akeno smacked her lips together, she always enjoyed seeing Haruki being as he was.
Kokabiel took a step back.
The rage inside wasn't something that he could quell.
He also knew that Haruki was strong, and that he'd have to be prepared to fight this man off.
"You bastard, I've been preparing for you!"
"That's good, I wouldn't want this to end quickly."
Responding to Kokabiel's yell, Haruki showed a sadistic smile on his face, while Kokabiel took out a light blade. The blade of light grew larger, and larger until it dwarfed the school building. The power radiating from it showed how strong he was compared to most of them around.
Kuroka stretched her arms above her head while Vali folded her arms, while the rest watched as Kokabiel turned his power onto Haruki, launching the massive spear of light.
Haruki watched as it came towards him at a high speed.
He had to admit that it was a pretty strong spear that came for him, and as it was going to pierce him, Haruki grabbed the blade with a single hand, stopping it in place to the shock of Kokabiel, who watched as Haruki squeezed his hand.
Unleashing his Holy Lightning across the spear, it shattered into several pieces of broken light which scattered into the air.
"Don't fuck around half breed of Baraqiel!"
Kokabiel yelled defiantly, while Haruki showed a sadistic smile on his face.
Akeno lowered her face when her Father's name was mentioned.
"I might be a half breed, but you're a dying breed."
Kokabiel made sharp eyes, and extended his palms.
Creating a mass of light, Kokabiel's hands shook ever so slightly.
"Fufu, what's wrong Kokabiel? Are you scared right now?"
Kokabiel showed a hate filled expression on his face.
"As if I'd be afraid of you! I've got plans, don't you remember?"
"Best show them Kokabiel-kun~"
The young man placed his hand out that had Holy Lightning gathered, before he caught the light Kokabiel shot off, and swung it arm upwards, shooting off the strong power into the air, with Holy Lightning wrapped around it, crumbling the power down until it was nothing.
That only added to the despair that Kokabiel was feeling.
As Haruki hadn't even used his Sacred Gear yet.
"As if you know anything of me anyway half breed! Maybe I'll take your Sacred Gear for myself! Would it be alright if I ended up doing that?"
"Go ahead."
Showing a face full of rage, Kokabiel charged Haruki, his hands filled with light. Coming up close and personal, he came at Haruki from the right, which he deflected with a wave of his hand, the pressure of the attack destroyed a good portion of the ground around them.
Kokabiel growled, and then thrusted his other hand for Haruki's face, who ducked out of the way, before slamming his foot deep into Kokabiel's torso, the impact of the attack was so fast even Yuuto hadn't seen it coming, and only Vali truly could see the speed of the impact.
"Gwaaah!"
Kokabiel coughed up blood, as he retreated back, swinging out his hands and created magical circles on the ground. The circles were a sealing spell that he attempted to bind Haruki with, only for Haruki to increase his power, and break through the seal within moments, shocking Kokabiel.
"Sealing magic can be useful, but if your opponent knows the basics of sealing magic, and knows the weak points of it, then they're able to break through. Plus, being the Queen of a Maou, you have to always be prepared."
Isane silently cheered as she saw that happening.
Kokabiel looked worried about what was to come.
"You think you've gotten me? I've only just begun!"
Kokabiel thrust his hand up to the air, and a massive magical circle appeared on the ground.
Spreading across the ground, to the point that it filled the barrier.
Kokabiel laughed as Haruki simply stared at him.
Compared to Kokabiel who was brave and bold, Haruki was more sadistic in his looks, and expressed joy at seeing how Kokabiel believed he was going to have the power to beat him back.
"Fuhahaha! Now behold my Cerberus'! You wont be able to take them and me all alone!"
The Fallen Angel laughed happily, believing that he had the upper hand…
But nothing came.
The others looked around, not sure what was going on.
"Eh...where are the Cerberus'?"
Irina mused, while Xenovia looked towards Haruki.
