"The most pressing problem, and the one we can actually do something about, has to be Danzo." Shisui says once she's calmed down enough to be embarrassed and regain her composure.

"The relevant people are Yakushi Kabuto, Yakushi Nono, Yamanaka Fu, Aburame Torune, Yamato, and to a smaller extent Hatake Kakashi. You two are actually the biggest players in this branch of the story." She recites, not quite sure if that's what he wants.

Shisui nods at her.

"Right. Even more important since he's messing inside the village and he has all those other stuff outside."

"Are we going to make contact with those other kids?"

"Oh, definitely. Especially Yakushi Kabuto in regards to Orochimaru. Even if he doesn't end up with Orochimaru, he still has enough potential to play a big part in screwing over the elemental nations."

Itachi doesn't seem to approve of his mild curse, briefly glancing at the five year old in their midst. As if he forgot that he hasn't reached double digit either.

"I think Orochimaru had already been interested in him before Danzo took him into Root."

"Even better. We need to get to him before he kills his mother. Where is he right now?"

"In the academy?"

There's a pause. Because they suspect Shisui and Itachi are both already in Danzo's radar, they can't recklessly approach anyone, especially an agent of his.

And none of them are in the academy anymore anyways, and Nagi has no reason to-

"I... might be able to do something about that, but..." She begins hesitantly, "Yakushi Kabuto is primarily a medical nin, there's a good chance he's in the med program. And Inuzuka Hana, my friend... She just started."

With her connections as clan heiress, she could've gotten into the classes much sooner. But because she is the clan heiress of a primarily combat clan, there had been some clan politics that got in the way.

"Are you alright with that?"

"With what?" She blink at Shisui.

"Well... using your friends?"

"Using- no." her pitch briefly rises "It's not like that. Me and Izumi were already planning on dropping by, I'm just promising you to keep an eye out for Kabuto and maybe visit more often than initially planned." She shrug, "And by the way I still don't know what I'll do once I make contact. At this point, he still has no reason to betray Danzo."

Shisui tap a finger on the wood, "Dont worry about that. Just know where he is, I'll handle the rest. For that matter, all those other names you mentioned and the Konoha twelve too, watch them closely. Tell me when Danzo is moving towards them. But don't get too close, we can't put you at risk of any suspicion. We may be spending some time now, but hardly anyone will think two days is enough to take your loyalty from your clan, especially taking into account your seal."

"What about me?" Itachi speaks up.

"I was getting to there. I already had plans before this, but now with Nagi's story, it's imperative that you become stronger. Don't reveal too much though, don't be impatient about those promotions. In fact, let's go with your advancement in the story. Chunin at ten, ANBU at eleven." Shisui grins, teasingly bopping Itachi's nose with the back of his chopsticks, "Of course that also means you gotta be the youngest ANBU captain by thirteen. I pulled in a favour, when you return to Konoha, go find Yuuhi Kurenai. She's a genjutsu artist that can even make Sharingan users succumb for hours, she'll teach you genjutsu."

"I know genjutsu."

"Well, you don't know genjutsu yet to be able to beat a master like Kurenai-san. Remember, you did it at eighteen. You have to do it sooner."

After waiting, Itachi frown, "That's it?"

"That's it for now."

"... to be stronger than the other Itachi..." Itachi looks down, clenching his hands on his lap, "Shisui. He had the Mangekyo."

"Oh, are you going to kill me?"

"No." Itachi head snap up, angry he'd even suggest it.

"Dont worry, we'll find a way but I'm not shanking myself in front of you any time soon. I'll go take a look at that stone tablet, too. I didn't know about that."

Nagi glance between them, "When we return to Konoha... Are you going on a mission, Shisui-san?"

"You know, we've come to this point. Drop the '-san'."

She has figuratively spilled her guts to them.

"I can't call you '-kun'."

"What about 'nii-san'?" He beams.

"I might slip."

"... Just go with 'Shisui'."

"That seems so rude-"

He wave his hand, "It's an affectionate name, and if others think you're rude, please, I've been called worse by Hyuuga. At least then you can just say that while we're spending our time here, you lost all your respect for me. See, it'd even make it that everyone will think it's even more unlikely for us to be friends."

Friends.

"Right. Shisui... Are you going on a mission?"

"Yup. And it just so happens to be in the Land of Water."

"Gato." Itachi says.

"Yup. And, if possible, I can even go have a look at the Mizukage."

"That's too dangerous to do so soon." Itachi oppose, "What kind of plan could you have come up in the span of two days. We can let it be in the meantime. It'll be about a decade yet until he dies."

"... you're right. But we also need to establish connections outside the village, at least one from each village... But it can't be someone too set in their ways, too loyal already. Someone who'll be open to working with others outside their villages for the whole continent."

"Gaara." Itachi propose.

"Deidara." She says.

Shisui tap his chin in thought, "Gaara of the future... And I'd rather not subvert kids."

They look at him strangely.

What's his definition of kids?

She can understand Gaara, she always put in effort to take a different path if it looks like she'll cross with anyone from the Konoha twelve.

"Deidara is older than me, and I don't have much on him but he's strong. Having defected young and only caught when Itachi himself faced against him. He also stole something very important to Iwa so that makes it even more impressive that he's able to slip away. He does things with clay, art, and makes them explode. I thinks his favourite are the birds, he can fly on them."

"Right, keep an eye out on him but I don't think I'll be sent anywhere near Iwa for some time."

"Oh, by the way. There's Mangetsu from Kiri, and his brother Suigetsu who was a member of Sasuke's team Taka."

"Oh I know him, yeah, he's in the bingo book."

"There's also Haku, who's with Zabuza. I don't know what you can do with him, but he's really loyal to Zabuza. Kimimaro, from the Kaguya clan. Orochimaru wanted his body because of his kekkei genkai, he's a direct descendant of Princes Kaguya, somehow. Then from Suna, Gaara's older sister, Temari. In Iwa, there's also the Tsuchikage's granddaughter, the future Tsuchikage Kurotsuchi. In regards to those two, they're definitely loyal to their villages, but I think Temari may be convinced for her brothers safety. It's hard to tell this things since you can't really say at what point these feeling turn to loyalty. They're both strong." She counts. "Then there's the nine jinchuuriki. Gaara the ichibi, Yugito nii of Kumo for the nibi, Yagura for the sanbi, Roshi and Han of Iwa are the jinchuuriku of the yonbi and gobi respectively, Utakata from Kiri is rokubi, Fuu is nanabi from Takigakure, Killer Bee of Kumo is the hachibi, and Naruto for the kyuubi. Oh, and if you're going to do anything with the Mizukage, you have to know that the bijuu are sentient and the kyuubi especially holds a grudge against the Sharingan."

Shisui looks at the time to see it way past lunch, "Nagi, what can you tell me about the faction of Terum Mei. Actually, just write everyone down here."
