Elowen, Bonnie and Caroline were out dress shopping for prom. Caroline was currently trying a dress on and Bonnie was telling them about the dreams she'd been having about Jeremy.

"What kind of dreams?" Caroline asked as she stepped out of the dressing room.

"Usually I'm at his grave, and all of a sudden, he appears to me," Bonnie replied.

"Well, you never got to say goodbye, Bon," Elowen said. "You're grieving. That's normal."

"When I woke up, the couch was on fire," Bonnie deadpanned.

"Oh."

"I don't know if it's because I was emotional in my dream, or if Shane was right. Without his help, I'll lose control of my magic."

Caroline turned away from the three way mirror she was standing in front of and looked at Bonnie.

"No, it's because you need a night off from mourning, and I'm going to make sure that you have it."

Elowen, Bonnie and Caroline all smiled at each other.

"By the way, you look super hot, Care," Elowen commented.

Caroline turned back to the mirrors. "You think?"

"Oh yeah."

Caroline smiled. "Yeah."

"Josiah is gonna have the sexiest date there."

"Please, Elle. You'll have Stefan and Damon on your arms. Nobody will look my way."

"I still can't believe Damon agreed to go to prom with you," Bonnie said. "Stefan I can understand, but Damon? I didn't peg him as the type to do human teenager stuff."

"Well, then, prepare to have your minds blown," Elowen replied. "It was his idea."

Caroline and Bonnie turned to gap at Elowen.

"Yeah, I know. He said that prom was a staple event in any teenager's life and that he wasn't going to let Stefan take all the credit. He also said, and I quote, 'Prom isn't complete if somebody doesn't show up with a prom date that's slightly too old for high school'."

Bonnie snorted. "Uh, they're both slightly too old for high school."

"That may be true, but Stefan has the face of a 17 year old and Damon was 25 when he was turned. Who do you think everyone's gonna see as a college aged guy?"

"Hm. Fair point." Bonnie sighed. "You two are lucky. You have dates and everything."

"Hey, don't feel too bad. You and Matt are going as friend dates, aren't you?"

"Yeah, but it's still not the same. Angel said he would've been my date if he didn't have to go back to Atlanta to see his dad."

"Speaking of Angel. What's the deal between you two?" Caroline asked. "Because he's hot. Don't get me wrong, Josiah's attractive, but Angel? Boy."

Elowen raised her hand. "I second that. Just don't tell Stefan or Damon."

Bonnie started to blush. "Knock it off, you guys. And for the record, we're still at the friend stage."

Caroline tilted her head. "Didn't you say you two kissed at Christmas?"

"Yeah, because his sister was dangling mistletoe above our heads. Those are kind of the rules."

"Well, still."

"Even Toby's rooting for you two," Elowen piped up. "What should your ship name be? BonGel?"

Bonnie nudged Elowen. "Shut up."

"Ooh, ship names! What should mine and Josiah's name be?" Caroline asked.

Elowen thought it over. "Hm. Jaroline?"

"Jaroline," Caroline repeated. "I like it. As for you and Stefan, what about Stelowen? Oh! And for you and Damon, Delowen."

"What about a ship name for the three of us?"

Bonnie shook her head. "I cannot believe you guys are having this conversation like a bunch of Twilight fangirls."

Elowen and Caroline ignored her. Caroline was trying to think of a name.

"Huh. Defowen?"

"Defowen," Elowen tried it out. "I mean, it's not terrible."

The bell to the entrance jingled, notifying everyone that someone was entering. They all looked over and all playfulness and smiles were gone when they saw that it was Elena and Rebekah.

"Hey, Bonnie," Elena said. "Heard you got your mind wiped. That sucks." She looked over at Caroline. "Pretty dress, Caroline."

"I know," Caroline replied shortly. "Elowen helped me pick it out months ago." She turned to the store clerk. "Can you press this for me? I'll pick it up later. Girls."

Elowen and Bonnie followed Caroline back into the dressing rooms, leaving Elena and Rebekah on their own.

Elowen and Josiah were standing in the foyer, forced to take pictures by Esmeralda. Josiah was in a simple tux, while Elowen was in a deep red dress made out of tulle. It was off the shoulder, with puffy, see through tulle sleeves, and an a-line skirt that draped down to her ankles that had a slit exposing her right leg. There were silver beads encircling her waist, as well as little red flowers across the neckline. She'd straightened her hair, which had taken hours, and applied minimal makeup. Caroline was supposed to come over and help her get ready, but she said she had a dress emergency and that she couldn't take it. Josiah later told her that Elena stole her dress and she was scrambling to find a replacement.