Without conveying words, it showed her that she believed she understood what was going on.
Rias also looked to Haruki, seeing how relatively calm he was, so she understood that he had already taken care of it beforehand.
Kokabiel himself had a notable dip in his face when seeing nothing happening.
"I said, the Cerberus' will come and together we will finish you off!"
Declaring that boldly, he caused the circle to glow brightly.
But like before, nothing came of it.
To the point that Kokabiel was questioning what was going on.
"What's happened? My Cerberus' aren't heeding my call. They'd only do that if..."
"We already wiped out the Cerberus' back at your little hideout."
Despair erupted over Kokabiel's face.
"Y-You couldn't have!"
"But, we did. You don't have any back up now, Kokabiel."
Kokabiel yelled "LIES!" and charged for Haruki once more.
Turning his feathers into steel like projectiles, he shot them off in a huge volley towards Haruki. Each of them could pierce through solid flesh easily enough.
So when seeing Haruki running up, and dodging the strikes with fast movements, Kokabiel angrily wouldn't accept it, and added his own spears of light into the attacks, sending both feathers and light spears for Haruki at the same time.
"Fueee, look at all of those powers coming for me. You are trying hard, aren't you Kokabiel?"
"You will die you little bastard!"
Kokabiel declared.
However, Haruki waved a finger, and created a mass of Holy Lightning before him. Concentrating more and more, summoning the mass of power in such a quick time, became a shield for him as the attacks Kokabiel was sending off simply vanished in the incredible waves of power being shown.
Haruki, with his fully powered Holy Lightning aimed it for Kokabiel, showed a sadistic smile.
"Can you dodge this? Or are you going to take it head on?"
Haruki's words were filled with a mixture of having sadistic fun with his opponent and seriousness at the same time.
Kokabiel panted, and formed a large shield of light before him.
The light spread out, and encompassed his body before Haruki shot off his power.
Kokabiel's defensive barrier clashed together with the incredible Holy Lightning.
Kokabiel saw the ground being torn asunder, the same for Rias who looked back towards Haruki.
"Ufufu, you are pushing me back Kokabiel-kun! Lets turn it up even more!"
Releasing more of his power, the area around Haruki was being destroyed while the young man had an excited smile on his face, Akeno also was grinning, she loved seeing her brother being like this.
"My barrier!"
The barrier of Kokabiel's shattered as Haruki's attack grew stronger.
Kokabiel tried to escape with his wings, but the mass of power destroyed two wings of Kokabiel's. Haruki watched as he came flying down to the ground with the after shock of Haruki's attack.
He looked to where his wings were, seeing them now being bloody messes that didn't resemble wings anymore.
"M-My wings?! Y-You blew off two of my wings!"
Kokabiel pulled himself off of the floor, and turned his wings sharp once more.
He also gathered light within his hands, and took aim for Haruki's body.
"Fighting you is thrilling!"
Haruki watched as Kokabiel approach him. Crossing the distance at a fast pace, he came towards the right with several shots of his power released at close range, Haruki responded with releasing his Holy Lightning and crushed the power that Kokabiel had.
Rather than be deterred, Kokabiel turned his wings onto Haruki, releasing the feathers that he had, and controlled them via his mind.
"The way you fight shows me things about you. I can see how evil you truly are, Kokabiel-kun..."
Hearing the scary tone that he had, accompanied with the smile on Haruki's face, the Fallen Angel felt worried as a result.
However, he wouldn't be deterred, and channeled his power through the detached feathers.
"You think you've got me?! I wont be beaten by you now! I am the superior Fallen Angel, I wont be beaten by one that was only half, and then fell to become a Devil!"
As if the feathers were swords, they came down towards Haruki, attempting to pierce him threw, only for Haruki to form his own spears of Holy Lightning around him, clashing with the feathery blades of Kokabiel's.
Using the power he had, Haruki's weapons pierced, and then shocked the feathers out of existence.
