Chapter 29: Night Party Crawlers
Evan wanted to save his girlfriend from Rambert's grasp and he couldn't kill him by just using a normal sword. Seed arrives as he brings the Star Dragon Sword with him while in his sleepwear.
"You seem to be upset for not saving your girl."
"Oh... it's you... the one who burned the zombie army into a pile of ashes." Evan said and noticed the sword is with him.
"I'd be honest with you, this sword is very handy to kill those bloodsuckers. He's the one who bothers my conversation with Lene when it was spoken to us." Seed grunted upon mentioning the Star Dragon Sword.
"Yeah... It was spoken when he sees Rambert. I never knew that..." Evan said as Seed remembers this sword belongs to Viktor who is one of Riou's comrades in the Dunan Army.
"That sword originally belongs to Viktor and he is one of Lord Riou's rabble allies and this sword can slay vampires in one swoop."
"So what happened to that guy?" Evan wondered as Seed tells him.
"I don't know much about the other current events... I know me and Culgan are killed at the hands of Lord Riou and his rabble mercenaries. Some people say that this sword was given to a man named Edge. Now it was in your current time, I think everyone dies from natural causes."

"Trust me, on that one. That sword is the incarnation of the Night Rune, one of the 27 True Runes. I'll entrusted you with it." Seed then gives the Star Dragon Sword to Evan and he smiles at him. "That sword can save your girl."
"Thank you so much..." Evan said thankfully to Seed as he replies with a smirk.
"I'm totally changed to my perspective. I do this for Lene. I was an aristocrat and an ill-tempered person that ended up befall for a feisty princess."
As Seed leaves back to his room, Evan was nice to see him gave him the Star Dragon Sword.
At the night party, Sean, Cara, Geddoe and Drogo see the party is lively and has many club DJs are playing the music.
"This is first time I've heard these sorts of music."
"Seems like we have to find out the culprits within the live parties. The vampires might be there." Sean said as Cara tells them.
"We have to split up into two teams and find out the evidence from the party."
"All right, let's go..." Geddoe said and Sean nods.
The two teams split up to find the evidence and the culprits behind the game.
Sean then meets up a lady named Erika who is also one of the party organizers in the night party.
"You like some of my champagne it's for free."
"Inspector Rockwell..."
Sean sips the champagne and it was delicious and seeing the other party organizers are also give the people a free samples during the party.
"Your champagne looks great. I appreciate it..." Sean smiled and asking her. "Did other party organizers would even became so active on this party?"
"Of course it is... it was pretty lively until this brand of wine was introduced to make things jampacked." Erika said and became suspicious to both of them. "I had no idea, are you two are also party goers as well?"
"The thing is, lady..."
Sean finally explains to Erika about their current investigation of the missing women and to her shock that they are from the Silveria Kingdom.
"I see... I would expect someone from the Silveria Kingdom who currently resides at the Higheast."
"Shhh... there's no time for saying stuff right now. Here's a thing, you could assists us anytime as possible. Cause I could see that one of the brands of the wine or an alcohol beverages belongs to those no good bloodsuckers." Sean whispers to her and she nods in agreement. "Don't worry, I'll introduce you to the princess for later."
"Wow, Inspector Rockwell... you act so suave for that woman. I think that's why you were populated by many girls."
"Seems like our suspect would be one of the brands of the wine they give free samples."
Meanwhile, Geddoe and Drogo are trying to make taste samples of every wine and they saw one of the brands are trying to give them free samples.
"Mmmm... this is good. Hey, Geddoe why don't you try it?"
"I already taken a lot of free samples. But right now, I'll pass..." Geddoe said until Drogo collapses. "Oh shit... Drogo, are you all right?"
Geddoe noticed he was unconscious and to see the wine he had drunk. He noticed on the wine brand and decides to carry him off. As Sean and Cara arrives to the scene, they see some party goers are having a taste test for their wine. Sean sensed that this person is trying to put drugs in each of the cups.
"Inspector Rockwell, you look serious all of the sudden?"
As he sees the group named Bloody Nights, they came to get have him a drink.
"Try it, this is very good wine than the rest of them."
Before Sean could drink it, he noticed how suspicious they are and seeing them as the real suspects.
"I can smell a vampire stench coming from this wine company. Did you really think I would be drinking with drugs on it." Sean said as it pour down the wine with a drug inside of it which surprises Cara in his actions. "I'd say this wine brand belongs to Rambert is that right?"
"So you finally figure it out, young man. Cause we are here to abduct any people for our Master Rambert."
"Yeah, and I would gladly to skin both of you."
The two vampires proceed to attack both Cara and Sean as Cara defends herself with her dual daggers while Sean blocks with his Tokkosho. Both are armed with their weapons to fight them until a multiple of electric projectiles hits them and turns into a pile of ashes and many people think it was a glowing light in the sky.
"That thunder projectiles?" Sean was surprised and it was actually Geddoe who wields the True Lightning Rune by casting Soaring Bolt and knowing who is responsible behind it.
"Geddoe, thanks for your help." Cara thanked Geddoe for saving them and he informs both of them.
"I'm glad that you didn't drink that stuff. Drogo had drunk this wine until he collapses."
"Apparently, when he drinks that wine, it has a sleeping drug inside of those cups." Sean said which surprises Geddoe.
"You're kidding! It has capsules within those cups!? I've never seen that one before!"
"It's not just women that Rambert was trying to abduct. Even men like us... In other words, he targets men to suck their blood as his food while the ladies are about to become his brides. Seems like this party needs to be stopped in whoever drinks that wine they made with those drugs on it. They will be captured immediately."
"You mean to say their motives were..." Cara wondered to know as Sean angrily reveals their motives.
"Mass Kidnapping... I expect that bastard vampire use his wine business to prey on the victims. Which is why other people in Tinto including Lady Lauren are unaware of their true motives. They are concealing in the day but they do this in night time so that they could enjoy the party."
"I'll bring Drogo back to the Pendragon Residence while you two would stop the party right away. I'll catch up..." Geddoe said decided to take the sleeping Drogo back to the Pendragon residence.
"Hoping you catch with us, Geddoe." Cara said nicely.
Geddoe nods and as he takes Drogo to safety. Both Sean and Cara wanted to stop this jampacked party.
"How can we stop this party? It is filled with people you know..."
"I know who can help us..." Sean said knowing that Erika is gonna help them.
At the balcony of the Pendragon Residence, Lene watches the night sky and the city is filled with bright lights because of the night party being currently held. Seed arrives to see her and compliments on her sleepwear.
"You still wearing that gorgeous sleep wear, Lene."
"You should be sleeping right now, Seed. You seemingly down lately." Lene said pointing out on his behavior.
"Okay, you got me... I lent the Star Dragon Sword to Evan then I see the guy with an eye patch passing by and brought Drogo here who is unconscious." Seed shrugged when she noticed his current behavior. "Mockingbird is already making his move with the other female inspector. I'm glad I wasn't participate on that party."
"Did Geddoe had tell you something?" Lene wondered and asking if Geddoe was saying about the current incident as Seed reveals it.
"I don't think that bloodsucker can abduct only girls in parties. He includes men like us. How disgraceful that bloodsucker was trying to do, sucking them with his fangs to suck blood as his meal?"
"I guess Sean is trying his best to save everyone from any forms of trouble." Lene said and the reason of not participating this ordeal. "He knows that either of us are on the line."
Seed knows how Sean was perfectly fitted on their investigation case and knowing he is much better than Richmond on his time.