"Are we done yet?" Josiah asked after Esmeralda took another picture. "You've taken, like, 40 pictures."

"Oh, stop whining," Eliana quipped. Her and Sydney were standing behind Esmeralda as she snapped photos. "Senior prom only happens once. Well, actually, it'll happen twice for you since you're a junior who only gets to go because you're dating a senior, but the point still stands. You'll have to do this again next year, you know."

Josiah made a face and Elowen laughed. Binx walked over the lick at Elowen's hands, photobombing the next picture. Sydney snapped her fingers at him.

"Hey! Go lay down!"

Binx did as he was told. Esmeralda put the camera down and smiled at Elowen and Josiah.

"Oh, if only your dad was here to see you two."

Both Elowen and Josiah smiled sadly. Elowen walked over to Esmeralda and placed her hands on her shoulders.

"He's here. He always will be."

Elowen pulled Esmeralda in for a quick hug.

"Okay, Stefan and Damon should be here soon. I have to go."

Esmeralda pouted slightly. "Oh, fine." She leaned in and pecked her cheek. "Have fun, honey." She looked at Josiah over Elowen's shoulder. "You, too."

"We will, mom. Gotta go."

Elowen lifted up the bottom of her dress and headed for the door. Josiah was behind her, quickly grabbing Esmeralda's car keys out of his pocket. As the door closed behind them, a limo pulled up in front of their house.

"Oh, come on!" Josiah whined. "You get a limo? No fair!"

Elowen laughed. "If Caroline were here, I'd offer for you two to ride with us, but she's not. Are you going to pick her up?"

"No. She told me to meet her at the school in case she wasn't ready with her new dress."

Elowen patted Josiah's shoulder sympathetically. "It really sucks to be you right now."

"Shut up."

With another laugh, Elowen carefully walked down the steps of their porch as Stefan got out of the limo holding a bouquet of flowers. He smiled when he saw her.

"You look beautiful."

Elowen smiled back. "Thank you."

He handed over the flowers and she took them, then leaned up and kissed him quickly.

"I love you."

Stefan rested his hands on her hips. "I love you, too."

Damon finally got out of the limo. "Okay, lovebirds, break it up."

He gave Elowen a once over.

"You straightened your hair." He shook his head. "I don't like it."

Elowen's mouth dropped open and she moved to hit him across the arm.

"This took me almost two hours!"

"Relax. I'm not saying it looks bad. I just prefer the curls. They're more exciting."

"The curls are a nuisance. They tangle and they're a pain in the ass to brush."

"Yeah, but straight hair is dull, and you are far from dull." He lifted up the corsage that was in his hand. "Got you this."

Elowen shook her head, but found herself smiling anyway. She put out her hand and Damon slipped the corsage on her wrist.

"You look gorgeous, by the way."

"Thank you."

Damon leaned over and placed a kiss to her cheek. He gestured to the limo and held out a hand.

"Shall we?"

Elowen took his hand. "We shall."

Elowen walked down the red carpet leading to the prom, Stefan and Damon on each of her arms. The pathway was lined with screens playing a slideshow of pictures that featured the class of 2011.

"Where's the disco ball?" Damon asked when he saw everything.

"Caroline's been working on this for awhile," Stefan replied. "It's a, ah, photo yearbook of the senior class."

They all stopped in front of one of the screens. A picture of Elowen in her marching band uniform with another girl in senior year appeared. They were holding their respective instruments and smiled for the camera.

"You look ridiculous in that thing," Damon commented bluntly. "What's with the feather on the hat?"

"It's called a plume, jackass," Elowen replied. "It's part of the uniform."

"Well, that's tragic."

The picture changed to one of Elowen, Caroline and Bonnie at the 50s decade dance from junior year. Elowen smiled when she saw it.

"I forgot we took that."

"When did you even have the time?" Damon asked. "If I remember right, we spent that whole night trying to protect helpless little Elena. I really don't miss those days."

The picture changed again. This time it featured Stefan, Elowen, Caroline, Josiah, Matt and Elena, from when Stefan arranged a normal friend date night. It was also the night they caught Damon hooking up with Matt's mom. Talk about ending things on an awkward note.

