It was a few weeks before Christmas and Kurt and Blaine were in the waiting room at the office and were waiting to get called back. Today was the day they were finding out the gender of the baby.
"I'm so excited Blaine even though I know we are going to have a baby girl." "You are seriously sticking with your dream that the baby is a girl?" "Yes I saw her in my dream Blaine she looked exactly like you from her dark black hair to her brown eyes she even looked like she was short like you." "Hey I'm not that much shorter than you." "Yeah but you still are shorter." "Kurt Hummel?"
Kurt and Blaine got up and walked over to the nurse. "Ok Kurt can you please verify your birthday." "05/27/94." "Ok can you stand on the scale?" "Ok" Kurt stud and waited for the nurse to write down the weight. "Ok Kurt can you go in to that room and Doctor will be right in." Kurt and Blaine talked until Kurt's phone started to ring
"Hello"
"Is this Mr. or Mr. Hummel-Anderson"
"Yes this is Mr. Kurt Hummel-Anderson"
"I'm Amber from Neurology with Dr. Laurence Walsh I was calling you back to make an appointment for your son Devin Hummel-Anderson"
"Yes thank you for getting back with me"
"So when are you free"
"I don't know because I have to stay in the hospital"
"Ok call me back when you can and we can get that appointment set up"
"Ok thank you"
Kurt put his phone back in his pocket and Blaine looked over at him "What was that about sweetie?" "Oh, the Neurology department called me back to set up an appointment with Devin to see why he is behind." "Ok." Soon the doctor came in "Hello Kurt are you ready to see what baby Hummel-Anderson is." "Yes, even though I had a dream about her she looked so beautiful from her long curly hair to her big brown eyes." "I heard of mom's saying that they have dreams about their babies but you're the first one that had the love gene and got pregnant to tell me that you had a dream."
Kurt smiled at that he lift up his shirt and you could see his baby bump just then Kurt scrunched up his nose as the baby kicked him in the ribs. "Ok let's check on baby Hummel-Anderson." Kurt looked at the screen and saw and felt the baby kicks "Aww Blaine she kicking." "Aww." "She is very healthy baby so what are you going to name her?" "Mercedes Elizabeth July " "Aww cute."
Kurt and Blaine smiled at the doctor and then turned their attention to the baby. "She sounds precious" "I can't wait to meet her." "I know Coop said that he is so excited to be an uncle." "But he is already an uncle even though the twins aren't biologically yours we signed the birth certificate Hummel-Anderson so that makes you Honey Rose Jule Hummel-Anderson and Devin Jordan Alexander Hummel-Anderson their father." "I know but They won't be mine if something happens to us." Kurt looked over at Blaine very hurt. "Blaine are you serious going to desert the twins if we ever break up?" "No but Cooper might push me too because they aren't biologically mine but I will never desert them I love them too much to do that." "I know they love you too."
Kurt and Blaine shared a kiss and then Kurt scheduled his next appointment and then they went back upstairs "Blaine can I ask you a question?" "Sure Kurt." "Why did you say that downstairs? I was hurt by you saying that it's not my fault that I was raped and sexually abused." "I wasn't thinking I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings." "It's ok. They should be here soon with their uncle Wes and cousin Emma." "I know you are excited about seeing them aging. but we need to talk about the phone call do you want me to go and tell you everything that happened?" "No I want to be there but should we wait until the baby is born because we will be in Indy anyways." "I heard that he travels from hospital to hospital."
Kurt and Blaine both started to laugh at that they talked until Wes came with the twins "somebody has missed their MooMoo and papa." Kurt and Blaine rolled their eyes at Wes that when they saw Emma walking over to them.
"Wes when did Emma start walking?" "Last week but now that she can walk she doesn't want me to carry her." Kurt and Blaine looked at each other because they didn't understand why Devin was behind Honey but they hoped that he would catch up "Honey is already crawling but Devin is so behind." "I saw. But why is Devin so behind?" "We don't know but we have a doctor's appointment next month on the third." "That's good. How far is he behind?" "He is eight months old and he can't sit up yet if you try and do that he falls right back on his back or on his stomach." "Oh wow that's terrible." "I know and the only thing he isn't behind on was smiling I'm guess I'm lucky for that. Now hand me my babies."
Wes handed Devin over to Kurt while Blaine was holding Honey. Kurt and Blaine watched as Wes tried to catch Emma but for Emma's best she was running away finally Wes manage to catch her. They saw Honey laughing at Emma and trying to get down off of Blaine's lap. "Blaine if she wants down let her just shut the door." "Ok." Kurt watched as Blaine walked over and shut the door and then he put Honey on the floor who was fast to crawl to Wes and tried to get Emma to play with her. Emma smiled and started to play peekaboo with Honey. Wes visited until visiting hours were over.