"I became a Devil of my own accord. You're the one that fell."
"You know nothing of me or my power!"
Kokabiel also made a sword of light, intending to pierce Haruki through the stomach as he formed it while placing his hand close by the young man's stomach.
Haruki blew himself up into the air, avoiding being pierced, and then twirled around, slamming his foot deep into the man's face, breaking Kokabiel's nose with a kick, the force of the kick also pressed Kokabiel backwards, digging his feet into the earth, but to his credit managed to stay on his feet, albeit with a bleeding nose, and mouth.
Panting, Kokabiel looked at the young man before him.
He thought about the best way to go about it…
Then Kokabiel smirked, coming up with an idea.
"It's funny, seeing that even after losing the masters you serve, you Devils and followers of God can still fight, huh!"
"The only Master I have is Sera-tan, and she's not the Master all of the time."
At his suggestive words, Isane grinned ear to ear.
Kokabiel blinked, but then scowled.
"You aren't even bothered about what information I have?"
"Not really."
Kokabiel started laughing aloud as if he found it truly amusing.
"Fuhaha, fuhahahahahahahahahaha! That's right! I suspected you'd say that! But I'll say it anyway because even you will be shocked!"
"Get on with it then."
Haruki sighed, wanting to finish this quickly.
Kokabiel felt take aback by his sudden words.
"Then I will tell you. In the war between the three sides, not only did the Four Great Maou's die, but so did God."
When he said it, most became shocked.
Particularly Irina, Xenovia and Asia.
"W-What did you say? I-It can't be!"
Irina denied its very existence.
But Kokabiel simply smirked.
"It's normal for you guys to not know about it. Who can say that God has died? Humans are an incomplete bunch. Without God, they cannot control their hearts and obey the laws, you know? Even us, the Fallen Angels, and Devils couldn't tell this to those below us. You won't know where the information about God will be leaked from. Even among the three-powers, only the people at the top and certain people know about it. Though it seems Valper noticed it earlier."
"…God didn't exist any more? No…that couldn't be… It was impossible… Then what did we believe in while living in that institute…?"
A little away's from Haruki, Yuuto spoke up.
Haruki himself looked towards Kokabiel who tightened his hand strongly.
"After the War, what was left were the Angels who had lost their God, the Devils that lost their Maou and the majority of High Class Devils and the Fallen Angels who lost most of the Fallen Angels apart from the leaders. So it wasn't a mere exhausted state. All of the factions fell so low, that they had to rely on humans to continue their generations. Especially the Angels and Fallen Angels that could only continue their generation by mating with humans. Fallen Angels can increase if the Angels fall. But pure Angels can't increase their numbers after losing God. Even pure Devils are rare, right?"
As he spoke, Haruki made his way over to Asia.
Seeing how she was crying, Haruki was now pissed off.
Wordlessly, he brought Asia into a sideways hug, as she clung to him for dear life.
"…Lies…it's a lie…"
Xenovia looked like she started losing strength. She had a panicked expression that was too unbearable to look at.
Even though Haruki wasn't a believer, seeing how Xenovia reacted he could see how crushing it was.
He also saw Irina looking on, her mind was slowly breaking. Sadness, pain, fear, worry was all within her.
He went towards her while Kokabiel was still in his monologue mode, placing a hand on her shoulder, and gently looked towards her.
"Haruki-kun...he's lying...isn't he? Tell me...please tell me he's lying...he has to be Haruki-kun...he's doing this...to try and make us mess up...he's making it up...I mean, we pray to God, and the blessings we receive when we..."
Haruki didn't want to bring her anymore down than she already was.
But he couldn't lie to her.
She deserved the truth, even if the truth wasn't what Haruki wished to burden her with.
