"Absolutely not!"

"Please… just for a little while?"

"I have a hard enough time putting up with you for a month!"

Melee rolled her eyes to it all. It has been one of those days once more, but it only proves things are getting back to normal in a sense. But this one, caught her off guard. Standing before the front door, offering the best puppy dog eyes she has ever seen him pull off was Amai Mask.

There have been reports recently of people trying to attack him, most recently, someone broke into his condo and tore it to shred! They were going to burn the place down had he not gotten home in time, yet ever since, no one, not even hotels will take him in due to various reasons. But the attacks were the most dominate of them.

That and it was the safer option to use against him.

"I told you, we ain't a hotel!" Garou protested. "Go stay at the Association or something!"

"Where do you think I have been living!" Amai snapped back. "Don't get me wrong, it's great, but I like to have somewhere I can recharge and not have to deal with other heroes staring at me oddly. I feel… at home here."

Garou turned to Melee. "I don't want him here!" he protested.

However, she wasn't about to turn him away either. Garou knew it too, after all, he knows her well enough. "He's switching with Snek soon, isn't he?" she asked offhandedly.

"Damn it," Garou muttered under his breath.

Amai's eyes sparkled. "So…"

"You are on diaper duty from this moment on, no arguments!" Garou snapped back.

He didn't appear to care. With what little he saved from his condo, Amai rushed in and went to his room instantly. When the door closed, Melee sighed aloud. "I know he's not the best to have around the house, but at the same time…"

"Yeah, yeah… if anything, I'll get your old man to torment him." They fell silent at first until Melee smirked.

"So, are we going to have to have a talk with Titan?" she asked.

A snicker came over Garou as he scratched his chin on the notion. "I should have had the talk with him a LONG time ago, I never thought he would be the one out of his siblings…"

She nodded in agreement, but her smile only grew. "And who did we just invite into the house when this all happens?"

He was laughing now, far more evilly than usual! But then again, there are few things in life that Garou could enjoy. "Either way, we are both on hand to see it happen, right?"

She nodded in agreement. "So… the family is moving on, kids are moving out and we're still stuck together huh?"

"What do you mean stuck?" he demanded.

She snickered. "You and I aren't going anywhere from each other, it's rather nice,"

"Tch, coming from the woman who had her brothers AND father turned into cyborgs that could kick my ass in various ways if I ever cheated or did anything to you… yeah, I'm stuck all right!"

She snickered. "Like you would!" but then sighed with relief. "I just hope we can get back to a good normal. The Neo Heroes are not sitting well with me. After what they did to Bad…"

Garou nodded in agreement. "It won't be long now, we will be making a move, but for the moment. Let's let things settle down, and with Alley's insight. We will be better prepared for what's to come."

"I agree, after all, we got grandchildren to be worried about now!"

"Shit, don't remind me…"