"Well, as much as I like going down memory lane, I'm getting cold," Elowen said. "Let's get inside."

Elena was one of the many people who were already inside. Toby walked up to her just as she pulled out a flash and he swiftly took it from her to take a sip.

"There's always somebody who sneaks alcohol into high school dances," he mused. "Looks like this time, it's you."

Elena snatched back the flash and drank from it without a word. Toby continued to talk.

"So, what are you doing at your high school prom? I thought you didn't care about this stuff anymore."

"Guess I thought I'd humor myself," Elena finally replied. "See if hanging around a bunch of worthless teenagers was worth it."

"You should've told me. I would've offered to be your date."

Elena scoffed. "Please don't refer to yourself as my date."

"Fine. Your boyfriend, then."

Elena narrowed her eyes at him. He shrugged nonchalantly.

"What? That's what I am, aren't I?"

Elena laughed. "I'm not doing this."

"Doing what?"

"What are you doing? Trying to stir some feelings in me? Ironic, since you, my sire, are the one who had me turn it off."

"Which was a mistake because I was dumb enough to listen to somebody that hates me."

Elena shook her head. "You're nothing to me, Toby."

"Really? Then why tell me you're in love with me?"

"I told you I loved you because I was sired to you, and now that I'm not, I know that none of it was real."

"Then why did you wait for me when I asked you to? You had every right not to. I mean, nobody knew how long I was going to be gone, and everyone knew I was still in love with Elowen. Why choose to wait?"

"You know, maybe you're the one who needs help with your emotions, considering you're all hung up on the past. Excuse me."

Elena turned and left, leaving Toby on his own.

Across the room, Elowen, Stefan and Damon finally made it inside. Elowen looked around and was immediately impressed.

"Leave it to Caroline to single handedly put together senior prom all by herself. I tried to help her, but every time I didn't do something exactly the way she wanted, I'd get chewed out, so I left her to it."

Damon snorted. "At least your brother knows she's capable of planning her own wedding. This is just a dry run."

"Honestly? You're probably right. Okay, Damon, I love you, but Stefan's the one who hates to dance and I have to torture him at least once on prom night."

From beside her, Stefan started to groan in protest, while Damon smiled evilly.

"He's all yours, Wen."

"Oh, come on, don't-" Stefan started to say, but Damon kissed the back of Elowen's hand and walked away.

Elowen smirked up at Stefan.

"You're not getting out of this. It's prom! We're dancing."

Before Stefan could say anything, Elowen was dragging him out to the dance floor. He sighed dramatically in defeat as Elowen grabbed his hands, placed one on her waist and then settled her small palm into his larger one, her other hand coming to rest on his shoulder.

"See? This isn't so bad. You always act like dancing will kill you."

"Because I'm not fun, remember?"

"But, you can be. I've seen it."

"No, I'd rather leave that stuff to Damon."

Elowen pouted.

"Come on! You can't keep this up once you're human, you know. I won't let you. I'm serious."

"I know you are, and I love you for it."

Stefan smiled down at Elowen and she smiled back. He leaned down to kiss her.

"What are we going to do about the cure, anyway?" Elowen asked when he pulled away. "I mean, Katherine's probably long gone by now and we have no leads."

"Ssh. Let's not think about that right now. Let's just enjoy a normal prom night, okay?"

"Okay."

Elowen rested her head against Stefan's chest and they danced together in a comfortable silence.

Elsewhere in the room, Caroline entered the dance. She smiled as she watched everyone enjoy themselves. The moment was ruined when Elena approached her.

"So, how do I look?" She asked.

Caroline scoffed. "Are you kidding me? You look like a backstabbing bi-"

She saw Josiah approaching her from over Elena's shoulder and she stopped. Instead, she forced a smile onto her face.

"The dress is beautiful, and it brings out your eyes."

"Thanks. I thought I'd do it a favor."

Caroline opened her mouth to retort when Josiah reached her.

"Caroline!" He cut in before things got ugly. "Why don't you come dance with me?"

Caroline bit her tongue and grabbed Josiah's extended hand, allowing him to pull her onto the dance floor.

"Do I even want to know where you got a second dress on such short notice?" He asked as he placed his hands on her waist so they could dance.

Caroline shook her head. "No. The answer will make you mad."