"Mixing Holy and Demonic is usually impossible. However, what he offered as an explanation makes sense. If it is Michael who is in charge of the system, it would be inferior to how God would have ruled over it since he created it. Not saying Michael's doing a bad job, but it would also explain some stuff regarding the Sacred Gears, especially seeing Yuuto-kun's Holy Demonic Sword. The irregularities that we're experiencing now before our eyes. Blessings to the Lord would still work with Michael at the helm, we've seen how that is with you Exorcists Irina-chan. Michael's doing his best, but from what I can tell by various things is that Kokabiel is unfortunately telling the truth, God is most likely dead."
Delivering the truth gave no pleasure to Haruki, especially seeing how Asia and Irina were being affected by it, he even saw that Xenovia looked somewhat lost, she didn't know what they were going to do then.
"…God doesn't exist Haruki-san? God…is truly dead? Then the love we were given by him is…"
Asia spoke to Haruki who went to offer a reply, when Kokabiel came in with a disgusting tone.
"That's right. It's normal that there is no love from God and no divine protection from him. God is gone already. Now with him gone, the Fallen Angels will rise, and they'll show their strongest powers and defeat the other races! Even if I have to be the one who starts the war!"
Asia placed her head on Haruki's chest, and cried.
Irina did the same thing.
Seeing the pair cry, Haruki's eyes went towards Kokabiel, showing a darkened expression that instilled fear into Kokabiel.
"Kokabiel...just shut the hell up already."
Kokabiel blinked.
A killing intent erupted from Haruki, almost flooring Kokabiel with such a powerful killing intent alone.
"...Excuse me?"
"God's dead? It's a shame, I wanted to fight the guy. It doesn't change the outcome of our fight though."
"Yeah...I wanted to fight him too."
Vali chimed in, Haruki gave a slightly amused look.
Kokabiel then looked to see a huge aura leaking from Haruki.
The area around him was getting blown away. The aura went into the sky, and formed heavy storm clouds. Lightning sprinkled within the clouds, the roaring sound of thunder was causing the sonic booms to be almost deafening.
"D-Don't you care!? God is deceased!"
"I'm no believer in God, so it doesn't bother me."
Kokabiel pulled back as Haruki took a step forward.
"Y-You should care! Because I'll make you care!"
"You couldn't make anyone care about you, even your own subordinates hated your guts, right Mittelt?"
"Yup, totally hated him."
Haruki took one more step forward, crossing the distance and grabbed one of his wings before he could even react.
"You've pissed me off now. Mentally screwing with my adorable Asia-chan and Irina-chan, I'm going to have to kill you."
Kokabiel panicked, and tried to get away from Haruki, when his hand lightning fast ripped off his wing, drawing blood out of his back.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
He screamed as Haruki slammed his foot into the body of Kokabiel, flinging him up into the air.
The lightning clouds crackled in the sky, as Kokabiel entered them.
Haruki looked up at the clouds, before raising his hand high into the air.
"Hah!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
The lightning within the clouds shocked Kokabiel's body as Haruki clenched his fist tight. Running through his pain centres in his body, and drew out more and more pain.
When he dropped out of the clouds, blood leaked out of his body with many wounds appearing on his flesh. Haruki then turned his eyes up and pointed his finger down, releasing lightning from the clouds, and ran it right through Kokabiel's body.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! STOP THIS YOU BASTARD!"
"Fueee, we're only starting you know~?"
Kokabiel huffed and wheezed, as Haruki shot forward.
Flying fast, he got before Kokabiel who screamed, and unleashed his light in a strong burst of power.
The power was easily avoided by Haruki, who then delivered a sharp kick to the right hand side of Kokabiel's leg. The strength, speed, and power of the kick was more than enough to cause the leg to bend and break.
"DIE YOU BASTARD!"
Kokabiel yelled out, and slammed his hand towards Haruki with light coming out.
"You first!"
But Haruki grabbed it, and twisted his wrist, while slamming a palm into his face, drawing blood out of his face.
Dropping Kokabiel to the ground, he coughed out more and more blood.
He looked as if he was losing his hope.
But then he smirked, and placed a hand on the ground.
