"Guysss!" Bella is plastered. We're all drunk, but she's fully gone. I've been carrying her over my shoulder for the last block and a half. "The world is taking a night-night break," she slurs, her elbow digging into my back as she tries to sit up enough to take in our friends. I can feel her flop back over, too drunk to keep herself up.
"So you've said," Alice calls from where she and Jasper are walking wrapped up around each other behind us.
"Several times," Rose mutters next to me. Bella tries to sit up again.
"Noooo," she cries. "Guys, this is it. We're stuck together. Are we gonna? And like… you know?"
She is making literally no sense, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it. "Try again, Bells," I coax.
She groans and flops back down. Her hand accidentally smacks my ass, and I laugh, reaching up to smack hers.
"Hey!" she shouts. "Can't smack it if you won't kiss it!"
I nearly drop her, I'm laughing so hard. Alice and Rose are losing it, their laughter loud and bright in the night.
"Bella!" Alice giggles. "We so don't need to hear about your kinky-ass ways."
Bella giggles that then turns into a burp. "Ali, you fucking" hiccup "wished you" hiccup "knew my kinky" hiccup "ass."
We're all laughing at Bella, who flops over again, groaning about the world spinning around her.
We reach the walkway of the house, and Rose goes ahead, unlocking the front door.
I carry Bella directly upstairs to her room, pulling her off my shoulder gently and setting her on her bed. "You'll see," she mutters, flopping back on her mattress. "I'm right. We're all gonna be it. You see."
Rose works the covers out from under her, so at least she's a little more comfortable. "Sleep," she commands quietly.
Bella scowls. "Someone tell my Duck Dealer I want to see his wares."
I snort and look at Rose, who looks just as confused and amused. We turn back to Bella, and I shake my head at her. "Sleep it off, Bells."
She flips me off as I leave her room.
Bella makes me cackle, honestly. She's so much fun to write. Anyone have any idea what she was rambling about? haha.
All right, loves. Tomorrow is the day off, but I'm posting a gif teaser on FB for Chapter 6, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