"You know what? I'll take your word for it. You look beautiful, by the way. This dress is way prettier than the one Elena stole."

Caroline smiled. "Thanks. I love you, you know that?"

Josiah smiled back. "I love you, too."

He leaned down to give her a quick kiss and she giggled.

"You planned an amazing prom, by the way," he mumbled against her lips as he pulled away. "I wouldn't expect anything less from you. I don't know what they're gonna do next year when you're gone."

"I keep forgetting you're not a senior. You're gonna have to do this again, aren't you?"

Josiah shrugged. "Only if I want to. One might be enough. I'm not sure I want to repeat my mom holding me hostage to take pictures again."

"She only did it because she loves you. I wish my mom was like that."

"Come on. You know your mom loves you. She just shows it in a different way."

Caroline sighed. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Hm. Let's just enjoy the moment, okay?"

Josiah smiled. "Okay."

xxxx

"Aren't you supposed to be on Save Elena duty?" Elowen asked Toby as she came to stand next to him.

Toby sighed. "I'm taking a little breather. It's a little hard doing this all on my own."

"Elena hated me when she had her emotions on. There's no way I'm gonna get through to her. I'm the worst person possible to ask for help."

"I don't think she hated you. I think she was just jealous. Jealousy makes you do nasty things."

"Doesn't change the fact that we were never friends. I tried to be her friend, I really did, but we just never clicked." Elowen shrugged. "There's nothing wrong with that."

"Well, what about Bonnie and Caroline?"

"I don't know about Bonnie, but Elena tried to kill Caroline. She wants nothing to do with her."

Toby sighed. "This is just so much harder than I thought. How'd you do it with Stefan?"

"To be fair, it was Marisol who didn't give up on Stefan. I was a bad girlfriend for abandoning him when he needed me the most."

Toby smiled slightly. "Is it weird that I kind of miss her? She was so… pure, and genuine. Completely uncorrupted by today's society. It was nice."

"One of the only things that gives me reassurance about her giving up her life for me is knowing that she gets to spend eternity on the other side with Kol. After all this, at least they can finally be together, you know?"

"Huh. Never thought about that. You're right. That is reassuring. She's not alone anymore."

Bonnie pushed her way through the crowd towards Elowen and Toby and appeared in front of them.

"We have a problem."

Elowen and Toby both frowned, shared a glance, and then followed after Bonnie. They met up with Stefan, Damon, Caroline, Josiah and Matt. Bonnie explained how Silas appeared to her as Jeremy outside.

"It's like Jeremy was there," she said. "I could talk to him, feel him."

"Bonnie, that's what Silas does," Stefan told her. "You can't let him get to you again."

"Yeah, because you all crazy and brainwashed is just not a good look," Damon agreed.

On the stage, April Young was preparing to announce prom king and queen, but they weren't paying attention.

"Maybe somebody should take her home," Josiah suggested.

Toby immediately took his head. "No. She's safer in public around all these people. There's no way Silas can make everyone see the same thing."

"Agreed," Damon said.

"Okay, in the meantime, how do we look out for a guy that can appear as anyone?" Matt asked.

Before anyone could answer, April announced that Bonnie and Matt were prom king and queen. A spotlight shined on the two of them and the group squinted to see past it. Bonnie and Matt didn't move, so Elowen and Toby each gave them a light push. They broke out of their stupor and started making their way towards the stage.

"Okay, we need to split up and try to find Silas," Elowen spoke up after they left.

Everyone else nodded and then went their separate ways.

xxxx

Damon was out by the red carpet pathway where the screens playing the slideshow were. He looked up at one just in time to see a picture of Toby and Elowen at the 60s decade dance. Stefan and Damon didn't really get to spend a lot of time with her that night as they found out Klaus was in Alaric's body, but at least she still got to have at least some fun with her best friend.

The picture changed to one of Stefan and Elowen. They were playing pool at The Grill. It was Elowen's turn and she was leaned over the pool table, but Stefan must've been helping her with the shot, because he had himself pressed up against her back and his hands were placed over hers. Elowen looked concentrated, her tongue caught between her teeth, while Stefan stared down at her lovingly, Elowen completely unaware. It looked as if they didn't know somebody was taking a picture, because neither of them acknowledged the camera.

"You looking for Silas, or are you waxing nostalgic about misspent youth?"

