Chapter 30

"I would like to call Jason Morgan to the stand," Diane said, and she heard a big gasp.

Jason came into the courtroom and walked up to the stand. Sam let out a scream, ran over to him and threw her arms around him. The judge banged her gavel and called order to the court.

"Samantha Morgan, please sit down or you will be held in contempt," the judge said.

Jason sat down and the bailiff swore him in. Elizabeth looked at Jason and mouthed 'Where is Jake?' and Jason mouthed back 'OB.' She nodded as Diane stood up.

"Mr. Morgan, it is good to see you alive and well," Diane said.

"Thank you, Ms. Miller," Jason said. He turned to the judge and spoke, "I apologize for being late, Your Honor. I was at the hospital." The judge nodded and told Diane she could continue.

"Mr. Morgan, I just have one question. Who did you leave your estate to?" Diane asked.

"I left my estate to Elizabeth," Jason stated.

"That is all I have. Your witness," Diane said to Alexis.

Alexis paused for a moment and then stood up.

"Mr. Morgan are you positive that you left your estate to Elizabeth," she asked.

"Yes, I am positive. Elizabeth and my sister were the only ones who were in will. No one else. I was able to find out how the fake will was created, Damien Spinelli. He admitted to me and to the police. He also admitted to bugging Ms. Miller's office. That is how he found out that what I wrote in my actual will. He told Sam and she had him create the fake will," he said.

"That's a lie," Sam screamed.

"Ms. Morgan, you are thin ice. One more outburst and I will hold you in contempt," the judge said.

"Mr. Morgan, you said you were at the hospital, can I ask why?" Alexis asked.

"I was getting the results of a DNA test on Danny Morgan," Jason said.

"Do you not believe that Danny is your son?" Alexis probed.

"No, I do believe he is my son. We had a maternal test done," he stated.

"Why? We all know he is Samantha Morgan's son," Alexis said, angry.

"Actually, he not. After my supposed death, I was able to look into what happened to Sam's baby and I was able to get a hold of my sister-in-law, Dr. Sarah Webber, in California, and she told me that Elizabeth gave birth to my son in July. She said that she delivered a healthy baby boy and then a little later, Elizabeth was told her son died," Jason said. "Danny Morgan is my son and Elizabeth is his mother. Dr. Webber was able to identify the person who took Elizabeth's son and she pointed to Sam."

As Alexis was about to ask another question, the judge cut her off. "Mr. Morgan, do you have proof of this?" the judge asked.

"Yes ma'am. We have a sworn affidavit, and we have copies of the security footage where Dr Webber was able to identify Sam," Jason said.

"No more questions," Alexis said, rejected. She started to think how she was going to defend her daughter.

"Mr. Morgan, you may step down. In light of all of evidence, I am ready to make my ruling. Jason Morgan's original will stand, and the case is awarded to Mrs. Elizabeth Morgan. Court is adjourned," the judge banged her gavel and went into her chambers.

Carly ran to Jason and through her arms around him. "I am so glad you are home. The kids will be so happy." She said, as she tried to pull him.

Jason did not look happy. He turned to Dante and nodded. Dante left the courtroom and Jason turned back to his so-called family.

"Carly I am not staying in Port Charles," he told her.

"Of course, you are. Your family is Sonny, Sam, the kids and me," she said.

"No, it's not. You call yourselves my family, but family don't lie, they don't manipulate, and they don't stabbed family in the back," Jason said as Elizabeth walked up to him. He put his arm around her.

"Whatever she said to you is a lie," Carly said, pointing to Elizabeth.

"Carly, she didn't tell me anything. You want to know who shot me…Sonny." Jason said.

Carly looked at him like he was crazy. "Jason, are you crazy? It was Faison that shot you," Carly stated.

"No, it wasn't. It was Sonny. I got the footage from the cameras at the docks, and it proves Sonny did it. But that is not all Sonny has done. Sonny is wanted for kidnapping of Johnny Zacchara. He was the one who had the bomb planted at Elizabeth's studio. He was the one who had her trapped in the tomb with Zander Smith. You see, back in 1997, he was asked by Don Giambetti to watch over Elizabeth. But once he found out that one, Elizabeth was Don Giambetti's daughter and two, he realized that she could possible id him as part of the kidnapping of Johnny, he wanted her out of the way. If you are wondering, Johnny and Elizabeth, are twins. Anyways, once Giambetti realized that Sonny was not doing what he was asked. He recruited me to keep Elizabeth safe," Jason told her.

"So, you married her to keep her safe? That was why you were with her? Now that Elizabeth found her family, that mean you can come home," Carly demanded.

"No! I was with her and married her because I loved her. Carly, did you not hear a word I said? Of course, you didn't. You never do. Anyways, I also found out some other things. Like Sonny helped Sam kidnap Jake. Also, he has been running drugs for years. What Sonny did not realize is that while I was working for Don Giambetti, I was also working with the FBI. They now have enough for Sonny to prison for life. My shooting…well while Sonny pulled the trigger, I had a bullet-proof vest on. I have been working behind the scenes since, along with guys I trust," Jason said as the court doors opened, and Sonny thought he saw a ghost.