"You think you've gotten me, but you haven't! My spell will take you with this town!"
"No, it wont."
Kokabiel looked confused.
He tried to activate the spell he had set up.
But it was clear that it had already been stopped.
"B-But..."
"I stopped it before our battle begun. I thought you'd try something like this."
Kokabiel angrily stood up, and thrust his fists out many times. Light surrounding his fists and he tried to catch Haruki in a match of speed. But Haruki was able to dodge and match his fists with his own and clashed violently with the man's fists.
When Haruki landed a strong fist against Kokabiel's own, the lightning transmitted through his body, and ran up his arm. The pain from the attack burned his skin, and even burned his face with the intensity of the shocking power.
His stance broke with Haruki's attack, and said attack kept going forward, unleashing a mass of Holy Lightning up close and personal, Kokabiel tried to dodge to the side, but three more of his wings were blown off with the incredible waves of power.
Kokabiel heaved and panted.
He looked up to Haruki who gazed down at him with a cold expression.
"What are you?"
"I'm your executioner Kokabiel."
Kokabiel breathed harshly in and out several times.
"B-But, why do you even care?!"
"Because you threatened to harm my loved ones, and you also tried to mentally destroy those I care for. You are just corrupted for the sake of being so. People like you, really do piss me off. You had power, and you chose to cause pain and misery, now that ends here."
Kokabiel fell into despair.
He didn't know how he was going to get out of this.
There wasn't a way.
Even if by some chance he got by Haruki, Vali was right there, and he knew how strong she was as well.
"Now then...shall we continue?"
Kokabiel shook hard.
His eyes swam around in his head.
He looked terrified and angry at the same time.
"I WONT DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Kokabiel tried to attack, only for Haruki to slam his foot into the face of the Fallen Angel, and sent him flying backwards, digging his body into the ground.
Cracking his knuckles, Haruki smirked.
"Lets do this."
Then Haruki continued.
Kokabiel tried desperately, but he couldn't get through.
All of his attacks were neutralized.
All of his plans, shattering before his very eyes.
He lost hope moment by moment and was left without any in the end.
Haruki managed to beat him back again and again, no matter what he did. While Kokabiel was indeed strong, Haruki had fought Vali recently and compared to Vali, and even other Fallen Angels at his level, he knew that there were stronger ones. He knew his Father was stronger than Kokabiel, Azazel was stronger than Kokabiel, and Kokabiel was getting desperate, which made him sloppy and wasn't able to get the upper hand.
"Kokabiel is strong...but the way he fights, isn't how he should do. He tries to overwhelm Haruki...but his speed lacks in compared to Haruki's own, adding onto the strength Haruki has, Kokabiel doesn't have a chance."
Vali surmised to the others, with Kuroka nodding slowly.
"Definitely nyaa. Plus even if it wasn't Haruki-chan, you're able to kill him, right?"
"Yes, Haruki and I are roughly the same level as shown in our fight, so what he's doing I could as well. But, this is personal for Haruki, due to those girls so I don't mind. Besides, he promised me another strong opponent."
"Fufu, you do like those opponents Vali-chan~"
Vali didn't deny what Kuroka said, and merely watched with keen eyes.
By the end of it, Kokabiel was bloody and broken on the ground.
Haruki bent down towards him.
"Got any last words?"
"...You...are nothing...but a disgusting half breed..."
"This nothing was able to overcome you. You shouldn't have tried to start a war, and you shouldn't have harmed the people I care for." Haruki placed his hand out, summoning some Holy Lightning to the frightened Kokabiel. "Goodbye."
Kokabiel was then taken out with a strong wave of Holy Lightning.
The incredible power managed to slay the man before their very eyes.
As the power died down, he disappeared in a single flash of power.
Haruki clapped his hands together several times, dusting his hands off, he turned to the others.
"Hectic day huh?"
Rias adopted a small smile.