Damon looked over and saw Stefan approaching him. Damon nodded at the picture as it disappeared.

"You two look happy there. Normal."

"Just imagine how much more normal we can be once I take the cure."

Damon sighed. "... Yeah."

Stefan looked away from the screen to Damon. "Why sound so glum? Are you finally realizing that you're losing your baby brother once I become human? That Elowen will get to live out a fulfilling life without you?"

Damon frowned and looked over at Stefan. "What?"

Stefan shrugged. "I mean, I don't mean to be a dick, but once I take the cure, I can give her things that you'd only dream of. Maybe she might realize she won't need you. "

"Excuse me?"

"Look at it this way. She loved me first, and first loves never go away. It took you almost dying of a werewolf bite to make her realize her true feelings. Imagine how sad that is."

Damon scowled. Finally hearing enough, he sped at Stefan to try and attack him, but Stefan swiftly stabbed him in the stomach.

"Your mind is a very dark and riveting place, Damon."

Damon groaned in pain and fell to his knees.

"Ugh! Silas. Where's my brother, you psychic freak?"

"He's in the woods, where I convinced him I was you. He's probably in a bit of pain now, too. So's your hybrid friend and the male witch. The Bennett witch, on the other hand, is mine. Stay away from her."

Silas patted Damon on the arm and then left.

xxxx

"Josiah?" Caroline called out, wandering through the woods. "Jo? Where are you?"

She heard a faint hiss of pain, followed by someone quietly mumbling her name. She furrowed her eyebrows and followed the found before she found Josiah on the ground, leaning up against a tree, with a stake protruding out of his stomach. She widened her eyes and dove down next to him.

"Jo! Oh my god!"

She grabbed the stake and pulled it out, drawing a loud yell from Josiah. Acting quickly, she bit into her hand and placed it against Josiah's mouth.

"What happened?" She asked worriedly after Josiah drank enough.

"Silas," he coughed. "He pretended to be you."

"What? What did he say?"

Josiah pushed himself off of the tree and started to stand up, ignoring Caroline's question.

"Jo? What did he say?"

"Let's just find the others."

"No, Jo." Caroline grabbed his arm to stop him from leaving. "You can tell me."

Josiah sighed. He turned to face Caroline.

"It was stupid."

"I'm not going to judge you."

Josiah sighed again. "He brought up Klaus."

"Oh."

"You just… you can't blame me for being jealous of him. I mean, he's this all powerful hybrid who can give you things that I never could."

"Jo… I don't care about being wined and dined. I don't care about any of that stuff. I care about you."

"Maybe you do, but don't deny the fact that you two have some kind of connection. I mean, you got this dress from him, right? You went to him, asked for a dress, and he gave it to you without hesitating. That's what I'm talking about, Caroline."

Caroline faltered. She looked down at her dress.

"... I'm sorry. I didn't think going to him for a dress through. I didn't think about how it would affect you. I was only thinking about myself and wanting to upstage Elena for stealing my original dress." She sighed. "You know what, though? Klaus will never be able to touch what we have. He's trying to win me over with gifts and money. You won me over by just being yourself. What we have is real, authentic, and I love you and everything about you. You're kind, caring, you would do anything for the people you love, not to mention you're downright hilarious. You always know how to lighten up the mood. Always know the right thing to say. Josiah, I love you. Never forget that, okay?"

Slowly, Josiah nodded.

"For the record, I love you, too."

Caroline smiled and Josiah smiled back. She leaned over and gave him a quick kiss.

"Alright, let's find everyone else."

"Agreed."

xxxx

Elowen huffed, stopping in the middle of the woods. She hadn't come across a single thing since parting from the others to look for Silas. She was on the verge of giving up. Shaking her head, she turned and started heading back towards the dance. She stopped in her tracks when she heard a small grunt. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Hello?"

"... Elowen?"

"Toby? Where are you?"

She walked a few yards ahead of her and found Toby leaning against a tree, doubled over. She rushed over when she saw him.

"Oh my god. What happened?"

Toby gripped onto the stake that was in his stomach and ripped it out. He dropped it to the ground.

"Silas posed as Elena. Tricked me into thinking I was getting through to her and then he stabbed me."

"Ouch."

Her eyes widened a second later.

"Oh my god. Stefan and Damon. We need to find them. Come on."

"No, just, go on without me. I need a moment."

