Intro: Natsu and Lucy have their magic switched around due to a curse that was put on them. The curse only lasts for a day, but will these two survive with the unfamiliarity in their magic?

Everyone stared for a second before panicking and starting to try to stop the fire that got on some clothing from spreading. After making sure all fire was gone, they turned back to the blonde that was still screaming with small tears coming out of her eyes. Not knowing if she got hurt, Natsu started to try to help her, but nothing seemed to be working. Lucy was just covering her face with her hands, as if to stop any more fire from coming. Everyone was in confusion, not knowing what had happened.

After about 20 minutes things seemed to calm down, and Lucy had finally uncovered her face. The only issue was, for about 5 minutes now, it's just been silent with everyone staring at one another, unsure of what to say. They all looked up to the second floor when they heard a door open, and they saw their Master standing there. "Why is it so quiet out here?" Makarov had questioned while we walked towards the bar for a drink. Erza started explaining all that had occurred to the master, and after her story the master had nodded slowly, but still said nothing.

After a few minutes of watching the master drinking his drink, everyone was wondering if he had listened or not. Before much longer, the master spoke. "I think I know what is going on. I need Lucy and Natsu to come to my office though, please." Everyone stared at Lucy and Natsu who walked up the stairs to the second floor, followed by their master. Even as the door was shut, you could feel the curious gazes of their guild mates. "I need to know, when did y'alls powers start to act up?" The master questioned. Lucy was still unsure of what to say, so looked at Natsu for some help in leading the conversation. "It started today. Right after we got back from our mission." Natsu replied.

The master gave a few nods before continuing. "Alright, hmm, and what happened during the mission?" Natsu recalled everything that happened, with Lucy adding in some details he may have missed. "Right before we finished him off, he tried to let out a spell. But nothing appeared but a bright light, so we assume he was down before he could finish it." Lucy ended off with. The master sighed before sitting back in his chair. "I don't think so my young ones. I believe this was his spell." Lucy and Natsu looked at their master with questioning looks. "What I mean is, I believe his spell was to make y'all change powers." The master couldn't help but mentally take a picture of how the two's faces gaped open in shock.

After a few more questions from the two, the one Makarov had been waiting for was asked. "How long will it last?" He thought this would have been one of the first ones, but no, it wasn't. "With most of these spells, it usually lasts anywhere from 3 to 5 days, but since yours activated pretty quickly, I would go ahead and say 3 days." Again, he couldn't help but let an inside laugh happen, seeing their shocked faces was too much. He knew most would be panicking, but this spell wasn't too bad, nothing harmful, and there is really no way to make it go back without waiting the time out. All he can do is just answer their questions and help make sure they don't endanger themselves or others. After about 30 minutes of questions, the two finally left the Masters office and went back down to the main floor where everyone was still waiting, even the younger ones who would usually be on their way home so they could get some rest.

After explaining everything that they found out, everyone started to slowly leave. First the ones with younger kids, like Alzack and Bisca had to take Asuka home. Wendy went home as well, escorted by Romeo. After that, everyone just left at their own time. By the time Lucy headed home, less than a fourth of the guild remained. It was about 11 o'clock, so not many people were awake. Heading home gave her time to think over everything and get her mind focused on what to expect the next few days. All she knew at that time was, there was no way she would be attending any jobs until she got her powers back. It would be endangering others, her teammates, and herself to try to go with a power she has no idea how to handle or use. She just hoped her landlady would think the same thing.

Sighing exasperatedly, she made it to her apartment door, and went inside to get ready for bed. She had gotten a shower earlier that day, so there was no need tonight, so she could do that in the morning. All she needed to do was get into comfier clothing, and go to bed. After getting dressed and brushing her teeth, she laid down and started to slowly fall asleep before she felt a sudden warmth, which was strange since she had been under the covers a good 15 minutes, and nothing had changed beforehand. Growing suspicious, she had a good feeling she knew who it was, she slowly turned over and confirmed everything when she saw the salmon haired boy and blue furry cat beside her. She groaned before turning back over, not even having the energy to deal with the two. She just needs a good night's sleep, tomorrow would be better, and everything would be under control.

Everything was most definitely not under control. Today was the second day with everything that has been happening, and it was scary to say the least. Lucy had set 3 people on fire, luckily it was just their clothing, she had set 2 houses on fire, and 1 store. She even set some of Mira's food on fire! If that wasn't bad enough, Natsu also had some troubles. He wound up following into a lake when Lucy had accidentally set his clothing on fire, and that summoned the most furious spirit ever. Aquarius then flooded the nearby area, not even realizing (or not caring), that her owner had changed. After getting severe scolding and lots of yells and cursing from citizens, they let out their final apology before going to the guild.

That was when Natsu had his second accident occur. When Gray forgot once again that Natsu couldn't use his fire, Natsu decided to try to summon Loke. And he did, the only issue was, he summoned him right when Gray let out another attack, making the spirit get hurt and sent back to the spirit world immediately. That got him a severe scolding from Lucy herself, and many of the other guild members. Even if Natsu didn't mean to, they weren't supposed to be using the others powers unless they could help it. But other than that, Lucy did the most damage between the two, and she couldn't believe it. At least tomorrow was the final day. No worries after then.

Once again, Lucy regrets her choice of words. This last day was worse than the first. Today Loke summoned himself to figure out what was going on, and when he got the full details, he went back and told all of the spirits. Which then led all that could summon themselves to come out, but of course, when not under Lucy's command, they have to listen to everything Natsu said. And Natsu being Natsu, of course had them do the craziest things. He had Loke act like a Lion, and Virgo turn into the way she was when they first met, and many other things. It frustrated Lucy to no end, but he wasn't really harming them, so she couldn't say anything.

She also set the forest near Natsu's house on fire, when she had, 'Lucy kicked' him for saying something inappropriate, even if it wasn't on purpose, Natsu should watch what he said. When then of course alerted many citizens, and caused lots of mayhem. If only their powers would go back to normal. Let's not forget to mention that she also set her clothing on fire, and had to get Natsu to summon Virgo to get her new clothing. All in all, she couldn't wait to get her magic back. She just wanted to go back to normal for once!

Lucy woke up the next day expecting to have chaos follow once again. But luck was on her side finally, and nothing happened. Her powers were back! She turned around getting ready to leave when she noticed her teammate coming in through the window. He looked up at her, after feeling the sense that someone was watching him. He finished climbing in before flinching, awaiting the feeling of being kicked, but it never came.

Instead, he felt the feeling of being tackled, into a hug. Wrapping his arms around his teammate instinctively, they hit the floor. He looked up at her with curious eyes while also glancing every now and then to make sure she didn't get hurt during the short but harmful fall. After making sure she was okay, he once again looked her in the eye, full of curiosity. "I am never going to judge you the next time you set something on fire and say it was your powers." She told him honestly. Natsu couldn't help but let out a laugh, and it melted Lucy's heart. Together they laughed, enjoying one another's company.