"I'll say. Thanks for coming back, Kokabiel could have been tricky."
"No, it's alright. Besides, this event had Yuuto-kun awaken Balance Breaker."
Yuuto adopted a small smile, looking between the comrades that he had.
The different people that came to help him.
Directly or indirectly, he knew that each of those present did care for him one way or another.
"About God...do you think he was saying the truth?"
Rias asked, Haruki nodded.
"I'd say he probably was. Though seeing Yuuto-kun's Balance Breaker, it only solidifies that. I'm sure Sera-tan knew about it, it probably was hard for her to keep it a secret from me, the same for Gabriel-san, but makes sense why they couldn't say anything about it even to us. Though I'm sure if it was necessary they would have said."
"Still, now that we know..." Her eyes cast to the Exorcists. "...and they also know."
"Yeah..."
As they spoke, Akeno went over, and wordlessly hugged Haruki.
He returned it, and whispered "Onee-sama, don't worry, everything's okay~" which she knew to be true, and she was happy that he was back.
Isane then walked over, and poked Yuuto's blade.
"So this thing is a Holy Demonic sword huh? It looks pretty cool huh~?"
Hearing her cheery voice, Yuuto lightly laughed.
"Yuuto." Rias called his name as she approached him. "I'm glad you returned. Also to reach Balance Breaker. I am proud."
"…Buchou. I… To everyone in the club… Most of all, I betrayed you who saved my life once… I can't find the words to express my apology…"
Rias placed a hand to his face, and lightly patted.
"But you have returned. That is enough. You can't waste the feelings of your comrades."
"Buchou… I will promise you once again. I, Kiba Yuuto, will protect you and my comrades for the rest of my life as the Knight of Rias Gremory's group."
"Ufufufu. Thank you. Because we have to work hard now, especially with Haruki having the Hakuryuukou in his group."
"Gremory, if you want to fight all you have to do is ask."
Rias cringed at the silver haired girl.
But then she remembered something.
"Yuuto. It's a punishment for acting by yourself. I'll have you spend a day watching Serafall-sama's show." Yuuto paled while Rias turned to Haruki. "Haruki, your Rook also went off without permission and worked together with the Exorcists. Though it worked out in the end, as a High Class Devil, sometimes some punishments have to be given to servants."
"Fufu, is that so?" Haruki turned to Koneko who looked up towards him. "Koneko-chan, did you disobey me?"
"...Yes Senpai."
She played along with it, so Haruki bent down to face her.
"My cute Rook, as punishment...no lap for a week."
Koneko almost fainted with those words.
"...That's too harsh."
"Really? I think it's a good punishment~"
"B...But, if I forgo your lap for a week...Ravel might move into my territory and would cause some issues to arise."
"I see..." Haruki leaned closer to the young girl, and whispered hotly against her ear. "Then maybe another form of punishment is in order?"
Koneko blushed massively at those suggestive words.
She didn't know what they'd entail, but she knew that it would feel good whatever it was.
Haruki then looked to Irina and Asia, seeing them both looking lost.
The same could be said for Xenovia as well.
He was surprised yet not at the same time, and hoped he'd be able to help them out.
He also looked to Isane and saw that she had some things playing in her mind, remembering how she looked with Freed, and thought about what was going on.
Isane was just glad that everything seemed to be getting back to normal.
She also was glad that Freed had been taken care of.
Now they could finally relax.

So Kokabiel was stopped in this chapter! With him fighting against Rias' group, with Koneko and Asia assiting, before Irina and Xenovia came into assist. Haruki dealt with Mittelt's, and hearing her past, decided to spare her for the moment. Then he came in and dealt with Kokabiel who told of the death of God, though for non believers like Haruki it wasn't an issue. But people like Irina and Asia seem to have been hit by it pretty hard. Kokabiel then died, and for the moment it seems that everyone is able to relax a bit~
Next chapter is going to be the lemon between Haruki, Kuroka and Koneko!