"Uh-uh. I'm not leaving you out here alone where Silas can get to you again."

Toby sighed loudly and stood up straight. He fell back against a tree again.

"Want to know what absolutely sucks ass?"

"Hm?"

"The second I finally feel myself getting over you, I royally screw it up. God, I am such an idiot."

Elowen turned back towards Toby and walked over to him. She placed a hand on his shoulder.

"You're not an idiot. You thought you were doing what was best for her. I mean, yeah, you should've never listened to Damon, but you did because part of you saw the appeal, and there's nothing wrong with that. You like Elena enough to not give up on her during one of her darkest moments. You liked her enough to ask her to wait for you when you left to break your sire bond to Klaus, and you liked her enough to take a chance on her in the first place. You might not love her yet, like she says she loves you, but if you say that you're moving on from me, then you're at the first steps of falling madly in love with someone who's not me. Give it time. You'll make it through this."

Toby shot her a small smile. "I love you, you know that? I mean that in a friend way, obviously."

Elowen grinned back at him. "I know you do. Now come on. Let's find Stefan and Damon."

"Roger that."

xxxx

They met up with Stefan and Damon, shortly before Caroline and Josiah came into view.

"Anybody find anything?" Damon asked.

Elowen shook her head. "No."

Before anyone could say anything else, they all heard the car alarms going off in the distance. They all looked at each other and frowned.

"Okay, Jo, Care, go back into the dance and find Matt. Make sure he's okay," Elowen instructed. "Something tells me the car alarms is Bonnie. We'll deal with her."

Everyone nodded and then parted for a second time. When Stefan, Damon, Elowen and Toby arrived at the parking lot, they found Elena on the ground, yelling in pain and holding her head, and Bonnie standing over her a few feet away. Toby immediately ran forward to check on Elena and pull her into his lap.

"Bonnie, stop," Elowen said quickly. "Bonnie."

"Toby, help me," Elena choked out, continuing to writhe in pain.

"Bonnie, you're killing her," Elowen tried again.

"I know what I'm doing," Bonnie replied emotionlessly.

"That's the magic talking. Bonnie, this is Elena. She's your best friend."

Bonnie ignored Elowen.

"Damn it, Bonnie," Damon hissed under his breath from beside Elowen.

Elena wheezed and managed to look up at Bonnie, blood dripping from her nose.

"Bonnie… please."

Slowly, moments later, Bonnie lifted the spell. Elena gasped in relief.

"You okay?" Elowen asked quietly.

Bonnie whirled around on Elowen. "No, I'm not okay! I almost died! The shell of my best friend almost killed me. None of this is okay!"

She pushed past Elowen and left before Elowen could get a word out.

"I got you," Toby whispered in Elena's ear as he carefully helped her up. She staggered weakly and Toby quickly caught her. "Hey, whoa."

Before Elena could fully recover, Toby jabbed a syringe full of vervain into Elena's side and she fell into his arms, unconscious. He looked up at Stefan, Damon and Elowen's surprised faces.

"Plan B."

xxxx

Toby huffed as he laid Elena down on the cot in the cell at the boarding house.

"She might not feel much, but she's gonna feel that in the morning," Damon said.

"So, what's the plan?" Elowen asked Toby as he exited the cell and locked the door behind him.

"When Bonnie was whaling on her tonight, I could see it in her eyes," Toby started to reply. "Elena genuinely thought she was gonna die. She was terrified."

"Fear."

"Exactly. Last time I checked, that's an emotion."

"So, Plan C. Make her life a living hell."

"You guys care to talk about our other problem?" Damon questioned. "You know, the one that can be anyone, anywhere, anytime?"

"Silas still needs Bonnie," Stefan spoke up. "And if tonight is any indication, she's no pushover. She's not gonna let him manipulate her. Not anymore."

"I wouldn't underestimate his talents. He fooled the hell out of 4 out of 6 of us."

Elowen sighed.

"I'm just ready to get out of this stupid dress and go to bed."

"Ditto, but with this tux," Toby replied. "See you guys later."

"Yeah."

They all headed back into the main part of the house. Toby headed for the front door and left. Elowen huffed and ran her fingers through her hair.

"I'm gonna shower and then crash. Goodnight you two."

"Goodnight."

"Sleep tight."

Were Stefan and Damon's respective replies as Elowen disappeared upstairs.
